when I go to web site it says on the bottom bar waiting for stockhouse.com after a period of time it gives me a blank page and the bottom bar says done.While I am waiting for it to come up I can open internet explore and go to the same web site and connect with out problem.I have used Firefox for years but this is causing me to use internet explorer more than I want to. Can you get back to the home page? If so, double click on the Home button and a row of recent Apps will line up along the bottom of the screen. Scroll across and look for the Mail icon. Press and hold on it until it starts to wiggle. A red minus sign should appear on each icon. Press the minus sign on the Mail App to remove it from the list of recent Apps. This will stop it from running in the background.
If you can not get back to the home page, try to reboot the iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad should restart in a couple of minutes.

Creating a template in Pages is straight-forward as answered here previously. Is there an equivalent for iBooks Author which can start with a blank page and build up the template as required? or can one only adapt a ready made template? This has proved unsatisfactory to me so far. Lines are left in etc.
There are two basic menus for fonts - one from the main menu bar and one from the toolbar. You can also bring up the font manage dialog.
I don't recommend trying to hard to force an otherwise foreign font, as it inevitably needs to be usable/supported on iOS as well, and that can get tricky w/3rd party fonts, as an example, even with the expanded font support in the latest iBA.
If you need to discuss fonts more, I suggest starting a new thread....preferably with a slightly more brief title, thanks. -

My taskbar is blank in Firefox. It simply says 'Done' in the bottom l/h side. When I go back to windows the taskbar reappears with all icons at r/h side.
I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6. -
Most of my iPhone 4 memory is taken up with "other" there is no reason for this. I have tried to clear as much history as possible but cannot reduce the size of this.

I can't do it! I am willing to add questions but I can't because it just shows me a blank screen. I even tried rebooting my entire iPad2 and that didn't work. I know it is not a certain app because I tried multiple ones.... HELP!

1) Quit App Store in multi-tasking.
•From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
•Tap and hold on the app.
•When it starts to jiggle, tap the red ⛔ in the top corner to close it;

2) Tap Settings.
3) Tap Safari.
4) Tap Clear History.
5) Tap the Clear History button.
6) Tap Clear Cookies and Data.

when I select a pdf file within a webpage and click to download instead of getting the "download" window and the file automatically opening after download using adobe reader I get a blank webpage (in the same tab) and in the bottom left corner it says"done". Aha! The properties for the plugin file nppdf32.dll for Adobe Reader indicate the file is for Adobe Acrobat. This misidentification is then used by SeaMonkey as a label in the helper application list.
Adobe Reader 11.0.3.37: nppdf32.dll has version 11.0.3.37. This is the version in SeaMonkey's plugins folder.
Adobe Acrobat 7.0.8.218: nppdf32.dll has version 7.0.9.50.
As for having both Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat on the same PC, this generally works providing Reader is installed AFTER Acrobat. Reader is freeware, and I want to keep it current. Acrobat is purchaseware, and I cannot afford to keep buying upgrades or newer versions. -

When I search for a web sites, it gives a list of connected web site.
If I click a particular web site, it immediately opens a blank page and says"done" at the bottom of the page. The opened web address is wrong even though the link property shows the correct address.

I have a report. That comes up with a blank page at the end of the report when the report generates the output in the report builder. Also in pdf file.
It was created by somebody earlier... and i need to fix this bug.

Firefox 3.6 on Mac - I update as available and last version installed about November. Week before Xmas it just stopped retrieving pages - just says "done" in the message bar but no page. I downloaded latest version to reinstall but it refused to install over the old copy: message said "item XUL in use". I trashed the app file and reinstalled from the new installer, same problem. Trashed the prefs file - now when I try to open firefox the message says "a copy of firefox already open". Have rebooted and tried again but same message. Safari isn't that bad but I like firefox. Help!yes - I have the same issue on four different people's new MacBook Pro's on 10.6.4. I have deleted the Profiles numerous times, but the issue still occurs at least once every two weeks.
