Configuration steps to enable digital signature

Hi,
Can anybody please guide with the steps for enabling digital signature in form 16.
How to start with the configuration?
Thanks & Regards
Astha

hi Astha,
hope u r doing good.
some pointers for u r query from da note mentioned by Ayyappas.
Ask your BASIS guy to set up ur SMP ID .
It is now permitted to use Digital Signature on Form 16. Current Form 16 print program does not support this functionality
Prerequisites
SAP Note 1156084 - Sum of serial no. 18(a) & 18(b) incorrect on Form 16 PDF
Currently this solution supports single digital signature at a time. In case you have more than one digital signature uploaded in
the system, currently Form 16 will be signed with "Default" digital signature only.
Create connection between ADS (Adobe Document Services) and R/3 system:
This can be done through transaction 'SM59' --> connection type 'G' (HTTP Connection to External Server).
It is recommended that you create this connection with 'RFC Destination' name as 'ADS_HTTPS'.
Download:
.SAR attachment 480180 and 13719 should be downloaded with file names
Form16_DIGSIG.SAR for ECC 6.0 and Form16_DIGSIG.SAP
for ECC 604 release.
Perform the following manual activities:
o Execute Transaction code 'SE38'.
o Enter Program Name 'HINCF160' and select 'Change' option
o Select 'GOTO' from menu bar and select 'Text Elements' and then
'Text Symbols' from menu.
o Make the folloing new entries in Text Symbols

  • How to enable digital signature for browser enabled infopath form?

    Dear all,
I have designed infopath form and published it into the document library. I want to provide signature option on the browser enabled infopath form.
I have created it using secion and digital signature control.
but I am getting this message.
When i click on Yes . I get following screen.
And it just hang here. I have enabled the active x control feature for IE.
Please tell me where i should install this component and how it can be done?
I have access only to the sharepoint site.
    Thanks

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to enable digital signature for browser enabled infopath form.
To be able to sign this form, you need to activate two Windows Internet Explorer add-ons. Click the Information Bar in the dialog box, and then click Run ActiveX control to activate each add-on.
Then you need to active the following add-on.
In my environment, after I click the Next button, it open the picture as below.
Once I click the link to add the add-on as above, everthing works well.

  • How do I enable digital signatures in Reader?

I have created a form using Adobe Standard 9.2.  It has a digital signature field and no security settings.  The properties indicates that signing is allowed.  However, if I open the form with Reader 9.2, the properties indicate that signing is not allowed.  Using the Advanced menu, I then Extend Forms Fill-In and Save in Adobe Reader.  The pop-up window indicates that digital signing will be allowed but when I open the form in Reader, didgital signing is still not allowed.  Training from Linda.com appears to indicate that this should work.  Any suggestions?

    Hi,
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the core of the issue is that Acrobat Standard edition only allows the user to add the form fill-in and save Reader extension. In order to add the digital signature Reader extension you would either need Acrobat Pro (or Pro Extended), or the Adobe LiveCycle Reader Enablement server. The bottom line is you cannot do what you are looking to do with the Standard edition.

  • How to enable digital signature on my InforPath 2013 form?

Hi, I watched a training video in Lynda.com that in a section property of a form there should be a Digital Signature tab.  I created a Infopath 203 form and published to our sp2013.  Now I want to add the digital signature fields to this form in
3 sections but I don't see the tab.  Appreciate it if someone can tell me how to enable that
    Thank you.

HI, I read the article and I did try inserting a section in my form above, in the middle and below, selecting the section property dialog still shows now tabs for digital signature as explained in the link you provided and also in the Lynda.com training
    video.
If I start a new blank form then that works.  I guess I could recreate the form from scratch but would like to skip all that extra work if there is a way to fix this.
    thank you.

  • Digital Signature in Quality Notification

    All,
I am getting the following Information message  while trying to perform the Digital Signature for the quality notification
No signatures exist for the header of the notification 2000000091
I have activated the OPS functions using SFW5 and done the configuration for 'Specify Digital Signature' in configuration for the Quality Notification. Kindly let me know why this error occurs.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi all,
Just addining some more details to my previous post.
I have a problem with standard Digital Signature for Quality notifications. I'm talking about standard function from EHP 3 and higher where DS is available in IMG customizing.
All settings I know seems to be correct but still it does not work.
Here is what I set up (or was there already):
    - new standard function in IMG was activated by basis
    - configured SSF and PSE digital signature in STRUST  with SAPSECULIB, no errors
    - access to object C_SIGN_BGR is provided in authorization role
    - user SSF settings done in SU01 - SSF ID & profile name from STRUST application parameters, RFC destination SAP_SSFATGUI --> but I found that this is not really necesarry to maintain when using signature with user ID and password, or is it?
    - check programs SSF01 & SSF02 shows no errors
    - System statuses DSAC and DSCL added as allowed for other notification statuses in BS22
    - configured Signature Strategy with standard authorization group 00000001, and standard individual signature 00000001. Signature method is R Sap user and password.
    - configured step "Specify Digital Signature" for Quality notification (under QM->Notifications->Processing. Standard type F2, few business transactions like PMM2 (put in process) or PMM4 (close) . Assigned strategy created in previos step.
Now, even after above custimizing is done, still the Digital Signature in QN does not work. According to documentation, after setting up "Specify Digital Signature" for Quality notification, system status DSAC should be assigned. In fact in my case it is not.
I guess I've missed some steps - do any of you have any idea what to do?
Thanks a lot in advance and br,
    Bartek

  • Digital Signature while approving a document in KM

    Dear all,
We have a an approval enabled folder in KM. My question is, can we enable digital signature for documents in that folder?
Scenario will be like this. I'm an approver. When I approve I should be allowed to digitally sign on the document.
    Is this possible in KM?
    We are on EP 7.0 Ehp1 SP04.

  • Digital Signature and workflow functionality in Enh Pack

We are working in ECC 6.0 environment. Recentaly we have activated Enh Pack 3 and 4 in our system. After that I can couple of additional QM functionality in system. SAP has provided few more settings in SPRO to activate digital signature in QN and workflow in standard peace.
I would be wonder if anyone has used those function in standard system without any custom development.
How can we use/ activate those (digital signature for QN and workflow) functionality? Reply appreciated.

SAP IMG > Quality Management> Quality Notifications> Notification processing> Specify Digital Signature
    Give details like
    Level -Header /Task Notification Type
    Business
       Transaction
    Signature Type
    Strategy
Enter the Business Transaction: like PMM2 for Put notification in process,PMM4 for Complete notification,     QN40 for Release Task etc
Depending on your configuration systems asks for digital  signature when you set header level status or Task level status
Means if u set Digital signature for PMM2 for Put notification in process system prompts for Digital siganture.

  • PDF Generation with Digital Signature

    Hi All,
We have a requirement to attach digital signature to the generated PDF output.
I am trying to use 'SSF' function modules from the function group 'SSFG' to achieve this.
Can anyone let me know the detailed steps to attach digital signature to a file and later verify it from the customer's end?

    Hi.....
    Thnq for the reply.
I think its not a correct procedure.
Its not a just a simple image that is uploaded into SAP and can be used.
For putting a Digital Signture one has to buy a certificate from a authority ,
with that certficate one has a set of Public and Proivate key... and algorithm which checks whether the PDF is changed after the sign is done.
and Most of all the Signature is legal Binding and can be Sued
    so we cannot do that

  • How to validate XML Digital Signature with XML DB (o PL/SQL) in Oracle 11g

    Hi,
Do you know if there is possibility to validate XML Digital Signature using XML DB (or PL/SQL) in Oracle 11g?
Let say I have CLOB/XMLType containing Digitally Signed XML, and I want to validate, that thsi is proper signature. I also have public key of signer (I could store it in CLOB or file or Oracle wallet).
    Is it possible to do?
If there is need to install additional component - then which one?
    Regards,
    Paweł

    Hi,
this is what i got from someone...
but the links he gave are not opening up...
u have to place a picture there and have to load the digital signatures as Jpegs on to the server to OA top
and have to refer them in the XML for dynamically get the signature on the reports
when u select the properties of the picture placed in the XML template,
there will be one tab with "URL"... in that u have to give the path for that jpegs
Pls refer the following documents for enabling digital signature on pdf documents.

  • Digital Signature in SAP DMS

    Hello,
We want to implement digital signatures in SAP DMS, but we're not sure on how to accomplish it. We have the following scenario:
    1. All the users have a digital certificate which is part of the Portuguese ID card;
    2. Currently we're all using this certificate to digitally sign e-mails (they use their laptops integrated card reader), for example;
    3. We also want to use this certificate to sign DMS documents.
Do you think the above mentioned scenario is possible without licensing additional software? If so, can you guide me through the customization steps?
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards,
    Ricardo

    Hi Ricardo,
It is quite possible to achieve your requirements using the digital signature strategy available in SAP DMS. I have previoulsy answered the steps involved [here|Digital Signature on Original File; and you may additionally look up [Wiki|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/PLM/Digitalsignaturein+DMS] and [SAP Help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_470/helpdata/en/9f/857f3a1c7b11d294d200a0c92f024a/frameset.htm] as well.
In your case, more specifically, you need to adopt the signature method during customization as 'User signature with external security product with/without verification' for which your I-Card reader would also be required.

  • Disabling Digital Signatures

    Hi,
Can anyone give me some solid evidence that disabling digital signatures on our 2003 network (for our 10 mac users) would be a good alternative? Right now we have 125 PC's and 10 Mac computers on our network using Active Directory.
I have also seen documentation regarding the issue of enabling digital signatures (if client agrees). Is there evidence or technical manuals at Microsoft's website that they agree that this is a secure alternative?
We have attempted to use AdmitMac to no avail.
    -Kevin

This page on Microsoft's website should give you a fairly comprehensive overview of the policy and SMB clients.
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;887429
If you deal with SOX or are a security conscious company then disabling this policy isn't recommended. You should look into a third party SMB solution such as "Dave" or "ADMitMac" from http://www.thursby.com or a third party AFP solution for your server such as "ExtremeZ-IP" from http://www.grouplogic.com.
    Hope this helps! bill

  • Need help with implementing Digital Signatures

    Hello,
Here's an excerpt from a security book:
To create a digital signature, a sender first takes the original plaintext message and runs it through a hash function.
The Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-1) is the standard for hash functions.
The hash value is also known as a message digest.
Next, the sender uses the its private key to encrypt the message digest. This step creates
a digital signature and authenticates the sender, since only the owner of that private key could
encrypt the message. The sender encrypts the original message with the receiver’s public key
and sends the encrypted message and the digital signature to the receiver.
The receiver uses the sender’s public key to decipher the original digital signature and reveal the message
digest. The receiver then uses his or her own private key to decipher the original message.
Finally, the receiver applies the agreed upon hash function (e.g. SHA-1 or MD5) to the original
message. If the hash value of the original message matches the message digest included
in the signature, there is message integrity-the message has not been altered in transmission.
I would like to implement the sender's part and create an encrypted message and the digital signature.
Suppose I have in hand a message (let's call it myMessage), my private key (let's call it myPrivateKey) and the receiver's public key (let's call it receiverPublicKey).
In order to encrypt the original message with the receiver’s public key I've implemented this piece of code:
    Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("RSA");
    cipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE,receiverPublicKey);
    byte[] binaryCryptData = cipher.doFinal(myMessage.getBytes());
    String encPayload = Base64.byteArrayToBase64(binaryCryptData);
return encPayload; In order to create the signature I've implemented this piece of code:
    Signature RSA = Signature.getInstance("SHA1withRSA");
    RSA.initSign(myPrivateKey);
    byte bt[] = message.getBytes();
    RSA.update(bt);
byte[] signature = RSA.sign();My assumption is that I don't follow the exact guidlines in the book for the sender.
Can someone please let me know what I'm missing and help me in adjusting my code with the books standards?
    Thank you in advance,
    Roy

    it's your homework, not ours.
Congratulations on typing in everything BUT the most important part that it's all about, but that's not enough.

  • Handling digital signatures

Ive read that you can enable digital signatures in PDF
documents, but can you lock down the document once the signature is
applied ? Once the PDF is signed, I dont want the user to be able
to modify anything. Is this possible ?

Thanks, im fairly new to Acrobat, as others in my group are
the Acrobat users. To date, their use of Acrobat has been very
limited to mostly converting MS Word documents to PDF. There is
talk of creating fillable forms using these PDF files. There would
be multiple signatures within the PDF, but only one of them (the
customers signature) should cause the locking of the file so that
it cant be edited any longer, yet can still be read.
Can a PDF be filled out and signed all within the Adobe
reader, provided the signature components are installed ? Speaking
of which, what are the extra components needed for handling
signatures that can tie in to these Adobe functions to lock the
    form?
My role is that of a software developer, and I would be
tasked to parse through the data on the forms. The PDF files would
be uploaded to a folder on a server, and then a process would run
to parse each of them to extract the data. However, Im also trying
to find out if its even possible build the PDF's in such a way that
our end users wont need Acrobat licenses to fill in the forms and
save them, complete with digital signatures.

  • How to configure CoSign Electronic Digital Signatures for UCM 11g

    Hi everyone,
current I am doing a UCM poc with CoSign Electronic Digital Signature for a customer, this case is that when user approve a check-in PDF document in workflow, the user can use "sign and approve" to invoke the electronic digital signature action.
since ECM 11g is based on weblogic, I configured the keystore for the weblogic as the below steps:
    1) use keytool to import a keystrore file just as cosigncert.jks from the cert file which provided by the vendor CoSign.
    2) Security Realms->myRealm->Providers->Credential Mapping, create a new provider using "PKI Credential Mapping Provider" and configure the storekey cosigncert.jks for this provider.
    3) Security Realms->myRealm->Providers->Authentication, select DefaultIdentityAsserter and add x509
    4) configure storekey for AdminServer and UCM managerServer using cosigncert.jks
    5) configure SSL for AdminServer and UCM managerServer.
after finishing this steps, access the UCM console to do the approve with siginature. but it always throw "can not find the validate certification path"
does any one know which step missing?
    Thanks & Regards
