Configure for no smtp authentication

Hi all,
I have one machine (192.168.0.10)
I have domain a.com, b.com and c.com.
1. Is it possible to configure messaging server without needing SMTP authentication when this machine (192.168.0.10) sent the email out?
2. I also want to limit above IP address sending (with no SMTP authentication) to only domain c.com. Is it possible technically?
Following is my messaging server version:

This will cause any emails coming from that machine to be regarded as "INTERNAL" (tcp_intranet source channel) and will not require SMTP authentication to relay emails.

In our java web application trying establish the connection for sharePoint 2013
using Windows claims authentication (NTLM ), I am getting error message "Server was unable to process request. ---> Site is not configured for Claims Forms Authentication". But In the Sharepoint 2013 our Site is is configured for Windows
claims only.
In the Sharepoint 2013 server in the IIS manager settings for authentication it is enabled for both Windows claims and Forms authentication,
but if I disable Forms authentication that I will be able to connect it through my application but with the direct access i.e., by running the URL in the browser I am not able to connect getting error message "sorry this site has not been shared with
you" in the browser Kindly help me on this.

Hi,
This issue is always caused that you had missed FBA configuration in web config of your web application.
You can configure the FBA authentication then check whether it works.

Site is not configured for Claims Forms Authentication

Hi All
I have one custom login page for my Sharepoint 2013 site where i am trying to use
SPClaimsUtility.AuthenticateFormsUser(uri, strUserName, strPwd);
But i am getting this exception ---> Site is not configured for Claims Forms Authentication
I checked ULS long and there it is --> Not in claims forms auth for url 'https://domain/sitecollection/'.

Javamail check for no SMTP authentication required

Some SMTP servers do not require authentication and with raw SMTP, you can send a MAIL FROM: <[email protected]> and if authentication is required, it will notify. However, I don't know if there is an easy built in way to do this with JavaMail (or if it is possible right now).

Thanks for the answer. Is there a way of doing it without sending the message? I wonder if I can just initiate sending to get the authentication error? Basically, if error - it will be interrupted by Authentication error. But if all goes well, it will be sent. I don't want it to be sent. I just wonder can we initiate sending, issue some commands (to provocate auth error), and if all goes good close connection (to avoid dummy mail to be sent). Here is how I saw that it could be done from telnet (at least on some servers) and wonder if it can be done in JavaMail:

Now we want to setup SAP SMTP so that emails / notifications can be sending through SAP via Microsoft Exchange Online. It is quite easy to configure for setting SMTP Services for locally hosted Exchange Server. But this is the first time I am trying to setup for Microsoft Exchange Online.

Smtp authentication for email invites with RTC

I'm trying to configure email invitations for Real-Time conferences and am following the documentation.
Problem I'm encountering is we use smtp host authentication with Exchange but I don't see any way to set this up for RTC invites.

Getting SPWeb.CurrentUser as null with Windows Authentication (AD), when configured for Claims Authentication

Hi All,
We recently migrated to SP 2013 from SP 2010. We are using most of the OOB features, with a few custom code. We have implemented a custom ASP.NET Membership Provider that authenticates against a web service. This was working fine on SP 2010.
The entire code base was migrated to SP 2013 (with .net fw 4.5, etc) and any issues Compile / Runtime were fixed. However, we are stuck at one bug, which seems to be occuring only while trying to login with Windows Authentication. When a user tries to login
with Forms Authentication, the error is never noticed.
Scenrio: Login as Windows Authentiction.
Result: The user is signed into the system and is authenticated against the AD. For random page loads - it throws access denied (even though he is a site collection admin). While attaching a debugger, we found that, at times the SPWeb.CurrentUser is null (weird).
At the same time, the HttpContext.Current.Request.IsAuthenticated returns true. Which means the User is Authenticated, but not available in the SPWeb.CurrentUser object.
Attached are couple of ULS Logs that we found. The line which says IsAuthenticated=True, UserIdentityName=, ClaimsCount=0 is a little disturbing. Can you please let me know what is happening here? I am not able to access the root site (http://win2012d2:1234/)
however, i am able to access (http://win2012d2:1234/SitePages/Home.aspx) just fine, without any issues.
Please note, this error is only when the user is logged into sharepoint as a windows user. The forms user faces no such issues.

According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when users login with Windows Authentication.
From the error message, I recommend to check if the anonymous access is enabled for the web application.
And please also make sure that the users all are available and have permission to access the site.

Just sync your old phone with your computere with itunes and when you sync your new phone it will put your muxic and dcontacts into the new phone. Make sure you have sync checked in the settings box.

but its still givin the same error...........I know this is an old message but I have just had the same problem and it seemed to mean that the driver couldn't find the auth dll. When I put in the windows\system32 directory, the integrated authentication worked fine.

Can anyone help me in figuring out the correct way to incorporate the SMTP authentication into a form? I am having a lot of trouble in getting my forms to send with this format. I have the same problem - user has Outlook 2010 on Exchange 2007. Mail goes directly into the deleted items folder. After browsing around the net I found 2 different site with the same potential fix. It seems that when migrating a user from Exch 2003 to
2007 (which we did) some of the configs get set incorrectly. The weird thing is we migrated over 2 years ago, and some others are experiencing the same after a long period after the migration. The fix that was suggested is:
Go to your Exch server, open up Exchange Management Shell and type the following:

Outgoing SMTP for Mac Mail Authentication (none or password)?

i have had to set up a test account due to some corruption issues and i have a new temporary password for iCloud.
and i am in the outgoing SMTP > ADVANCED section of mail.
does anyone know if i set up a SMTP server for Mac Mail as having an authentication set to "none" or set to "password" and whether this password should be my new temp pass?

If your ISP requires POP before SMTP authentication which requires checking the account's incoming mail server for new mail before being able to send with the account's SMTP server (checking the account for new mail should be required once per session only), then authentication for the SMTP server should be set to None.
Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts and under the account information tab for the account preferences at the SMTP server selection, select the Server Setting button below.
If Password is selected for SMTP authentication, change it to None and test if this resolves the problem.
If None is selected and your ISP requires password authentication for their SMTP server, select Password and enter the account's user name and password required for the authentication.

I am trying to configure KM notifications. Our smtp server needs an authentication and I have configured e-mail service as follows :

Send partial: Yes
Type: SMTP

User and password are defined on exchange server.
When Portal tries to send mail it doesn't authenticate to the exchange server then it gets "client was not authenticated" message. Here is the communication between portal and smtp server :
