Con not assign TASK TYPE for Put away during PO receipt
Good morning everyone!
I spent a lot of time to setup WMS Task assigment rule with no result.
My goal is to make Task assigment for inbound tasks. Particulary put away after receipt.
Expected behavor: after receipt in receiving area system should assign task type. This can be checked via "Warehouse control board" form, "Task type" column.
Actual (current behavour): task is created and even can be seen via "Warehouse control board" form. But there's no task type. For Task assigment the only rule exists.
To be sure that it works with other tasks types I've checked on Move order. Works well.

This case happened to me too in R12.
The system did not assign task type after receipt in the receiving area. Moreover, I cannot update status from "Pending" to "Queue" to the user via "Warehouse Control Board" form for these put away tasks. It always show the error message "Cannot update putaway task." after press execute button. So How can I assign these task to specific user?

Dear Experts,
I'm trying to activate the PDI document but the system show the error message: Negative quantity not allowed for Put Away Planned.
I was looking the document flow from the item 10 and I saw there is one task was created with quantity "1 box" and the same document was cancelled but the quantity "2 box" was cancelled. I believe because of this is happening the error.
All items from my HU is with the same problem, duplicate the quantity during canceling.
Somebody can give me advice how fix it.
I found a SAPNote but Note 1674037:Negative Put Away Planned quantity (PWP) due to "Store HUs" but I need a workaround to fix my actual PDI and finish the process.

I checked the transaction SMQ2 and I dont have anything stuck there. Then I tried to change de deliveryquantity but the field quantity isn't available to change. My PDI document already been the Goods Receipt Status "Completed". I try to reverse this document and the system show the message: Delivery is locked (Posting Not Possible). I believe its happening because the PDI isn't active.
Do you have other idea ???

IS-R: Scenario to Create Delivery Order for Put Away? (MD)
For Put Away in merchandise distribution, how come a delivery order can be generated?
Since Put Away is to place the goods to shelf, there should not be a delivery order generated as follow-on document. However, in SPRO, we can configure at what point the delivery order is to be generated for Put Away e.g. After Adjustment (and then delivery order can be generated in WF30).
I would appreciate a scenario where a delivery order should be created for Put Away.
Any advise would be appreciated.

Merchandise Distribution Plan can be done by two method:-
Pull, Push
Pull is nothing but collective PO
Push method consist of putaway, cross docking, flow through..
Scenario for Put away
Head Office decide to procure Article 50 for store 1, 60 for store 2, 40 for store 3 by putaway method useing allocation WA01.
so whenever stores require merchandise, DC sends goods to stores from their stock...
In this scenario, store has to procure merchandise from DC as allocated by Head Office.

Manual payment is not allowed - Order type for payment
Hi
I 'm doing a rebate payment, but when I want to input a manual payment, I get "manual payment is not allowed for this agreement type".
I moved to 'define agreement type' hoping , filling the "Payment procedure" to "C" might resolve this issue. However this gives rise to yet another error :-

In the screen shot u sent u did not maintain document type for manual payments, in the field partial settlement u have to specify the document type which is defined to make the manual payments, the standard order type defined for manual accruals is R3.once u made the manual payments accrual which r already posted to finance must be reversed, for that u have to check reverse accruals.I hope this will solve ur problem.

[Vivado HLS 2014.4, 2015.2, synthesis internal error]
Hello,
I am randomly getting an error "GEP is not of right type for indices". (check the included files)
Some time it is presented as internal error sometimes GEP error appears.
If i reset vivado HLS error disappears dissapear and if i run synthesis again it works.
But problem is not the interface itself. Design is top big to share (and quite unusual with very specific needs). I would like to make a sample, but i don't know what error means and I don't know what causing the issue.
Did anyone met this error?
Does anyone have any idea what is causing the problem? (If i find out, I will make a samle. )

descrFifo_r and descrFifo_w are instances of Multififo and all arrays are defined with
#pragma HLS ARRAY_PARTITION variable=xx complete dim=1
multififo is implementation of multichannel fifo it to same block ram in one cycle only one channel can write and only one can make read request and only one can collect delayed data

Thank you debrajr you gave me hope that that issue is fixable.
I removed associated ARRAY_PARTITION directives, it did not help.
I used script to remove all ARRAY_PARTITION directives and error seems to be the same.
So i tried to remove all the pragma and result is still same.
(If i compile my code, it runs with 0 Valgrind errors/warnings, so there is not pointer mismatch or any other problem of this kind, from c++ point of view, everythink seems to be OK)
But I found line, which causes the bug.
From some reason sometimes reading from MultiFifo<...>.bm_rd.dout fail with this error.
Today I found that sometimes I accidentaly read from very different output interface (not even connected with Multififo<>), I have fixed this section I did not met any synthesis errors for long time, that could mean that the issue was this impossible access on this interface.
Is there some way to let Vivado HLS write out all internal problems? Somethink like debugmod?
Is there way to write for example top 10 critical paths ? It would be really helpfull.
It tooks me nearly 3 days to debug this and this project is small (just ~1500 lines of code)....
Problem fixed for now.

If there is a qty lying for putaway with out any refeerence TO can it still be moved / nullified ?
Other then database change.
The qty lying for put away has been created by a Z program doing a direct table update which has been recitified. But now the problem is to clean the damage that has been done.

With out the reference document we cannot nullify directly by normal way. You have to delete by table level only

Help!! I am new to macs and have been trying to burn a cd. I have created a playlist with music from my itunes and have clicked burn disk. Every time I do so I get the following message: "The attempt to burn a disk failed. The media is not the right type for the requested operation."

You can delete iTunes from the applications folder and all the iTunes prefs from the preferences folder found at _Macintosh HD/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences_ You are looking for three files in that folder
com.apple.iTunes.eq.plist
com.apple.iTunes.plist
com.apple.iTuneshelper.plist
trash those three files and the iTunes application then empty the trash, restart and empty the trash again if needed. Then download the latest version of iTunes from Apple and install it. Then try a burn.
The above procedure should NOT delete any songs or playlists you have made.

User Exit for Put Away for multiple storage type
Hi All ,
we are using the exit EXIT_SAPML03T_002 for doing some capacity calculation and bin selection while doing a put away process in Ware house .
now i want to have two different type of storage types
say
A and B ,
if their are no empty bins in storage type A , then as per storage section search strategy the material should go in B storage type.
Both the storage type has next empty bin search strategy with user exit activated.
The difference between the two storage type is their individual capacity which is maintained in a custom table .
I am facing the problem that the exit is getting triggered only once .
ie. it will check for storage type A if the criteria is not met at a later stage while bin allocation , the system is not triggering the exit for B storage type .
do i need to do all validation and possibilities of not getting placed in storage type A in the exit . or does this exit will trigger for each storage type as per strategy if for any reason the stock is not placed in the previous storage type ?Hi Experts

As i tested for the 561 movement (initial upload) we need to do the put away manually.
So the system will not suggest Full qty to move to one Bulk and partial to different.
But for normal Goods receipt process the goods will be automatically placed to different storage type
based on the search strategy and in the Bulk structure we need to unchek the partial pallet allowed.
If anybody has difference pls revert

Why we should not assign WHT Code for Payment in Vendor Master

I have doubt re WHT. When WHT Types for Invoice and Payment are assigned in Vendor Master, Why Its suggested to maintain WHT Code only for Invoice, why not for Payment. Pls clarify my doubt.

It all depends upon the situation. Sometimes we may pay advance to the vendor. At that time, if we need to deduct tds then we need to incorporate payment tax code in the vendor master. Sometimes we may do either fb60/MIRO and at that time we need to deduct tax then we need to incorporate invoice tax code in the vendor master.
There might be different orders on the same vendor and there might be different areas operating the same vendor for invoice booking/payment. In such situations, we need to maintain both invoice tax code and payment tax code in the vendor master since tds need to be deducted at the time of invoice booking or payment to vendor whichever is earlier.
When first advance payment is made to the vendor and when tds amount is deducted, then at the time of making MIRO we need to remove invoice tax codes so that tds is not deducted twice.

You must ensure that the product type for both the category as well as set type. Only then will the set type appear in the list for selection in the category tab in COMM_HIERARCHY.
Set types cannot be assigned to a hierarchy directly as mentioned in your post. -

I think you're running out of counter index for the subscriber usage counter, it's 0-31.
Please uncheck the check box from other existing service and try that again?

Appointment Types for Appointments; Task Types for Tasks
In the current implementation that I administer, the Type field's Picklist within the Activity Object is populated with values for both Appointments and Tasks regardless of whether a user clicks on New Task or New Appointment. Obviously, this often leads to errors.
After modifying the Type and Subtype Picklists (Type cascades to Subtype), I tried to create a workflow that automatically defaults Type based on the value in the Activity.Activity field ("Appointment","Task"). As it turns out, the workflows didn't fire because that field remains NULL until you save the record.
Anyone have another way of doing this?PureAgression, I think I understand what you are trying to do so I've got 2 suggestions:
I have a document that allows you copy an opportunity using a weblink field (you've probably read that forum posting) why not use that same concept and have them create a new task or appointment using a weblink and have the type pass via the URL?
Use dynamic page layouts so that when they create a task or appt the fields don't appear until they select the type field.
