Conditions in RFX not working

Dear All
We are on SRM 7.0 SP09. i am trying to create an RFx with conditions like surcharge/discount. The standard condition for absolute
discount was used in the item condition of the RFX. When the response is entered for the discount part , the discount amount
resets to "0" as soon the "Check" button is clicked. Hence the total amt in the RFQ never changes based on the discount.
Any help in resolving this highly appreciated.

Condition - Query Designer not working in BEx

Hi all,
I have used Condition in my Query in Query designer. it is to calulate the top 10 customer. when i execute the report in RSRT , condition is not working properly.
But, at the same time , i am executing my same query on portal and condition is working on portal.
We are on EHP 1 . please suggest.

Hi James,
There are certain functions about condition which are only available for 7.x runtime (Java Web, Portal) and are not available for 3.x runtime (transaction RSRT, BEx Analyzer, ABAP Web).
For example this one:

● Most Detailed Characteristic Along the Rows or Columns
This option is optimized for threshold value conditions. The condition is applied to the most detailed characteristic of the rows or columns.
Note that this function is not supported when executing the query in the BEx Analyzer.
If you have set to "Most Detailed Characteristic Along the Rows or Columns" in Query Designer, portal would execute properly according to this setting while RSRT would use one of the other two settings (seems to be "Single Characteristics and Characteristic Combinations" as I remember) which lead to unexpected result. This is my assumption how it is in your case.

Conditions in BAPI not working

Hi,
   Using the BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATFROMDAT2 with my own price condition values the sales order is still created using the system price condition and not my values. How do I force the sales order to use my condition values and not calculate from standard config?
eg PR00 mine is 52.50 whereas it is 55.50 in the system config for the material, the sales order uses the 55.50 !

Conditional action does not work on iPad

Dear all,
Today I have experienced an issue regarding the HTML5 output of a project.
In my project, I have three questions slides (without reporting), used for self-evaluation only, and six quiz slides. If the quiz is not passed, users can retake the quiz - and the Retake button leads to the first quiz slide (and not to the other questions slides.
I have managed this by creating a user variable "v_b", which is assigned with 1 as soon as the user reaches the results slide. Then, on each self-evaluation question slide, there is a check "If v_b is greater or equal to 1, then jump to the first quiz slide". (Followed this blog post: Excluding Knowledge Check Questions when Reviewing/Retaking the Quiz « Rapid eLearning | Adobe Captivate Blog)
Everything works just fine as swf, but the HTML5 version on the iPad does not assign "v_b" with one. It always brings me to the wrong slide after clicking the "Retake" button.
Does anyone know this problem or is able to recommend a workaround?

Ok, I already have this version, but as I was looking for the version for my previous post it told me still 7.0.0.118
Now opened my project again and the correct version was displayed - strange. Will check the output again, ensuring that it is from 7.0.1 and let you know.

Conditional Row formatting not working in RTF

Hi Everyone,
Using the code from the documentation, I have managed to get every other row in my report to highlight, but only when displayed in a PDF. It doesn't come out with any row formatting when viewed as an RTF.
Can anyone explain why this is, or how I can get the RTF to how the formatting as well??
The code I am using is from page 6-90 from the documentation, in the "for-each ROW" text field formatting options:

I think it is a bug, because, if I remember correctly, the example we mentioned is within a section about RTF templates, so it should work.
Anyway, I found a workaround. Based on the example where the CASE switch is used: you just draw all the posible formats (including background color) for the rows in your table in your template and conditionally display the correct format for each row. You can use 'IF' instead of 'CASE' (I personally find it easier).

Stastical Condition Type is not working in Purchase Order

Hi All,
I created a pricing procedure and Bank charges are created as a condition type which is stastical. I assigned a account Key and Accural key for the same condition type. We activated Purchase Account Management
Purchase order is raised with USD 100, ank charges(%) which will be calculated on Base price, for example Bank charges is 1% then bank charges will be USD1.
I want these bank charges should not be added to the material cost. But when we are doing GR accounting entries as below.
Stock account 101     +
GR/IR     100     -
Pur acc     100     +
Pur Offset     101     -
Bank chargesAccount key     10 +
Accural     10     -
In the above Bank Charges are added to Stock account which is not required.
Even though I created the Bank charges Condition type as Statical still the value is adding to the stock account.

Most importantly whenever we create a condition type with statistical check box it means that value will not be included in Net price calculation this is the only purpose of statistical check box.(Like any freight charges it will go to your stock a/c even though statistical check box is there in your Pricing procedure)
When you create condition type for any charges with Cond.category B Delivery costs and Accrual check box in M/06 by default it will go to stock account, but you can restrict that by using a functionality

Shipment cost for multiple condition type is not working

Dear Experts
I am doing inbound transportation,I have a freight condition, FRB1, and two fixed cost condition type ( ZX01 and ZX02).
I maintained 3 condition type under T_06, and created condition record.
Now when I am doing shipment costing system is taking the last assigned condition type relevant condition record value, however it is pulling the other two condition type in the pricing procedure and with information message.
Could some body suggest how to bring all 3 condition type value effective for shipment cost.

Start condition in workflows, not working

Hi,
I have been trying to edit the start condition for a workflow. I have entered the condition in coloumn "c" but the symbol does not comeup ( the condition active symbol). I have been trying out different things, but nothing helps. Please help me out..

1. Check the start condition through SWB_COND, It should be active.
2. Check that Receiver Function Module-SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF
and Check Function Module- SWB_2_CHECK_FB_START_COND_EVAL have been maintain
through tcode: SWETYPV. If these FMs are not maintain, then maintain it.

Does Conditional Formatting does not work in HTML report editor - BO 4.1

I have just upgraded to BO 4.1 from BOXI 3.1
I see conditional formatting option is grayed out for me in BO 4.1
I dont have java installed and running launchad on HTML (Preference ->WEBI-> Modify Report -> HTML )
Is there any relation between Applet option and Conditional formatting or is there anything wrong with Access which i need to correcr explicitly as compared to BO 3.1 ?

This is expected behavior; We can modify the Conditional formatting only though Applet mode or using Webi Rich Client.

Conditional Build Tags Not Working

I'm using Robohelp X5 for Word but I just downloaded the
trial version of Robohelp 7 and the same problem occurs. I'm trying
to use condtional build tags to create 3 different help outputs
from the same source file. The problem I'm having is sometimes the
tags don't get filter out. When I check the source file, the tags
are correctly labeled. Has anyone experienced this problem before?

Ok. I have tags per topic and tags within the content of a
topic. For example, I'm creating 3 help files. So one topic can
have the following:
Topic Title
Heading 1
Content
Heading 2
Content
Heading 3
Content
Each Heading within the topic has a different tag, When I
compile the help, I omit tags 2 and 3 if I want help for tag1. For
some reason, some of the tags are omitted.

IF - Else condition is not working properly in Bex Query Designer

I have a KF called KPI Value. Based on the KPI Value, my report display has to show by using the if-else condition. If the KPI value is '999999' then that particular KPI value has to display as 'X' against to that KPI No. Thats all my requirement. To achieve this I have created a formula based on the KF.
(KPI Value == 999999)*(1/0)+(KPI Value <> 999999)*(KPI Value)*1
Unfortunately, the above expression is shwoing the entire colmn as 'X' irrespective of the KPI value. i.e., logic is not working Could any one please suggest how to achieve this requirement. Your assistance is highly appreciable and very helpful. Thank you in advance!!!

I can visualize how condition should give results. The problem here is reality, I tired in my system with your formula and I got like as I mentioned.
If you observe closely your If..else formula, (KPI Value == 999999)*0+(KPI Value <> 999999)*KPI Value
If KPI Value == 999999 Result is 0, Else(Assuming) KPI Value <> 999999 Result is other nos like 1111, 2222 etc.
Actually it is not If..else, it is IF..ENDIF. Both conditions should get satisfied to give below:--
KPI value Formula
9999 X
1111 1111
2222 2222
9999 X
3333 3333
4444 4444
9999 X
In the course of adding both conditions results, system is not able to add 0+ Other Values in single column. So it is giving mixed values * like below:--
KPI value Formula
9999 X
1111 *
2222 *
9999 X
3333 *
4444 *
9999 X
Note: Once again I want to say it is not to prove you wrong. Let's get some clarity on the issue. I might be also wrong. But I want to know the actual result. If you can test it tomorrow and let me know..it would be great.

Condition specified in expression 2 is not working as expected

I have an application variable that I'm setting in a page-level computation. It is conditional: it should only be (re) set when :request is not Delete, and when the application item is either null, or when a specific string is NOT contained in the application item. I have the condition type as PL/SQL, and am using both expression 1 and expression 2.
Expression 1:
nvl(:REQUEST,'DELETE') <> 'DELETE' (this condition is working)
Expression 2:
nvl(instr(:MD_Refresh_Tables, 'HDB_SITE'),0) < 1)
(this condition is not working. :MD_Refresh_Tables is the application item being
set. And I've checked out the SQL in sqlplus and it's doing what I think it is.
However, when MD_Refresh_Tables contains 'HDB_SITE', the computation is
still being made, which is problematic for how I want to use this variable,
because it then contains 'HDB_SITE' more than once.)
Am I not understanding how expression 1 and expression 2 are used in conjunction with each other?

Carol,
You start with a specific condition type. Depending on the type, it may require neither Expression 1 nor Expression 2, or it may require Expression 1 only or it may require both Expression 1 and Expression 2. The type of condition, i.e., its name, suggests which, if any, of those two fields would be required. If your condition type is PL/SQL Expression, you put the PL/SQL Expression in Expression 1 and leave Expression 2 empty.

 i am trying to chk one condition in sap script using if statement....but it is not working at all.

value for IST_ITEM-SAD_PRINT is coming as it is shown while debuging .
eventhen control is going inside if statement independent from the value of IST_ITEM-SAD_PRINT

Declare a dummy variable of type IST_ITEM-SAD_PRINT and then use that variable in sapscript..
Ex..

Conditional formatting in the chart does not work after 10g to 11g upgrade

W e have upgraded from 10g to 11.1.1.6.8 recently. For all the reports conditional formatting for charts is not working for us which used to work in 10g.
While researching , i have found that advanced xml needs to be modified. So i changed xml where there is 'untypedLiteral' to 'decimal' and saved the report. Inspite of saving , xml wouldnt change . It still shows as untypedLiteral.
I also tried to delete the conditional format and recreate again. But still it wouldn't work.
Please advise.
