CNiGraph3D: MsgBox "Error accessing the controls custom interface"
When calling CNigraph3D:lot3DSurface(CNiReal64Vector, CNiReal64Vector, CNiReal64Matrix) under W2k I get a message box: "Error accessing the controls custom interface". The same application runs on a different multi-boot machine under Win98, WinNT and W2k. What causes this error? DLL incompatibilities?

this error occurs only for the Graph3D (the application has also a 2D-Graph which works fine).
I think the ActiveX is properly installed, since I can see the graph3D before the data is scanned. The user can rotate the view, zoom in, change the scale,...
Only when the scan is finished an the application wants to plot the data, the message box pops up.
I did not install the controls on the testing machine, since LabVIEW 6 was installed and the controls have been installed. The *.ocx have the same size/version/date as on my dev. machine. LabVIEW has no problems with the graph3D control. (I forgot to mention this in my question, sorry for that).
Are there any differences in installing the controls when used by LabVIEW and by an MS VC++ app usin
g CW-controls?
On another machine is was sufficient to call regsvr32 to the *.ocx and everything worked fine.

The incident starts after all the members are removed from the DCS Stack DefaultCoreGroup view and added back again by WebSphere Application Server. Following exceptions are seen after LiveCycle was added back in again to the view.

I have tried looking for the root cause about why LiveCycle was not able to resume normally, didn't find anything related.LiveCycle uses Gemfire as distributed cache for cluster members. If you are using TCP Locators (caching based on TCP instead of UDP), below are the possible situations which might lead to “ForcedDisconnectException” :
- There is time difference between two nodes.
- These is network connectivity issues.
- The high CPU usage by the member crashed.

Accessing the Control/FIFO registers of NI 8422 in DOS
Using the drivers niboot.exe and ni-pnp.exe driver files we are able to access the COM 1-4 ports on the card as these files create mapping of the COM ports and provides the equivalent base address however the base address of the Control Register, Transmitter/Reciever FIFO register are not specified which is necessary to monitor in order to transmitt/recieve data using the DOS and the code in C.
The solution to look for is either look for the memory/base address of the 8422 card or the function in C language which can access the Control Register, Transmitter/Reciever FIFO register of the card.

The base address of the COM port is necessary in order to determine the I/O address of the registers on the 16550 based UART. For example, the address of the Line Control Register for COM port 1 is calculated by adding the Base Address of COM port 1 + Offset 3. How can I access the control lines of a PCI-1422 from within C++?
I would like to know how the control lines of a PCI-1422 can be accessed (set) programmatically from within C++ (MS VC++7, Windows XP). A flat panel sensor connected to the PCI-1422 needs the control lines to switch on features like binning which I want to use.
Unfortunately I was unable to identify an appropriate command in the IMAQ documentation. Does anyone have experiences with this?

The control lines are not exposed through any API. The control lines are run by the driver based on the instructions in the camera files. If the cammera file supports the binning functionality of your camera then you should be able to set the attributes such that the board runs the control lines approriately.

Is it possible to access the http web interface over the fa1 management interface?
Hello All,
I am remotely connected into a Cat 4500 + Supervisor V module via console cable and point to point connection from laptop to fa1 management interface on SupV. SupV module is running IOS 15.0(2)SG8.
I am not able to physically change the patch cable from fa1 management interface to gi2/3 or any other switch port for a couple days and would like to see if it is possible to access the http server through this fa1 port since I am working remotely. I can ping the laptop from fa1 and tftp ok but cannot access the http/https server. Is this even possible without connecting the laptop into a regular switch port like gi 2/3 gi 2/4 etc..? The reason I ask is I would like to use Cisco Networking Assistant gui for some things but need access to https server first over the fa1 link.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

We have a problem only with one user, when the user access the UWL get the following error:
Runtime error in the portal
Exception in processing request, send the ID of exception to your portal ADMINISTRATION

The other user does not have problems accessing the mailbox.
The user is assigned the role of the mailbox correctly.
Any idea what may be the problem?

The best way to see what these issues are is to check the trace for when the run time error has occured:
Log on to the portal, recreate the runtime error. Then follow:
1596214 How to find the latest default trace from right after
reproducing an issue. Please ensure that you have reproduced the
issue with a user that is experiencing the issue that you have reported. When you find the most recent default trace file, copy and paste the numbers from the portal screen and do a ctrl + F with the trace file opened and paste in the runtime error. Now you should be able to see what is causing this issue.
Then when you get this information, please paste or attach the file here that contains the runtime error for the user. From this we should be able to figure out why the user is getting this.
Also as an admin user, try clearing this users personalizations on the Universal Worklist first.
Please clear all personalizations with the affected user and retest.

thanksActually, that's exactly what we're doing.
Later parts of the code have to look at the fill color of each item, check its type (gradient -vs- spot) and compare it to other colors. In order to avoid a series of 'if' statements every time, we have made a function that takes each page item and returns a path item from it so we can work with that within the rest of the code (it's easier to write all of these comparisons if your'e always expecting to get a path item, and the first path item of every compound path has properties that apply to the entire compound path..) SO... that function looks like this:

But when i access the Reader Extensions Server web application i see the following error:

Have you ever faced this kind of message before?
To tell you the truth i'm not very sure if my Rights Credential file is valid. But is this the cause of this message?

Yes, it seems to me also, as a bad certificate issue.
If memory serves, I run into this message once, where the certificate was valid. Anyway, Websphere v6 is not a supported app server. Have you tried installing on v5.1?

HT4623 Why can't I access the Control Center in iOS 7?
Swiping up does not bring up the Control Center. Also, the phone is locked in the vertical position. How can I get back the functionality of having it change orientations?
cDo you have a case on your phone? You have to swipe up from the very bottom edge of screen, and some cases are a tad too large to enable you to do that. Try taking off the case to see if you can swipe up.
Once you get there, you may see that the Orientation lock is highlighted, which means it is locked. Tap it to allow you to swith between portrait and landscape.

Cluster of control references: want to access the control value
I want to be able to save and set control values that are saved (XML). I have my controls on about 5 sub vi's. So I thought it'd be a good idea
to put all the control references in a cluster from the several sub vi's and save and read from one point.
I can get the cluster values (i.e. the references to the controls), but how to proceed from here? If somebody has a better idea it is very welcome.
I have also read Ben's nugget here, but it deals with references to controls in a cluster, not references to a reference of a control in a clusterThank you for reading that Nugget!
I use a GUI Controller in many apps so I can grab refs in sub-VI's.
Here are some screen shots of them in use.
The first "GUI Cnt" is a wrapper around the AE and invokes the action "Set Analysis mode" then another call let me get a cluster of the refs so I can choose based on the name.

The clerk may show you how some items qualify for some lower cost services depending on thickness (fitting either the 5mm or 20mm slots for domestic first class eligibility for example) and weight. For example, when I look at your listing 291522448532 I cannot see how you can ship this lightweight item for less than $9 within Canada due to its size (parcel would be thicker than 20mm). You only charge $4 or so.

ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:As the error message specifies.. table XXCUR_TRADE_CUSTOMER_DETAILS doesnt exists.
Create a synonyms for this table in apps schema with all the grants.

Why can't I access the control panel of my E1000 router?
http://192.168.1.1/ cannot be displayed when I click on it, as if the page does not exist. http://my.E1000 doesn't work either.
My router frequently has connection issues as well when laptop users are complaining that they are "connected but have limited connectivity". In reality they have no connectivity. They have no internet access on their browsers or games. Resetting it seems to be the only thing that ever fixes this and now, despite my network supposedly being called "Neil," it's calling its self "Neil 2" and has no password. I can't change it back because I cannot get into my router's settings either!
So yea. In a few words, it's all kind of bork. Does anyone know what is wrong with it?

Check the ip address.If you are getting the correct ip address(192.168.1.1) then,reset the browser settings and try again to open the setup page.If that also does not work then,reset the router for 45-50 seconds,power cycle the router and check. -

Apple does not control the design of third party cases.
Control center and the notification center both operate via vertical swipes up or down from outside the screen area. If you've chosen to use a case which prevents you from using such gestures, that is your choice. Apple are not going to fundamentally change the design of the operating system, just so you can use a particular third party case.
