Configuration attributes on the command line

I use in a command line -Dweblogic.configurl="t3://localhost:7001" when I
start the weblogic.
configurl is my own attribute.
How I can get the attribute value "t3://localhost:7001" inside the Bean.
I tried System.getParameter("configurl") but it doesen't work.
-Jussi

I beleive -Dweblogic.RootDirectory=<mydirname> will do the trick.

he/she created should use a directory other than the weblogic
installation directory as the working directory (for creating the log

this that user B does not have write access to the weblogic

Is there a way to change the working directory of the managed server

Bug: Watson #2652870 - use a property file to drive the custom configuration tokens as opposed to setting it in the command line
    QA: Yes
Doc: Yes - in custom tokens section, talk about the new token.file option
    Checkintests: Pass
Details: Changed TokenReplacer to look for a token.file JVM option. If it's specified (eg. -Dtoken.file=/User/matamel/Desktop/token.properties), then TokenReplacer looks for a properties file where token name and values are specified. This allows someone to specify a file for custom tokens. Custom tokens can still be specified as straight JVM option and in case where a token is defined both as a JVM option and in a token properties file, JVM option takes precedence.
    Modified Paths:
        blazeds/trunk/modules/common/src/flex/messaging/config/TokenReplacer.java

Remember that Arch Arm is a different distribution, but we try to bend the rules and provide limited support for them.  This may or may not be unique to Arch Arm, so you might try asking on their forums as well.

Hot to configure shell or system path to include the folder to which (TF client) unzipped archive available. I am new to Mac X OS. Please help.

    Dmitry,
    Thanks for the great writeup!
I think I've got my universal instant client libraries built correctly.
I too am using MacBook Pro but I'm getting stuck at building the 32 bit oci8.so
First problem is my pecl download (ver 1.4.1) did not contain a "configure" file so ./configure failed.
I used configure from /sw/....... to try to continue.
Second problem. Using existing configure from /sw/.... I used an appropriate variation of your example command
    (./configure --with-oci8=instantclient,/usr/local/oracle/instantclient_10_2 && make).
Things look like everything ran OK but The output does NOT include an oci8.so file
So I guess my question is: Which "configure" should I be using? And if it is not the one on the system under /sw/...
where would I get it since it doesn't come in the pecl download?

  • How can hide the command line of a t.code in the portal

    Dear Experts.
    I have the following doubt:
How can hide the Command Line of a Report that is called with a T.Code in the portal?
    Attach Image:
    [Image T.Code|http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/eab3b6a03c.jpg]
When I created a service using the T.Code SICF for the T.Code , I can hide buttons and the filed command line  using
    ~webgui_simple_toolbar
    ~singletransaction
    ~NOHEADEROKCODE
With notes 1010519, "SAP GUI for HTML: Simplified Title Area Without Menu and OK Code" and 959417.
But the problem is that when I create the service in the T.Code SICF, I also have that create an Iview IAC in the portal.
The Question is : How can hide this fields and buttons if I want Publish the T.code using an Iview Transaction in the portal?
In this moment I have used the two options:
1 option) I created a service using the t.Code SICF for my Transaction and I also created an Iview IAC in the portal for call the service.
    RESULT:
    SAP Web Application Server
             500 Connection timed out
            Error: -5
           Version: 7000

           Server: xyxab...
    Error Tag: {-}
Detail: Connection to partner timed out after 60s
    2)  created an Iview Transaction  in the portal and  call my transaction.
    RESULT.
    [Image T.Code|http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/eab3b6a03c.jpg]
But not can hide the field Command Line and other buttons.
I think that the command :
    ~webgui_simple_toolbar
    ~singletransaction
    ~NOHEADEROKCODE
Only can be used if I create a service using the T.Code SICF .
    Best Regards
    Carmen.

    Hi Carmen,
The bottom line is that this cannot be done for transaction iviews without modifying the standard webgui service in SICF, which is probably not a good idea (since it affects everyone using SAP GUI for HTML). (You could hack the appintegrator to add the ~webgui_simple_toolbar parameter to the transaction URL template in the portal, but again its not a recommended thing to do ...). Better to create an IAC service in SICF with ~webgui=1 where you set the required appearance using an appropriate value for ~webgui_simple_toolbar, and then create an IAC iview to point at this service.
You can even override the ~transaction value configured in the new service in individual IAC iviews by entering the appropriate value in the application parameter of the iview, for example:
    ~okcode=/nSU01
And you can pass parameters in the same way:
    ~okcode=/nSU01 USR02-BNAME=xyz;USREFUS-USERALIAS=abc;
By the way, it would not be recommended to create a URL iview to access an IAC, since you are likely to encounter session management issues in this scenario - better to use an IAC iview.

    Hooray, one more convert
I haven't really followed the discussion either but why choose an "emulated cdrecord" that doesn't work instead of the real program that works great?

  • Getting SimpleChat.mxml example running in the command-line

    Hi,
I am working on getting a connection to cocomo working. Unfortunately, the documentation is highly unclear about how to get this running from the command-line(not to mention the example file in flash builder 4 crashes when run...).
Directly run, this is the error I'm getting:
    $ /Developer/flex_sdk_4/bin/mxmlc cocomo_load.mxml
    Loading configuration file /Developer/flex_sdk_4/frameworks/flex-config.xml
/Users/vlion/Documents/work/flixn/repos/vss/sandbox/cocomo_load.mxml(72): Error: Could not resolve  to a component implementation.
/Users/vlion/Documents/work/flixn/repos/vss/sandbox/cocomo_load.mxml(84): Error: Could not resolve  to a component implementation.
When adding --show-actionscript-warnings=true --strict=true, I get the same warning.
I have afcs.swc in the directory I'm running this from.
However, when run with --library-path=., I receive a slew of "could not find resource bundle for local en_US" warnings. Setting the local to en_US doesn't help the matter.
Reviewing the discussions I found online, this appears to be related to namespace issues. However, it is unclear what the namespace issue is.
What, exactly, is the problem, and what needs to be set to resolve it?
Message was edited by: pnathan_: added filename and some readability formatting.

    Hi,
Thanks for bringing this in notice to us. Since we were not building the examples in command-line with flex 4,  we didn’t see this problem earlier.
The problem happened because our LCCS components were built with halo component and namespace in flex 3. So, when you are using the spark framework and flex 4, if you do not mention that you also need the halo theme , our components won't work. Flex Builder takes care for it but while doing command-line compiling you need to mention the theme specifically. If you run your current script with Flex 3 sdks, it would have built fine. This has nothing to do with our namespaces or using locale.
I am attaching a quick ant build script which I used to build our DefaultPods example with Flex 4 sdks( this script file is in same folder as DefaultPods.mxml).
You can see the build  script and make any changes ( since I used for windows) and let us know if everything works fine for you.
Thanks again for bringing it to our notice. We will make sure that this gets added to the docs in next-release.
    Thanks

  • [svn] 2716: SDK-15848 - Conditional compilation constants defined in flex-config. xml are never used if a single constant is specified on the command line

    Revision: 2716
    Author: [email protected]
    Date: 2008-08-04 01:18:12 -0700 (Mon, 04 Aug 2008)
    Log Message:
SDK-15848 - Conditional compilation constants defined in flex-config.xml are never used if a single constant is specified on the command line
    * There's a possibility this will break a conditional complication test which disallows overwriting an existing definition -- I don't know if that will break the build, but the test should be removed either way.
    * Using append syntax ("-define+=" on the command line or ant tasks, or append="true" in flex-config) and redefining a value works now if you use an already-defined namespace and name.
    * So your flex-config may have -define=CONFIG::debug,false, and you may want -define+=CONFIG::debug,true from the commandline build, or FB build.
    * Made the ASC ConfigVar fields final as a sanity check since overwriting is now allowed. It would be harder to track changes and subtle bugs if they were mutable. This means that you must build a new ConfigVar object if you need to make changes.
    Bugs: SDK-15848
QA: Yes. Please read the updated javadocs in CompilerConfiguration. Tests need to be added to validate that overwriting is allowed, and happens correctly in different situations: I believe the order should be that flex-config is overwritten by a custom config (can we have more than one user config? is the order deterministic? I forget...), is overwritten by commandline or OEM. Did I miss any? (I didn't write code which changes this, it works however the existing configuration system allows overwriting and appending; if we have tests for that, maybe we don't need them duplicated for this feature.)
Doc: Yes. Please read the updated javadocs in CompilerConfiguration.

  • Sending Reporting Services report via the command line

I would like to either execute a subscription that sends a report via email on demand.  That or just email the report without having to edit the subscription date.  Can this be done from the command line?  I see there is the rs.exe utility
that allows you to deploy reports and run configuration commands, but I would like to execute and email the report.  Is this possible?

The easiest way to run a subscription manually is to run the agent job in SQL server that is associated to the subscription.  You'll need to know the subscription ID to do that.  So, you could either run it through SSMS, or if it needs to be in
command line, interact with SQL Server via command line and do so.
You can use the ReportService2010 API methods and and powershell script to identify the subscription ID

I think it is not supported through ant script and you may have to contact Oracle Support. Please go through below thread (hisaak's reply) -
