  • Redondear con SQL

    Colegas,

    SELECT T0.[ItemCode], T0.[Price],  ROUND((T0.[Price]*1.16),0.50)/1.16
    FROM ITM1
    T0 WHERE T0.[PriceList] = '1' and T0.Price = $[INV1.PriceBefDi]
    Saludos!

  • Deployable cannot be retrieved from FILE_PROVIDER , stopping. Cause:com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (103) JCO_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or password is incorrect

    Hi All,
After two years of CTS+ working without issue, in the last fortnight JCO_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE has occurred. I have reviewed all the configuration  in document http://scn.sap.com/doc/DOC-30177, and it all looks fine. The user configured also checks out fine as well. The user id that is causing all the trouble is CTS_<SID>. We chose this option so we could determine which user in case of future issues. We have two development paths, Project and BAU. So at anyone time transports that have started in the BAU development system will need to be imported into the Project development system (using transport express) and vice versa.  Attached is the security authentication log from the system showing authentication failure. I have also checked the transport routes defined for the business systems in the SLD and these look fine as well. Roles assigned to the user are SAP_CTS_PLUS,
SAP_J2EE_ADMIN, SAP_XI_CMS_SERV_USER, SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR, SAP_XI_DEVELOPER, Z_CTS_PLUS_ADDITIONAL. I have also checked the permissions on the file at the operating system level.
Any suggestions/advice gratefully received as this really has me scratching my head.

  • Does SAP use SQL server's snapshot and transactional replication?

    Gurus:
    Could you help with this?
Does SAP use SQL server's snapshot and transactional replication?
    Thanks!

    Hi Christy,
no, SAP does not directly leverage these functions.
But none the less, it is up to you to use these on your system. I regulary use the snapshot functionality when applying Support Packages. In case somehing goes wrong a snapshot is the easiest way to roll back the import process (not exactly the best choice when talking about production and users keep on working while importing).
Have a look at this [document |http://download.microsoft.com/download/d/9/4/d948f981-926e-40fa-a026-5bfcf076d9b9/SAP_SQL2005_Best Practices.doc]. It deals with Best Practices and also covers snapshot, replication and mirroring.

  • Sybase SQL Anywhere 12 and SAP Sybase SQL Anywhere 16

    Hello,
Is there a difference between Sybase SQL Anywhere 12 and SAP Sybase SQL Anywhere 16?
If there is, could you please list out the general information. i.e. is v12 (i.e. pre SAP purchase of Sybase) just older than v16 (i.e. post SAP purchase of Sybase) ?
I know that Hyland's OnBase 14 supports both of these versions. Just having a difficult time trying to find information about Sybase SQLA v12 - if it is even still available for purchase, etc.
    Any information would be appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Christian Jones

SAP Sybase SQL Anywhere 16 is the next major version of SQL Anywhere after SQL Anywhere 12.
The following documentation link DocCommentXchange will include  information about the changes made for v16.  For information specific to v12, see DocCommentXchange which has links for both v12.0.0 and v12.0.1 documentation as I suspect that most of the marketing materials would be focused on v16.
Both v12 and v16 are available for sale. Here is a link SAP SQL Anywhere v16.0 | SAP Online Store
where you will purchase v12 and v16 software (look at the sidebar for the v12 links).

  • Do I need Management Data Warehouse for SAP on SQL?

    Hi experts,
I am reading Jonathan Kehayias's wait statistics guide and I see he talk about Management Data Warehouse. Should I use Management Data Warehouse in SAP on SQL environment? I see many monitor objects are already implemented in DBACockpit.

    Hi Dennis,
In case you have your SAP system on MSSQL, you can definitely use Management Data warehouse
    to streamline performance troubleshooting.
SQL Server 2008 Management Data Warehouse
    Hope this helps.

  • SAP and SQL Reporting Services.

    Hi,
I'm trying to implement a few reports using MS SQL Reporting Services.  I don't think that SAP (we are currently on 4.6C, and BW is not an option for now) has anything nearly as cool.  The problem is that SQL RS can only create queries against ODBC and OleDB providers.  One of the solutions would be to create a view in SAP DB and query against it, but the logic behind is just too complicated for a view that you can create in SAP.  Is there another way that I can interface SAP real time to SQL RS?  Anyone had experience with that, or is there a solution from SAP with similar capabilities?
    Thanks,
    Leon

    Hi Leon,
maybe you can use the SAP.NET Connector and save the results in SQL-SERVER-Tables or use the OLEDB Provider for SAP from NSX software.
    Greetings,
    Andreas Rohr

  • Connectivity between SAP and SQL Server

how to take the SAP data which is in Oracle database on AIX Operating system to SQL Server database which resides in Windows for a portal?
    Can anyone help on this?
    Regards,

    HEllo,
    Hi
    Please see the following:
    1. Create an entry in Trxn DBCA for SQL Server in SAP, you are creating a database connection for the SQL server in SAP.
    2. You use this connection, and write Native SQL stmnts...between EXECSQL...ENDEXEC to fetch the data..and then normal ABAP statements to put that data into your ztable.
TABLE DBCON Entry can be like this...depends on your External database..
CON_NAME Raj Logical name for connection
    DBMS MSS Microsoft SQL Server
    USER_NAME <User name> For SQL Server
    PASSWORD <password> " "
    CON_ENV MSSQL_SERVER=<server> MSSQL_DBNAME=<database name>

  • Install Mini SAP and SQL 2005

    Hi there,
I hope someone can help me with the question.
I’ve bought the ABAP objects book called “An Introduction to Programming SAP Applications” from Horst Keller and Sascha Kruger (black color). There are 2 CD's to install the application Mini Basis SAP and work with the ABAP workbench. I was able to install that on a pc Win2000 and it worked and that pc had no sql server/database installed
But I've now another pc Windows XP and has has SQL 2005 Dev edition. I need to keep this.
My problem is when I try to install the Mini Basis I get error. Is it because of I’ve already installed the Ms SQL 2005 dev edition?
I’m using Windows XP prof edition. How can I install on XP pro this software on my pc keeping the SQL 2005?
I have tried resume_setup.bat and also enabled remote_services for the registry update. no hope.
    Can someone please help?
    Cheers, mesut
Book reference: ISBN 0-201-75080-5  (SAP Press)

    Hi Sravan,
That's exactly what I did. I bought the book and I try install on Win XP pro with SQL 2005 dev edition pre-installed.
I'm in possession of the Mini SAP, I own the book. I also looked at the site you suggested
    http://www.sap-img.com/mini-sap.htm.
It seems to be I should be able to install on WIN XP pro due to the site above.
    This is how a work
    1) CD 1 starts with home page
    2) I choose REsume (because I have already pre-installed the SQL 2005)
    3) Setup starts
    4) asks me which directory, it proposes C:\MBS  -- I accept
    5) It asks me where is the DATA and the KERNEL CD --- it proposes D: ---I accept
    6) at the mean time I click on switch view and I see the logs and this is finally I get (I just copy/paste below the errors no the whole log)
So I don't know how to proceed further. I contacted SAP and they propose me this forums.
    Could you please advice?
    thanks mesut

  • SAP and SQL DB13 Issues

I am experiencing issues with DB13.
In Calendar Scheduled backup Jobs showing red when job is running and not dark blue, job does go green when finished. Some times it will just stay red even though in SQL it reported a success.
    Any help would be grateful
    Running SQL 2005 SP3, Windows Server 2003 X64, SAP ECC 6.0,

    Hi David,
Some times it will just stay red even though in SQL it reported a success.
It wont happen.Once it turned to red means, its already failed. No need to expect it will turn in to green.
Check the log once again.Double click that entry (red) you will get the log.
While backup is running, you can observe light orenge at your schedule date.If that backup success it will turn in to green and if that backup fails it become red.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Nagendra.

We have a requirement in which we have to extract selection fields from Material master, material BOM's, Process orders, material selling prices, etc.. from our SAP system ( runs on SQL DB )and send it to a non-SAP SQL db.  Our non-SAP IT staff wants to copy the tables at the DB level, but our SAP resources suggest that a program be written to do the extract. Kindly advice which is the best and recommended option. The data has to be sent periodically.

It is always not a good practice to access the base tables directly for any reason. You can either write a program or research on SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and identify OLE DB drivers to connect to SAP System. I know you can connect to SAP BW from SSIS using SAP BW OLE DB Driver. You can also connect to SAP System from .NET applications. I hope this information helps you.

  • Integration Kit for SAP - Open SQL access to tables. List incomplete.

After we install the BO integration kit for SAP and CR 2008 we were able to connect to SAP and open SAP Data Dictionnary tables (Open SQL access).
    I have a problem however:
when I display the list of available tables, the is not showing all the tables in the SAP system. I believe it stops at some point.
I see all tables with low letters or starting with /BIC...
I have custom tables with names ranging from ZR1 to ZR5.
Of these I only see tables up to ZR2*.
    My guess is :
either that the table list displayed is limited to a certain mumber of tables
or that there are some authorisations issues to be solved to view all tables (but the same SAP User sees all tables in SE11)
or there is a table related setting in the Data dictionnary that makes some tables visible by CR and other not
Thanks in advance for any answer.

correct - it stops at one point because showing you more than 30.000 tables doesn't really help. Right click on your connection (server entry), select the menu options, there is an entry called Table name like. in your case enter Z% and hit F5 for a refresh and you will only get tables shown starting with Z
