Confirmation's field - delivery date/Performance date
Hi All,
When I approve the confirmation in SRM, service entry sheet will be created in R3.
In SRM, there is a field called "delivery date/ performance date."
It's currently mapped to R3 Document date (ESSR-BLDAT) in Service entry.
1) May I know what are the function module involve in mapping this field? Please kindly advise. Thanks.
We did a small testing.
It works well to get the date on friday of each week. But the delivery date category is still on day.
Is there a way to create it with the indicator on week?

CindyThe Price Date category field was visible in contract but not in our PO. Due to this, MEMASSPO was not updating the field value and we were changing the value to '2' manually by debugger. Hence some table updates were missing and causing the whole issue.
The solution is to change the screen layout for PO. If Price date cat field is hidden, then you need to make it optional entry in SPRO- Purchase Order - Define screen layout at document level--> Quantity and Price for ME21N , ME22, ME22N and for field selection key assigned to PO document type.
This field will be available in ME22N- Condition Control TAB.

CindyThere are always programs on http://www.tuaw.com that do things like this. I don't know if any of them specifically do this. They always want to suck you in and live in their little iGTD world. I don't really conform to that. I am trying to write software that I would want to use. This seems like one that would fall into that category. Simple, easy-to-use, does one thing well, and doesn't get in your way.

Sales order delivery date not update on PO delivery confirmation
Hi all,
I have the following issue. When a sales order is created for a material that is to be purchased a purch req is automatically created. Next I create a Po from this Purch req. When I confirm the delivery date to a later date in this po and do this without entering a storage loc in the po, the delivery date in the sales order remains unchanged, which should be adjusted according to the confirmed delivery date in the PO.
When I do this with a storage location, the date is changed in the sales order.
Anybody any ideas on what could be the reason for this?

I thumb rule that you have to follow when posting the thread is, to be clear in what you are asking. Looking at the thread posted, can you make out anything? No spaces, no full stops. How will people understand what your query is? Just read back your question & help us understand what does the query mean.
From what you have given, you are saying that in material master MRP views, GR processing time is mentioned as 15 days. What after that? Are you asking of the materials are available before that 15 days & you run an availability check is the delivery date going to change? Is that what you are asking?
If the material is already available on that date, system will confirm the reqested delivery date. If item is not available then system will propose a new confirmed delivery date basing on the availability check. It will not propose a date which is earlier to the requested delivery date. It either confirms the requested delivery date or proposes a confirmed delivery date at a later time.
For eg when the customer requests delivery on the 25th in the sales order, then if material is available, system will confirm 25th as the delivery date. If material is not available,, then it will check item availability & proposes 28th as confimed delivery date. It will never propose 22nd as delivery date.

Actual delivery Date not coming in the extractor 2LIS_11_V_SSL

I am trying to get the Confirmed and Actual Delivery date for a Order from ECC in BIW. The extractor 2LIS_11_V_SSL has both these fields. But when I check the data in the extract checker (RSA3) in ECC, I always get the Actual Delivery Time as Blank.
Is there any problem with the standard extractor? Or anything needs to be done to get this field from ECC.
The BI Content Version in ECC is 703 SP 4.
Actually I want to know whether the Order is delivered on Time or not, Is there any way like status which can tell me if the Order is "Delivered on Time" or not

AbhishekYes we were using the field MCEX_I_LFDAT Actual Delivery Date. It only gets filled for confirmed deliveries and is blank for other orders.
Though the values were not tallying with what the Functional Team wanted. So now we are using the field MCEX_I_WADAT (Acttual Good Issue Date) from the source system. We are still using the extract 2LIS_11_V_SSL for the same. This field is filled from the Deliveries from the Source System.
Both the Extracts 2LIS_12_VCHDR, 2LIS_12_VCITM also have Actual Goods Issue (GI) Date and no Actual Delivery Date. Though these come from different fileds in different tables.

how would the system cacluate whether it can meet the delivery date using backward scheduling

coz based on the ATP check only material avaialabilty date is determined and if we have a bacjground job running every 1 hours for atp then immediately when we create a sales order is a route and shipping point determined (just before we save the sales order)

Suppose customer representative recevies a order on the phone
he enters sold to party, ship to party ,PO number,delivery date and material number and then hits enter
so at tht time the shipping point and route is determined ?
also when an atp check runs and if the delivery date is not met then the system will propose a new delivery date but if we have a different route configured say for eg overnight so we can meet the delivery date and we want to change this route to overnight what must we do?
should we change the shipping condition in the header?
I am not very sure about the process can you please also explain me this in detail?

When a sales order is logged & the user enters the requested delivery date, system 1st does the backward scheduling date. Pla note that the factory calender mentioned in the shipping point & route plays a crutial role in defining the working days & confirmed delivery date.
For eg: Customer has raised an order on 11/15 & requests delivery on 11/20/2008.
the following times are important in delivery scheduling.
Transit time: maintained in route
Loading time maintained in the shipping point
Transportation planing time maintained in the transportation planning point.
pick pack time maintained in the shipping point.
Material availability time maintained in MM02 --> MRP screens. This is the time that the material can be manufactured (for inhouse producted items) or external processing time (for externallly procured materials like TAS items).
From the requested delivery date 11/20 system does the backward scheduling & determines the following dates:
Goods issue date, loading date, pick pack date, transportation planning date & material availability date.
Time between:
goods issue date - reqested delivery date: transit time
Goods issue date - loading date: loading time
transportation planning date - pick pack date: picking pack time
Material availability date - transportation date: transportation planning time.
Consider that the factory calender has all days of the week as working dates (to make it simple to explain). Also transit time is 3 days, loading time is 1 day,pick pack time is 1 day, material availability time is 3 days.
From 11/20 ussing backward scheduling system determines the following dates:
Goods issue date: 11/17
Loading date: 11/16
Pick pack date: 11/15
System will check if material is available on the 11/15 to start pick / pack. If it is available then system will confirm the reqested delivery date. Else it will check when the material is available. For eg basing on the MRP settings mnaterial is available only on 11/18. So from 18th system does forward scheduling & redetermines all the dates. So pick / pack date is 11/18. Loading date is 11/19, goods issue date is 11/20 & possible delivery date is 11/23. So system will confirm the delivery date on 11/23. This is when complete delivery is required. If partial delivery is allowed, then system will check how much quantity is available on 11/15. Accordingly it will give 2 delivery dates.
In the above example include teh factory calender which will have 5 day week with Fri & Sat as holidays. Accordingly dates will change.

You had to do this step as well to carry out the new pricing:

I have an item in sales order which is a trading material so i need to raise a purhcase order whenever a sales order is generated for the GR processing days in MM it is given as 15 normally happens and PO is raised now when the delivery date is ready now but when the goods within two days when i run once again availibility it will change the delivery date or not

Delivery date var 1-5 in MC$6

We don't use vendor evaluation , but we want to use MC$6 to analyse delivery date variance for all our vendors.
is it possible to get delivery date var 1-5 field populated in MC$6.
we have maintained parameters in img for del date var1-5. We are still getting no values in MC$6 for delivery date var key figures.
Any suggestions how to achieve this?

Go to MCFC transaction and maintain the parameters for the purchase organization. Now, create a new PO and do GR for the same. If there is delivery date variance, the same will be recorded in S012 table and the same will be displayed in MC$6 transaction.
If its not getting updated, refer the KBA: 2009911 - S012 field Delivery date variance (TABW1-5) not updated

in transaction Confirm Goods / Service user can see creation date of the purchase order. Is it possible to somehow display required delivery date on item level. Field "Required on" which is visible in Basic data of the item.
Would like to have as minimum modification as possible, maybe through customizing (of course if possible) :o))
