Compiling JavaFX and Java into a single JAR
Perhaps I am missing something, but is there a simple way to compile both Java and JavaFX sources into a single JAR? The issue is cross references between Java and JavaFX. Using javac or javafxc separately, cross references are handled by the compiler. But as far as I can tell, there is no compiler that compiles both Java and JavaFX sources, so that nifty solution is not available. The only solution I know of (which is not simple) is to break the sources into separate collections that can be compiled separately and in the right order before building the combined JAR that I really want.
I've noticed my application has a JAD and a JAR, the JAD being much smaller. When I run the JAD a mobile emulator pops up, but it's not the same one I see when I debug. Also, pressing 'launch' does nothing.
I don't know if this is related to this original post, but how does one merge the JAD and JAR?
It seems like the emulator that comes up is related to the Mobile Toolkit. If I wanted someone to review my mobile application, what would they need to actually run this thing?

I think I should use jar command and with some additional options.
Can anyone show me how to do that?

The question I have is how to compile two .java file stored in different packages like
rootPackage-->subPackage-->a.java
rootPackage-->subPackage2-->b.java
I want to compile a,java and b.java both and keep their hierarchy like rootPackage.subPackage.a unchanged. If I directly go into subPackage and compile a.java, I think the hierarchy is changed.

I didn't do a complete inspection of your code (because it's too much and unreadable as it is) and I don't know POI, but creating a new HSSFWorkbook for each input file sounds fishy to me ... try re-using the workbook and just creating a new sheet in each iteration. -
SQL*Loader - How to combine Flat File 3 columns and put into one single column
Receive a flat file delimited by comma. Want to combine Flat File last 3 columns and put into one single column(Table).
e.g.
Flat File
100,239,30,20,30
While inserting into table want to combine last 3 columns and insert into invoice number column.
302030It is not possible to combine the last 3 columns as those columns are seperated by commas and in the SQL Loader control file you must ve specified COMMA as an delimiter. So u better have all the columns in the table plus add one more column which holds the concatenation of the 3 columns.

Is this Java Web Toolkit an offcial part of JavaFX 2?May be Oracle is also planning to do something same like Adobe did for fla to HTML5(Wallaby).
I found the performance is quiet bad during fla to html5. So I wish it wouldn't be happen to JavaFX 2.0.

Migrating cProject and cFolder into a single server instance

Has anyone had the experience to migrate cProjects and cFolderon seperated server instances into a single server instance? How data migration can be performed assuming cProjects server will be upgraded to 4.5 and the cFolders content will be ported over? is this something do-able? Or it is easier to upgrade cFolder first and migrate the cProjects data over?
Since documents link in cFolder/cProjects could be captured in transaction table, how to resolve it?
Would like to hear from anyone with such experiences... thank you.

Need to mix 24 and 30fps into a single timeline.

I have 2 files which are AVCHD 1920x1080 but one is 23.976 while the other is 29.97. I know PPro can mix both into a single timeline but I was curious what I should set the sequence settings as. How should it be exported? Does one convert better than the other?
I am happy to pre-convert the framerate as well before editing, but again, I'm not sure if one is better to convert than the other.

Can I Create Chapters Separately in iBooks Author and Merge Into a Single iBook?
In a print page layout package like InDesign, chapters of a book can be created separately and then merged into one book file. Is it possible to do that to create an iBook in iBooks Author?

If you want your chapters/sections/pages to have the same layout and colour scheme... make your template and and save as template - or use teh same free template for each chapter.
Create a Master version - and it is to this you will eventually copy and paste youe separate chapters.
Just select and copy the chapter and open the master.. then paste in the left "Book" column.
If you are using different chapter layouts - It also takes its template and that also appears in the hidden Layout tree.
I use this method on every book, simply because it does not slow down the machine. A multi chapter book with videos and photo images makes a big file - which is slow to process every time you preview or check things. -

Anyway, you are realizing now that mixing HDR and ITM level of information could become quite tricky...
In any case to which amount are you referring to in your HDR datasource?? I don't see any amount there... Of course any key figure looked up in the header data and posted to item level will have to be carefully analyzed... The best would be to elaborate a routine posting it to ONE single item and/or to spread HDR value in all ITM records based on a rule...
another option (the wiser) is to keep the two datasets in different ODS...

We have Multiple users who claim they have been able to select multiple PDF's and select print. It then would send to a single stream and end up as one document. These are reader users.
We have tested under reader 10.1.4 and 11.0.06 and haven't been able to make it work. Has this ever been possible?Thanks everyone. That's what I needed to know.

I am loading from a flat file which has field Start time which comes in the format of MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS ( Hour: Minute: Second). How can i bring this and store this in BW as one single field. Even in the source it is a single field.
I would also need to use this info object as a key in my ODS

You should user an infoObject/field for tyoe CHAR, length 24. Once you read this, in transfer rules, write an ABAP Code to seperate Data, time and AM, PM. Once you read all the characters from your source, its very simple ABAP to seperate them in Transfer Rules.

Officejet 8600 suddenly can't scan multiple items from both ADF and Glass into a single PDF
I used to be able to create a big PDF by scanning (back and forth) from either the document feeder (ADF) or the glass. This was great for expense reports where some pages were "feedable" and others (taped receipts) were not.
Weirdly, this functionality stopped. Once you start using the glass, you can never use the feeder to input more pages to that PDF. What happened? I didn't change anything on my end!Thanks for the reply DinKyDK!

I have a few things I'd like you to try and then report back once you've had the time to try them, please
First, try downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor as it will often make suggestions that can fix your issue. If it doesn't find anything wrong though, or is unable to fix you can move on the the Microsoft FixIt tool. This will also check for any errors it may be able to repair and let you know what it finds, if anything.
If neither of those tools get you any further ahead, please make sure all your Adobe products are up to date. Most people have Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash.
After that please also ensure the printer is Getting Latest Firmware and Product Updates.

After compiling I got an error saying "Package Element does not exist.
After some researches, I understand that I need to set my CLASSPATH to the jar file. Thus, I did the following;
- I inserted element.jar in the directory "c:\cis109\element.jar".
- Program directory "c:\cis109\javacourse\
exercise1\MethodDrawing.java"
- I also set CLASSPATH variable to "c:\cis109\element.jar;c:\javacourse;.\

Hiding filenames when combining multiple files into a single .pdf
I'm fairly new to this Acrobat X. I'm trying to assemble my portfolio to distribute to employers but I cannot seem to get rid/hide the filenames in the final pdf file. I was using the option to 'combine multiple files into a single pdf' because I was compiling images and documents to a single readable pdf file. I got all that done but once I open it, I'd see that each page would still contain the original file names rather than page numbers - which I prefer not to have employers see for the sake of tidiness (and I refuse to use the Adobe portfolio because it's not really efficient on space or design. I prefer a simple page-by-page pdf). So I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to hide my file names, change them into page numbers or getting rid of them all together so the 'Table of Contents' in the pdf preview mode would not show anything, I would really much appreciate it.
-SsWell, when the .pdf is in the final, deliverable form; I open it in Mac preview mode and the sidebar is always extended showing a 'table of contents' rather than having each document in the pdf file have a number designating a page name, it shows each individual filename the pdf is composed of.
