Config Test Failing in Mapping test

HI,
When I am executing config test in ID for an interface it is failing in Interface determination and mapping test. It does not giving any log.
Now the mapping for this is multimapping and used enhances Interface determination.
I tries with Payload XML both with and without the additional message message1 wrapper that gets generated for multimapping but am getting the same error.
Any idea if the config test is supposed to behave that way only for multimapping.
Thanks and Regards,
Himadri

Hi Prateek,
I am afraid this is not the answer.
Let me add the additional info.., the interface is working fine.....
However the config test fails... So there can not be any mistake with the interface,.
Also I have cross checked before posting.. this is not a cache problem...
THanks for the links though
Thanks,
HImadri

Hi Experts,
I am wondering that when i test the message in the MM test tab its giving error and target message is not generating. I am not testing end to end then why it is triggering communication channel?
I can see that the 'RFC_Alert_Service_RFC_Receive' communication channel is in Red color RWB--> communication channel monitoring. I even even refreshed the cache and also activated the RFC channel but no use.
Below are the error details:

Unlock the user you are using in the RFC channel and provide the correct password in the channel configuration. Once the channel error is resolved you would be able to test the Mapping sucessfully...
>>why it is triggering communication channel?
You would be using RFC lookup in the mapping....

• Unable to test in message mapping test tab

hi all,
below is my message mapping test tab structure

I am unable to test this data in test tab of message mapping and my source structure becomes red

Hi Hareesh,
I tried what you said but not working

• Interface test fails during mapping - Resource not found

Just upgraded from 7.1 SP8 to EHP1 SP3. Testing of the existing interfaces has been successful. I have created a very simple HTTP -> RFC Sync interface to complete the testing. When testing it in the integration builder I get the following message.
+Unable to find resource 5e0ce8a0-b99a-11de-9eb4-c576ac120353 in the following software component versions: urn:xxxxx.com:PI71com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_ONE_.class-1+
I've checked cache status overview in the ID and ESB and the updates were successful. I've checked the cache (SXI_CACHE) and the objects are there - correct object ID's. I;ve also performed a full cache refresh and that works. I then recreated the objects under a new SWCV and Namespace and get the same problem. It looks like the mapping object cannot be found. Checks of SDN and SAP help have mentioned a cache problem but we've ruled that out.
Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

I've just noticed something unusual about the entry in SXI_CACHE. Under mapping the type of mapping appears as 'JAVA_JDK'. When you click on the drop down box next to the entry the possible types of mappings are...
R3_ABAP
JAVA
Xi_TRAFO
XSLT
RS_XSLT
I'm not sure if this is an issue or not. I've checked SDN and SAP SUPPORT and I can't find anything.

• DV7-1220ed BIOS disk test fails in full test (hangs). Is this the disk or the controller?

Hi,
my DV7-1220ed started failing with BSOD after I used CCcleaner software.
I decided to reinstall the PC, but still there seems to be a problem with the disk.
Sometimes it stalls, and then I can see the disk light on almost constantly and you can hear it spin in a repeating pattern.
BIOS disk test is OK in Quick test, but hangs in Full test at 0%. Can't stop it with ESC key, have to poff/pon.
Any idea if this is the disk or the controller?
Can I move the disk to the free slot to see if this is a controller problem?
Any help would be appreciated.
I also used the 'mstd' utility to send info.
Thanks,
Jaap

Hi,
If you have created your set of Recovery DVDs, these will automatically format the HDD as part of the installation process as well as re-creating all the partitions that were originally on your notebook.

• Sometimes tests fail abruptly with timeout in CUITE

Hi,
we have a tests suite of codedui tests, and sometimes we noticed that tests fails with timeout :
Test 'XXXX' exceeded execution timeout period.
The problem with this is that when we get this failure, it seems that the tests doe not execute MyTestCleanup(), so the following tests fail.
the header of our functions looks like the following :
[TestMethod, Timeout(5 60 1000)]
[Description("Description")]
[Owner("pm")]
[TestCategory("C1"), TestCategory("Regression"), TestCategory("C2"), Priority(2)]
public void VerifyFunctionality1()
is there any wahy to make the tests execute the MytestCleanup() when they timeout ?? please note we use vstest.console.exe and visual studio 2012.
Regards

Hi kaki2000,
>>is there any wahy to make the tests execute the MytestCleanup() when they timeout ?? please note we use vstest.console.exe and visual studio 2012.
The real issue is that where you design the MytestCleanup(), do you use the cleanup method like ClassCleanup Attribute or the TestCleanup Attribute?
If so, I think it would have a limitation for it, for example,
the TestCleanup: Identifies a method that contains code that must be used after the test has run and to free resources obtained by all the tests in the test class.
I think you could get useful information here "How Cleanup Methods Affect Test Run Time-Outs
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms243175.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
The test run might have a time-out value assigned. The amount of time that is used by the cleanup methods is added to the total amount of time that is used by the test run. In other words, the cleanup time counts toward the time limit that you have
imposed on the test run as a whole, and therefore could cause the test run to time out.

Dear All,
Am doing xscale build of CDC-HI-1.1.1-rr-b6 and am running TCK 1.1 against it on a montavista 3.1 platform . Out of 9102 , about 320 tests fail. All the optional packages have been built with the hotspot implementation. The File section of the java_io tests all fail with the harness version 3.2_02 fcs b05 giving the error that
Directory CDC-TCK-1.1/CDC-TCK_11/tests/api/java_io/File not found. Possible configuration Error
and all File related tests fail. Other tests that fail are FileDescriptor, FileInputStream, FileNotfoundException,File OutputStream, Filereader,FileWriter,OutputStreamWriter, Serialization components .
I can for sure see that the File directory exists in java_io dir and the file->serial tests also pass. Any pointers if am missing any enviornment vars or testing with wrong TCK version ?

• Mapping tested successfully in Simulator but fails in SXI_MONITOR

Hi gyus,
The Outbound message structure is the following:
MT_CAP_BANKS
actions 1..1 xsd:string
RECORD 0..unbounded Segment
Field1
Field2
etc
The target Inbound message structure is the structure of the JDBC receicer adapter, since the scenario is Proxy to JDBC.
MT_DB_BANKS
STATEMENT 1..unbounded
DBSTATEMENT 1..1
action
etc
I want to have one STATEMENT per RECORD segment. But the RECORD segment may also be missing in case that we want to do massive delete of all the entris in a table. So I may have only the action field in some test cases.
Therefore, I am mapping RECORD>mapWithDefault>STATEMENT.
Mapping is tested successfully in simulator for all cases, either many RECORD segment or no RECORD segment. Interface mapping tested successfully. However, when we are doing real tests, mapping works fine with many RECORD segments, but fails with no RECORD segments (Cannot produce target element /ns0:MT_DB_BANKS/STATEMENT. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd).
Any ideas ?
I also tried to chang the mapping with IF RECORD EXISTS THEN STATEMENT='' ELSE RECORD-->STATEMENT but problem still remains!!

Hi,
I'm not really sure why you are encountering this error. Have you tried any context modifications before mapping to field STATEMENT?
Could you try this mapping?
constant:null -----------------------------------------> \
RECORD --> mapWithDefault:null --> equalsS:null --> ifThenElse --> STATEMENT
constant:hasValue -------------------------------------> /
The code should perform just like the one with the mapWithDefault without the ifThenElse, but it's worth to try.
Hope this helps,

I have a group of 6 unit tests failing after upgrading to the new Kodo
4.0.0 (with BEA) from Kodo-4.0.0-EA4 (with Solarmetric). I'm getting
exceptions like the one at the bottom of this email. It seems to be an
interaction with the PostgreSQL driver, though I can't be sure. I
haven't changed my JDO configuration or the related classes in months
since I've been focusing on using the objects that have already been
defined. The .jdo, .jdoquery, and .java code are below the exception,
just in case there's something wrong in there. Does anyone have advice
as to how I might debug this?

• Getting Java mapping errors when testing my Interface mapping

Hi,
I'm trying to test my interface mapping from IR, I keep getting these exceptions. All I'm doing in my interface mapping is I have two mapping programs a XSLT mapping with java helper functions with the XSL and a message mapping. In the test it pass thru the XSLT mapping but fails at Message mapping and throws the following exception. Any help on this is really appreciated.

Joe,
most likely your XSLT is outputting a not well-formed XML message.
Remove message mapping from the mapping list and execute it again, to check output.
Also, for mapping debugging in java enhanced function inside XSLT mappings, use the following:
1st, you need to pass the "inputparam" parameter from the XSLT runtime to the Java function (it needs to be one of the input parameters for the executed java function).
In the Java code itself, implement the following code:
AbstractTrace trace = (AbstractTrace) param.get(StreamTransformationConstants.MAPPING_TRACE);
trace.addInfo("Log your message here!");
where param is the input parameter refering to the inputparam from XSLT.
The AbstractTrace and StreamTransformationConstants classes can be found in the aii_map_api.jar file (used in Java mappings).
Regards,
Henrique.

• Interface mapping test successful, throws exception in BPM

Hi.
We are having a problem with an Interface mapping which works when
tested in Integration Builder, but throws an Exception when it is part
of the Transformation in a BPM.
The scenarion is such:
1. The sender calls the outbound interface using a web service.
2. XI uses the input and passes to the Integration Process
3. In the BPM, a LOGON message is built to call the web service as
specified by an external web service . The input and
output messages are just a single string, in which the other XML is
embedded.
4. XI receives a response from the web service call
5. XI Extracts the sessionId from the response and combines it with the
initial input (Step 1) to create the query for the query message in
the web service.
It is in Step 5 where the transformation fails, with an Exception in
the DefaultTrace.trc as
Runtime exception occurred during execution of application mapping program com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_LogonResponse_PropertySearchRequest_to_ExternalRequestSOAP_: com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException; RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformation: Cannot produce target element /ns0:Messages/ns0:Message1/ns1:EXTERNAL/REQUEST. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd
Thrown:
MESSAGE ID: com.sap.aii.ibrun.server.mapping.rb_MappingRuntimeException.EXCEPTION_DURING_EXECUTE
com.sap.aii.ibrun.server.mapping.MappingRuntimeException: Runtime exception occurred during execution of application mapping program com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_LogonResponse_PropertySearchRequest_to_ExternalRequestSOAP_: com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException; RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformation: Cannot produce target element /ns0:Messages/ns0:Message1/ns1:EXTERNAL/REQUEST. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd
I have extracted the data from the initial request (step 1) and the
logon response (step 4) and using these I have tested the Interface
Mapping. There is no problem with this and the tests are successful.
From what I can see, because the Response field in the LOGONResponse
contains more XML tags, XI must be parsing it and assuming the tags are
tags in the message, and not just the string, thus it is complaining
that the XSD types do not match. This extra XML Parsing does not take
place in the Interface Mapping Test.
I have put the response into a User Defined Function which just has one
line "return new String("Hello")" and that fails. However, if this UDF
does not have the Response as the input, it does not complain.
Please advise.

hi
You will have to use specific replacements for you xml tags if it is coming as a paramter
replace '<' with <
replace '>' with >
for eg: I want to pass <TakeIt>200</TakeIt> as value to Element
Mapping won't work if it is passed like
a) <TakeIt>200</TakeIt> - Wrong
Instead the replace the angle brackets
b) <TakeIt>200</TakeIt> - Correct
While testing the mapping in IR (a) will work bcoz the test tool will convert it to (b) format. Check the xml source in test tool.
So ensure the web response is like (b)
