Come ripristinare ITUNES in macbook air ?

Chiedo aiuto per ripristinare la app itunes in mac book air .
Ho per errore disattivato il tasto back up dispositivi.
Dopo il ripristino posso usare un hard disk esterno per i back up dei dispositivi come iphone ipad?

In itunes go to the iTunes menu, then Preferences.  Click on the Advanced button at the top and it will show you the path to your itunes library.  Does that path match the one you are going to?  The path you reference isn't the default location for music but, for all I know, you changed it.

How can I sync apps from my iTunes on Macbook Air without syncing apps from the iPad 2 to my Macbook Air? (As my Macbook Air is only 64GB and my iPad is 64GB and that my Macbook Air only has 40 GB left...) Or is there no other way but to sync apps from iTunes to iPad without syncing apps from iPad to iTunes(it says Backing Up , then it says Converting files to iTunes, then it shows the name of the app on the bottom...)

Yes, sign in with the same Apple ID as your stolen one in the new iPod Touch.

  • Iphone 3g is not connecting  to itunes on macbook air..

Did you try another USB cable?
If this does not help, and there's no hub between your device and the USB port of the MacBookAir, you should visit your next Apple Store and let them have a look at both devices.

  • ITunes on Macbook Air doesn't recognise external hard drive once ejected

I just bought  MacBook Air less than two weeks ago and I'm loving it and I successfully mapped my iTunes to my music library, which is stored on an external hard drive. Howeve, whenever I eject the external hard drive to use the MacBook Air in a mobile setting and then reconnect it, my iTunes doesnt remap to the library. This never happened on my PC so I was wondering if there was a work-around/solution and if this is a common problem?

Think ive just found the problem.
It seems as though I needed to "unlock" the hard drive by useing the unlock icon in the WD icon on the desktop.
I forgot I had made a password for it and also didnt realise I had to enter the WD software that comes with the hard drive which automatically appears on the desktop when you turn it on or plug it in.

  • How do you connect iTunes on Macbook air to bluetooth?, how do you connect iTunes on Macbook air to bluetooth?

I have a new Macbook Air.  How do I join iTunes to my bluetooth on my soundbar?

The Air has mini-Displayport video out, so depending what ports the monitors have (mini-displayport? DVI? VGA? HDMI?) you will need the appropriate adaptor (eg, miniDP to HDMI) and probably also a cable (eg a standard HDMI or DVI cable).
You can get most of the adaptors/cables from Apple here:
    http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_accessories/all_accessories/cables_do cks#!
but can usually find them cheaper online elsewhere.
Edit: the only way, I believe, that you could attach two monitors to the Air would be to use a USB adaptor for the second monitor. Something like this:

  • Corrupted iTunes Freezes Macbook Air!

This seems weird but every time I click on iTunes now, the screen freezes and I can not move the mouse or do a Force Quit.  The only option is to hit the power button.
Everything worked perfectly until last week when I was updating the software on the iPhone.  During the middle of the update the macbook air ran out of juice and powered off.  Every since I have had this problem.
I have deleted iTunes from Applications and emptied trash and then downloaded it fro the mac website and reinstalled but this has not solved it.
Has anyone any ideas what I can do?
    Thanks

This is now sorted, there is a known bug for this problem. You can download it here:

  • Syncing iPod Classic with iTunes on MacBook Air and QNAP NAS

Not sure what section this would sit under, but as it is primarily about getting my iTunes to work, I’ll post it here, for now:
For various reasons, I’m going to be switching most of my home computer usage from my PC to my Macbook Air (2010).
I have used Supersync to move my iTunes library to a QNAP T210 NAS (where my library file resides) and set up iTunes on the MBA to point to it.  I am using AFP to connect to the NAS.
The router is an Airport Extreme base station with the NAS directly connected via Ethernet and the MBA connected via wifi.
In my new setup, when I click on a song to play, there is a very – barely perceptible – slight lag compared to the old PC setup which used a directly connected USB hard drive. So no real performance issues on the MBA.
The issue arises, however, when I try to sync my iPod Classic 160G (reformatted for Mac, as I thought it would possibly be moreefficient?).  I’m just going through the first sync of  ~31k songs (no video orother content.)  I left it running between midnight and 0800, and it only managed about 3,000 tunes.  My old PC setup usually synced about three times as much in the same period.
Is there anything I can do to improve the performance of my setup?
Would running my NAS connection over NFS be quicker?
How about a powered USB hub to the MBA?
How about connecting the MBA to the Airport extreme via Ethernet (from a USB hub) instead of using the wifi?
Any suggestions (besides running iTunes on a local drive) greatly welcomed.
    Thanks,
    James

I tried this, i selected "manage my music and videos manually" and clicked "apply". when i try and put songs onto my ipod off another computer, i get the warning message telling me if i sync it with this library, it will delete everything off my ipod and replace it with what is in the library on that computer.

  • Is data transfer included in the 90-day tech support which comes with a new MacBook Air?

I would think so.  A friend is buying a new MacBook Air, and needs to know if data transfer is included in the 90-day technical support offer from Apple.  I'm pretty sure it is, but just would like to make sure I'm steering her in the right direction.
    Thanks.

Instructions yes, performing the actual data transfer, not likely.  Here are a couple of links that may be useful:

  • Iphone 5 wont connect to itunes on macbook air

My new iPhone 5 won't seem to connect ti iTunes on my MacBook Air. I plug it in and it charges fine, however I get the following error message. The phone recognizes my iTunes account in that it's on match and I have access to music and such, but it doesn't show up on in iTunes on my computer. Help!

Are you connecting to a USB hub, or directly to the MBA? If you are using a hub, don't.
Do you have the latest version of iTunes? That's 11.3 as of today's date.
If you neither of these are the issue see: iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for OS X

  • External Drive for iTunes new MacBook Air

I recently upgraded from a MBP (2009) to a new MBA.  I have always had my iTunes directory on an external drive. (For the last 3 MacBooks I have had...) so I know how to properly map iTunes to the drive, etc...
When I finished setting up the new MBA - I attempted to access the External Drive hooked up to my new TimeCapsule.  However iTunes would not recognize the database.  (I set the new location as directed)
I then disconnected the External Drive, and connected directly to the MBA - and attempted the same - with no luck.
The only way I seem to be able to access anything on my iTunes is via iTunes Match.
Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thank you in advance..

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, provide ~/Music/ as the folder's path, and drag the entire iTunes library, including the database files, to it.
Alternatively, you can drag the entire library to any location on the internal drive, launch iTunes with the Option key held down, and choose it.
If you only put the songs and not the database files on the external drive, drag it to the internal drive and from there to the library in the open iTunes application window.

  • How do I get my itunes library from my imac to macbook air

Mac's make many things really easy to manage. So, why is it so difficult to work out how to get itunes onto macbook air from iMac

You move the iTunes folder of the Music item in the Finder's sidebar as you would any other. This won't transfer rented movies or iTunes Store authorization.

  • MacBook Air kernel_task using 130 to 150 % CPU overload with fan overheat

After hours and hours to get a diagnostic for this problem, I have solve it.
It seems to be a troubleshooting with the Apple ETHERNET to USB adapter used thru an USB Powered hub (A Kensington here)...
    My configuration was:
    MacBook Air 1.8Ghz SSD
Wireless BT Apple Keyboard (Aluminum) and Mouse
    24" Apple Display (DVI)
    USB USB Powered
iPod Classic 80 Go used by iTunes and Time Machine for Backups
    __!! Apple Ethernet/USB Adapter !!__
    Canon Pixma USB Printer
Overload CPU with kernel_task up to 150% was cycling.
That's the first reason of the difficulty to diagnose it.
Because the adapter was so hot I couldn't even touch it, I thought it was probably in charge of this mess.
Reading some forums, it's possible that there's multiple reasons for an overload CPU time by the kernel_task and this is one of these.
If you encounter messes with kernel_task using an Apple Ethernet/USB adapter, check it first to do anything else.
    Hope to have help you...
    Nick

it seems to be temperature issue, i.e. the system tries with the kernel task to avoid an overheating of the cpu/gpu. those guys here

  • What is battery life playing DVD's on 13" macbook Air?

What is battery life playing DVD's on 13" macbook Air?
    Burnsred

Trick question.  The MBair doesn't have a DVD drive so depends on how much power your external drive draws.
If you're playing movies in iTunes then it lasts longer.  Also depends on which model (year) MBair.  Here's Apple's statement on the current (2011) line.
"Since space-saving flash storage leaves room for a bigger battery, you can devote more time to the things you enjoy most. Things like browsing the web, editing photos, and watching videos. Get up to 5 hours of battery life on a single charge on the 11-inch model and up to 7 hours on the 13-inch model. Put MacBook Air to sleep, and it enters standby mode to conserve battery life for up to 30 days.3 When you come back to your MacBook Air and open it up, it’s on in an instant."
