Compilations? How do I organize...

Hi,
I've checked my iTunes, and there are some albums that have been categorized as "Compilations". I don't want them there, and in turn, they aren't showing up for that particular artist, under the "Artist" field. So every time I want to listen to that album, or even song, I have to go to "Compilations".
I've tried editing info, but there seems to be no way of editing this, or fixing this. How do I go about taking these albums out of the "Compilations" field, and placing them under regular, "Artist"...?

Select all the songs, right click-Get info.
Set it to Compilation - Yes.
Under Artists, the album will be under Compilations.

How do you organize your web root?

I'm working on an internal web application for our office. I'm fairly new to ColdFusion, but I've been using other languages for a long time. I'm most familiar with Python and the Django framework.
I'm a little lost as to how to keep my web root directory organized. I understand that in ColdFusion 9 it is suggested that I package various things into their own applications, and in the web root they're under their application directory path. I plan on doing this. What about things like re-usable html templates? Is there a nice way to create html templates, and render a page using them? Or does ColdFusion only offer the PHP-like "include 'template.cfm'" method of doing this? For some reason this just feels messy to me.
How do others organize their web root directories?

ColdFusion, itself, does not provide any type of framework for this. But there are many communtity frameworks built on ColdFusion that provide this type of organizaiton to lesser and greater extents. Some of the big ones are; MachII, Model-Glue, Fusebox, On-Tap and many others.
ColdFusion by itself is designed to work just as well with a framework as without it just doesn't care.

How can I organize home videos and photos in ipad

I don't have a mac or pc, just the new ipad. I'm planning to buy a camera card reader adapter so I can load my photos and videos directly from my camera card to my ipad. But then how do I organize my home videos and photos in my ipad into albums?
I saw the photo folder app does essentially what I want but does it treat videos the same as photos? I didn't see anything about it being able to organize videos.

Yuo will likely need a computer app to convert the format to one compatible with the iPad. I use the Free HandBrake app. It has an iPad preset.

You'll need to wait for all these things to come out to beta testing for that kind if detailed help. But at the moment it seems that you make the Albums in your Photos.app on the Mac or iOS device and these then turn up on the Library in the Cloud. I can see no way to create albums in a web browser, and iPhoto doesn't communicate with the Library.

I don't think that function is possible with IOS. The only thing I see is you can put the company that the contact is with for clients.

How do I organize my iphoto library on my iphone? My iphoto library is 60gb of photos and 80gb of video.

I purchased the 128gb iphone 6+ specifically for the reason of having my entire library of family photos and videos on my iPhone. Given that combined, my iphoto videos and photos equal over 140gb, I will not be able to fit them all on my new iPhone. I would like to have all of my photos on my iphone, which current works. But how can I organize my iphoto videos on my iphone?
I have taken the time to organize my entire iphoto library by putting all of the content into events. In the iTunes tab "Photos", I select to sync all photos and events from iPhoto but I leave "Include videos" unchecked. If I check "Include videos", then I won't have enough room on my iPhone for the 140gb of iPhoto content. I created an event in iPhoto call, "Choosen video" to grab only those videos that I want.
If I choose in the iTunes tab "Photos" and select the option sync photos from "Select albums, event, and faces...", I will still want to include all of my events for all of the photos of my family and also select the event "Choosen video" that I created. But that "Choosen video" event will not have any content because I did not choose the "Include video" option in the Itunes "Photo" tab. It seems that Videos are either all or nothing.
Is there a way that I can have all of my photos in events syncd to my iPhone yet only sync certain videos so that I do not run out of room on my iPhone?

You could import selected videos to iTunes, and then sync the videos from the iTunes library.
Or move the videos, that you do not want to sync to your iPhone, to a different iPhoto Library.

How do YOU organize pages, create a site map, and use hyperlinks?

I had to get out of bed to bring this up with you all; I couldn't stop thinking about this next learning curve. It is: How shall I organize the topics I have in my website? One extreme is to have all of the topics showing in all of the nav bars at the top of all the pages. The opposite extreme is ............ I cannot truly visualize it.
I think that the big obstacle for me is that i don't want to hide any pages so well, so slickly, that they can be found only by the most focused and persistent website visitor. I can see how some pages could be lost to a lot of casual website viewers.
On the other hand, there are some pages that are natural groups. In my case, the U.B.R.O.L. group is that. It is made up of five people and me. I have one page for a photo slideshow which has one photo of each of us, but then I have a separate page for Nigel and his photos, a separate page for Vali and her long bio and photos, and a separate page for Helen, her short bio and her many photos.
Tonight I tried making hierarchies using hyperlinks, so that U.B.R.O.L. shows up in the Site Menu, but Nigel, Vali, Helen, and Peggy do not show up. To get to their photos, one would have to click onto the U.B.R.O.L. group page. Once at the U.B.R.O.L. page, one can then click onto Vali's, Nigel's, and Helen's page, and then from each of their pages there are 3 hyperlinks: one to return to U.B.R.O.L., and three more hyperlinks to click onto the others who have personal pages. (Peggy does not have a personal page because she is shy and never gave me more photos or a bio of herself. She prefers anonymity.)
But even though I put those hyperlinks on those pages, I am having an internal concept war, my friends, and a solution is not at hand.
I am thinking of how I am going to deal with the pages made for me, my husband, and my husband and I together.
I cannot imagine clearly how a Site Menu would look at the topmost level and much less of an idea how each page would look several levels down.
I welcome any direction you could send my way. I would like to know how you organized your pages, how you decided which pages would not be listed in the nav bar, and what you did to/with the pages that were not listed in the nav bar.

Lorna, mostly from reading books, Iearned the following things.
•Don't make me think (actually the title of an excellent book on webdesign)
•Every information should be available in at most 3 clicks
•Tell them where they are, where they can go and where they have been.
IMHO, iWeb lends itself fairly well for these last 2 criteria. The Navbar is a very useful tool and I suggest you do not go too far away from it.
On my current issue of the toy theatre magazine (which is NOT a beautiful website) I wanted to go in 3 languages; English, German and Dutch. I knew i was courting disaster but one can be so ambitious. This in fact meant that I had to do 3 sites. Sites being defined as a group of pages structurally belonging to each other.
So I made an Index/Splash page with a nice picture, a title and 3 flags. These being links to the 3 versions. (I did not want to make them think on the Splashpage).
Clicking a flag brings the visitor to a Contents page on their version of the site. Just like the Contents page in a book. Here they can choose to go to any of the items and on each and every page of the site is a Contents button that returns them there.
Pages are numbered in the middle of the website, and to the leftside the number of (and link to) the previous page and to the right the same for the next page.
The current issue is number 25, ( http://www.vischmarktpapierentheater ), the previous 24 were done in Freeway and the design stems from there.
The translation to iWeb did work well but in the end the result was disappointing mostly because I wanted some slideshows, hated the "None .Mac accounts" version and went overboard with Keynote slideshows, really ugly.
The other problem stems from the triple language idea. This meant that I had to do either 3 versions of each slideshow, or make one version accessible for every language. This menat some convoluted linking which I will never do again.
In short If you want to go "deep", make various sites and link each starting page to you Index/Splash, keep the starting pages of each site on the Navbar Make a Contents sidebar or something like that on each of the starting pages, and than you can go anywhere within the required 3 clicks.

How to determine organizational data based on user login in Activity transaction, currently org determination is happening after entering customer number in the transaction.
We have used 'Responsibility' determination rule for this configuration. Now the requirement is to determine org data based on user login.
In Org model we have assigned user to org data through a business partner. But still org data is not getting determined in the transaction.
Please help me to trace out the problem.. your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

You just have to use other organization determination rule. In your case this would be rule 10000194 (ORGMAN_12). This determination rule delivers the responsible organizational unit of the user
User is defined as a business partner in the container attribute 'PARTNER'. If not, the system user (sy-uname) is used.
So you have to do the following:
- use this determination rule
- in BP link username with employee
- assign in PPOMA_CRM employee or user to organizational unit
This should solve your problem.

I don't want to see my pictures on a timeline, I want to see them in albums but I don't know how to create new albums and I don't want to use photostream. I just want the photos on my iphone available on my iphone in an easy to navigate way - and this new date or city feature is not easy organized.

As you have been told, you do not organize photos with iTunes, and the photos are really not handled by iTunes, it is just a helper. Just remember, when you select folders in iTunes to sync, iTunes will only sync down one level, in other words, don't create folders within folders. i'm working to a JSF project, and i need to integrate some Flex.. i have a Flex application that is a Chart (i added some features to the Flex chart).
I will embed this flex application in some page, and this is not going to be a problem.. i can embed it and i can use the external interface of flex to, for example, set some property before doing a database query for the data (i'm using spring-flex too, to use the beans of the application).
The problem is that, for example, in another jsf page, i have to develop an application that contains a chart too.. i mean, for example:
- page_1.jspx: i embed the chart, to show some i can set with the external interface api
- page_2.jspx: i want to embed another application in flex that use that chart too.. for example with a menu to select dates or parameters.
The problem is that the same flex app, the chart, is being used as an application.. but i need to use it like a component too.
I can resolve this using the SWFLoader, for sure, but.. the same chart that use the external interface.. i have to use it with SWFLoader in another way.. so in the same chart app i should implement code for both things.
Well.. i'm asking help just to know how would you organize this projects, because i don't have many experience with it.
I hope i've explained well the problem, sorry for my english if i wrote something wrong.

Sounds like you want to leverage the same chart component that you developed on another page but embed a second application in the page with additional controls. Not a big deal. Just define some clean interfaces between them and let them communicate through the ExternalInterface. This way you can swap out them out easily. For example, you could decide to ditch the Flex control app and use HTML instead and not have to change a whole lot.
