Comapre numbers with decimal
Hi,
I am using CP 5 advanced actions - conditional actions, trying to show the less number in the caption. However, seems CP assumes that a number with decimal is less than the number itself. For example, we have 5875.198.148 and 5875, then 5875.198.148 will be taken as the less number.

I just checked this and for me the condition is evaluated correctly. Could you post perhaps a screenshot of your advanced action? This was my work flow:
created two user variables, one with a decimal value, the other with the same value but only the integer
had two rectangles, initially invisible, one for correct result, one for incorrect
on entering the slide I triggered a condition to compare the variables and show the appropriate rectangle; all worked fine
Just a tip: try if it works if you put the values themselves in the condition, like IF 15.5 is greater than 15
BTW: you seem to have two decimal points? That will not work, I suspect this will not be treated as a value because it isn't a value

I would like to have my outline follow a numbering pattern similar to the below example. ( I am using arrows to show the indents)

I am unable to achieve this by using numbers or tiered numbers in the list tab in the inspector. It won't let me start with a number containing a decimal.
Can I hard code the numbers in the outline or start with decimal number a different way? Or am I stuck manually creating and formatting the outline.

How to use Time Format with decimal to calculate races cars. ss,ddd ?
In excell there are a user defined format MM:SS.000 very convenient to use in races with decimal precision.
So in a race car we can have lap times like
Car 1 - 1:23.234
Car 2 - 1:23.132
so the diference can be calculate and the result is 0.102.
But in NUMBERS therer are no way to use with this precision.

I'm not sure if I understood you, but you can try doing this.
Create a variable for 0calyear. The user will input the year.
In the report you use this:
0calmonth - NumberOfEmployeesKF
If the user enters 2008, then it will show:
01.2008 - nnn
02.2008 - xxx
03.2008 - zzz

If so, where are each of you syncing contacts? A supported application on the computer? iCloud or another cloud service? An Exchange server?

How to avoid zeros in output for a field with Decimal type

In a Report one output field is declared with decimal type.
Whenver that field is not filled with any values zeros will be displayed in the output.
I tried to change the data type to char but i am facing some issues in calculations and shwoing only 2 decimal places.

If required field type is declared as type p decimals 2 , if for that field in internal table there is no value - then automatically output will get display in ALV as 0.00.
To remove 0.00 in the output screen and to be displayed in blank then in the field catalogue add wa_fieldcat-no_zero = 'X'. in that particular field. then if no value for that field then it will display space in the output.

I'm having a problem with decimal.
I have a alv data grid that can be edited.Once I press enter the value for the decimal fields are changed.
Example: If i input 5.00 in the field then I press enter it converts it to 0.05
And If I input 2.01 in the field it shows an error Too many decimal places(Maximum 0)

Can you check my code. I've tried changing the data types of my internal table and my output is stll same when I press enter.

I have one problem with decimal points.
I need to change in my out put cuurency values as per japan or korea standards.

This is pretty basic, whenever you've currency & quantity fields you need to pass the corres. reference fields.
In your case you need to populate the cfieldname & ctabname fields of the FieldCat.

I am creating a list of words with special characters in some of them. I get to a point where I cannot enter data directly into the cell. I have to use the data entry bar at the top in the toolbar. Any solutions available?
This is the table I am creating...
From row 25 on, I am only able to enter data into the cell through the toolbar at the top and not directly into the cell itself. I believe that this problem originates from the special characters I have inserted in the previous records because if I do not use special characters, then the spreadsheet acts flawlessly. Have there been issues in Numbers with data entry, the size of a table, and using special characters?I would try removing the rows with "special" characters one at a time to see which one is causing the problem

(due date - report date) > 3
This formula will have the value 1 if it's true, and 0 if false. Then, remove zeroes in your query.
If due date and report date are chars, just create 2 formulas variables. -
Smartforms - dealing with decimal and thousand separators
Hi,
trying to reuse one of the standard SAP Smartforms - LB_BIL_INVOICE in an ECC 6.0 Unicode system I faced a problem with decimal and thousand separators for currency/quantity fields. In fact, default settings in User profile are not taken in consideration when printing this form. I have changed all the possible settings in the user profife and (after logoff/logon) nothing changes in my output.
Just to be sure I tried to output the invoice with the original SAP smartform LB_BIL_INVOICE and the things were the same - means output takes wrong settings for decimal/thousand separators.
For clarity I created a simple form with a single currency field and everything behaves well as expected. So this points me to the direction fo find out what is wrong with the LB_BIL_INVOICE. I downloaded the form into XML and checked the code, further uploaded it into a new one - no success.
My question is:
Is there a way to manipulate or overwrite default settings for decimal/thousand separators within smartform, and if yes - how to do this?
I almost finished my quite complex form and wouldn't like to rewrite it from scratch.
FYI: I'm not a Smartform expert, by have created/overwiten more than 15 different forms accros different systems - 4.6 C/D, 4.7, ECC 6.0 non-Unicode/Unicode, and never faced such an issue.
I faced significant smartform 'improvement' in the ECC 6.0 release - especialy for text elements. The new integrated MS word control gives me a lot of throubles. According to this - is there an up-to-date documentation (even link to SAP course is acceptable) according to Smartform development in ECC 6.0?

I took a quick glance into the print program, and the print program do a set country setting to reciving country. This will give you the separators that are confugured for this country.
But if you change the print program and clear parameter country, the smartform will use the users settings instead.

when i have a contact in iphone and i add more mobile numbers than just one, they do not pass through to outlook 2007. i realize this is because there is no room in outlook for more than 2 (if i remember correct) mobile numbers,but is there a workaround?I've got the same problem but with a "4 number" limit. Many of my outlook contacts have more than 4 numbers associated with them but the iPhone contacts app only shows/syncs 4 numbers. Any way to increase this limit on the iphone?

PRAA - Personnel numbers with already existing Vendor master record

We are using tcode PRAA to create vendor master, we notice some employees did not get converted to FK02 with the message "Personnel numbers with already existing Vendor master record". I checked FK02/FK03, but i didn't see any employee/vendor code there, I also checked vendor table, it is not there. why the system prompts me personnel numbers exist?

Just go to the table LFB1 and put in the field PERNR that you are trying to create.
If is created just put the transaction on modify instead of create.(if you want to change).
And is better to see the vendor in tansaction XK03. -
SQL Loader with decimal commas
Dear All,
I am loading data for a German client and the delivered files contain numeric data with decimal commas. For example 123,5 instead of 123.5
I've been googling like mad on this one and there is a lot of chatter about setting NLS_LANG and/or NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS but none of this seems to work in the SQL Loader environment.
I imagine that I will end up cobbling together a complicated thing with TO_NUMBER or with another function but I really can't believe that SQL Loader doesn't have a simple switch to flip from point to comma.
Or have I overlooked something?
Any tips would be a great help.

And also, I cannot be sure that whoever runs the load function in the future will check this.
It is therefore important that I find a way to set this in SQL Loader without any other dependencies.
I think I will probably end up processing it as a string and then translating it to numeric. But this seems like a sledge hammer to crack a nut.
