i have a JSP with a few sibling custom tags:
<a:sibling1 .../>
<a:sibling2 attr2="value" />
<a:sibling3 .../>
Now, I need the value of the attribute "attr2" of the tag "sibling2" for all my tags - sibling1/2/3/etc - to work ... (once i get the value of attr2, I place it in the pageContext and hence there's no hassle following that - the problem is to get the value that first time) ... But I cannot assume where the sibling2 tag will be placed - it can be placed at first, at last, in-between, can be nested - u get my point ...
I was wondering if there was any way I could retrieve the tag handler instance for sibling2 from ANY tag on the page? ... or if u guys think there's a basic flaw in this design and can suggest an alternative ...

Take a look at the .java file that is parsed from the .jsp file; the tags will be processed in a top-down fashion as they appear in the .jsp page; by the time the doStartTag method of the second tag has been called, the doEndTag of the first tag will have completed, leaving the second tag no way to alter the output of the first tag.
If you want the functionality you describe then you'll have to place your tags into a common framework that will work around the top-down architecture of the page. Having a parent tag that collects its children, runs a check for shared data on each one, passes out any shared data it finds, then collects output from each, will allow you to do what you want.
If the whole point is to not have a parent tag, you may still be able to get the mess to work, but I don't know that it would be worth the effort.

If you didn't save, nothing is recoverable.
iWork apps don't create temp files so, as far as you on't save something, Time Machine can't archive it.

I'm afraid you'll have to get the phone serviced, dropping the phone must have damaged additional parts inside the phone.
But Apple will not service the phone anymore, opening the phone and replacing the battery should only be done by authorized personal, not by users.
You'll have to look for a 3rd party repair shop and see if they can fix this, sorry.

Are you using Win 7 64 bit? Did you update the Texas Instruments (TI) USB 3.0 XHCI Host Controller?
I have an H8 1380t PC. Updated the TI USB 3.0 driver and had the same problem.
When booting the PC with the USB 3.0 external drive connected to the PC the PC would not boot. When booting the PC with only the mouse, keyboard, and a USB 2.0 external drive attached the PC would boot. Once booted you could attach the USB 3.0 drive and it worked fine.
Solution was to roll back (reinstall) the TI USB 3.0 XHCI Host Controller to the original factory installed driver.
System now boots with the external USB 3.0 drive attached.

Name and Address operator's packge do not have any values

I am using the Name and Address operator, but I do not have/want the 3rd party vendor's connector/tool/data library to work with my OWB.
I developed the map and deployed that map into my target.
Package got generated of name NAME_ADDRESS
In this package the entry point is the MAIN function, in the main function taking one parameter p_env.
When I execute the Package from SQL*Plus I am getting the value of p_env, which is wrong, p_env can not be NULL/0 at any case.
All I want is, how to pass/populate the value into p_env parameter, there will be more than one value into that parameter, param_value varchar2(30)and param_name varchar2(4000).
But I know nothing about what are the values may be in , when I execute the package...

Page 8-73 of the Warehouse Builder user's guide explicitly highlights the following section:
Note: Taking advantage of the Name and Address operator requires separate licensing and additional installation steps. Refer to the Oracle9i Warehouse Builder Installation and Configuration Guide for more information.
The functionality that does the parsing and standardization is not part of Warehouse Builder, but part of the package that the software partner brings in. If you think about that, it actually makes sense. Would you expect Warehouse Builder to contain the code to perform this action for all countries across the globe, in all different languages and the like? The data vendors, who are the experts in the different areas, know this information.
So, if all you want to do, is parse and standardize an address, then yes, you may be better of going directly to a partner (having said that, you may get a discount if you are a Warehouse Builder customer, but that I do not know for sure).
However, what does Warehouse Builder add:
- Data object design (maybe your target tables don't exist) and deployment
- ETL design and code generation
- Process flow creation and deployment
- Execution management (automatic logging etc)
- Integration with Discoverer
- Metadata management, such as impact analysis, version management, multi language support...
- Much, much more.
Specific to name and address (or say data quality): if you include the name and address operator on a Warehouse Builder mapping, then you can plug in any partner library you want, and in case you find out that another partner delivers better results, then go with the other partner. At the end of the day, you abstracted the implementation from the design. That makes you much more flexible in your choice of a data vendor. Besides, you get impact analysis, lineage and lots of other metadata management features for free. On top of that, if you want to identify duplicates, perform householding and the like, then there is match and merge (which yes, is part of the tool and not a third-party implementation) in order to define the rules for matching and merging.
Again, if you don't need any of that, then perhaps you don't want the overhead of having all this and you go directly to a data vendor.

I found a similar problem and the instructions said to check a permission box in the "Get Info" tab.
This applies only when the Library is on an external drive. You cannot ignore permissions on the system drive.

Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store

My problem is the FieldPoint error message in LabWindows/CVI v6.0.
When hook up with Ethernet module(FP-1600), NO Problem on the source code, specially item Name "All". See the actual code.

But When hook up with RS-232C Module(FP-1000), occured error. The error code is 32812, that means "The Specified tag name was not found."
What makes this error? Why item name "All" makes the error when using FP-1000?

Make sure the resourceName and deviceName match what is in FieldPoint Explorer. See the following KB:

Also, I have seen this error when targetting serial modules with FieldPoint Explorer open. Make sure FP Explorer is closed.

XML Tag in PHP Not Printing

I am using PHP 5 version and trying to print simple xml tag but its not wotking. The tag is echo '<markers/>'; . If i remove '>' i,e echo '<markers/'; its working fine. What could be the reason ?

Reason is quite simple. If your output does not start with <?xml ...?> (it probably does not) then browser undrstands and interprets it as HTML tag. So if you use "view page source" your tag will there.

Tag 'dmnd': Tag size is not correct msg in Colorsync Utility

When I press the verify button in the Colorsync Utility, I get the path to my ICC Profile
/Library/Printers/Epson/InkjetPrinter/ICCProfiles/Pro38.profiles/Contents/Resour ces/Pro3800 3800C 3850 standard.icc
and then Tag 'dmnd':Tag size is not correct on the next line.
After that, Verify done - found 1 bad profile.
The printer works ok in Photoshop, though prints maybe come out a bit on the dark side as compared to my calibrated screen.
Is this something to be concerened about, and if so, what exactly is the course of action I should take?

Sorry, I thought you asked what course of action to take.
It means the data for that "tag" in the profile is not the size expected - I know, that's obvious too. The 'dmnd' tag contains the manufacturer's description.

You could try opening it in ColorSync Utility and editing the tag.

p tags with attributes not removed from JTextPane

We are using HTMLEditorKit with JtextPane to create a HTML Document Editor, for our project. [JDK 1.3.1.]
When we have a simple tag for paragraph in HTML and we start deleting things from end of the document, it works fine. But when we have a tag with attributes like the delete key deletes the characters but the cursor remains in the line below and doesnot move up as the characters of above para get deleted. The HTML also retains the tag, which should have been removed. It seems its not able to identify tags with attributes as Html para tags, and so not deleting it.
How do we solve this without migrating to jdk1.4 ? Please help.

Usually attributes such as 'align=center' are deleted along with a tag, regardless of whether it is a p tag or another one. But you would have to carefully test what exactly gets deleted because attributes are not only stored with paragraphs. They can exist for single characters and as well come from a style sheet.
The best is to generate a dump of your document before and after deletion.
You can use something like the below code (it is not optimized at all and thus could be implemented better but it works) to produce a dump

Read array tags with OPC (not DS) -- LV6.1

Hello DSC experts:
The Siemens OPC server to which I am connected publishes array tags and I cannot change that fact. I can read those array tags using the "Datasocket Read Double Vector.vi" but as the number of tags grows this slow method becomes unreliable. Instead I would like to use DSC but I do not see any Vi that allows me to read vector tags? Like I said I have to live with the OPC configuration as it is today hence I do not think that going through the flatten/unflatten to string method is an alternative.
Any clue?

Can you do any kind of array indexing when addressing the tag inside the opc server?? Something like tagname.xx or tagname[xx] where you would select a portion of the tagname array data. Could you talk directly with the VISA drivers and use a read multiple registers command instead of a DSC driver?? To my knowledge, the tag engine does not support array addressing for a tag datatype. I do use the method of flattening an array of data into a binary string and writing it to a memory tag, but the array data is created inside labview. I submitted DSC tag array datatype to a request list quite some time ago but never heard anything about it again. I wonder if a DDE connection could be established to read string data. Then do a string to number conversion. What version
of Siemens hardware/software are you using?? I think the tag engine really is lacking with respect to the capabilites of the latest OPC software. I would love to see NI directly integrate an OPC program like KEPWARE so you did not have to use the tag engine. Are you using serial or ethernet communication??
