Keep receiving already read emails on Centro

I recently bought a Palm Centro and activated my Gmail on it. However I keep receiving the same old emails over and over, even after I have already read and deleted them. Is there also a way to make it so that when you delete and email on your phone it is not deleted on your computer? If anyone has a solution for this it'd be gladly appreciated!! =]

It would be added to the front of your Gmail username.
For example, if your username is "xury", you'd change the setting to "recent:xury" in Versamail's account settings for your Gmail account.
I'm going by a thread like this:

    When I hover my mouse over 'Verify Now,' the link that my browser shows it going to is:  lojalita.com.br/apple.  The 'Contact Us' link leads to developer.apple.com/support and in Gmail, it says the email is from [email protected] via mario.whspn.net .  So I've received this about 5 times and have deleted it.  I even went on to the Apple site here and changed my PW and Secret ?'s to make sure and it says my ID is verified in there, so I just wanted to make sure that this is indeed a Phishing email, trying to get my info.  Sorry if this is in the wrong section, thank you for your help.

    Claim #: 20813700201
    You May Be Entitled to a Cash Payment from a Class Action Settlement Fund
    if Apple Denied Warranty Coverage for Your iPhone or iPod touch
    Because Apple Stated Your Device Had Been Damaged by Liquid
    The United States District Court, Northern District of California, authorized this notice.
    The Court will have a hearing to consider whether to approve the settlement, so that benefits may be paid.
    This is not a solicitation from an attorney.
    This settlement affects you if Apple denied warranty coverage because Apple stated that your iPhone or iPod touch had been damaged by liquid. The settlement will create a $53 million fund that will be used to pay eligible Settlement Class Members and to pay incentive awards to the Class Representatives and attorneys' fees and costs to Class Counsel, as approved by the Court (the "Settlement Fund"). If you qualify, you may send in a claim form to ask for payment, or you can exclude yourself from the settlement, or object. To receive a payment from the Settlement Fund, you must submit a claim form to the settlement administrator on or before October 21, 2013. You may obtain a claim form by clicking HERE or by visitingwww.AppleWarrantySettlement.com/Landing.aspx. If you don't want a payment and don't want to be legally bound by the settlement, you must exclude yourself by December 4, 2013. If you stay in the class, you may object to the settlement by December 4, 2013. Please see the Detailed Notice described below for more information about excluding yourself or objecting. The remainder of this email message contains a summary of important information about the terms of the settlement and about your legal rights. Please read it carefully.
    You may visit www.AppleWarrantySettlement.com or call 1-855-282-8115 to obtain additional important information, including a Detailed Notice that describes the settlement more fully and provides instructions on how to exclude yourself or object.
    Summary of the Class Action Settlement and Your Legal Rights
    What's This About?
    The lawsuit claimed that Apple wrongfully denied warranty coverage by stating that iPhones and iPod touches had been damaged by liquid because a Liquid Contact Indicator ("LCI") (also known as a Liquid Submersion Indicator), which is visible through the headphone jack or through the dock connector port, had turned pink or red. Apple denies all allegations and is entering into this settlement to avoid burdensome and costly litigation. The settlement is not an admission of wrongdoing by Apple.
    Who's Affected?
    The Settlement Class is composed of people who meet the following criteria: (1) U.S. residents who are or were the owners of an iPhone or iPod touch; (2) which was submitted to Apple for warranty coverage on or before December 31, 2009, for an iPhone, or on or before June 30, 2010, for an iPod touch; (3) while that iPhone or iPod touch was covered by Apple's one-year limited warranty coverage or, if applicable, the AppleCare Protection Plan; and (4) Apple denied warranty coverage because Apple stated that the iPhone or iPod touch had been damaged by liquid.
    What Can You Get from the Settlement?
    Apple has agreed to create a $53 million Settlement Fund. The fund will be used to pay eligible Settlement Class Members, and also to pay incentive awards to the Class Representatives of up to $1,000 each and attorneys' fees and costs to Class Counsel, not to exceed 30% ($15.9 million) of the $53 million Settlement Fund, for their services as approved by the Court. Apple has reserved the right to object to the amount of attorneys' fees, costs and incentive awards. Any undistributed funds will be disbursed to one or more non-profit entities approved by the Court. Apple has also agreed to separately pay for the cost of notice and settlement administration. The amount you receive from the settlement will depend on a number of factors, including the type of device you owned and the number of Class Members eligible to receive payment from the Settlement Fund. Your share of the Settlement Fund will be determined by the type (i.e., iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch) and configuration (i.e., 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64 gigabytes) of the device for which you sought warranty coverage from Apple. The amounts are listed in the chart below. The amounts represent the average amounts paid to Apple for replacement of each device type and configuration. The exact amount of the share you receive may be higher or lower than the amounts listed below, depending on the total number of Settlement Class Members eligible for a payment and the type and configuration of their devices. No eligible Settlement Class Member will receive more than 200% of the amount listed below for their device type and configuration.

    After your claim form is received, it will be reviewed by the settlement administrator. If your claim is deemed valid, a check from the Settlement Fund will be mailed to you if the Court approves the settlement and the time to appeal has passed. We do not know when that will be. Please be patient.
    If your mailing address changes after you submit your claim but before you receive your check, you must notify the settlement administrator within 45 days after the change. To object, mail a letter addressed to In re Apple iPhone/iPod Warranty Litigation, Case No. 10-01610, and send to both of the addresses below. You must include your name, address, telephone number, signature, the type of device for which you were denied warranty coverage (i.e., iPhone or iPod touch), the approximate date when and the Apple store location where you were denied coverage, the serial number of the device (or the Apple ID for the iTunes account you used with the device), and the reasons you object to the settlement.

  • How do I keep Mail from reloading already read emails

    I travel for 3-4 months at a time. I have an iMac G5 at home and travel with an iPad mini retina. When on the road, I read and answer all emails on the iPad. When I return home and start the iMac, all these 100's of previously read emails on the iPad will now load on the iMac. Takes for ever and difficult to go and erase individually.
    I am using an  embarqmail.com account.
    THanks for for your help.

    Here's the answer from Marketcircle:
    This is an expected behavior in Mavericks.
    Mavericks made a change in the Mail app which Daylite Mail Assistant was not able to bring over certain items when adding them in Mail. Our temporary solution is to have the Daylite Mail Assistant highlight the content which allows for the proper import into Daylite. Our engineers are investigating ways to try and have the highlight disappear so that you don't see this.
    We apologize for the inconvenience!
    Thanks,
    Marketcircle Customer Service Team
    Looks like one problem was fixed and this one created for me. I'm not sure if you had this problem, but before Mavericks, when I would tab down in Mail from the addresses (cc, subject) then onto the main body, it would always give me a tabbed start point on the page. Very annoying, but now it doesn't do that. (another DMA problem)

    Email keep spinning and continues to keep downloading already downloaded emails

    I have not met this before. I think it should be controlled by the file at:
    ~/Library/Mail/MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded3
    You could try quitting from Mail and deleting this file.
    Hopefully when Mail is started it will download everything again once.

  • Nokia Messaging Notifies me of already read email

    Hi,
    currently i have 2 accounts set up in nokia messaging on my N82. One gmail, and one
    hotmail account. Retrieval of email works great.
    But..
    The app also gives a notification of retreived email which i already read on my desktop
    browser. Therefore it does not sync te 'read' status from the server. And yes, I selected the
    option 'sync with server'.
    Is this a 'feature', or did i mis an option somewhere?

    had the same problem. canceling and registering again for Nokia Messaging solved it for me only after I had cleared the cache of the web browser.
    Very frustrating error. I think Nokia should fix it very soon or e72 is the last nokia phone i will ever buy. Is it so difficult for Nokia to keep up with other phone makers? If you cant get email to work then why buy a 'business' phone???

    It may be that the 'popstate.dat' file has gone awol.
    Popstate.dat keeps a record of what has been downloaded, so that it does not download them again, but if has got confused then errors could occur.
    You can delete this popstate.dat file and Thunderbird will create a new one.
    The downside is that it will redownload everything that is one the server, but it should only do it the once.
    Move all mail out the Inbox to other suitable folders.
    Delete what you do not want.
    When Inbox is empty, right click on Inbox and select 'Compact'.
    Make hidden folders visible;
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Show_hidden_files_and_folders
    In Thunderbird
    * Help > Troubleshooting Information
    * Click on 'Show folder' button - A window will open showing your Profile folder.
    * '''Close Thunderbird now - this is important'''
    * Click on 'Mail' folder
    * click on 'mail account name'
    * look for and delete 'popstate.dat' file
    note:
    There is one 'popstate.dat' file per mail account. You should only need to this on the effected account(s).
    * Close window - top right X
    * Restart Thunderbird.
    All the messages currently on the server will get downloaded to Inbox.
    Delete any copies and then compact the Inbox folder.
    Empty and compact the Junk and the Deleted folder.

  • How can 2 users of the same email account tell if one has already read email

    I have 2 users who access the same email account and they need to know if an email has been read by the other person so work doesn't get duplicated.

    I assume you are using IMAP. Probably the most simple solution is to create two folders: one for person1 and one for person2. Then when one of them reads and acts on an email, they can move it from the Inbox to their own folder. That way you still have the emails, but you know who worked on each one.

    Hi and welcome to the Skype Community,
    It looks like some other Skype user used your email address when signing up for their Skype account and is now trying to recover their password. Unfortunately their recovery emails and codes end up in your inbox
    You might want to set up a specific filter to block emails from Skype containing the "Nikita" keyword (in case you need the Skype password recovery for your account some time in the future...)

  • How to receive emails i already read from gmail online

    I cant receive the emails I already read from gmail online, maybe because they have been marked as read. Cant mac mail download emails including both read and unread? Thx!

    You can either set Gmail to automatically forward any mail you get to you IP email account so everything gets downloaded when you do a 'get mail'. Or, you can set up POP or IMAP settings within gmail for your IP account, set up a new account in Mail's prefs and tell it to bring in Gmail's messages, so when you do a 'get mail' everything comes down.
