Configuration Manager Error

Hi,
I have got SQL 2005 Developer edition running and Websphere 6.1 installed, however when I run the LC configuration manager, at the steps where it tests the connection to websphere server, I get the following error:
Failed to run JACL scripts.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

I don't remember what happened, but I think I rebooted the machine and it configured fine after the reboot.
Thanks anyway.

  • Configuration Manager Error - (-9986)Session to local database...

Hello guys, I'm with a little problem.
When I try to open the Configuration Manager in a Sprowler Server, and appears this error: (-9986)Session to local database could not be opened.
But i try to resolve this problem at ODBC Connection (ODBC Data Source). But all connections is ok.
I saw that some processes of distributor are oscillating(Distributor rclient). So I saw in distributor log this error:
10:24:49 dis-nm ICM\ucce\Distributor node error checking health of process rtc.
Last API Error [109]: The pipe has been ended.
10:24:49 dis-nm Process rtc on ICM\ucce\Distributor is down after running for 0 seconds. It will restart after delaying 1 seconds for related operations to complete.
But in SQL Server, the Named Pipes is enable, in second position. I disable the Firewall but no success.
I don't able to open the Configuration Manager. Somebody can help me?
    Thanks.

    OK, very good.
Just so I completely understand this ... On the Distributor AW, part of your Sprawler, can you use the Config Tool OK? If so, this means that the real-time feed is established to the Distributor and it can see the local database and so on.
    Is the rtdist process running?
Now on the AW Client. Assuming  this is configured correctly, it connects to the Distributor. Check the rtdist process to see your client AW IP address connect. Do you see this?
(I feel like we have discussed this before)

  • RemoteApp/Terminal Services Configuration Manager Errors

I'm having an issue with my TS server where I get the following message when I start the TS config manager
"Unable to complete operation: Not Found."
Also, I'm getting an error when I try to start the RemoteApp Manager
"The list of RemoteApp programs cannot be accessed. Verify that the management console is connected to the correct server and that you have Administrator privileges on the server, and then try again."
I've been running Win2k8 TS for about two months and everythng worked just fine for about the first 45 day, then I started to get these errors. I have admin rights, and nothing else to my knowledge has changed on the box. My thought is that I likely need to remove TS and then reinstall, but it's a production box that run our main business software and I really don't feel like starting over again if I don't have to, so I wanted to see if anyone had experienced or seen this issue?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    I solved this issue by:
unistalling Dell Management software, uninstalling Antimalware software (just to make sure it did not get in my way), rebooting, and then running:
    winmgmt /resetrepository

  • SSRS Database Configuration Manager Error - Could not connect to server: The type initializer for 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection' threw an exception

I'm Getting the "Could not connect to server: The type initializer for 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection' threw an exception" Error on an existing Instance of SSRS that had been working previously (lots of installs/patches since).
Any time I try to hit the "Test Connection" button on existing connections or create new ones from the SSRS Config Mgr., it throws that error.
I know the SQL Server connectivity works (I have SSMS installed on there and can cut and paste server Login to connect). The problem is I can't really get any more details on the error...Event Viewer isn't logging anything, I have upped the trace level
to 4 in the reportingservicesservice.config file, I have even watched it with procmon and nothing obvious pops up.
Let me know if anyone else has been down this path and what they have tried.

    Hi BillOlive,
Based on my research, the issue may be related to user access permission. You can refer to the following method to troubleshooting the issue:
Open C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG folder | right click on the machine.config file | Properties | Security | make sure your domain account has FULL CONTROL permission on this file.
If above steps still do not work, please backup your machine.config file to somewhere else and replace with the attached one from my Windows Server 2008 environment.
Alternatively, app.config file also may cause the same issue. There is a similar issue, you can refer to it.

  • SQL server configuration Manager - WMI error.

I'm having an issue accessing SQL server configuration Manager on windows server 2012 64 bit.
Cannot connect to WMI provider. You do not have permission or the server is unreachable. Note that you can only manager SQL server 2005 and later servers with SQL Server Configuration Manager. Class does not exist. [0x8070583].
Any solution or workaround would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, the link you provided discuss the same issue but for a different class number, Invalid class [0x8004100]

  • Configuration Manager SMS_POLICY_PROVIDER critical error

Guys I just installed System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager. I only have one primary site we are using two servers a standalone SQL 2012 box and the Configuration Manger Server. If I look at the components I'm getting a critical error on SMS_POLICY_PROVIDER
I have no idea how to properly trouble shoot this error the Windows event logs are useless. Also there are a ton of logs in my System Center log directory. So which log should I be looking at in order to trouble shoot this problem  also can someone here
actually tell me what critical means on SMS_POLICY_PROVIDER?

    Hi,
I recommend you check policypv.log on the site server for details.
It records updates to the client policies to reflect changes to client settings or deployments.

  • MDS Configuration Manager Create Web Application = Unexpected Error, Keyset does not exist (HRESULT: 0x80090016)

we are having Problems installing MDS on new sever.
    Server: Windows 2008 R2
SQL Server 2012 SP1 (Developer Edition)
In the Master Data Services Configuration Manager Wizard ...
    - DB Creation (Database Configuration) was succesfull
    - But we are stucked in the "Web Configuration", "Create Application" failes in both cases (Choose "Create new Website" or choose existing site like "Default Web Site")
    Error Message is alwasy:
Unexpected Error - An unexpected error occurred: Keyset does not exist (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80090016)
Any ideas? Are there any Extended logs created by Wizard activity? Windows Application Eventlog Shows nothing!

    Hi,
Just a gut feel. The issue may lie within IIS. I base this upon the fact that your database was created. The second part, the web configuration  is related to IIS. SQL Server 2012 should be set up with IIS7 or better still IIS8.
    This said..
Is IIS installed correctly? You can always de-install it and re-install it via the programs / windows features option off of the control panel.
Out of curiosity, did you by any chance have a previous 'bad install' of MDS. If so this may be a registry issue. When one starts talking 'Keyset', the registry comes to mind. A orphan keyset which is being called.
Also remember that in setting up the web application, that the installation will ask you for a User ID and password. If you are like us, our passwords change each 6 weeks and this create problems with bringing up the Master Data Manager AFTER a password
change. In fact I have often resorted to creating a 'new web site' with each password change BEFORE I decided to opt for using a Process ID, with an non expiring password to do your web configuration.
I do not know if I have answered your question, just a gut feel. Please do let us know if the steps that I mentioned resolve your issue.
    Sincerest regards

  • Error when opening configuration manager in the administration workstation

    Hello,
For some reason I get this error everytime I try to  open the configuration manager on the administration workstation. The error says "(-9934) Unable to initialize the real-time feed for instance cdi. Unable to proceed until the real-time can be established.  The feed may be inactive or you may
not have permission to connect to the feed."
Does anyone have any suggestions why I get this error?
    Thank You.

Once you login to the AW you should see all the aw processes in the task bar.You would even see this error if you simply do not use the /console option to login when using mstc.
I did not even consider that someone did not have the Distributor running - you are right.
But you have to adjust your thinking - "you should see all the aw processes in the task bar" - will not cut it with Windows 2008.
With 8.0 and onwards, perhaps you should consider mentioning the Portico.

  • Installation turnkey error verifying JBoss during the configuration manager setup

LiveCycle seems to install fine, then immediately after install, the Configuration Manager runs and I get an error "Failed on 'Verifying JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0 service is installed' Windows turnkey service JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0 does not exist".
I received the error in both the "express mode" and "custom mode" within the "turnkey mode" step of the configuration manager.
Has anyone seen this error before or know what causes this? We have tried installing on three different PC computers with the same error. The latest JDK1.6 is installed and environment variables created before install of LiveCycle.
Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? Th installer seems pretty straight forward.

    Before re-installing LiveCycle, ensure that:
    1) the JBoss and MySQL services are removed
sc delete "JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0"
sc delete "MySQLfor Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0"
    2) Delete the \Gen1 folder from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Install Shield\Universal\Adobe\LC8

Check your Windows registry if DisableAutoDaylightTimeSet exists in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation. If it exists, either set the value to 0 or delete it completely from the registry. There's a known issue with JRE and Windows for this.
(The above should be done on oracle database machine, and database & configuration manager might need restart).

  • Error in Agent Installation - oracle Configuration Manager

    Hi All,
I m trying to install Agent using this file "Linux_Grid_Control_agent_download_10_2_0_2_0". In between the installation "i got one screen - "oracle configuration manager proxy setting" even it is optional and i have not checked it .... it is not going next. i dont want to configure it (but when i give values proxy ip and port, not accept it). When I click the next button getting the message "The connection to oracle Configuration Manager can not be established, please check your network connection and proxy settings and try again"
    Please help with this
    Thanks
    Shiju

    Hi Shiju,
Is there any specific reason for using 10.2.0.2 agent. The latest Grid Control agent release is 10.2.0.5. I would suggest you to install the same. Also you can configure the OCM at a later point of time.
    Hope it helps
