Concurrent programs form

Hi,
I am new to oracle 11i, when I open a concurrent programs form in 11i, the form is displaying in the applet.. but it is not allowing to change the screen.. like options like print..
I want to disable the print option..
Please help me in this regard.. I stuck here for last two days..

I think u don't have admin/Developer right's to do that ,You can probably discuss with the 11 i admin to get these..One more thing this is not the right place for you to expect the answers for 11i.You can try else where .Thanks

A way to list custom concurrent programs, forms & reports on 1159?

I hope this isn't a stupid question!
I've just started 11i support and I've been handed a mid-size installation. Needless to say, documentation is lacking. Is there a way to find out what is custom and what is not?

The custom programs belong to customer applications.
Run query against your custom application names and you'll get all the custom concurrent programs.

Invoke Java Concurrent program from PL/ SQL

Hi Experts,
I 've a requirement to invoke a Java Concurrent program form PL/ SQL. I 've defined default values for some of the parameters in the Java Concurrent program definition and some parameters do not have a default value. I would like to provide only the mandatory attributes that do not have a default value set from my PL/ SQL code. Can you please suggest how this can be achieved?
I tried giving null for those attributes. But, the java program takes a "" value instead of the default values. Any inputs here will be immensely helpful.

Updating the correct format to be used for reference:
The correct format is:
fnd_request.submit_request(
application => 'PDT_CODE',
program => 'PGM_NAME', --program IN varchar2 default NULL,
start_time=> SYSDATE, --start_time IN varchar2 default NULL,
sub_request => FALSE, --sub_request IN boolean default FALSE
argument1 => rowdata,
argument2 => xxx
Note: the parameter name should be "argument1...n" (and not the actual argument name).
But I noticed that for parameters that are missed out, the default values still do not take effect. Can anyone please confirm this behavior?

Calling a concurrent program from CO in OAF

Hi,
I am trying to submit a conc. program from CO in OAF and in the controller code i am using the submitRequest method to submit the conc. progam but its giving error as method submitRequest() not found in class oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.ConcurrentRequest, please help on this.

It is a 2 step process. First, enable a new menu entry, which when called will fire a user-named trigger, where the call to the concurrent programs form is the executed. How to do it depends on the release. Previous to 11.5.10, this has to be done trough custom.pll, and 11i10 an r12 with forms personalization. Documentation and examples exists for both cases, have a look on metalink.

Concurrent programs - adding output format

hi all,
how do you add other output formats in the concurrent programs form in Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2?
the options i have are limited to HTML, FO, PCL, PDF, XML. i need to add Excel or XLS if possible.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm not sure if this is applicable to my situation as I'm using a PL/SQL Stored Procedure to generate the Excel. Then run this as a Request. Afterwards, I click the View Output to view the file.
I am using the FND_FILE.PUT_LINE(fnd_file.output, string) package to create the file and currently has the extension of PCL but it doesn't automatically open in Excel. I'm guessing Excel does not recognize the file format but it is able to open it if I do it manually.
Not really my idea but it is the client's request.

How to submit a concurrent program from a custom form.

I'm use Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.26.0 (Production) and Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2.
I need execute a concurrent program from a custom form.
In the custom form I have a button and when that button is clicked I want to submit this cocurrent program. I am using the below code.

I have a requirement where i need to get the user entered value in the Parameter of a concurrent program while submitting it. i tried to query the FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS table but in that it stores the ID values from the value set of the Parameter.
After submitting the Concurrent request when we click on the view Details button it opens a form where it displays the arguments in the parameter field . i want to get that string.

How to configure standard report concurrent program in web forms.

I have developed new custom report using reports6i, and defined a concurrent program registered into AOL and assigned to a request group. I tested the report runs fine from form based applications. But user wants to run this new report from web forms(Incentive Compensation). I have no idea how to create a concurrent program link in the Incentive compensation module web forms.
Is there any document to configure oracle report concurrent program into web forms?
or guyz please send me the steps (screen shots) to add custom report concurrent program to web forms?
Please help guyz...I'm new to web forms......

Naveen,
On some event on the page (like a button submit) you can call a PLSQL API with parameters which can further submit your concurrent Request.
If you want to see the Report output in Apps, it can be done directly. Otherwise if you want to see the value in the Self Service Page itself, then you can extend the oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.server.RequestSummaryVO for your case.

Calling concurrent program from form giving problem

i have designed one concurrent program
this concurrent program in turn calls another concurrent program.
when i run it using SRS it is running fine
but when i am submitting from FORM it is giving following error

There are so many restrictions and special circumstances for creating a custom form for Applications that you should ask this question in the Apps Forum (http://forums.oracle.com/forums/category.jspa?categoryID=3). People here might or might not have any experience with this. In the Apps Forums they definitely do.

lets assume there are 2 buttons, first button to submit concurrent program and second button to view concurrent program output/log.
Actually im able to submit concurrent program from oracle custom form(6i) in ebusiness(11.5.0.2) i.e first button (WHEN-BUTTON_PRESSED buitin).
Rather user navigating to VIEW-> REQUEST, i would like to give option to user to view concurrent program output/log when user clicks on second button (WHEN-BUTTON_PRESSED buitin)
How can i achive this?

Unable to find Active Users Concurrent Program in Submit Requests Form

We applied a patch 9647331 on our development instance (R12.1.1). It completed succesfully. But when we are trying to submit ACTIVE USERS concurrent request, we are unable to find it in the Submit Requests Form.
However, we are able to submit the Active Users program using CONCSUB.
Not sure if the patch has done anything.
Please suggest.

Have you verified if the concurrent program is added to the Request Group which is linked to this responsibility?
