I used migration to send photos form my Mac Book to my I Mac now i get an error message "iPhoto can not be opened because of a problem" Check with the developer to make sure iPhoto works with this version of Max OSX. You may need to install any available updates or reinstall IPhoto.
I tried installing Iphoto it said it was downloaded successfully. I still get the error messafe, and can not open any photos of program, any suggestions?What version of iPhoto do you have on the Macbook and on the iMac? What systems are you running on the Macbook and on the iMac?
Does the message only refer to "a problem" or does it specify what it is?

When I finished backing up my iphone 5 to my hp pavilion laptop I got an error message R6034. Itunes shut down and I have not been able to reinstall it. The error message says an application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. My computer is more than 5 years old and I have never had this problem before. Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:

(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

Are you able to email from Mail with those two accounts? If so:
1 - go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete both accounts. Now add them back and try again.
2 - a better solution IMO is to set Mail as the email client for iPhoto is iPhoto's General preference pane. This gives you better access to your contacts, a sent copy of all emails and, if you want a layout similar to iPhoto's, photo layouts located in Mail's stationary. -
I am getting an error message that "A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time" and I don't have any copy open. How do I correct this problem? This worked, I used the method described in this link http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=365156, and opened the Mozilla profile screen with the terminal on my mac, using the language given in the links. Then I duplicated my original profile to save the bookmarks, etc. Put them in a folder listed Duplicate profile with the date. With the open profile screen, I deleted my original profile, created new profile folder and then a new profile. Note that profile cannot be created in the system library, it must be created on the disc, because the library will not allow writing into it. After I created my new profile folder, I dragged all my old information into it, and it worked. Firefox closed and the error disappeared. You must be VERY careful to make sure Firefox is closed anytime you are doing anything with the profile folders. I think that is what caused my original problem.

I've updated my 2007 MacBook to 10.6.8, and now my iPhone 3 (used as iPod) and iPhone 4 aren't recognized to be synced anymore or I get an error message telling me to update my phone to 11.1 or something. When I do that is appears to update and when finished nothing appears to have updated.
It is possible one of the 10.6.8 updates may help:
Combo v1.1 (7/25/2011), 10.6.8 2013 Security Update 004, 2013-005 Java update.
Note, your machine is too old to use the latest Java from http://www.java.com/ -
I've tried updating iTunes for Windows but it won't work. I removed iTunes and downloaded the new version (10.6.1.7) but it won't load. It says it cannot removed the older version of iTunes.

Hi Allan, thanks for that. I've already set up a log in for my wife and that is all working fine. The problem is that when she logs in and opens iTunes and trys to associate her library with her iTunes account she gets the error message "This computer is already associated with another iTunes account". Whilst this is true, the computer is associated with my iTunes account under my separate log in, which should have nothing to do with hers. If she transfers the association to her account it will lock me out of my content on my log in for 90 days - I'm trying to work out how to associate each of the log in accounts with a separate iTunes account so we can access our music independently of one another without locking each other out. Hope that makes sense!

When I put my mac in sleep mode I get an error message and I have to click on it and then select whethere to play on computer or airport express. This was not true with the old Itunes but with this new version it is true. Any help?
well nobody bothered to give me a hint on what to do, maybe because the problems with the new version of iTunes are really a lot, there is an enormous amount of people out there that have all sort of different problems including mine so I have decided to return to the previous version which works fine and wait untill the apple people come up with a decent product ....

Why do I keep getting an error message "An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service.Check your internet connection or try again later." This happens when I am trying to listen to Radio (obviously). I ran diagnostics and it said my internet connection was good. I can also connect to the iTunes Store with no problem. Any ideas?
