Confirm message to be displayed on the button click of the page

Hi all
I have a page with a button and some conditions on the button , now I want to display a pop-up message like a "Confirm message " , "Would you like to perform this action ?" , before that conditions are satisfied .. I am new to javascript and not sure of how to go about this .... can anyone has any ideas please !

In Apex 4 there is documented JavaScript function apex.confirm.

Change your button action to be "Redirect to URL" and enter to URL Target

Does anyone know if there are any traces at server-level (Exchange 2010) if a message has been displayed in the Reading Pane of Outlook 2010? The message would still be marked as Read in the recipient's mailbox.

If you want to know whether an email has been read by recipient, you can either request a read receipt or enable the tracking for read status for messages by using the
Set-OrganizationConfig –ReadTrackingEnabled:$True command.

Ipad, Error message "Safari could not open the page"

Hi... I am getting the error message "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding"
I have read the previous replies to this error message and have made sure the Ipad is connected to internet (skype works fine.)
I have also done a hard reset on my Cisco router.
I have Reset Ipad to factory settings twice.
I have Reset network settings five times
I have Powered off and on five times,
turned wifi off and on countless times.
Any idea other ideas? Ipad was bought in US 3 weeks ago. Worked fine at hotel in mexico. I am now in Bolivia. Different countries screwing it up? Could my router be too old? My Mac and iphone work fine on it though, although they are also old and since my macbook refuses to update it runs on OSX 10.5.8

Can you connect to the internet using other WiFi networks? Have you even tried outside of your own home WiFi network? Have you tried anything I here yet?

Occasionally I get this message in Safari but I also can't get online with any browser when I get the message. What I always do - and it always works for me - is to close all apps on my iPad and reset the device. I don't know if closing apps has any real effect or not. Most likely is it the system reset that brings it back to normal behavior.
Due to the fact that you have restored to factory settings twice already, I can't believe that resetting the iPad would do any good at all. But you are getting nowhere anyway, so try it if you like.
In order to close all of your apps, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.

Try this:
1. Close all inactive apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo.

In your yyy Table View Object create one attribute for BusinessGroupId as you want to save it in your yyy table VO.
Now on click of save button capture this ViewObject and set this VO Attribute at run time. I am assuming that yyytableVO is EO based.

I have created PDF from hardcopy by using my scanner. After I run OCR option for my PDF by using Acrobat Pro 9. But "Text-to-speech" functionality of the PDF says that an error message comes up that says the page is empty when I turns on the read out loud

So I tried generating the same PDFs on two other computers that have Acrobat 9 Pro. Results were reproduced. The verdict is:
- complex PDF files (that is, containing cross-references, tables of contents, and bookmarks) generated by Acrobat 9.x Pro are roughly 2-5x larger than the identical file generated with Acrobat 8.x Pro.
- different PDF conversion settings make a negligable difference (less than 10% rather than 70-80%).
- using the "Reduce File Size" or "Optimize PDF" option cuts the file size roughly in half, almost always resulting in a "image downsampling mask" warning message, which requires acknowledgement (that is a problem for batch processing or automation).
- adding an Acrobat watermark to the file cuts the file size roughly in half.
- just using Save As to another filename has no effect on file size.
- generating the PDF in Acrobat 9 with links but no PDF bookmarks still results in the inflated file size.
- generating the PDF in Acrobat 9 without any links or bookmarks results in approximately the same file size as the Acrobat 8 PDF with full links and bookmarks.
It appears that Acrobat 9's manner of adding links is what's bloating the files, and in my case it's probably not related to images or image resolution/print quality. It's a shame, because Acrobat 9 seems to have made some improvements to the Review Tracker interface, and a few other bells and whistles which I haven't really gotten around to exporing yet. But unless I find a way to keep my links and the PDF file sizes comparable to what I was getting with Acrobat 8 Pro, it looks like I'm going to stay with Acrobat 8.

Watermark will not display behind the page?

I have been trying to set the watermark behind the page rather than on top. When set to display behind the page no watermark displays in any setting or page range. Very frustrating has any one else experienced this and if so how did you resolve the issue. I am using adobe pro X . the documents were originally created in Word 2010.

Probably, the page has an existing white background, which is just a graphic at the back. If you put a watermark behind that you won't see the watermark.

The Safari message is probably telling the truth. Is the problem repeatable at several websites, or is it only with a particular one? If all websites, you may have trouble with your internet connection downloading large amounts of data. Mail messages are relatively small unless there are attachments or embedded images.

What's the fix for this CS4 message: One or more of the pages specified are not valid page names

I'm trying to export two pages (a spread) as a PDF. I've tried a number of times, using various techniques, including exporting first to a .imx file. Each time I get this message: One or more of the pages specified are not valid page names.
How can I get this to work?
I can't attach the file because it is 11MB.

Are you using sections in your document? That may mess up your pagenumbering while exporting pages as spreads. Try to put + to front of page numbers... like +12-+13 (into Export dialog´s page range field)
Another option is go to Preferences > General and change pagenumbering view method from Section Numbering to Absolute Numbering.

Why do I keep getting the message, "Safari can't open the page because Safari can't find the server"?

Why do I keep getting the message, "Safari can't open the page "www.blahblah.com" because Safari can't find the server" and you can replace the website with almost any I try to open. Any ideas or solutions?

Do you have other wireless devices connected to this same router? Do they work?
I really can't help you much but to say that when my router exhibited this issue it was accross the board (all notebooks would connect immediately following a router restart, but would loss connectivity until I rebooted the router again). In my case the only solution that was permanent was to replace the router.
You may also try restarting the phone and the router, setup security - WEP - (or disable security) on the router and phone, and/or try a different wi-fi channel (may actually help).

My email messages won't display. The preview shows but when I enter the mail it is completly blank

My email messages have stopped displaying in both my mail accounts. I can see a preview but when I enter the individual mail the screen is blank. Not even the preview text is displayed. I have not changed any settings. Does anyone know how to resolve this.

When going to mail I see messages but the body of the message does not display.

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if they show when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Error Message is not displayed on the pop screen for chain end chain

I have called a screen in one of the standard program using enhancmenets,
and i had put validations using chain and end chain, but the error message is not displayed immediately on the screen
but it is displaying as log , i want the error should come on the same screen and it should not allow till the correct values are entered , how to handle it

have you tried option "LIKE" with instruction MESSAGE.
Example:MESSAGE ID '38' TYPE 'S' NUMBER 000 DISPLAY LIKE 'E' WITH 'My Message'.
And instead of using a MESSAGE instruction, why to not use a popup ?
Like using one of these function modules (for instance):
TMS_BCU_POPUP_TO_CONFIRM
POPUP_TO_CONFIRM_STEP
POPUP_TO_DECIDE
FC_POPUP_ERR_WARN_MESSAGE
etc...
If that does not work, perhaps it's your ehancement which is not the good one or perhaps you have use a second one.

PutDialog would redirect the page automatically. You dont need setForwardURLToCurrentPage().
