Commands for RUN Object in Lookout

I would like to know all the DOS commands that can be executed by an RUN object in Lookout 5.1.Is there a document for the syntax of these commands?

Ok i have things running sort of.
I have a datasocket that reads a local text file.
I have a Run object that gets a file from the network and copies it to the local hard drive (as the text file above)
The run command is linked to a Radio button array (of 10), so that when a radio button is clicked, the run command
executes.
The problem i am having is that after the file is transferred to the local hard drive, i now want to display the information in
the text file using the datasocket.
If i set the Connect & Update members of the datasocket object to the radio button object i get the run command but
not the display of the updated data from the text file.
I have added a pushbutton that can be pushed after the file transfer occurs which is linked to the Connect & Update members
of the datasocket object.  This works fine but i would really like to eliminate the need to click the pushbutton after the radio
button has been clicked.
Is there some way that allows the display of the datasocket object using just the radio buttons?
Is there some way to build in a pause of the display to ensure that the data transfer has been completed?
Also, is there some way that the run command can be triggered by the radio buttons but also every minute if
no radio button has been clicked.  (the data on the server may have been updated for the selected radio button)

  • Key commands for part box missing in Logic Pro X

    The manual mentions several key commands for selecting objects in the part box, that would make this a very efficient step time input program, but they don't exist in the key command list.
    Can anyone help? All I want to do is select note or pause values with one hand while inputting pitc from a midi controller keyboard.

    Thanks for this reply. You are correct I am actually running 10.9 and fully up to date on software updates for August 2014. My bad, thought I had taken the most recent option from the drop down menu.
    I have been able to fix the issue but going into Library/ApplicationSupport/Logic and removing the 'drummer' folder. I also went into the plugins folder and removed 'drum presets'. I put all removed files onto a new folder on my desktop.
    When I tried to open a drummer track Logic detected that the files were missing and prompted me to download the missing 'drummer files' once the download was complete, drummer operated correctly with all drummers available again.
    I went back into the file system again and moved some of the drum presets that I had initially moved out (I  had originally acquired these when I first installed Logic and did a lengthy additional content download) that had not re-downloaded back into 'drum presets'. All drumkits were now available too.
    If the issue occurs again I'll take a look at Spotlight file reindexing - would be worth a try and probably quicker. It would make sense that the underlying issue here is one around the drummer sampler code having issues around indexing the sample data.

  • Run Object command syntax in Lookout

    In my application I want to move the CSV files saved in Lookout folder to another place in the network when a button is pressed. The command line for the run object is:
    "cmd /c move /y C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Lookout 5.1\2004\*.* \\leo-2k1\Groups\Film\Data\2004"
    It doesn't give an error, but it doesn't move the folders to the other place.
    Questions:
    -Is the command line text too long?
    -Can Lookout move the folder while the Spreadsheet object is dumping data into it?

    Hi 23r23,
    While there might be a finite limit to the number of characters in the command for the Run object, it is definitely more than your current command.
    The problem in your case sems to be the path of your files. Since you have spaces in the folder names, you will have to enclose this in two sets of double-qoutes as below:
    "cmd /c move /y ""C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Lookout 5.1\2004\*.*"" \\leo-2k1\Groups\Film\Data\2004"
    Normally, as with the DOS command prompt, you would need only one set of double qoutes with paths that have spaces. However, Lookout expects two sets of double-quotes because one set of double-qoute is part of the command.
    About moving the file while Spreadsheet object is writing to it, I don't think doing th
    is is a good idea even if the cmd allowed it. Anyways, you can try it out to see if it does.

  • Applescript for running sudo commands in terminal

    I'm a newbie when it comes to Applescript and was wondering if someone could help with a basic request. I need to write a small script to do the following:
    1. Launch terminal
    2. Run the 'Sudo -s' command
    3. Enter the administrator password (in plain text)
    and then
    4. run some sudo commands like "sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow HiddenUsersList -array-add administrator"
    I actually WANT the administrator password to be in the script in plain text even though I understand the security risks (I will literally be the only person to ever see the script). I've trawled forums all over but can't seem to find what I am looking for and cannot get it working by patching together the various commands I have found. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

  • How to build sql query for view object at run time

    Hi,
    I have a LOV on my form that is created from a view object.
    View object is read-only and is created from a SQL query.
    SQL query consists of few input parameters and table joins.
    My scenario is such that if input parameters are passed, i have to join extra tables, otherwise, only one table can fetch the results I need.
    Can anyone please suggest, how I can solve this? I want to build the query for view object at run time based on the values passed to input parameters.
    Thanks
    Srikanth Addanki

    As I understand you want to change the query at run time.
    If this is what you want, you can use setQuery Method then use executeQuery.

  • [SOLVED] Error running install command for soundcore

    Hi,
    I use OSSv4 instead of ALSA. Everything is working correctly but I noticed an error message in the bootlog:
    systemd-udevd[204]: Error running install command for soundcore
    What does this mean? Why is there an error?
    Of course I blacklisted the ALSA module as it is described in the wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/OSS#Install
    best regards

    Ok, thanks for the info.
    But why does the wiki suggest to run "install soundcore /bin/false" instead of just "blacklist soundcore"? In earlier revisions the wiki suggested to do "blacklist soundcore" (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?ti … did=231068).
    Doesn't this actually have the same effect?

    I found this https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ke … acklisting

  • Java API for running entire ".sql" files on a remote DB ( mySQL or Oracle)?

    Hi,
    Would anyone happen to know if there's a java API for executing entire ".sql" files (containing several different SQL commands), on a remote database server ?
    It's enough if the API works with MySQL and/or Oracle.
    Just to demonstrate what i'm looking for:
    Suppose you've created sql file "c:/test.sql" with several script lines:
    -- test.sql:
    insert into TABLE1 values(3,3);
    insert into TABLE1 values(5,5);
    create table TABLE2 (name VARCHER) ENGINE innoDB; -- MYSQL specific
    Then the java API should look something like:
    // Dummy java code:
    String driver="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver";
    String url= "jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/myDb";
    SomeAPI.executeScriptFile( "c:/test.sql", driver, url);
    Thanks.

    No such a API, but it's easy to parse all sqls in a file, then run those command:
    For instance:
    import java.sql.*;
    import java.util.Properties;
    /* A demo show how to load some sql statements. */

  • Picklist Query for Child Object

    Hello every one
    for querying the picklist values from ondemand by "picklist" we need to pass the Object name, Picklist Integration Tag and Language code.
    for standard object like Account , Contact, Service Request i have no problem. but I don't know what to pass as object name for child objects like Preduct Revenue, Contact Role etc
    I have tried all possible combination but it is coming with exception. There is no documentation also.
    Any one have any idea about this? or any document?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    The problem I mentioned with Method #1 included the VO reverting back to the old SQL if you do stuff like sorting a column, etc. I don't know of a way to force it not to revert back except to re-setQuery on each action. I try not to use this approach (Method #1) if possible. I don't know how "dynamic" your SQLs are but if possible, you should comes up with an SQL general enough to cover them and then filter them with ViewCriterias (Method #2).
    As for executing your custom query on page load, you can try extending your backing bean with PagePhaseListener, and place your codes in the onPageLoad() method. You can check if it is the first page load by executing the command *!AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().isPostback()*. You will also need to "register" your backing bean to the PageDefinition file as the ControllerClass such as below:
    <pageDefinition xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adfm/uimodel"
                    version="11.1.1.51.88" ...
                    ControllerClass="#{backingBean}">
    Run executeQuery on onPageLoad(), but screen don't get refreshed, pls help

  • Need shell Script for Invalid object

    Hi All,
    Can anyone post me a script for checking the invalid objects in 10g/11g database.
    The should should check for invalid objects,recompile and sent the email .

    I could think fo something like below(And applicable to multiple SID's running on the server) and i tested it it works(bash shell script)
    Assumptions:
    You have environmental file to set ORACLE_HOME ORACLE_SID
    say in this example
    /oracle/env
    ls -ltr
    env_ORCL.sh
    env_TEST.sh
    env_HR.sh
    You also have uuencode rpm installed to use along with mailx command(or else get it installed not big deal). uuencode is required
    to send as mail attachment
    1)I have kept SID list in file (/oracle/INVALID directory for eg)
    cat SID.lst
    ORCL
    TEST
    HR
    If you have lot of SID's you can populate the file using ( ps -ef|grep -i pmon | grep -v grep | awk '{print$9}' | sed 's/ora_pmon_//g' > SID.lst)
    2) Here are the list of SQL's(/oracle/INVALID directory
    cat invalid_pre.sql (For listing invalid objects per instance)
    set echo off
    set heading off
    set time off
    set timing off
    spool invalid.log append
    break on instance_name
    select instance_name , a.*
    from (select owner,count(*) from dba_objects where status='INVALID' group by owner) a, v$instance;
    spool off
    exit;
    cat invalid_compile.sql--to recompile invalid objects
    set echo off
    set termout off
    set feedback off
    @?/rdbms/admin/utlrp.sql 4; (Note you change degree 4 or 8 accordingly)
    exit;
    cat invalid_post.sql--to list post recompilation
    set echo off
    set heading off
    set time off
    set timing off
    spool invalid_post.log append
    break on instance_name
    select instance_name , a.*
    from (select owner,count(*) from dba_objects where status='INVALID' group by owner) a, v$instance;
    spool off
    exit;
    3)here is the shell script
    cat invalid.sh
    for i in `cat SID11g.lst`
    do
    cd /oracle/env/
    source env_$i.sh
    cd /oracle/INVALID
    sqlplus "/as sysdba" @invalid_pre.sql
    sqlplus "/as sysdba" @invalid_compile.sql
    sqlplus "/as sysdba" @invalid_post.sql
    done
    uuencode invalid.log invalid.log | mailx -s "Invalid" <your mail id>
    uuencode invalid_post.log invalid_post.log | mailx -s "Invalid" <your mail id>
    4) Finally run the shell script, hopefully you should receive email :-)
    I have tested it on bash
    ./invalid.sh
    Once tested you can schedule it in cron

  • Hide command in ABAP Objects

    Hi everybod,
    i got a small Problem with the HIDE command in ABAB Objects. I got a Method called
    write_on_screen( ). in this method i  got code like this:
    DATA:
        test TYPE c.
    test = 'Hello'.
    WRITE: /0 sym_minus_folder AS SYMBOL HOTSPOT.
    WRITE: /5 'Im a dummy line'.
    HIDE test.
    Then i got this message "You cannot use HIDE with a local field."
    If i change the code like this
    WRITE: /0 sym_minus_folder AS SYMBOL HOTSPOT.
    WRITE: /5 'Im a dummy line'.
    HIDE _test.
    _test is an Attribute of the class with the type c. "HIDE is not supported with the attributes of classes.     "
    Maybe someone got an advice for me.
    Greetings
