Hi Satya,
U can configure out going mails from your SAP system by using SMTP.
have a look on the below link.. u can get complete picture of the mail configuration.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/EN/af/73563c1e734f0fe10000000a114084/content.htm
they have explained every thing clearly there and also have a look on the below note.
SAP Note 1205132 - Configure SMTP Destination to use multiple email servers

  • Configuring Outgoing Email

I am using 9.0 version of Livecycle. I ahve used the following help link to configure outgoing email settings.
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/adminHelp/admin.htm?content=000340.html
The email funtionality still does not work. Are there any more settings required at the server end for setting outgoing email?
    Thanks.

  • Configuring outgoing email on premise other than port 25 in SharePoint 2013

    hello,
I tried everything to get email alerts, but emails are not coming. I tried changing port number in IIS6 . I followed and saw many different articles on net to configure outgoing email settings. I followed the article here in the link "http://www.delphi-ts.com/blogs/lozzi/post/2011/02/09/Sending-SharePoint-emails-through-alternate-ports.aspx"
, still emails are not coming. What am I missing here?
    Please help
    chirag

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to configure outgoing email on premise other than port 25 in SharePoint 2013.
As the article said, there wasn't a way for SharePoint to select the outgoing port.
The workaround is to send Emails to SharePoint Server OS itself over port 25, and then Windows server  SMTP in turn route the Emails to Microsoft online over port 587.
For more information, you can refer to:
Step by step configuration of Outgoing Emails from SharePoint to Microsoft Online

  • Outgoing Email in SAP with out Mail Client

    Dear All,
We are able to send outbound email from SAP CRM via outgoing Email Activity. I have lotus and outlook installed on my system for testing.
However Business USERS will not have Outlook or Lotus on their systems, they access emails via WEB MAIL. Can they still use outbound Email sending feature from SAP (via outbound Email Activity ).
    Thank you.
    Regards
    Sweta

    Hi Sweta.
For sending outbound e-mails from SAP, the SAP system only supports integration with Outlook or Lotus Notes.
    Kind Regards
    Atul

I don't think there is a way to do this; would need to first launch Yahoo Mail, then do an Attach command, then find the file. Or, what I do to get around this, is I send it to my yahoo address as an attachment, then forward it from there.

  • Mac Mail No Longer Sends Outgoing Email

Has Verizon changed its email settings?  My Mac Mail program suddenly quit sending out my university email from home and says the outgoing verizon server rejected the password.  However, nothing has been changed in my email program and it won't accept any password to send the outgoing email.
The online instructions provided by Verizon for Entourage indicate changing the outgoing port setting to 587.   But that does not work.
Why can't the Mac Mail program send out email through Verizon any more?

Thanks for helping.  While the university has web mail for off campus access, our IT said that off campus users (i.e., when at home) using a dedicated email client (e.g., Mac Mail) should send outgoing email through their internet service provider.  I agree, it doesn't seem right to me, but that's what they have us do.
Settings that worked previously: The incoming server is a pop account, mail.cahnrs.wsu.edu with a user name and password.  The outgoing server is outgoing.verizon.net using port 587 with user name and password.
The university email is generally [email protected]  But it could also be [email protected]
Until about two days ago, these settings were working fine, so it seems like something changed somewhere.
Thanks very much for any help you can offer.
So when you're off-campus, are you still in Washington? If so, you're in an area that's been sold to Frontier, and it's entirely possible that your email access has been converted. You can contact Tech Support if you need help setting things up and/or verifying the status of your account. I was able to find this via Google, hopefully it will help you:
    http://www.frontierhelp.com/faq.cfm?qstid=1
Basically it says your SMTP server should be smtp.frontier.com, but there's also a link-off that appears to provide walk-throughs for configuring your client.
    Hope this helps!

  • Transaction to view the incoming emails into SAP system

    Hi Experts,
Just like SOST for viewing outgoing email from SAP, is there any transaction exist to view the incoming emails into SAP system. Any comments on this concept is most welcome.
    Thanks in advance,
    Viven

Check the T_codes in the package SO. All we have is in that package. I doubt except SAPoffice there is something. this should be handled by the Exchange server.

  • The email message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing email settings for the server are configured properly

i have an issue when loading a workflow. it gives me a following error "The email message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing email settings for the server are configured properly". it doesnt send me any alerts and worlflow fails at the end
    with the above error message.

    Hi,
I agree with Bistesh. But after Outgoing e-mail settings are configured properly, if the issue still exists,
It may result from your Anti-Virus. Please refer to the following steps:
Open MCAfee Console and go to Access Protection window.
Click Anti-Virus Standard Protection and edit “prevent mass mailing
    worms from sending emails” rule.
Now we need to know which processes are being blocked therefore we need to check the MCAfee Log located at
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\McAfee\DesktopProtection\AccessProtectionLog.txt
you may find entries of DtExec , DtExecUI and DatabaseMail90, now these processes need to be entered in the exclusion list of selected rule .
Reset the IIS And SharePoint Timer service to check if this works for you.

  • Problem configuring Email transport for business service

    Hi,
I'm trying to configure an email transport for an outgoing business service and the General Configuration page is showing the error:
[WliSbTransports:381030]Neither SMTP nor mail session exists
and consequently the Email Transport configuration page has both the SMTP Server and Maill Session pull downs greyed out.
I presume there is some external configuration required so that OSB can discover the SMTP service but I can't find any reference to this. Can someone help?
    regards

Blog at http://blogs.oracle.com/christomkins/2007/12/sending_an_email_from_oracle_s.html by Chris Tomkins should help. Did you configure SMTP server in OSB?

  • Configuration Email in SAP R/3 4.6 C SR2

I have some doubts in a particulary issue...
I try to configure the sending mail from SAP, but in note 455140 which is the reference note for configuration SMTP with SAP, it refers that process is for SAP Basis component above 6 and following... and after i try solve the problem with many search i do not had sucess   ...so my question is:
How i configure this feature for my R/3 release which is 4.6 C of SAP Basis component... ??
    Best Regards,
    Joao Dimas

For 6.10 and below you can't use the SMTP interface because it doesn't exist.  There was a technology called the Internet Mail Gateway that was used prior to 6.10.  Here is a blog that I wrote on the subject:
    /people/thomas.jung3/blog/2004/09/07/sending-e-mail-from-abap--version-46d-and-lower--api-interface
Although it largely focuses on the coding aspects, I also have OSS Notes and screen shots for some of the config.  Look at notes 99965 and 101573.
On a side note - Karthik - what the hell are you posting.  Did you even read the question.  I've warned you before, as I know that Raja as in the BSP formum as well.
    Input Field with multiple selection
Simply doing a search and cutting and pasting totally unrelated content doesn't do anyone any good.  It is actions like this that are driving people away from SDN.  Think hard about the impact you are having as well as how this reflects upon you personally and your employeer.

  • How to configure SCOT to handle multi language emails in SAP 4.6C

    Hello,
I have an SAP 4.6C MDMP system with several languages installed such as Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified).
I have been asked to configure SCOT so that users are able to send out emails via SBWP in their own language. Ie Chinese users sending out emails in Chinese (simplified), Taiwanese users send out mails in Chinese (traditional) and Japanese users sending out mails in Japanese.
I have configured SCOT as per SAP note 311633, by implementing 4 different INT nodes for English, Chinese Traditional, Chinese Simplified and Japanese; implemented this note and created the report RSCONCDG.
The problem is that I do not know how to configure the nodes so that each email goes to the correct SCOT node. ie Japanese to the Japanese node, Chinese traditional to the Chinese traditional node and so on.
How do I configure each node for this?
    Thank you.

Hi Siddesh, thank you for your detailed explanation and sorry for the late reply as I was very busy with some oher work till today.
I have configured 4 sender groups in SCOT - one for each language I want to send out the email in (english, chinese simplified, chinese traditional and japanese)
After, I configured the CDG parameters in 3 users so each is configured for the sender group for chinese simpliified, chinese traditional and japanese respectively.
I set up the routing using RSCONCDG and tested the routing for each user via SCOT routing test and the routing worked correctly.
Finally I did the actual test: log in as each user in the respective language in the SAP system, SBWP, copied a few lines in the same language and sent it out.
Using the default code page: ISO-8859-1, all the chinese and language texts in the email came out gibberish.
Using the code page: ISO-2022-JP, all the non-english text will be emailed out in japanese, whether the email was originally in chinese or japanese.
I do not know how else to proceed from here. Any advice?
