Hi,
I'm just testing out creating a web service from an ABAP function module in NW 7.0
I created a simple function that takes a string and returns it.
I created the web service in se80.
I am in SOAManager , web service administration and created a service and a port.
When I try to save the service configuration , I get the following error :
Configuration is invalid : bindings of configuration are in different namespaces.
What does this mean ? Are there restrictions applying to the types I use in the function definition ?
I used simple char0064 as input and output parameter.

Hi Thierry,
When your service name appears in the SOA Manager there might be a default service and a default end point binding that might be created.
So i suggest you, create a new endpoint in SOAManager for that service itself. Once end point is created give a userid/pass in the security settings and do rest all settings as per requirement. Then save it. Dont touch upon the default end point created by itself.
I guess this will solve your problem.
When using WSDL for service consumption make sure to use the wsdl file for the endpoint that you have created rather than the default endpoint.

You can't. Things are handled by the WLC.

A. The LAP APs cannot handle SNMP messages on their own. In order to handle SNMP messages, you should configure an SNMP community on the WLC to which the LAP is registered. All the AP information is managed by the WLC.

The Configuration Area could not be created (HANA Studio)

This message is posted in case some else comes across this issue. After installing the SAP Hana Studion, I was continually receiving the following message:
"The Configuration Area at 'c:\Users\U\.eclipse\org.eclipse.platform_3.5.0_1152700900\configuration' could not be created. Please choose a writable location using the '-configuration' command line option'.
After trying to mess around with the command line option, I found that I needed to run the Hana Studio as an Administrator. ie, right click on the HANA Studio icon and select 'Run as Administrator' from the context menu.

If this is a new setup discard existing web application along with site and content database. Recreate the same web application and try provisioning PWA with new databases

Error in SMW01 Invalid sales and distribution area

issue: Suddenly some BP's Bdoc's(BUPA_MAIN) are getting failed and In CRM smw01 shows the below message
1)Invalid sales and distribution area, CRM_ORGMAN, 203
2)Validation error occurred: Module CRM_BUPA_MAIN_VAL, BDoc type BUPA_MAIN.,SMW3
When i check the Bp data in CRM sales are is successfully updated and Buffer HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE also updating schedule.
when i am trying to reprocess the error Bdocs system gives the message that "Bdoc successfully processed,0 Bdoc failed".
what is the reason for this error Bdoc's, how to clear this error Bdoc's suggest ?

Which BC4J / JDBC pooling configurations are global for a JVM?

There are several documents and postings saying that some of the BC4J / JDBC Pooling properties are unique for the JVM.
So if i have 3 WAR files with 3 different settings in bc4j.xcfg (transaction factory, pooling settings) some of the settings are ignored after the first AM Pool is instanciated. This could be the reason for some "unreproducable" problems we have.
So please provide us a list, which properties additional to the ones below are global per JVM and which are really used from the bc4j.xcfg.
1. Getting the Connection object out of ApplicationModule says about the TransactionFactory
Please not that this property is a static BC4J property. Meaning that the value of this property when the first ApplicationModule is created is the value which will be used. If you have multiple ApplicationPool(s) then it is necessary to define the property in all configurations, dynamically, or as a system property.
2. http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/tips/muench/ampooling/index.html says about jbo.ampool.monitorsleepinterval
Since there is only a single application monitor pool monitor per Java VM, the value that will effectively be used for the AM pool monitor polling interval will be the value found in the AM configuration read by the first AM pool that gets created. To make sure this value is set in a predictable way, it is best practice for all application modules to use the same Pool Polling Interval value.

Since the tuning parameters for all ADF database connection pools - regardless of <JDBCURL,Username> value - will be set based on the parameters found in the configuration for the first AM pool that is created. To insure the most predictable behavior, it is best practice to leave the values of the parameters in the Connnection Pooling section of the Pooling and Scalability tab at their default values - so that no entry for them is written into the bc4j.xcfg file - and to instead set the desired values for the database connection pooling tuning parameters as Java System Parameters in your J2EE container.
Sounds like this means the parameters: jbo.initpoolsize, jbo.maxpoolsize, jbo.poolmonitorsleepinterval, jbo.poolmaxavailablesize, jbo.poolminavailablesize, jbo.poolmaxinactiveage ?
4. And http://oracle-web.petersons.com/bc4jdoc/bc_aappmodpooling.htm tells There is one connection pool manager for each business logic tier's Java VM. Connections remain in the pool until the Java VM stops running.

Just another funny observation regarding BC4J parameter settings in 9.0.5.2:
Setting jbo.ampool.sessioncookiefactoryclass in the jboserver.properties is ignored. Setting in bc4j.xcfg works.

After my last reconfig, I tried to load the drivers for the sound card. I kept getting a problem with the computer restarting in mid-install. After finishing the install in Safe Mode, I went to load a midi file and my computer restarted without warning. After trying to upgrade to the new beta drivers, my computer restarted once more (stopping at the soundfont driver). Apparently, the SoundFont drivers no longer work in my setup. I'm currently using the MS GS Wavetable Synth for MIDI.

I had created a sale order with sales are 1000,10 ( direct sales) and 00 , but business had told that our dist channle must be 50 Trading not direct , alredy business had done a sales order with 10 dist channel after that they changed the requirement stating that it must be with 50 trading. we have configured accordingly and removed the previous assignmnets.
But now i am not able to view that sales order which we have created erlier, because i want to delete that order because stock is reserved with that sales order.
kinldy suggest me how to delete that order.

Hi
The sales order will be in the system and can be displayed eventhough If you delete the assignment of order type OR with sales area 1000,10,00 and make new assignment(Assign sales order types permitted for sales areas ).
I had created a sales order with 1000, 10, 10 sales area, then _*i had deleted the org assignmnets*_ and in Assign sales order types permitted for sales areas.
The problem here is you have dismantled the org structure that is you have removed the org assignments. It is clear by your above statement. Then in this case you can not view any sales order which was originally created for the old sales area(1000,10,00).
So you have to either setup your old org(1000,10,00) assignments and try to display and reschedule the old sales order or need to explore other options of deleting the sales order requirements.
I have simulated the above scenario and it works fine. Try the above to set up org structure again and do whatever you want to do with the old sales order and after finishing all your things, you again dismantle it.

Software Prerequisites in managed system configuration are not fulfilled

I'm facing a problem when I configure a PI system in managed system configuration. I register the Netweaver PI AS ABAP technical system to solman's SLD directly(run RZ70), and collect the information of the Netweaver PI AS JAVA from the PI's sld. I don't know whether it matters.
The following error occurs when I Check Prerequisites:
J2EE-FRMW does not fulfill the prerequisites (installed: 7.11 SP0, expected: 7.11 SP001)
But I don't know how to find J2EE-FRMW 7.11 SP001 and do some update, please give me some advice.

Steps to follow
- Rename the J2EEFRMW01_5-20002637.zip file to J2EEFRMW01_5-20002637.SCA.
-telnet localhost 5$$08
-logon with the user administrator
- deploy /software/j2eefrmwpatch/J2EEFRMW01_5-20002637.SCA version_rule=all
- Once it is done , then trigger the data to the SLD
- Checked the software component in SLD
- Resync the LMDB with SLD
- Then performed the activity of manage system Configuration.

My Spa booker POS printer configurations are screwed up since last update.

I have been usung spabooker for 2 years and have configured my CUPS printer a Star tsp 600 a number of times. I am using a mac with OSx 10.6.8. The printer margins were working fine on both of my computers until they upgraded to firefox 6.0. Then they both lost all the configurations and the receipt prints either out of alignment or I can set it to print very small.
The tech support at Star went through the CUPs again and we could not fix it. I remember once this happened before and I need to program the firefox sopftware. I cannot remember what i did last time though. Can you help?

Turns out it was a loose ethernet cable into the Basestation! Just cleaning house here.

I'm a newbie looking for the best compromise budget Mac for AVCHD 1080p video editing with Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere CS6 and Adobe Aftereffects. The storage space is not important as I'm planning to keep all the files on a Thunderbolt-connected EHD (any comments on this?).

SDH is the parent to child relationship for forms.
I would suggest you create a new version of the child form, make it active. Create a new version of the parent form, and on the child form tab, add/update the child table associated with it. Make the parent form active. Now export your object again.

One of the commonly occuring error status - 26(Syntax error in Idoc) Outbound
The reason for the occurence of this error is mostly related to the structuring of the segments in the IDoc, the normal structure should have a parent segment followed by the sub segments but in cases when that fails to happen, the Idoc is in 26 status. For correction of this error goto WE30 and check if the mandatory segment is checked.

This normally occurs due to the incorrect data being populated in the segments or it could also be related to serialization.

ISP shared server configuration -- are they nuts?

Help! I don't know if I'm being fed a line by my ISP or not.
I am in the process of moving my organization's Web site to a shared Solaris server hosted by one of the big ISPs.
When I was given the IP address and FTP'd to the site to start transferring files, I found I could navigate all the way up to the root of the Solaris server. All of the standard Unix directories seem to be visible, such as dev, usr, bin, etc. Although my user rights appear to be limited -- I can't copy a file into usr/games for example -- I can clearly see the folder names for the other clients sharing the server (although I could not see their individual files) and can FTP back some of the operating system software, including a quota file. Some of the folder names are pretty obviously the names of the other companies sharing the site.
This is not how my previous hosting service handled things. They mapped the customer account to the root of the customer's home directory and I could not see anything of the host server, other customer folders, or the operating system. Nor could I see other client's home directories.
I've been told by the hosting company that these rights are granted because "a customer not 'living' in a chroot'ed environment can overflow a buffer in a command that has additional privileges and gain root access, thereby granting themselves greater access than they should have."
Isn't there a better solution to this problem that doesn't end up inadvertently disclosing the identity of the other businesses sharing the host server? Or am I just being neurotic and this is standard ISP practice for shared boxes?

Thanks a lot and i know the reason now but i removed the conn=2 form the dispatchers parameter value but immediately after this i got error message
ORA-12518: TNS:listener could not hand off client connection
and users were not able to connect with the database so i changed value back. Why did i receive this error message? any idea
