  • Resource account attribute names during reconciliation

    Hi,
    I need to set some attributes when creating the IDM user during initial reconcilation from an LDAP resource. I understand only the waseset and LDAP user attributes are available during the reconciliation. Does anyone know how to refer to the resource account attributes?
    I tried to put this in my proxyuser form:
    <Field name='accounts[Lighthouse].uvaDepartment'>
    <Derivation>
    <invoke name='listToString' class='com.waveset.util.Util'>
    <ref>accounts[LDAP].ou</ref>
    <s>; </s>
    </invoke>
    </Derivation>
    </Field>
    uvaDepartment is a extended attribute in the IDM schema, and ou a multivalued LDAP atribute. But uvaDepartment remains empty.
    Greetings,
    Marijke

    thanks,
    I found out the problem was caused by not setting thel user password in the resource parameters page.
    I set up a temporay form and debugged the attributes from the Active Directory. Somehow, the password has already been populated with a (random) value. To be sure, I'll use your suggestion to generate a temporary password to ensure it conforms to my own Password Policy :
            <invoke name='generatePassword'>
              <new class='com.waveset.provision.PasswordGenerator'>
                <ref>:display.session</ref>
              </new>
              <invoke name='getObject' class='com.waveset.ui.FormUtil'>
                <rule name='UWS-RLB-Utils:GetLightHouseContext'/>
                <s>Policy</s>
                <ref>My-Password-Policy</ref>
              </invoke>
              <new class='com.waveset.object.WSUser'/>
            </invoke>

  • NCS TACACS accounting via ACS

    If I choose to authenticate NCS users through Cisco ACS (5.4 in this instance) via TACACS, do I still have the ability to do accounting to track what changes they have made?  I'm not getting anything in the TACACS accounting reports and I don't see anywhere to configure TACACS for accounting within NCS gui like I can on a WLC.  I know that NCS has an internal audit trail but if a users account is both a local account on NCS as well as an account being authenticated through ACS does the Audit trail on NCS for that local user still contain the information about changes the user made?  I ask because it looks like it does but I want to make sure I'm not going mad.  Here is my example:
    Local account username:  NCS_Admin2
    AD account via TACACS username:  NCS_Admin2
    Audit trail for the NCS_Admin2 account on NCS looks like changes are being logged to NCS even though the user is logging in with their AD credentials via TACACS.
    I know that is probably as clear as mud.
    Thanks.
    Todd

    *3)* I confirmed that RemoteManager is running by going to the design console. Administration -> Remote Manager. And I see that RManager service has both Running and IT Resource to be selected.
    But, when I shutdown remote manager and look at the Remote Manager from design console it only has the IT Resource to be selected.
    So, I am assuming the OIM is seeing the RManager service to be active when it is running,
    Please let me know if you have any ideas of how I should go about resolving this issue.
    Thanks,

  • Names in Members field under the UNIX Attributes Tab have changed from standard format (i.e. John Doe) to the actual account name (jdoe)

    Hello,
    Names in Members field under the UNIX Attributes Tab have changed from standard format (i.e. John Doe) to the actual account name (jdoe). The only time this happens is if a domain account is deleted and the remnant of the account remains and has to be removed
    manually. However all of the accounts, with the exception of any new ones recently added, now show the account name only. Any ideas on what caused this and how to fix it?
    Thanks :)

    Hi,
    I have not heard from you for some days, currently I am providing the related article for you. Hope this will help you on this matter.
    The UNIX Attributes tab does not appear in the Active Directory Users and Computers MMC snap-in when Server for NIS is installed in the domain

  • How do I add a button for a custom task on the List Accounts page in 5.5

    I'm trying to add a button to the bottom of the List Accounts page that launches a custom task. I thought this would be easy - just modify UserActionsConfig. I've already added the task to context menus. The problem is there are only options to add buttons for the Find User results page and the context menus. Is there a missing attribute key that needs to be included? Is there a different config file that I need to modify? Any help would be appreciated.

    Sorry not possible in 5.x. You will have to use 6.0 and the new HTML based tree browser.

  • Privilege Level for Tacacs Account in Nexus 7000

    Hi,
    I have configured the Tacacs (ACS 4.2v) on Nexus 7000 (as mentioned below) and works fine but unlike IOS (6509) It's doesn't prompt that you are in userexec mode (>) and then need to type enable and password for full privilege.
    In n7k when I entered into "configure terminal" It won't allow me to access other commands.
    How to login into level 15 privilege mode after authenticating from tacacs
    (config)# show running-config tacacs+
    tacacs-server key 7 "xxxxx"
    tacacs-server host x.x.x.x key 7 "xxxx"
    aaa group server tacacs+ TacServer
        server x.x.x.x (same ip as tacacs-server host)
        use-vrf management
        source-interface Vlan2
    (config)# show running-config aaa
    aaa authentication login default group TacServer
    aaa authentication login console local
    aaa user default-role
    Here below are the commands accessible in "Terminal" currently
    (config)# ?
      no        Negate a command or set its defaults
      username  Configure user information.
      end       Go to exec mode
      exit      Exit from command interpreter
    isb.n7k-dcn-agg-1-sw(config)#

    Hi Jan.nielsen
    Issue is resolved but by another way.
    I have found the same resolution too of custom attirbute command but the Custom attribute Option for shell command wasn't available in ACS v4.2, so after enabling shell for users and by clicking exec--> Shell Exec and enabling priviledge level 15 in the same box of Shell options, It start working without any command

    The only problem is, the time is incorrect

  • ACS TACACS Custom Attributes

    I have users that require multiple custom attributes under the TACACS configuration.  Below are the two that are required, one is for Cisco UCS and the other is for MDS.  My question is what is the format to get both of them to work for the same user?  Individually they work fine, but when both are configured for the same user, the UCS "admin" privilage seems to work, but I'm only able to get "read" for the MDS.  I've had this working before, and can't figure out what the trick was the first time around.  Thanks.
    cisco-av-pair*shell:roles*"admin"
    shell:roles=“network-admin vsan-admin”

    You can also configure optional custom attributes to avoid conflicts with non-MDS Cisco switches using the same AAA servers.
    cisco-av-pair*shell:roles*"network-admin vsan-admin"
    Configuring TACACS+: on cisco MDS 9000
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/ps5989/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a008049b8ed.html#wp1244464
    If you have this Cisco-av-pair:
    cisco-av-pair*shell:roles*"admin" -->  Then it means it's optional, this would be the preferred method.
    You can get a list of roles on UCS:

  • TACACS+ Accounting "Network Access Profile" name is missing

    Hello,
    I have a problem trying to export logs to the Cisco ACS View from my ACS 4.2
    In the document http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_server_view/4.0/user/guide/appendixA.html Cisco states that one of the mandatory attributes for export to work is "Network Access Profile Name" under TACACS+ Accounting (under ACS 4.2 System configuration -> Logging settings). Well, I don't have this mandatory attribute listed in ACS under TACACS+ accounting log configuration. I tried to ignore this attribute, but then ACS View complains about null value for the attribute mentioned above.
    Is this some bug in ACS View or ACS or maybe I simply missing something?;)

    Igor

    Cisco created a new bug for it:

  • I have 2 different accounts at the same websites. Whenever I go to that website, one of my usernames prefills the UN field and I can't access the other account. I cannot overwrite my pre-filled username. Ideas?

    I have 2 different accounts at the same websites. Whenever I go to that website, one of my two user names (always the same one) pre-fills the user-name field and I can't access the other account. The website rightfully rejects my password. I cannot overwrite my pre-filled user-name because the second I hit enter to logon, the original user-name rewrites itself into it's field. Neither of the user names is being saved by firefox anywhere in the "tools"; Options, security, advanced or privacy menu fields.
    I did notice that that website has installed a cookie onto my computer called "_rememberme" which contains the user-name that is plaguing me.
    This is a website that I access for very sensitive and important information and I must have both accounts accessible at different times.
    Thanks, Joshua
    XP, sp3; FF3.6.3
    == This happened ==
    A few times a week
    == I added the second account on this website.

    You need to clear that remember me cookie and make sure that you remove a check mark to remember you on that website.
    Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    You can disable the automatic fill of a name and password.
    See:
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Password_only_filled_after_entering_user_name
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/signon.autofillForms
    To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
    If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

  • User View not showing the assigned resources attributes in idm 7.0

    Hi,
    In a Remediation Form I am using a text field
    <Field name='user.accounts[SimAD].group'>
    <Display class='Text'>
    <Property name='title' value='Title'/>
    </Display>
    </Field>
    but here i am not able to get the value of group. when i dumps the user view its shows only Lighthouse resource under accounts attribute.
    <Attribute name='accounts'>
    <List>
    <Object name='Lighthouse'>
    <Attribute name='firstname' value='Magnet'/>
    <Attribute name='fullname' value='Magnet Mangentta'/>
    <Attribute name='idmManager'/>
    <Attribute name='lastname' value='Mangentta'/>
    </Object>
    </List>
    </Attribute>
    while the user has three resources.
    when I use the getView method in form using following code
    <invoke name='getView'>
    <ref>:display.session</ref>
    <concat><s>User:</s><ref>user.waveset.accountId</ref></concat>
    <map>
    <s>authorized</s>
    <s>true</s>
    <s>subject</s>
    <s>configurator</s>
    </map>
    </invoke>
    this time I m able to get the value resource attribute.
    please give the solution how can I get the editable user view in Remediation Form so that I can change the attribute of resource.
    Thanks,
    Amit

    i got the solution there was one attribute on workflow
    <Argument name='NoFetch' value='true'/>
    remove this to false it will fetch all the resource attributes

  • Different field groups in the different account groups

    Dear IT Experts,
    I´m working on restructuring authorization in roles concerning the IC and TP customers.
    The goal of this changes is be able to have different field groups in the different account groups (TP and IC), for give you some more detail a good example can be, the same AMS user should be able to change general data and sales views for TP customers  but for IC he should only be allowed to change the sales views, however when the changes are made in the roles they are being ignored because as far as I could check the system does not have as a rule that the field groups are or can be dependent from the account group...
    I can give you a clear example:
    Role A
    F_KNA1_AEN -> VGRUP = 10-16
    F_KNA1_GRP -> ACTVT = 01, 02, 03
    F_KNA1_GRP -> KTOKD = INTR
    Role B
    F_KNA1_AEN -> VGRUP = 16
    F_KNA1_GRP -> ACTVT = 01, 02, 03
    F_KNA1_GRP -> KTOKD = THIR
    Despite it looks fine, the system is not validating the account group with the correspondent field group in each role, so the field groups that the system use is unique, it means it the content of the object F_KNA1_AEN in total independently of used account group!
    So my question is, can we apply any other object that makes the field group being directly depending of the account group, as we can see for example activities for each account group having something similar for field group and account group?
    Can someone please explain me step-by-step how I can do this work even if by another method?
    I´m quite new on this issues and I really need your wisdom to find a solution for this.
    Many thanks
    Katjia

    Hi Manoj
    The debate is each inidividual business unit has defined different account groups for the same vendor in their respective systems.
    The question is : What is the best practice-- Should we keep Vendor account group as main table field and define Vendors with one unique account groups OR we maintain the account group in qualified table each pointing to different business unit.
    In my opinion this is going to be very complex solution. Ideally we need to define all the Harmonization rules before syndicating data to different target systems.
    Is this possibel that the same vendor record which is existing as vendor of different account groups in different systems have same set of attributes. If yes then enabling the remote key for Account group Lookup field is one option and defining a unique Account group 'AG" (which is mapped to say AG1 from remote system1, AG2 from remote system2 and so on..)..
    Managing this via Qualified table will be very complex and not advisabel. As Rajesh also mentioned Account Group in MDM should be considered as Global attribute and all such harmonization rules should be defined in your project. AG1=AG2=AG in above exmaple.
    Hope this clarifies.
    Thanks-Ravi

    There is definitely more amusing endeavours in this world, than trying to understand why an SQL Server install failed. The log files are verbose - but somehow the real information about what went wrong seems to be hiding. Never have proverb about not being

    What account? I supposed you have already asked yourself that and just shaken your head.
    But there is another error code 2203, NET HELPMSG 2203 says "The password parameter is invalid." And I note that the source is apparently on a share.
    So where is my guess: the MSI installer - which runs as a service, somehow does not have permissions to read the installation from the share. Or is trying to log on to the share with your username/password? No, I don't know, I am just speculating widely.
    But my advice would be to copy the installation directory from the share to a local disk.
    Maybe that CryptAcquireContext is significant as well - I don't know.
    Oh, wait, here is something just before the section above in the log:
    MSI (s) (F4:EC) [09:04:15:729]: Note: 1: 2205 2:  3: Environment
    MSI (s) (F4:EC) [09:04:15:729]: Note: 1: 2228 2:  3: Environment 4: SELECT `Name`,`Value` FROM `Environment`,`Component` WHERE `Component_`=`Component` AND (`Component`.`Action` = 1 OR `Component`.`Action` = 2)
    Action start 9:04:15: WriteEnvironmentStrings.
    2205 is "The logon processor did not add the message alias." I see that in a successful log that I have, so that is probably benign. But 2228 seems to be
    "There are too many names in the user accounts database."
    Exactly what that means, I have no clue, but it could be a Windows problem.

    Please help!
    Samnang.

    Hi SSamnang,
    According to your description, you come across the error that the specific account already exists. Please help to share the complete error log in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log\20150102_161500\SSCRuntime_Cpu32_1.log. You could
    use google drive to upload the error log following the steps in the article:
    https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2424368?hl=en
    From the exception help link, we notice that, the issue could be due to that an attempt fails to install SQL Server Native Client on a computer where SQL Server Native Client is already installed.
    I recommend you to check if there is already an existing SQL Server Native Client on your computer. If there is an existing one, you could uninstall it and install SQL Server again.
    In addition, there is a similar thread for reference:
