Compare and differentiate the contents in between versions - Document Library

I want to compare the version updates and the content of a document which stored in document library using document version.
For example: one word document has 3 versions,
Version 1.0 contents : Please
Version 2.0 contents : Please Help
Version 3.0 contents : Please Help Me
Now, either the difference of these version should be highlighted like Version 2.0 in Help, Version 3.0 as Help Me.
Need to generate a report of comparison between the document and display the difference in contents.

Visual Studio 2013 deploying incorrectly the content types of a document library

Hello everyone.
I created a SharePoint farm solution in VS 2013. I add four content types (say, C1, C2, C3, C4, based on the Document content type) and I create a couple of document libraries (say, L1, L2). Now I add C1 and C2 to L1, and add C3 and C4 to L2.
When I deploy the solution from VS, I go to the site and found out that L1 has C1 and C2, as expected. However, L2 has C1 and C2 instead of C3 and C4.
I have reviewed for hours the xml files (Elements, Schema, etc.) and all IDs seem to be correct and all properties are in order.
Has anyone come across a problem like this? Any thoughts will be really appreciated, as I'm clueless and frustrated at this point, after hours of dealing with this problem.

Hi Sohel, thanks for your reply.
No, I don't add them programmatically, I added the "Content Type" and "List" items to the VS solution. It generated some files, including Elements.xml and Schema.xml. Then I used the integrated VS designers to add the content types to
the list. A very run-of-the-mill solution, I think, nothing too fancy.
One thing I noticed is that I created a feature, and everytime I add a new list, instead of using the existing feature, it creates a new one, which I delete, and then add the list to the existing feature using the designer.
Finally, something weird happened today. I opened my VS, opened the solution and there was several feature files created out of the blue by the VS. I thought something was messed up with the Visual Studio Online connection, but it happens anyway when working
in disconnected mode.

How to compare the contents of two XML documents

Hi all,
I was trying to compare the contents of two xml documents, they are both validate for the same XML Schema. i was using the xmlunit to do this. but some how it doesn't work like what i have expected. for example:
1.xml : <test><item>2</item><item>1</item></test>
2.xml: <test><item>3</item><item>2</item><item>1</item></test>
the result from XMLUnit is this two xmls are different, but it compares <item>2</item> with <item>3</item>, which i cannot find out where the real diiffs are.
does anybody know how i can do this correct?

I faced a similar problem in one of my projects and hence wrote my own comparator. Most comparators like ExamXML etc show XML as different if the nodes under a parent node occur in different seqeunce or a set of repeated nodes occur in different sequence. The comparator that I wrote gives you the flexibility to configure how to identify a node from a set of repeated nodes and is able to compare them successfully if they occur in any order. 1. greatest is good enough
2. to_date creates date dataype from string with the format of format string ('mm/dd/yyyy')
3. decode(a, b, c, d) is a function: if a = b than return c else d. NULL means that there is no data in the cell of the table.
6. to format the date for display use to_char function with format modell as in the to_date function.

First important thing : give your database version (SELECT * FROM v$version).
Please also provide some sample data :
- a typical XML document you're working with (or abridged version)
- explain what change(s) you want to do, or give expected output
- if you're using a table to store the XML (which is preferred), give the DDL

My requirements are the Word documents are a template of sorts. The document will be changes prior to its email with some changes. The other twist is that the customer might more that one recipients, and each recipient will have to have a separate
email, with the same content of the word document.
For example: Say I'm doing maintenance. The Word doc might descript that maintenance, in a set format. Once save the script is run to generate 3 to 10 email with separate recipients with the body of the email containing what was in the Word document.

Yes you can copy the content to your new machine and use Home Sharing to keep the content identical
Connect the two machines via an ethernet cable it is 3 times faster than Wifi. Turn wifi off on one machine to enforce ethernet connection
In System Preferences, Sharing turn on File Sharing
Then
Copy the music/itunes folder from the Macbook pro to the music/ folder on the imac
Both machines should now have the same library
Disconnect H the ethernet cable
Set up Home Sharing and under Settings at the bottom of the Home Sharing page. Select to transfer new purchases.
Do the same on the other machine.
Then when you r machines are connected by wifi and each time you start itunes it will transfer your new purchases

I like to import and make the content of the original PDF document editable; preserves the pdf appearance and retains existing fields and formatting, then allow me to do the modifications and save it back into the original PDF document with changes. I have tried everything but still cannot see my content(artwork and Text) of my original PDF after importing it into LiveCycle. All I see are is a blank page with the formatting and layout of where my artwork and text should be. I like to see everything if possible so after I make my change I will know how it will look when I save it back into the PDF and open it in Acrobat Reader.

I'd like to sync my iTouch and iPad with my PC, and have the content (both iTunes and uploaded music) on the devices override the content on the PC, but cannot seem to find a option to do that. Can anyone help me?

I had to have my PC wiped clean and the OS re-loaded. I thought I backed up everything on my iTouch and iPad correctly, but when I try to sync, I'm getting a message that if I continue with the sync, I will lose everything on my device. When did you download the application on it? Please be aware you will only be able to see content after the app had been downloaded and installed. Read from .txt file and output the content as two arrays

I am using the contoured move to control the x-y stage. The trajectory datas for x and y axis are generated using my interpolation program and it is stored in a .txt file as two columns. What I want to do is read .txt file and output the content of this file as two arrays. Is there anyone has any ideas? Thanks, the .txt file is attached.

Hi Awen,
This is quite easy to do, you can merely use the "read from spreadsheet file" function to get a 2D array (2 columns and n rows) and then use the index array function to get whatever row/colums you want..

Headers are not shown in normal view.
Menu > File > Print to open Print View.
Hover the cursor over the Header to see the outline. Click and delete.

Encore CS5 won't open after I downloaded and installed the content as directed. The top of the project opens at the bottom of the screen, freezes and is inaccessable.

Encore was launching and working fine but,as many others before me, I had no content in the Library panel and downloaded the content files from the link Adobe provides. When I relaunched Encore it froze at the bottom of my screen. I have restarted the application, the computer, and even deleted the preferences file but Encore still freezes. I am using a Mac, OSX ver. 10.6.8., 6 gigs of ram. Any help would be appreciated.

My understanding is that CS5 had a "self contained" installer that installed everything, and it was CS6 that required extra downloads from Adobe
