Como correr un programa de c en labview

Hola
necesito correr un programa que tengo de c en labview, como quien
dice ejecutar el algoritmo y luego enviar los resutlados a un subvi.
alguien sabe como?

Hola Murcielago, para correr programas en c debes de generar dlls de tu programa y estos dlls los puedes llamar a en labview, ya sea con los call library fucntion node o a partir de labview 8.20 puedes usar el import wizard de shared library, si tienes el encabezado de tu aplicación.

Me da gusto saber que fue de ayuda.
Para lo que quieres hacer debes de tener manera de sensar o medir la posición actual del motor cada vez que empiezas el programa. Supongo que eso lo puedes haccer con un encoder incremental. O si nadie va mover el motor manualmente podrías guardar la posición actual en un archivo de texto y que tome ese valor y con algún tipo de bandera decirle si es para un lado o para el otro.
Ahora, para poder tener esto iniciando, lo más recomendable es en la máquina de estados tener un estado de inicio donde valorará la posición actual, ya sea mediante la lectura de un archivo o con un sensor (encoder Incremental) y si esta es distitna de 0 (posición Inicial) ir a un estado donde revisará hacia que lado debe de moverse y hará el recorrido correspondiente (mismo código que el que ya teníamos) de hecho puedes reutilizar ese estado!!
Otra cosa que quería comentarte, preguntas otras cosas sobre el mismo foro esta notificación me llegará solo a mi, y si me encuentro fuera de la oficina por algún motivo será un poco más lento el servicio. Sin embargo, si tu haces un nuevo foro, automáticamente nos notifica a todos los ingenieros y sale como un foro sin respuesta que tambíen llama la atención de otras personas que estan revisandolos.
Otra cosa importante son los Kudos, cuando una respuesta funcione, puedes dar Kudos si esta te parece buena y eso nos ayuda a llevar un control de las respuetas buenas que damos o en cuales requerimos mejorar.

I tried to run my application on LM3S8962.
The build succeeded. All LEDs are green,
but the application doesn't run.
The error message appears in the status window:
[17:06:21] Status: Build Succeeded.

This message isn't really enlightening to me.

i tried to modify the code to isolate the problem.
With the attached code the new error message appears:

Program PIC Controller Using Labview

Dear Team
I have created an application using LABview, in which i'm testing an Electronic Hardware before and after programming the Microcontroller available in the hardware.I've almost completed the project expect the auto programming Of Microcontroller using LABview.
I have to use PIC2kit or PIC3kit to fuse the c code.It would be helpfull ,if i get any support or clarification in the above mentioned auto programming using labview.
My Client requirement is to call the pic2 standalone application used for programming PIC controller Via LABview and program it..Let me know if there is any possibility..

That does not make any sense. You have a license for the development system. You can create an exe and distribute as many copies as you want without further licenses. The only thing you have to distribute with the exe is the runtime engine. Where did you get the idea you needed a license for each exe?

Olá, espero estar perguntando na categoria correta.
Sou iniciante em LabVIEW e preciso construir um programa que controle um motor de passo conforme digito quantos passos ele deve andar. Daí gostaria de uma luz sobre como fazer isso.
Na verdade, o plano total é, para cada quantidade de passos, verificar a posição do equipamento (através de um outro software conectado ao LabVIEW) e, assim, traçar gráficos passos x posição, mas isso fica para depois; primeiro gostaria de um tutorial, alguma coisa que me ajudasse a controlar o motor.

Esses dois termos são um pouco parecidos com o dilema dos termos sensores e transdutores, isso porque as pessoas às vezes acabam usando ambos como sinônimos e isso gera uma grande discussão sobre as pequenas diferenças de significado. No entanto, se você trocar a palavra sensor por transdutor ou vice-versa, muito provavelmente você será entendido.
O significado exato do termo controlador ou driver vai depender muito do contexto que você o está usando, por exemplo, se eu estou falando de controlador no contexto sistemas de controle, ele provavelmente entendido como "compensador" (exemplo um compensador PI, PID, entre outros). No entanto, em algumas áreas os termos podem se confundir, como é o caso de quando estamos falando sobre um equipamento que aciona algum motor ou equipamento. A pequena diferença nesse último contexto é que quando se fala em driver, entendo como um dispositivo que tem além de um compensador (seja ele de malha fechado ou não), tem uma eletrônica de potência para o acionamento do dispositivo.

Windows 7 is Error reporting when running a program generated with in Labview LV 7.1!

Dear Labviewer's
Once back in the yaers I'd generated a program with - Labview 7.1.
Now I'm informed that the version LV 7.1 is not supported by Windows 7.
Now when i try to run the Program generated by Labview 7.1. in windows 7 , I get communication error by the serial port.
Is there somehow somthing I can do to get this work. Is there any Runtime engines From NI for Windows 7.?
Please Feed back if anyone got info for help.

Have you installed a newer version of the NI-VISA runtime engine that will work with Windows 7?
The most recent on the NI website appears to be version 5.0.3.

Is there an easy way to program a PIC16F77 via LabVIEW 7.1 and a DAQ?

I am a student working on a senior design project that requires us to program a PIC16F77. I have no experience with PIC programming, and was hoping for an easy way to do this in LabVIEW. If anyone has done this before I would appreciate a few pointers, or maybe even an example program. Thanks.

I would recommend using an embedded bootloader (protected block) and programming the PIC serially with your application (normal production use). Use a max232 chip for the TTL to RS232 conversion or alternatively use an Silicon Labs or FTDI usb chip with the virtual serial port drivers (VCP). Access the PC's serial port from LabView using VISA (numerous examples) to send the hex file. The bootloader is normally programmed into the microprocessor with a standard programmer (PICStartPlus, ICD2, ICDU40, etc).
I have used the CCS C Compiler for PICs with exceptional results (easy to use, not extremely expensive, numerous examples, library of functions). Hi-tech also provides a demo of their C compiler with example code posted on Microchip's website. The protocol and hex file format should be apparent from the bootloader example code (CCS bootloader.h/c loader.c). The best source of information is Microchip's website. They provide data sheets, application notes, etc.
Hopefully I haven't mis-interpretted your posting and your goal isn't to emulate a device programmer from LabView. If I have, my bad. Microchip has numerous data sheets on the programming spec (voltage levels, bit timing, sample circuits, etc).

Can FLASH program be pasted on Labview

Newbie here, I would like to know whether a Flash program can be pasted on a Labview program, just like the Flash program can be pasted on the Dreamweaver.

Probably not as easily since (if I remember correctly) both Dreamweaver and Flash are from Macromedia and since Dreamweaver is designed to do this kind of thing and LV isn't.
What you can do is integrate ActiveX controls into your front panel and interact with these controls using invoke nodes and property nodes. Place an ActiveX container (in the containers palette) and right click it to insert a flash object (on my system I see 2 objects called "Shockwave ...."). You will then need to wire the reference into the nodes on the diagram to get the various properties and methods. If you can find the documentation for the ActiveX interface somewhere then you should probably be all right, but just consider the following:
LV is multiplatform and ActiveX is windows only. LV doesn't always work too well with AX.
You have to have the ActiveX object installed on every computer where this will run (and it needs to be the same version).
Getting the data from the object could be tricky.
If all this doesn't work, you could try using an Internet Explorer ActiveX object and just load the flash file into an HTML page.
To learn more about LabVIEW, I suggest you try searching this site and google for LabVIEW tutorials. Here and here are a couple you can start with. You can also contact your local NI office and join one of their courses.
In addition, I suggest you read the LabVIEW style guide and the LabVIEW user manual (Help>>Search the LabVIEW Bookshelf).
