Code to undeploy EJB modules only works outside of weblogic

I have three applications, which we'll call "ejbapp", "deploysa", and "deployear" for reference. The "ejbapp" is just composed of individual EJB modules, using "classloader-structure" elements to put each EJB module in its own ClassLoader (to allow each EJB module to be individually undeployed). The "deploysa" is a standalone app that just uses "DeployerRuntimeMBean" to stop and start individual EJB modules in "ejbapp". The "deployear" app is an ear containing basically the same deployment logic that "deploysa" contains.
When I run "deploysa", I can see it successfully undeploy an individual EJB module in "ejbapp".
When I run "deployear", however, when it executes the "stop()" method, I see the following exception:
NoAccessRuntimeException: Access not allowed for subject: principals=[], on ResourceType: DeployerRuntime Action: execute, Target: stop
I've tried several variations of this. There are three overloaded versions of "DeployerRuntime.getDeployerRuntime()", and I've tried all three of them, including the one taking "user, pwd, url", which is the one that "deploysa" uses (successfully).
I've googled for this error, but the only occurrences I've found are people reporting a problem like this, but without finding a solution.

I've resolved this. As JPDs normally run with "anonymous" permissions, you have to set the "run-as" element on the underlying session bean to "weblogic". This can be done with the following in the javadoc comment block:
@common:security run-as="weblogic"
I believe it can also be set in the WLI console.

  • BUG: Ctrl+Alt+ number to switch modules only works with number pad

Really annoying, since this worked nicely in the beta. If, for example, you hold down Ctrl+Alt+1 (pressing 1 on the top row of the keyboard) to switch to the Library Module, it doesn't work. If you use 1 on the numeric keypad, it works fine. What's the big deal, you ask? Well, try using the number pad on a laptop - you either get to use the number keys or the regular keys, so this shortcut is essentially useless on anything other than a full-size keyboard.

Windows treats Ctrl + Alt shortcuts as special. They are used as hotkeys for desktop icons, and if a key is used for that purpose, it overrides any use within a program. I did a little research, and setting a desktop hotkey to 3 will cause your LR symptoms, where you can't used the normal numbers and have to use the keypad to switch modules. On the other hand, you'd probably be seeing the effect of using the non-number-pad keys (they'd launch a program), so it's a mystery.
In my testing, I noticed that the Firefox browser uses that key combination to switch between its tabbed sessions. If you're running that program, you could test to see if it exhibits the same symptoms.

  • Changes to standard BIC EJB Module code possible ?

    Hi All,
Can we get the code of standard ejb module "localejbs/CallBicXIRaBean "  ? if yes , from where ?
Also can we edit this code to make a custom module , so that I can move the error file (failed in validation) to another directory?
"MP: exception caught with cause Error in BICMODULE-module:Temporary error: BIC XI Adapter call failed. Reason: SegmentDescription: checkAndResetChildrenCounter() not enough repetitions of the segment UNH found: 0 instead of 1 offset :80 DESCRIPTION: SegmentDescription Warning: Not enough repetitions of the segment UNH (not specified/not specified)."
    Please suggest .
    Thankyou,
    Jyoti

    Hi,
Not sure but check the error directory configured if using file adapter and then set the MessageTransform property(Transform.PermanentErrors) to Fail...and check
But i dont think you can get the source for the module as it is provided by the Seeburger which is not free of cost..
you need to get the class files and decompile them and try to analyse if interested you will get part of the flow but not complete..
    Gud luck

  • The resource manager is doing work outside a global transaction

I use Orable 8.1.7.4 with Sun Java Application Server 7.0.0_04. The XA data source I use is oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource.
Oracle JDBC driver version is 10.1.0.2.0.
I have an J2EE application with 2 EJB modules. Each EJB module works use own ConnectionPool.
All Entity beans are CMP, CMT.
All methods have transactional attribute REQUIRED.
When I work with beans from single EJB module only, all works fine.
When I try to call session bean method from a session bean from ANOTHER EJB module - an exception will be thrown:
WARNING: JTS5041: The resource manager is doing work outside a global transaction
    oracle.jdbc.xa.OracleXAException
    Anyone got any idea?

I remember having exact same problem with 9.2 drivers, the problem got fixed with 9.2.0.5 drivers -- perhaps Oracle hasn't ported the same fix to 10g drivers. As a workaround try creating non-XA datasource to avoid the exceptions.

All the configuration is ok ( it works ( the same code ) but it works only if I change s:module to s:panel (or anything different to a module) or if I keep login as a s:module but moving all configuration from loginConfig ( module config file ) to the "main" context defined in  the <s:Appplication> it works too.
**So the problem is with modules** : ( the module only works with the first <s:application> context )
this is what happens when i run or debug the application:
The s:application starts and loads the module, user click on btnSnd button and _onClick() is executed , but when:
        dispatcher(new LoginRequestMessage(LoginRequestMessage.LOGIN_REQUEST_MESSAGE));
is executed -> Nothing Happens . **There is No dispatching**  ( see 4) , LoginConfig.mxml source code , mentioned
    before, for more details.. )
so.. when I use module and its context configuration ( it looks like the module is not attached to the context but it's attached to the <s:application> context.
    as i said before:
**A)** All Works OK if a move the LoginConfig configuration to the <s:application> context
    or
**B)** All works OK if a change  Login.mxml  from s:module to any displayObject ,like mx:panel for example, but not a module.. ( if i do that ( not using module ), all works ok even if a leave the conf LoginConfig.mxml (the "second context" containing the conf and not moving its conf to the s:app first context)
so, my problem is implementing a module (login) having its own context, configured pointing to its own parsley:objects mxml config file (loginConfig) , and when the module function is disptaching parsley message event in that configured module, nothing happens even when the conf is correct.
    C) More of the same.. but: All Works OK if I create a new project, and a put only the module and its context conf , its classes ( message, command, service etc) changing the login.mxml from s:Module to s:Application using loginContext as the unique "main" context.. so that's why I can say that configuration of commands, messages, etc involved in this short example works ok but only doesn't work when using a module and the conf in its own context.
I have made lot of tries but nothing works.. i need to solve this proble as soon as possible, meanwhile, I decided to put all configiration in  the first context file ( the <s:application> context ) keeping the login as a module ( Option (A) as a temporary solution, but I don't like it.. I need a real solution, thanks a lot for all responses

Thanks.. Yes, I 've enabled Parsley Logging and the output is :
I 'm showing output console first, Using Module ( Login.swf ) just like the exaple code ,

    2) Second:
Now, I will show you the parsley output of running a second version of the program, where login is now a panel and not a module.  ( I 've only changed s:module to s:panel and in the main s:app  < view:login/> instead of <mx:moduleLoader "login" ../>
The output is almost the same, but it has some differences ( main difference this no modular version works ) ..
The pasley debug console output for this version not using modules: ( this version dispatches the message correctly, when the module  version executes the disptach sentence but nothing happens ) :
So.. No modular Version Debug Output:

As you can see in this 2nd log, warnings of module version are not present here. Another difference is that  in this no modular version, where login is now a panel and not a module, and where all works ok (dispatching works) , main log differences are  : from 15:07:42.352 to the end of the log. In fact all is almost the same until 15:07:42.337 (included) ( where it says :
15:07:42.337 [INFO] org.spicefactory.parsley.core.messaging.impl.DefaultMessageProcessor Dispatch message '[object LoginRequestMessage]' with 1 receiver(s)
But in modular version nothing more happens, when disptacher is executed for that message nothing is dispatched, but, in this no modular version ( the login panel version ) with same configuration , when the disptacher sentence is executed parsley disptachs the message, and debugger continues to next sentence wich is the loginCommand.execute method ( just as it is expected / configured )
    So..
Could anyOne compare the 2 logs versions ( modular (not working)  vs no modular (panel) (working) ) (both with same mxml:objects parsley configuration file ( LoginConfig.mxml ) , and tell me what I am missing  ?? Thanks a lot!

  • EJB module

I  created an EJB module (in netweaver developer studio) which connects to an oracle database.but I dont know how to reference EJB module to an oracle driver so as to import the oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver.
Need some help on this to resolve the same.

    Hi ,
You have created EJB module. To connect with the oracle database directly write the JDBC connectivity code within the EJB module so that when the EJB module is called ; then directly it will connect with the oracle database. For that oracle jdbc:odbc driver you need to call thru java class.Java provides some standard class to implement the jdbc connectivity. Please check that.I think it might solve your problem.

  • Code only works in first frame

    Hello,
I have several buttons, and when each one is mouse clicked by
the user, text appears in a dynamic text box. I want to have the
text appear in a different color for each of the buttons. However,
it is only working in the first frame, and not in subsequent
frames. All of the buttons have instance names in every frame (in
fact, they are named the same in frame 1, frame 2, etc. . .--but
that doesn't seem to be the problem??) Below is my code. Any
    suggestions? Thanks!

Found the answer. The code defining the variable:
    var my_color:Color = new Color(textBox);
must only be on the first frame. The rest of the code must be
    on all the frames.

  • FPGA code only works on alternate executions

    Hi,
I have some code I wrote for FPGA which, by itself, works fine. I tried to use "Open FPGA VI Reference" as part of a previous (non-FPGA based) VI. However, I find that the full code only works on alternate executions. I thought this may be because the FPGA VI is not being reset properly. However, I have used "Close FPGA VI Reference" and chose "Close and Reset" and the problem remains.
    Any help is appreciated,
    Thanks.

    Hi Gary,
I hope you are doing well today! What version of LabVIEW FPGA are you using? When you say you are doing 'alternate executions', what exactly do you mean? Do you run your host VI, stop it and then run it again? Have you tried just using Close instead of resetting the FPGA VI? Also, what are you using the reference for? What are you invoking? It would, also, be better if you post a screenshot of your VI.

I would think this is a security issue.
You would need to add the swf file to the trusted file list
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04a.ht ml
When the file is available through a http link, this problem will not be visible. The above setting needs to be done when you are running the htm/swf from a local drive.
    Hope this helps.

  • Wireless sync only works when I unlock phone. Is there a way to tell itunes my phones unlock code?

Wireless sync only works when I unlock phone. Is there a way to tell itunes my phones unlock code? Itunes tries to sync all night and posts 50 unknown errors. I unlock the phone and it syncs. I dont want my phone sitting around without a lock code but with wireless sync I cant find a place to tell itunes my code so it can sync? Any help is appreciated... Ray O

I have the same problem. I am forced to have a PIN set on my devices because I use my corporate exchange email and sync over wi-fi initially fails until I manually unlock the phone/ipad.  #ckuan needs to read the words wiritten.  We know how it's supposed to work but it won't start until you enter the PIN. Until then I get error messages saying either it cannot find the phone or explicitly telling me I need to unlock it.

  • Hd intel 4000 code 43 on windows 8.1 - It only works with an older driver version

Hi there I have an HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14 PC (HP Pavilion Ultrabook 14), with  a 18FA motherboard - version 82.23,  F.12 Bios, and a Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000.  The graphic card only works with the 9.17.10.2932 (12/12/2012) driver, and everytime I try to update to a newer driver version, it shows the "Code 43" error. Does anyone knows how to update the drive and solve the "Code 43" error? Without solving this issue, I can't install the Windows 10. I've tried to update to Windows 10, but it doesn't run this old graphic display driver and it only gives me a blue screen, and if I install a new driver version, there it comes the "Code 43" error. Thank you, guys.

  • Lack of modularity in Projects for EJB module

    Problem
For a project you have many enterprise bean components. In JDeveloper, currently, all the information like persistence-type,
resource-reference, etc reside in the ejb-jar.xml which is project specific.
    (1) In the real-world, developers work on different modules with small individual work spaces with a small number of
enterprise components and web compoents with a CVS system to manage version of the source code
    (2) The developer works on the source and check it in the CVS repository
    (3) A packager will take components from the CVS repository and make a build for a customer according to the order
    (Build-to-Order approach)
    (4) In JDeveloper he might have to make the ejb-jar.xml again which is very cumbersome and timeconsuming
    Suggestion
    (1) The current system of maintaining ejb-jar.xml in the project is OK
    (2) But the information in the ejb-jar xml ABOUT EACH EJB COMPONENT should also be maintained at the EJB component level like
a small ejb-jar.xml file specific to the one and only one component.
    (3) Whenever the EJB component id edited, this modular ejb-jar.xml file will be edited too.
    (4) Later while making the main ejb-jar xml for deployment, the info in these small modular xml files will be read, the main
project level ejb-jar xml will be prepared.
    (5) The main project level ejb-jar.xml can also be prepared when the project is rebuilt (clean/force compile) and all te
    small modular files are updated.
    With regards
    Amit

    Hello,
Yes we do read every OTN message, though we often have some internal discussion before we post a reply.
In your specific situation, you could just break up the EJBs into different projects:
    - Each EJB module in a separate project.
    - Each EJB project builds a separate EJB JAR.
    - When assembling the EAR, pull in as many EJB JAR files as necessary to support the WAR and other pieces.
JDeveloper already has support for the above setup. Starting with JDev 9.0.3, you can also establish dependencies between projects to make the classes built by one project visible to another project's classpath.
For us to implement a complete solution where small ejb-jar.xml files are merged into one large ejb-jar.xml file, we'd like to understand how you'd go about resolving conflicts in elements being merged:
    - conflicting <method-permission>
    - conflicting <container-transaction>
    - conflicting <relationship-role>
    - conflicting <env-entry>
    - ... a number of other potential conflicts ...
We could do automatic merges when there are no conflicts. For the situations where there are conflicts, can you describe some solutions that you would consider acceptable?

  • Errors when deploy a simple entity ejb module to oc4j 10g?

    I work as following steps:
    1. new project
    2. new Digram-->EJB Diagram
    3. Drag a Entity bean ico to Diagram and name it with Student, then add a id&name column to it.
    4 set the entity-ejb Student's Resource Reference's property: name(MysqlPool),ResourceType(com.mysql.jdbc.Driver),Authentification(Container)
(in oc4j, I have set the pool connection--MysqlPool)
    5 use command to start oc4j 10.1.3 in jdev10.1.3
6 In Jdeveloper IDE, select ejb-jar.xml and use right mouse button to call out the menu and then select "Cretae ejb or jar deploy profile", set the deploy platform to my oc4j connection.
7 select the deploy profile and deploy to my oc4j connection, then errors were reported as following:
    Target platform is Standalone OC4J 10.1.3 (AppServerConnection1).

what's the meaning about Error finding a suitable DataSource: Error looking up cmt-datasource at jdbc/OracleDS (name not found)?
    I didn't use jdbc/OracleDS Datasource, and I deleted it from config\data-source.xml.
Is it cause those errors or my operation rong?
Who can tell me the entity ejb's deploy method&step?

Yes, now I added a connection pool and a datasource in oc4j, and set the datasource's jndi name to "jdbc/OracleDS".For The connection pool,I use the mysql database.
Followed the above operation, I repeat the deployment and it deployed successfully.
Viewed by web-control-for-oc4j, I found jdeveloper automaticly created a datasource and pool for the ejb module. However, the datasource's parameter(connection-factory factory-class="oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource") is wrong.
So I open Tools Menu->Preferences menu and setted the Deploy property to "unbundle datasource...".Then I Created a file named data-sources.xml in project and filled out the correct properties.
After I deploied the ejb-module, I openned the deploied .ear file with winrar to view its contents.I found the factory-class property's value is still wrong which included in data-sources.xml file in Mata-Inf directory, but the property of the data-sources.xml file in .jar file is correct. So, the class factory value of the deploied ejb-application's connection pool still is "oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource".It couldn't work surely.
Of course, I can modity the data-sources.xml in .ear file.
But has some more better method to settle this problem while not manuelly?
