Collections ignoring rows that were not updated

Hello all,
I have a report based on a collection. Within this report is an lov which a user can assign a value to the record. However, the user does not have to update all the records before saving. Based on the collection samples I have seen, there seems to be an assumption that all records will be updated. I am having difficulty trying to update only the rows in the collection that the user entered a value for.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The challenge is in determining WHICH rows were changed, which is why most uses of collections simply re-write everything. It's ultimately faster and easier to code and performs better. Why? Because otherwise the update procedure has to go back and compare every field in every row (or create some checksum algorithm) to the original to determine if a change took place. It can be done, but I would advise that you look up information on MD5 checksums. There isn't anything inherent in the application that will tell you this, and certainly nothing inside the collection.
You could, I suppose, create a hidden field and use a JavaScript onChange event to set a flag in that hidden field to indicate a changed record. Then you'd have to use those values to determine if something had changed and only loop through those values...

You should get your keyboard checked as it's repeating on a lot of keys and makes you look silly.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

Random selection of rows from a 2D array then subset both the rows that were selected and those that were not. Please see message below.

For example, I have a 2D array with 46 rows and 400 columns. I would like to randomly select 46 data rows from the 2D array. By doing the random selection it means that not all individual 46 rows will be selected some rows may appear more than once as there may be some duplicates or triplicates in the random selection. The importan thing is that we will have randomly selected 46 rows of data (no matter that some rows appear more than once). Then I would like to subset these randomly selected 46 data rows (some which will be duplicated, or triplicated, etc.) and then also find and subset the rows that were not selected. Does this make sense? Then i would like to do this say 10 times for this data set. So that then I will have 2 by 10 data sets: the first 10 each with 46 rows and the other 10 with n rows depending on how many WERE NOT randomly selected. i hope that my explanation is clear. I am relatively new to Labview. It is really great so I am getting better! If anyone can help me with this problems it will be great. RVR

Start by generating randon #s between 0 and 45. Run a for loop X times and in it use the random function, multiply the result by X and round down (-infinity). You can make this into a subVI, which you can reuse later. In the same loop, or in a different one, use Index Array to extract the rows which were selected (wiring the result out of the loop with auto indexing causes it to be rebuilt into a 2D array).
One possible solution for the second part would be to go over the array of randomly generated numbers in a for loop and use Search 1D Array to find each of the numbers (i). If you get -1, it means the row wasn't selected and you can extract it.

Adobe acrobat has recovered one or more documents that were not saved properly

Hello,
I am getting the following error and cant seem to fins anything about it anywhere
"Adobe acrobat has recovered one or more documents that were not saved properly before Acrobat was shut down click yes to open the recovered document click no your changes will be lost. "
This comes up numerous times a day. Does anyone have any idea to what it might be related to? Some seting? Looking for a direction to troubleshoot.
Running Acrobat X standard, fully updated, Windows 7.

Same problem.
Clicking yes or no does not stop the pop up to come over and over again.
Copied the file "unsaved", renamed it and deleted the "unsaved" one.
No success, pop up with message Adobe acrobat has recovered one or more documents that were not saved properly continues
It is very disturbing when working with tough deadlines

"Photos have been found in iPhoto library that were not imported" .. There's no Import Folder to delete

Please read the entire post prior to giving a response.
Our 2011 MBP has had this problem for a while. 15 photos have been found in iPhoto library that were not imported (twice .. every time). I've seen several posts that all have the same answer .. find the import folder in iPhoto, remove it and all will be fine with the world. Some say, it's importing folder, some say auto import folder, but all say it's a folder. Problem is, there is no such folder. I've looked throughout the computer .. applications, iPhoto, right click to show package contents, searched and searched .. nada. NO such folder exists. There are quite a number of files labeled "ImportPanels.nib" and "SelectiveImport.nib" all under "Other". There are also a number of import.tiff files with various names under "Preview". But NO folder with IMPORT in the name.
So, how do I get rid of the never ending 15 photos have been found in iPhoto library that were not imported? Help that doesn't repeat what's already been noted above in other posts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
(BTW .. it has Mavericks installed and everything is currently updated.)

I have no idea where you are looking. I have nothing even similar to that. When I go to Finder and click on Applications and then right click iPhoto (not iPhoto Library .. I have nothing with that name) and click on Show Package Contents, I have just one folder "Contents". That opens to _CodeSignature, _MASReceipt, Frameworks, Library, MacOS, Plugins, Recurces and XPCServices .. no other folder exist.
(I have show .. iMovie, iMovie 9.0.9, iPhoto, iTunes, iWork '09, Keynote, etc .. No iPhoto Library Folder is listed.)
If I go to Launchpad and right click the iPhoto icon, it opens iPhoto. You say not the application, but I have no idea were else to find this other than Finder which is only the iPhoto application and the icon in Launchpad and the Dock.
When I click the Library folder, the only folder is Loginterms which opens to iCloud Photos.
There isn't any folder names Auto Import or anything close. Searches don't help as they only find files, not folder names.
In your picture, it shows iPhoto Library as the header .. mine never shows that, it's always the folder name.

Error while TRANSFER System is trying to write data that were not locked

Hi Everybody,
I am encountering a Error Msg when i try to TRANSFER plan values .The Error masg is
"System is trying to write data that were not locked".
I never got this msg before. I checked my Planning query, it looks fine. I have the cells in Blue but couldn't change values or create new records.
I have the locks set up in RSPLSE too.
I am on BI-7 IP SP12.

I was able to replicate the issue in your system.
Please implement the note 1153756 in your system.
1153756 : Template: BI 7.0 (SP18) / BI 7.1 SPS06
This note will solve your issue.
If the issue still persists then , please try using a blank value for
RSADMIN parameter RSPLS_DATA_CHECK_WRITE = X.
This parameter triggers some 'extra' checks.
Using a blank value should avoid these error message which you are
getting.

AD Connector: USR_UDF_OBGUID and UD_ADUS were not updated...

Hi,
During the installation of the AD Connector the USR_UDF_OBGUID is created, ok? Is this field updated when the AD User Target is performed? I've run the task and the resources were created but that field was not update for no one of the OIM accounts. But, for the record created in the UD_ADUSER table, the UD_ADUSER_OBJECTGUID field was filled correctly.
Also, I've provisioined an AD User for a user and the USR_UDF_OBGUID and UD_ADUSER_OBJECTGUID fields were not updated. Even so, the resource was provisioned and its status is Provisioned. I checked the tasks that were triggred by the process:
Create User: Complete
Get Object Guid: Complete (but there is not a task result)
Password Never expires Updated: Complete
System Validation: Complete
User must change password at next logon updated: Complete
Account Expiration Date UPdated: Complete
ExecuteRemoteScript: Pending
Telephone Number Updated: Rejected (I was testing attribute update but it failed because the object was not found. I think the problem is because the UD_ADUSER_OBJECTGUID was not updated when the Get Object Guid task was performed).
Any ideas?

That is the problem...
When I installed the connector I didn't get any error and I get a message the connector was installed ok. I think I will reinstall it.

How to find BEx queries that were not used along with no of times executed

Hi SDN,
I need build a query which shows the BEx reports that were not used and also the number times the query was executed.
I built the query on "multiprovider 0TCT_MC01" in which I used the KF "0TCTQUCOUNT" then the query is not capturing this information, while executing from Portal. ( as stated in /thread/716593 [original link is broken]).
If anybosy happen to know the solution please share.

Is there any infoobject which has the exact functionality as of the "0TCTNAVCTR" of 0BWTC_C02 (we can not use 0BWTC_C02 as we are in BW 7 SP16).

With F110 transaction i'm printing Payment summary and Remittance form by using YDFI_RFFOEDI1 ( Copy of RFFOEDI1)
Program variant.
Spool is generating Payment summary and Remittance form along with Error log as below.
Program YDFI_RFFOEDI1: No records selected
The following payment documents/payment orders were not updated
(Result of the payment document update)
CoCd Payment document/Payment order
1019 F110000001
The accompanying payment media have not been generated
YDFI_RFFOEDI1 Program variant is having Generate SAP Idoc check box as unchecked under Print control tab.

How do I recover photos that were NOT backed up from ipod touch 4th generation?

I have a iPod Touch (4TH Genration). It was frozen for two days straight on the apple logo. I kept holding the two keys and tried to connect it to itunes and it wouldn't budge. On the third day I conected it to itunes, and it told me that it nedded to be restored and that my photos would be backed up. Now here I am with a funny acting ipod and NO photos!
Does anyone know how to get photos that were not backed up?

1. Yes, if both drives are formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
2. Reformat the drives if needed, open the Time Machine pane of System Preferences, and remove the drive with the pictures from the list of items set to be excluded.

You can only delete them one at a time on the iPad. If you have an IMAP email account, go to your email in on the server using a web browser and select as many as you can at a time and delete them that way. That action will be reflected on the iPad. In IMAP - whatever you do on one device syncs across all devices. If you have POP email - start deleting one at a time.

Consider using sshfs to mount your Pi from your Linux boxes. It's much easier to configure and manage than samba. It sounds like you already have your Windows machines mounting your Pi so Samba is doing its job in that respect.

To help get you off the dime, here's a modified line from my fstab that I use to mount my Pi with:
gav@PI:/mnt/backup /mnt/rpi/backup fuse.sshfs rw,relatime,user_id=0,group_id=0,allow_other 0 0
Subsitute my mount points with yours.
For a password-less mount:
ssh-copy-id gav@PI
after you've set up ssh and generated some keys on your client box.
Here are some relevant lines from the smb.conf file on my Pi that I use for my one Windows box in the house that might help you with your write permissions:

You should be able to accept this message, it will cause existing music, photos (not camera roll) and videos (also excluding those in camera roll) to be removed and replaced with those from this computer. All other user data on the iPad will be unaffected.

In I06, I have no way of knowing which songs are on my iphone 4s vs being stored in the cloud. There used to be a small cloud next to songs that were not downloaded. This was important to make sure I had the music I wanted when in an airplane.
