A way to list custom concurrent programs, forms & reports on 1159?

I hope this isn't a stupid question!
I've just started 11i support and I've been handed a mid-size installation. Needless to say, documentation is lacking. Is there a way to find out what is custom and what is not?

The custom programs belong to customer applications.
Run query against your custom application names and you'll get all the custom concurrent programs.

  • Find out all custom concurrent program

    Hi experts,
    I am looking for the query that can bring me all custom concurrent programs. We did not follow the naming convention so that It is so difficult the find find out all custom concurrent programs. If you have that sql, please kindly share with me.
    Thanks in advance.

    That is another question, probably the question was asking the custom tables, and I found out almost custom tables. Now, I am asking about custom concurrent programs. If I base on creation_date, it seems to me that I can get 60%-70% of custom concurrent programs. But I need all custom concurrent programs. Do you have the query that can list all standard current programs. Then I can exclude them on my list and I can get the expected result.The same way you got the list of custom table you can use to get the list of custom concurrent programs.
    You can query the same tables/views and get the list of seeded concurrent programs (CREATED_BY in (-1, 0, 1, 2)). Please pay attention to the custom concurrent programs which were created by any of those users (ANONYMOUS, SYSADMIN, AUTOINSTAL, INITIAL_SETUP).
    Thanks,
    Hussein

    Hi Mallareddy ,
    I think u don't have admin/Developer right's to do that ,You can probably discuss with the 11 i admin to get these..One more thing this is not the right place for you to expect the answers for 11i.You can try else where .Thanks

  • Custom Concurrent Program works under one user, not the other

    Hi,
    We created a custom concurrent program in our 12.1 Windows EBS environment. This is a "host" concurrent program which executes a cmd file on the host.
    Using user A with responsibility X this program runs OK. Using user B with the same responsibilty X it does nothing. Request finishes completed, but it does nothing.
    With user B, if I remove the .exe from the %XX_TOP%\bin directory it ends in error. When I remove the .cmd from %XX_TOP%\bin it ends completed succesfully.
    User A and B have the same user preferences and the same profile option values at the user level.
    Can someone tell me what more to check to solve this problem?
    Thanks, Marco

    No the concurrent program is not user-dependent. It starts with copying a file from one directory to another and then starting a sqlloader process. But even if I only put an echo in the cmd file, it is not started when executing with user B. The concurrent request logfile is empty (besides the usual lines about program name,start/stop timestamps, printing info,etc. in it).
    I run the concurrent program under the same responsibility for both users.

    Is the issue with one specific custom concurrent program? What is the type of this CP? Has this ever worked?
    Please enable trace/debug as per (How To Trace a Concurrent Request And Generate TKPROF File (Doc ID 453527.1)) and see if more details are collected in the log then.

  • Problem running a concurrent program from Reports

    Hi,
    I've come across a problem while running a concurrent program from Reports. The report is executed OK and at the end, I call a concurrent program by firing fnd_request.submit_request. I catch then the req_id returned and it gives me 0. I tried to replace the concurrent program, which is a UNIX shell script, with just a simple script that echos "hello", but anyway, I get 0 as return value from fnd_request.submit_request.
    The next step I tried to set apps_initialize with proper vUSER_ID, vRESP_ID and vRESP_APPL_ID, but did not get away with that. My last try was to hardcode vUSER_ID to a sysadmin user, in case this was rights-related issue but did not work as well.
    Am now looking into a possibility of actually getting the error, why it failes. I found some posts where FND_MESSAGE.RETRIEVE and FND_MESSAGE are used but this apparently does not work under Reports (am using reports builder v. 9.2.0.4.0).
    Any suggestions how to solve this issue?
    Thanks,
    David Lacina.

    Hi,
    Make sure that the concurrent program you are calling exists (case sensitive) and is enabled.
    Create a PL/SQL package and use that to call your request - the you'll be able to use fnd_message.

  • The Concurrent Program Error (Report)

    Hi,
    I am new to apps.
    Here i have created the sample report,
    the query is very simple
    select
    h.Segment1,
    h.creation_date,
    h.vendor_id,
    h.currency_code,
    s.vendor_name,
    l.line_num,
    l.item_id ,
    l.item_description,
    l.unit_meas_lookup_code,
    l.quantity,
    l.unit_price,
    Nvl(l.quantity,0)* Nvl(l.unit_price ,0) total
    from po_headers_all h,
         po_lines_all l,
         Ap_suppliers S
    where h.PO_HEADER_ID = l.PO_HEADER_ID
      and h.VENDOR_ID = s.VENDOR_ID
      and h.org_id = fnd_profile.value('ORG_ID')
      and H.Segment1 = :P_po_numberThe above query in report is call 'G-Segment1'. In which i add a formula column called CF_net_value,
    The reason to add the formula column is that i need to format currency using fnd format_currency
    so i add the following code in the formula column .
    function CF_Net_valueFormula return Number is
    begin
      srw.reference(:Currency);
      srw.reference(:total);
      srw.user_exit('FND FORMAT_CURRENCY
                   CODE=":Currency"
                   DISPLAY_WIDTH="15"
                   AMOUNT=":TOTAL"
                   DISPLAY=":Cf_net_value"
      Return(:cf_net_value);
    end;In RTF template i am using the CF_net_value to display the Total (i think that will be formatted one).
    After the report deployment and run the concurrent program i am receive the following error.
    REP-1416: '': User exit 'G_Segment1'. .
    REP-0069: Internal error
    REP-57054: In-process job terminated:Terminated with error:
    REP-1416: '': User exit 'G_Segment1'. Please help me in this struggle.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kanish

  • Submit concurrent program from report

    Hi All,
    I need to submit a shell script program after 5 minutes of report completion..
    and here am using following code in AFTER REPORT TRIGGER:
    select sysdate+5/1440 into l_start_time from dual; --Selecting Five Minutes after SYSDATE
    l_req_id := apps.FND_REQUEST.SUBMIT_REQUEST (application => 'XXXX',
                                                                                              program => 'CP_SHORT_NAME',
                                                                                              description => NULL,
                                                                                              start_time => l_start_time,
                                                                                              sub_request => FALSE, --TRUE
                                                                                              argument1 => :P_CONC_REQUEST_ID,
                                                                                              argument2 => :P_MAIL_ID);
    Now the problem here is, the request is beeing submited immediately with out waiting for 5 MINS
    Actually am submiting this program to mail the OUTPUT of concurrent program as EMAIL attachment and if it is submited immediately, then the program is trying to pick the PDF file which is not completly created.
    This results in ERROR some times but successcds most of the times.
    Can any one help on how to make the second program wait.
    Any alternate approach for the same is also appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Is there a way to add custom functions to the Report Generation Toolkit?

    I would like to be able to delete unused sheets from an Excel report without having  to reopen the file (and Excel) to do it using ActiveX. It is probably not possible since the NI_Excel.lvclass is locked but maybe there is some other way to do it.

    I just tried to explore the Excel report gen toolkit. In that one when you open a Method (Invoke node) of an excel worksheet you have one option called delete after giving the name of the worksheet that you wanted to delete use the method and check it. Even I have never tried these sort of things.
    It not clear exactly what you mean. but as an alternative I found the Excel Get Active X References.vi in the toolkit, I can use this vi with the delete method. Initially the issue I had was that you can't unbundle the Excel report to get acces to the activeX references when you're outside the NI_Excel.lvclass (as in the following picture).
