Composite continuously filling logs with endless retrying

Hi All,
I had a composite to enqueue the message into MQ using native MQ Adapter. Everything was working fine till one day when suddenly network connectivity to the MQ was lost due to firewall changes. As no connection could be established by the composite, I started getting Connection Timeout exceptions in the logs. Since then it's filling the logs continuously. How do I stop it?
I deleted the JNDI from Weblogic, tried shutting down the composite, changed the JNDI hosts to blank but all in vain.
Could you please tell what's happening behind the scenes?
- SOA Suite 11.1.1.5
- Simple BPEL composite
- Synchronous process with just enqueue operation

Hi,
Sorry for delay. I tried undeploying also. Later I went ahead and removed the host from the weblogic JNDI to prevent it from trying the connection, but after that the error changed to below.

I further deleted the JNDI too, but still the above error is filling the logs. I think it's some sort of retry mechanism that is continuously trying to connect. But there is no process, no JNDI currently but still it's retrying.
Please help me stop this.

    I've written a code and I see the incoming data on the FPGA.vi.
    On the Host.vi there is no outcoming data out of the FIFO.
    There is no error messages or an error during the compilation.
    Do I have a timing problem? Where ist the big mistake

    In your first image one problem is that you are starting the module on each iteration of the loop.  I can't tell how your FIFO is configured, but take a look at the example "Hardware Input and Output->CompactRIO->Module Specific IO->Analog Input->NI 923x Continuous DMA.pvproj.  I don't know which LabVIEW version you are using but I found this example in 2012.

  • Showing users fills logs with plist parser errors?

    I'm starting with a clean 10.9.4 install, updated to 10.9.5, and installed server 3.2.1. I then set up a new Open Directory domain and using Workgroup Manager imported a bunch (377) of users that I had exported from my existing 10.8 installation.  Everything appears to have gone smoothly, and works as expected, however whenever I click on the users entry in Server.app, I get thousands (around 3,300 to be exact) of entries like the following in my console:
    9/22/14 9:55:36.799 AM Server[371]: CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): Old-style plist parser: missing semicolon in dictionary on line 1. Parsing will be abandoned. Break on _CFPropertyListMissingSemicolon to debug.
    From what I can tell, these entries aren't indicative of any functional issues, but I would really like to know what is causing them, and how to stop them. Thanks!

    It's some third-party software that you installed, but I can't be more specific. If you can't figure it out any other way, you'll just have to start uninstalling things until the log messages stop.

  • Log filling up with crlcache.db errors

    I posted an earlier question where my log was filling up with errors from Adobe Air.
    I corrected that issue by clearing the adobe keychain.
    My logs are still filling, however, with the following:
    8/2/11 3:42:46.057 PM sandboxd: ([390]) WebProcess(390) deny file-read-data /private/var/db/crls/crlcache.db
    This only happens when I'm running safari.
    I've tried recreating an empty /private/var/db/crls folder but it immediately started happening again.
    Thoughts?

    I believe its fixed.
    open Keychain Access then select Keychain Access -> Keychain First Aid
    Run a repair
    Select the crlcache.db keychain and right click -> delete files and associations
    Run a repair
    I had to do the set twice until crlcache.db was no longer in my keychain.   After it was removed, the logs no longer posted when I used safari.

    Turns out that the message is triggered when the laptop's lid is closed for more than a few seconds. I have no idea if that's a bug but I worked it around in handler.sh before the catch-all condition like that:
    video)
    case "$2" in
    C054) : ;;
    *) logger "ACPI video action undefined: $2" ;;
    esac
    It's probably the Wrong Way but I am quite sleepy and it appears to be working.
    Thanks for suggestions.

  • Time machine is turned off but my startup disk keeps filling up with backup files on a hidden volume.

    My Time Machine is turned off but my system startup drive keeps filling up with backup files in a hidden volume. How can I stop this? When Time Machine was turned on, the destination was set to an external drive.  I was completely confused about what was happening until I used Houdini to reveal the hidden volume. I have no idea how it got created or why it keeps filling up with no backup application running to my knowledge.  Thanks.

    Download this, or a similar tool if you prefer:
    OmniDiskSweeper - Products - The Omni Group
    Boot in safe mode. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
    Be sure your Mac is shut down.
    Press the power button.
    Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
    Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
    During startup, you will see "Safe Boot" on the login screen, which appears even if you normally log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Safe mode is slower than normal, and some things won’t work at all, possibly including wireless networking.
    Does your boot volume continue to fill up? Use the above tool to explore the volume and find out where the space is going.

  • Can storing a live stream using actionscript fail by the cache filling up with overhead?

    Hi,
    Lately we have been seeing a problem with the archives of live streams we create using FMS. We use FMS for live streaming and concurrently store the stream in a file using ActionScript. We use the following code to record:
    var s2 = Stream.get('mp4:' + mp4name);
    application.publishedStreamMP4= s2;
    application.publishedStreamMP4.record();
    application.publishedStreamMP4.play(application.publishedStream.name,-1,-1);
    (some lines have been removed that are used for logging, etc).
    Sometimes some of these functions fail and return false. In these cases FMS's core log shows that the cache is full:
    2013-06-11 11:45:55        13863   (w)2611372      The FLV segment cache is full.  -
    In investigating this issue I have not yet been able to recreate this exact situation. By lowering the cache to 1MB I have however been able to create a situation where storing a stream can stop because the cache is full. The situation occurs as follows:
    * The server is restarted, the cache is empty.
    * A live stream is started, which is also recorded.
    * Via the Administration API the cache values <bytes> and <bytes_inuse> show to be exactly the same as the <overhead> of the object that relates to the file being saved. The <bytes> and <bytes_inuse> values of the object are 0.
    * This continues in the same way untill the cache is full.
    * When the limit of the cache is reached the message
    2013-06-11 12:07:35        13863   (w)2611372      The FLV segment cache is full.  -
    is shown in the core log and storing of the file stops. The instance log also show status changes:
    2013-06-11 12:07:35        13863   (s)2641173      MP4 recording status for livestream.mp4: Code: NetStream.Record.NoAccess Level: status Details:         -
    2013-06-11 12:07:35        13863   (s)2641173      MP4 recording status for livestream.mp4: Code: NetStream.Record.Stop Level: status Details:     -
    In the filesystem I can confirm that the last change of the file is on this moment (in this case 12:07). The live stream continues without problems.
    I have reproduced this several times. Though I can understand that caches can fill up and this can cause trouble I feel like this situation is a bug in FMS. The cache fills up with overhead, which is apparently reserved untill writing the file ends.
    I hope someone here can help out. Has anyone seen a situation like this and is there any remedy for it? Or even a workaround where this overhead in the cache can be released so the cache does not fill up?
    We use FMS version 4.5.1.

    You can use an XML socket, but the FMS application will need to initiate the connection, as FMS has no support for listening for anything other than RTMP and HTTP requests.
    Stream switching can happen on the FMS side. In your FMS application, you'll create a server side stream, and use the Stream.play method for playing other sources (live streams or recorded flv/h.264 files) over that stream. Your subscribers will connect to the server side stream
    See the FMS docs for the Stream class and the XMLSocket class.

  • Applescript to continuously check log file

    Today I realized that somebody is trying to hack into my computer via an open screenshare/vnc port. I'm going to work on figuring out how to protect this port, but meanwhile, I wanted to see if there was a way to create a script to continuously check the secure.log file for keywords like "SUCCEEDED" or "FAILED" and notify me when there was a successful or failed screenshare connection. A notification could be an email or, preferably, an SMS.
    I've gotten to a point where I have a script that checks the log file and if it finds a "SUCCEEDED" string, it sends me an email. However, I don't know how to most efficiently have it run in the background or check only when there the log file is edited. Here's what I have:
    set fileText to read POSIX file "/private/var/log/secure.log" as «class utf8»
    if fileText contains "Succeeded" then
        tell application "Mail"
            set theNewMessage to make new outgoing message with properties {subject:"VNC Connection", content:"SUCCEEDED CONNECTION", visible:true}
            tell theNewMessage
                make new to recipient with properties {address:"[email protected]"}
                send
            end tell
        end tell
    end if
    Perhaps there is a way to check the screen share status and alert me when there is a successful connection? I also want to be able to tell when there failed connection as well so that I know that somebody is trying to get in.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Thomas, I do have screen sharing turned on and I do have port forwarding set up. I like to have access to my computer when I'm away from home. I was also dumb enough to put a really weak password. Long story short, I was lucky enough to be in the room when somebody took over my computer and started to post CL ads. Looking through my log files, I saw that they've been attempting to hack into my computer for every 5 seconds for the last 10 days at least (as far back as my logs go). I immediately turned off screen sharing, changed my password...
    Given your description, the salient issue was the password strength.  If it's a weak administrative password, then there are other potential issues, too.
    Any password that's in the top five- or ten-thousand most common passwords  — or whatever the attack dictionaries are up to now, in terms of content — will eventually get guessed, too.
    Usual approach for reducing exposure to these issues is a VPN into the server itself, or  — assuming a somewhat more advanced gateway-firewall device, with an embedded VPN server — a VPN into the network, and with secure credentials.
    The gateway-firewall VPN server also avoids filling up your local server logs with chatter, unless you intentionally forward the access attempts and errors from the VPN server in the gateway-firewall.

  • Multi-task data logging with DAQmx

    I was wonder is it possible to use 'DAQmx Configure Logging' VI and 'DAQmx Start New File' VI for multiple tasks?  I'm doing synchronized high speed DAQ with NI PXI-6133 cards.  Each card (there are 16) must have its own task.  Although the DAQ is continuous, the user (software trigger) determines when data is saved to the disk and for how long.
    In my scenario the test length could be up to an hour with various test events scatter throughout.  The users want to display the data during the entire test length.  However they only want to write the data to disk during an event.  The event could last from 10 sec to 1 min.  That is why the users want to control when data is written to the disk.
    DAQmx Logging seems to work for a single task only, but I need to do multiple tasks.

    I've attempted to implement your suggestion, but I still do not acquire data for all channels for all tasks.  I've enclosed my VI.

    Hi,
    Is there a way to make an SCCM 2012 R2 task sequence automatically open the smsts.log (with  cmtrace) when an error occurs?

    I would agree with Torstren. The difficult piece would be determining where the smsts.log is, based on where its at in the task sequence. Once you have that it wouldn't be too difficult to place those steps in the
    Gather Logs and StateStore on Failure group. The catch will be, even if CMTrace is open, the machine will still reboot after 15 minutes unless the cmd prompt is also open.
