Column Sort image display permanent

By default adf table column sorting image is displayed on mouse hover.
I need to display sort images permanently with the column name.
How can I do it? Please help.
Thanks,

Hi,
Use sortable="true" for relevant Column and define sortProperty.
<af:column sortProperty="NodeSubsidiaryType" sortable="true"
                         headerText="Header" id="c14" width="40">
                <af:outputText value="#{row.field}" id="ot12"/>
</af:column>

  • Embedded images disappear on column sorts when viewing SSRS via url in an iframe

    RE:   SQL Server - 2008 R2  Reporting Services
    We deliver an ASP.Net MVC (5) application and some of the views show/display SSRS report via url in an iframe (so the report is displayed vi the web viewer).   There are images in the header of some of these reports which display correctly on the initial
    view, but "disappear" when the user uses a report column sort and/or changes the report zoom (via the SSRS web viewer toolbar). There are other quirky behaviors as well (depending on the browser), but we are dealing with IE versions 8 thru 11.  I've
    already set the ReportViewer.aspx to use <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7">, and our application pages/views use <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">.
    Does anyone have a "fix" for this? I know it's related to the ReportViewer.aspx and displaying the report(s) in an iframe, but I can't seem to find any information on how to fix the issue.

    Hi,
    According to your description, when you preview report through url in an iframe, the embed images can be displayed, images can’t be displayed after users used sort and changed report zoom.
    To troubleshoot the problem, please refer to the following steps:
    Run the report in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) to make sure that the images can be displayed correctly.
    The issue may be relevant to compatibility of browser, please use different browser to check whether the issue persists.
    If you are using embedded image of jpg type, please change the extension of the image to png.
    Set the ReportViewer.aspx to use <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8">.

  • Image content type in Site Asset Image library: The Preview and Thumbnail Preview columns do not display the picture of the item.

    I have two different Site Asset libraries.  The Site Asset Picture library has items of
    content type picture.  The Site Asset Image Library has items of
    content type image.
    1) I do not quite understand the different between a picture content type versus an image content type.
    2) the thumbnail and preview columns do not display the image in the Site Asset
    Image Library.  (the image does display in the thumbnail column of the Site Asset Picture library.)  I expected the image to display in the Site Asset Image Library the same as it does in the Site Asset Picture library.
    Why doesn't it?

    I have subsequently found out that our "Site Asset Images" library is a Document Library to which someone must have replaced the Document content type with an Image content type.  I also found out that picture previews/thumbnails cannot be displayed
    in Document libraries.  So the problem was the library type, not the content type.
    So I simply created a new Picture Library (whose content type = picture) and copied the files into that and the thumbnails displayed just fine!
    I bet what led to this is the default "Site Assets" library that is created for a new Team site.  It is just a document library but sounds very similar to the "Assets" library.  I can imagine someone thinking the "Site Assets" library was a standard
    container for images, and simply changed the name to better identify the content!
    As far as 'image' vs 'picture' content types, I noticed that a new Picture Library contains a content type of 'picture', but an Asset Library contains a content type of 'image' (as well as audio and video).  Although the 'image' content type has a few
    more fields than the 'picture' content type (picture content type does not have thumbnail), the actual Picture Library contains pretty much all the same fields, including the thumbnail.  So for all practical purposes, either library type can be used for
    storage of pictures.  I am guessing that the Pictures Library which uses the picture content type is for backwards compatibility purposes, and that the 'image' content type is newer, being derived from the new "Rich Media Asset" content type and used
    in the new Asset Library which can hold audio and video in addition to pictures.
    Microsoft Help also mentioned that a Picture Library has a slide view which an Asset library does not.  So my take on that is that if you want the potential of seeing your pictures as a slide show, put them in a Picture library which is still using
    the 'picture' content type of previous SharePoint versions.  If you want to keep pictures organized with audio/video files, then put them into an Asset library which uses the  'image' content type derived from the new Rich Media Asset content type.

  • Lightroom permanent crash - no images displayed whatsoever

    Hi all,
    I use the 64-bit Lightroom 2.0 on a Vista Business machine. Today, I was importing some images and since the import finished I cannot get any images in my library to display. There are simply blank panels where images should be (in all modules, in import screen, everywhere). The panels display all the relevant icons, tags and stuff, but there is absolutely no image displayed.
    I have tried the following:
    - repair reinstall
    - uninstall + reinstall
    - delete settings file
    - create new catalog
    - optimize catalog
    None of the above changes anything. The only thing I have not tried is rebooting after uninstalling and then reinstalling Lightroom.
    I have not found any relevant information to this particulary nasty problem, not on Google and here on these forums. Can anybody help me restore the functionality of Lightroom? Has anybody ever even encountered this problem?
    Thanks!

    As indicated in post #3, I already tried that. The previews are reconstructed (I can even observe the panels changing as previews are built) and the previews folder does contain valid files (the files contain image data that can be opened with an image browser).
    I have now also tried:
    - running in Admin mode
    - upgrading to 2.3RC
    - uninstalling and reinstalling
    - uninstalling and killing all relevant entries in the Registry and then reinstalling
    - using a catalog made on 1.2 and converting it to 2.x
    Nothing works.
    UPDATE: OK NOW I GOT IT! It was the color profile! I used the Vista Color Management thing, killed all profiles and used some default sRGB profile and restarted Lightroom. It started working right away. Apparently my custom profiles made with a Spyder were somehow erased and lost. A big thanks goes to Kenneth Daves and all you guys for helping me out.
    I had it at the back of my mind to try the profiles too. Since no reinstall helped I did foresee the possibility that something else on the system went bust. I couldn't do a System Restore (too many re-installs, used up all my restore points), so I was going to try first the color management thing and then some installing in safe mode (to perhaps kill any locks on DLL files that might be faulty). I would have also tried installing v1.2, but it would probably behave in the same manner.
    Thanks again guys!

  • Interactive Report wide Column Sorting hangs in Internet Explorer

    I have an application that contains an interactive report. The Column Sorting and Filtering functions work fine in Firefox. However, if I try to sort a wide (110 byte - it contains a hyperlink) column in Internet Explorer, APEX produces the 'loading data' image and then hangs. Even a sort of a narrow (3 byte) column is noticeably slower in Internet Explorer than in Firefox.

  • Issue Action links,Column sorting in OBIEE(11g) 11.1.1.7.0

    Hello everyone,
    I want to provide the feature column sorting to my users but i dont want to provide any feature to users when they click on right mouse button.When we click on right mouse in action link column value it is giving the "action links","include/exclude columns" options etc.
    I disabled the do not display the action link report name in the column properties.
    Also disable the  include/exclude columns options in the interaction XYZ properties of the view.
    But still i am not able to understand why these links are coming when i run the report from the dashboard.
    Please help me out here.

    Hi Timo,
    I am using data control web services to get these attributes on to the jspx page. The table has the value property which is binding to the iterator( #{bindings.SUMMARY_LINES_ITEM.collectionModel}).
    The table has various coulmns like order no, status, request and so on..where Order no and status are converted to a cmd link which navigates to another page on a query.
    I don't understand how setting sorting to true in one of the columns can make it not found in the iterator! And I get the errors only if sorting is done first before querying(clicking on one of the values in a column to navigate to another page).
    Thanks,
    Sue

  • Sorting images mislabeled in Report Attributes?

    I added some custom images in the Sorting section of the Report Attributes. When I ran the report the images displayed were opposite of what I expected (i.e. the descending image displayed for an ascending sort and vice versa.) Upon further investigation it appears that the labels in the Sorting section are indeed reversed. The descending image is displayed when the sort order is ascending and vice versa. Is this a bug?

    Erik,
    Thanks, this explains it. By specifying the request as part of your URL you run into the recently uncovered issue. The request you're setting is REMFROMLIST and ADD2LIST. You probably either have links that include those requests or you have branches where you specify them. Either way, in order to get reports sorting to work, you'll have to make sure that the request strings are not part of your URL. This is a work-around and the upcoming HTML DB patch release will solve this issue.
    One way of avoiding this is to have computations on the previous pages that set a napplication level or page level item to the REMFROMLIST and ADD2LIST values and then you can use those items for your conditions that are currently evaluating those strings.
    Hope this helps and sorry for the inconvenience,
    Marc

  • Is there a way to turn the pattern matching example in Labview to instead of loading a rectangle around what you want the template to be you can use an image display , I've be trying and can get no where with it

    What I want to do is , have two images on image displays and the pass them through the same setup as the pattern matching example to get the number of matches , I have attached what I have done and also given the pattern matching example program as well.
    Hope to get answers back soon,

    Hi there!
    The example used can be adapted for comparing two images, however the algorithm and coding for finding the differences is more specific to your actual problem. In terms of the loading and displaying of the images, this can be done in the same way.
    Once you have some sort of algorithm, then you can automate the learning and matching by simply wiring them in order. (in the example, these are put in case structures as they are waiting on response from the front panel)
    I hope that this helps,

  • How to make new column of Interactive Report permanent

    Hi,
    after changing the query of an interactive report (adding a new column) you have to add the column from the Actions Menu -> Select Columns function of the report.
    But this change isn't permanent. After i logout and login again, or a user goes to the specified report, the column isn't visible.
    Is it possible to make this permanent, because the only solution i have found it to recreate the report, which is not a good idea.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    Login to Apex builder. Run page where you have IR.
    Select columns you like display. Then from action menu save report default layout.

  • Customizing column sorting in new jsf table

    The new JSF table in the creator 2 is great. I like it. It includes so many out of the box features. It is the reason we use the creator for our current project.
    But I cannot figure out how to customize the column sorting.
    Why do I need column sorting?
    I need to sort a column that can include ad IP address or a host name. Our customer can either use a host name or an IP address to address a device in the network, both in the same column.
    Now sorting an IP address is already difficult. It is actually a sort over a 4 byte number. Sorting over host names is normal alphabetic string sorting.
    How to sort over both in the same column?
    This cannot be done using standard sorting. I need to use a validator or something similar to customize the sorting of this column.
    Can anybody help me with a hint if:
    1- Customizing sorting over a column is possible. (I really would like to keep all other sorting features (icons, multi column support...)).
    2- A hint or code sample, how to do this.
    If this is not possible, I urge the creator team to think of implementing this soon. Otherwise one killer feature of the creator 2 will lose a lot of its teeth.

    Thx mayagiri for your reply!
    But including the src-code for the dataprovider package into a test project, and debugging in the creator-ide has done the thing!
    Here our solution:

  • Table layout and image display problems

    Im having a few problems at the moment, designing a layout
    using tables. I need to have 3 seperate tables, 1 for the left
    side, 1 for middle and 1 for the right. However I can only get the
    left and middle table on the same row, after that the right table
    jumps down to the next row.
    My second problem is with some images displaying in the
    preview. 3 images wont display, they are the same extension (.jpg),
    in the same folder as the rest but unlike the others wont display.
    I can swap them out for other images which display fine so I cant
    understand why they arent showing.
    Any help would be most appreciated.

    Use a three column, 1 row table, and put one of your tables
    into each of the
    three cells.

    Show us the page, please.

  • Sort Images by average luminance -- possible?  Hints?

    Another edition of "Not that I know of".  :-)
    Is there any way to sort Images in Aperture by average luminance?
    Is there any way to determine the average luminance and save this to a custom metadata field?
    Bonus: hue?
    NB: using the Preview to determine average luminance or hue is OK by me  .
    Thanks in advance.

    Looks like with the current tools in Aperture there is no way to do this. You might want to look and see if there is any third party apps  but I'm not hopeful.
    I haven't found anything.  There is the app I mentioned in the similar thread in the OS X Dev forum:  CF/X Photo Mosaic.  It (surprisingly quickly!) creates a database of the images that will be used as tesserae in the making of photo mosaic, and allows the user to sort the image database by average color or average luminance.  I've asked their input.  There is no way to export the database, or — afaict — to use any of the information outside the program itself.
    Here's a screengrab from the manual showing images in the Photo Mosaic database with each image's average hue and average luminance displayed as a sample tile and a hex ordinal.  The luminance scale is 1 to 256 (in hex).  I'm not sure what the hue scale is (I guess it's 16 million).

      One of the new systems strengths is reported to be the ability to write extensions for the core image engine more easily then the current state of writing a plugin for Aperture. Perhaps something will get written then.
    We'll see.  I am holding my breath.

  • Sort images

    Hi All
        I added sort functionality to the Table. But I have images in one of the column of the Table.
    So If i give sort function to the Image column, it is going to the dump.
      That's why I like to catch the image column when user trying to sort, inside I have different no's for all images, sorting those numbers, then representing images in the same order.
    how can I do this?
       Please help me how to resolve this probem.
      Thanks you all..
    Rama.

    Hi Rama,
    Please create the ONSORT event for the table.
    If there is only one column with images, you will only get an error if that column is sorted. Catch the error using a try catch statement:
    TRY.
    // code......
    CATCH <your exception).
    // If the exception is raised, sort the internal table yourself in here..
    ENDCATCH.
    I think this is what you mean, ofcourse this is not a good solution, you should try to find out why it gives a dump in the first place.
    Good luck!

  • Auto sort in display:table?

    Hi, I hope im in the right forum... Here is my question, can I auto sort a display:table tag? Or can I call the sorting of a table without clicking tha table name? Thx...

    For calculating column level total, you can get the handle to the row that you have tabbed out. Check the following code
    In CO
    else if ("calculate".equals(pageContext.getParameter(OAWebBeanConstants.EVENT_PARAM))){
    //get the Unique Row Reference for the Row on which the Even has been
    //generated.
    String lineRefId = (String)pageContext.getParameter(OAWebBeanConstants.EVENT_SOURCE_ROW_REFERENCE);
    Serializable [] param={lineRefId};
    //Call the AM method deleteInvoiceLine to delete the Invoice Lines
    am.invokeMethod("calculate",param);
    IN AM
    public void calculate(String lineRefId){
    //Fid the VORowImpl using the Unique Row
    // Reference
    LineVORowImpl lineRow = (LineVORowImpl)findRowByRef(lineRefId);
    //Now you can get the various attributes of this row
    xxx= lineRow.getXXX(); //Please take care of the Type casting
    yyy=lineRow.getYYY(); //Please take care of the Type casting
    //do the calculations and then set the values for the respective attributes.
    lineRow.setZZZ(abc);
    }
