Codesign and zip

Hi,
I've been experiencing some difficulties in zipping signed code. If I use the cli codesign to sign a .pkg file I can verify the signature is OK. However, when I zip the same signed file in the cli and unzip it from the cli or the GUI's builtin Archiver, the signature gets broken. I need to be able to compress the signed files from a cli after signing without breaking the signature.
(Interesting to note, if I gzip the file then gunzip it, the file retains the signature. If I use the GUI archiver to do the "gunzip", the signature breaks.)
Thanks,
-Sean

  • Creating an XLS file and Zip it

    Hi All,
    we have a requirement where in we have to create an XLS file from internal table. This xls file then has to be zipped and mailed.
    If anyone knows how to create an xls file and zip it in WebDynpro, without using OPEN, CLOSE DATA SET etc, Please let us know. It will be of great help.
    Thanks,
    Anand

    >2) Convert the STRING format to XSTRING format by using the FM SCMS_STRING_TO_XSTRING.
    Actually you should use CL_BCS_CONVERT=>STRING_TO_XSTRING now.
    >3) Use the method COMPRESS_BINARY of class CL_ABAP_GZIP to compress the XSTRING file.
    You probably want to use CL_ABAP_ZIP instead of CL_ABAP_GZIP.  CL_ABAP_GZIP only does compression, which is fine for storing a single packet of data in the database.  However CL_ABAP_ZIP is better suited for mult-part zip (multiple inner files).
    >4) Use the method SEND_WEB_MAIL of class CL_HRRCF_SERVICES_MAIL to mail across the zipped contents.
    This seems to be an HR specific class. Better to use the cross application, NetWeaver provided functionality for sending mail - CL_BCS.

  • Website image and zip file download links not working in Dreamweaver Air application

    Hi
    I have successfully created and AIR app for an existing business website using the Dreamweaver AIR Extension. The site works very well in all respects except for the part where we have high resolution images and zip files available for download. The download links refuse to do anything, and right-click (PC) / ctl-click (Mac) does nto work either.
    I suspect this may be an AIR sandbox/security issue but am I correct and what can I do to fix it?
    Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to give.
    Martin

    I am now facing the same problem. I wrote a servlet .
    code like this
             response = (HttpServletResponse) faces.getExternalContext().getResponse();
             response.setContentType("application/x-download");
             String agent = request.getHeader("USER-AGENT");
             boolean isIE=false;
            if (null != agent && agent.indexOf("MSIE")!=-1) {
                isIE=true;
            if (isIE) {
                fileName = URLEncoder.encode(fileName, "UTF-8");
            } else {
                fileName = new String(fileName.getBytes("utf-8"), "ISO-8859-1");
            response.setHeader("Content-Disposition","attachment;filename="+fileName);
            ServletOutputStream os = response.getOutputStream();
            byte b[]=new byte[1024];
            int n;
            while((n=in.read(b))!=-1){
                os.write(b,0,n);
           in.close();
           os.close();
    and i open a new window refer to above jsp ,also i set a breakPoint at os.close(),the program has passed through,but nothing happened in the window.
    If i use IE or FF ,the browser will open a small window to allow me select whether open or  save the file.So can anybody give me some advice.Is it because air using webkit engine and the engine does not do this kind of job?
            Thanks.

  • Upload and ZIP a file (BLOB)

    Hi
    I am trying to upload a file and zip it before saving it to the table. I am using 3.2 and 11g. I know of UTL_COMPRESS but that's not the format I am looking for. I am looking for a .zip file . I also tried this solution (http://joelkallman.blogspot.com/2008/04/zip-it.html) but it is not working for me. when I run this process it takes a long time and finally is throwing a not responding error. I dont't know if it is the oracle 11g version that is causing this solution not to work. Please advice.
    This is the code I am running based on the above java proc in the link
    DECLARE
    l_blob BLOB;
    l_result INTEGER;
    n_field NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    SELECT MAX (id)
    INTO n_field
    FROM apex_application_files
    WHERE name = attachment_name;
    l_result := ESCRMGR.ziplobs ('SELECT id, blob_content FROM apex_application_files'||
    'WHERE id = n_feild',
    l_blob);

    Are you running add1file, and then finish_zip before inserting?I am doing this.
    Also, make sure you change the dbms_lob.append line in add1file to dbms_lob.copy (2nd last post in that other thread)I have made these changes teh very frist time I executed the procs.
    Does the PDF open after you download it from your table?Yes, I am able to open the PDF.
    But, as you mentioned mimetype may be the problem. While I am storing the file into my table, I am loading the output file from finish_zip, but I am storing the mimetype from the apex_application_files table. So, i am stroing PDF as my mime type. Then fro download I am using the followwing proc
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE ESCRMGR.download_my_file(p_file in number) AS
    v_mime VARCHAR2(48);
    v_length NUMBER;
    v_file_name VARCHAR2(2000);
    Lob_loc BLOB;
    BEGIN
    SELECT attachment_type, attachment,attachment_name ,DBMS_LOB.GETLENGTH(attachment)
    INTO v_mime,lob_loc,v_file_name,v_length
    FROM rs_attachments
    WHERE attachment_id = p_file;
    -- set up HTTP header
    -- use an NVL around the mime type and
    -- if it is a null set it to application/octect
    -- application/octect may launch a download window from windows
    owa_util.mime_header( nvl(v_mime,'application/octet'), FALSE );
    -- set the size so the browser knows how much to download
    htp.p('Content-length: ' || v_length);
    -- the filename will be used by the browser if the users does a save as
    htp.p('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="'||replace(replace(substr(v_file_name,instr(v_file_name,'/')+1),chr(10),null),chr(13),null)|| '"');
    -- close the headers
    owa_util.http_header_close;
    -- download the BLOB
    wpg_docload.download_file( Lob_loc );
    end download_my_file;
    So, from the above proc I understand that it is taking PDF as the mimetype and that is why it is not displaying as .ZIP
    correct me if I am wrong. I will try to work on this. But please let me know your inputs.

  • .dmg and. zip webpages will not load through all browsers so I cannot download from sites

    hi all,
    i have had this problem since i bought my Mac Book. When trying to load a .zip or a .dmg webpage, it will start loading the page and than stop. Without dispaying nothing only a white page. I wont show me any errors or nothing, just stop loading,
    I have upgraded to snow leopard maybe it will stop doing this but useless. I tried using Safari, Google Chrome and Mozilla and still the same.
    Please help
    Thanks folks

    thanks for the quick reply
    i tried everything you told me but its still not working. When i try and download its redirecting me as every download page should do, so that ok. But when the .dmg and .zip page will start loading it will stay blank and stop loading on.
    I checked the download folder and even the preferences and nothing is showing up. I think its more of a permission problem than from the browser since all browsers are doing this.
    I had Norton 2010 installed and was removed maybe it was the source of the problem but still.
    More help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Teo

  • Trojan .exe and zip.000 showing up in /private/tmp and private/var/folders

    I continually have .exe files and zip.000 files showing up inside two folders on my iMac. My antivirus software (Trend Micro Smart Surfing for Mac) finds and quaranteens them daily. Usually it is about six a day. Today it found 18 or so. I am not worried about them themselves since they are a windows problem, but I can't seem to figure out where they are coming from. Is there a way to track these folders and find what is placing these files in there? Thanks for any help!

    http://www.mac-and-i.net/2012/04/flashback-detect-and-remove-uprising.html
    In order to avoid detection, the installer will first look for the presence of some antivirus tools and other utilities that might be present on a power user's system, which according to F-Secure include the following:
    /Library/Little Snitch
    /Developer/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/MacOS/Xcode
    /Applications/VirusBarrier X6.app
    /Applications/iAntiVirus/iAntiVirus.app
    /Applications/avast!.app
    /Applications/ClamXav.app
    /Applications/HTTPScoop.app
    /Applications/Packet Peeper.app
    If these tools are found, then the malware deletes itself in an attempt to prevent detection by those who have the means and capability to do so. Many malware programs use this behavior, as was seen in others such as the Tsunami malware bot.

  • Help! My form which requires email and zip code is arriving without data. How is that possible?

    An HTML form design with Dreamweaver CS5 requires the zip code and email to be entered prior to Submitting the form. We tested the form prior to going live and it worked great. The Zip Code and Email are required entries. Today, we received our first completed form from a customer and it worked and looked great. The problem is ... we have also received two forms that are blank. No data results at all; no email or zip code either. I don't know how this can be. The form cannot Submit unless the email and zip code are present.
