Connect Exception when I run multiple client processes

hi All,
I run a web logic RMI server on my machine and bind an object. When i try
to run about 40 multiple clients (each client is a java process) i am refused
connection. Why???

wrong url, apparently.
open the admin console and see that the url from your deployment is. try entering that into the browser instead of what you used to get the 404.
also, check the logs.

    Ram,
    Either I am totally misunderstanding your statements, or your business people are misinformed.  
    The output of MD01 (MRP total run in foreground) and the output of MDBT (MRP total Run in Background) ARE IDENTICAL, provided you have selected the same parameters.  
    Neither output contains a discrete listing of open Purchase orders and Purchase requisitions.
    Standard output of both MD01 and MDBT are:
    1.  List of materials processed, with exception messages
    2.  Statistics
    In addition, both of these programs also write MRP records to the MRP databases, provided that the "Display Material List" parameter is set.  In this case, both of these programs will produce data that can be further reviewed and managed in MD05 and MD06. MD06 is the tool that most planners use to process the MRP database info.
    If you wish to see a listing of the entire MRP results (either MD01 or MDBT), then execute transaction MDLD.  This will produce either a spoolfile or a printed document.
    For the PO or PR listings, review my earlier suggestions.

    Theoretically, yes.
    Heat, and heat cycling certainly do take a toll on even solid state components. I have several "very old" Macintosh computers, and the logic boards exhibit the effects.
    The fan too, running at higher speeds, does eventually cause wear. More than anything, the higher airflow leads to a higher propensity for dust accumulation on the fan, and the heat exchangers.
    In practical terms though, maybe not so much. If you plan on having your computer exhibit a reasonable useful life before you retire it or upgrade, you may never experience any of the detrimental effects. I rarely use a computer longer than 3 years, before I sell, give it away, or just stop using it.
    Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Your computer is well designed to give you a long life, even in the manner in which you describe. Take care of it, but use it for what you bought it for. Nothing you mention is in any way, abuse.

    When I copy paste a document and click on the button it raises a COM exception but if I click continue and click on the button again, the correct grade level score is displayed.Cant figure out why this is happening.

  • Lookout does not recognize passwords when attempting access to client process through web

    When accessing client process through a web browser Lookout prompts for username and password but doesn't accept valid username and password.

    Passwords are unique to each machine not to the application. For example if I were to load your application onto my machine, my security settings would be in place. I have never had Lookout ask for a password when accessing through a web browser. Does the machine you are using have Lookout on it also? If it does, you need to use the user names and passwords for that machine. If not,try using user name "administrator and no password.

  • Project goes into a setup launch when first run on client machine

    I have sequenced Project STD 2013 on Win 7.  During sequencing, it ran fine.
    When I install on client machine and launch shortcut, the setup window opens but than comes up with error window that says the installer path can only contain 115 characters..choose shorter path.
    I am at a loss as to what to do.

    Are you using AUOrganizer?
    If so, this issue has been reported a couple of time before.... and that will be the cause of your issues. It is not correctly configured.....

  • Security exception when provisioning using multiple access policies

    We have upgraded our eDirectory connector to version 9.0.4.12. When provisoning manually all process tasks work correctly. However, when provisioning through an access policy or multiple access policies, once the edirectory Create User task runs it creates a security exception and all other connectors fail to provision until retried. We have set the system config parameter of Access Policy Multiple Resource Enhancement to TRUE and we have set the account discirminator in the process form to Server. Why would it fail?

    I have one Mac that I use to stream music to multiple Airport Express's. Its seems that when I connect to 3 expresses things work fine. If I connect to 4 the sound cuts out on all speakers.

    Yes you can but....
    With the apex in the ceiling you may get a signal loss from your main wireless system. To be able to do what you want in a whole home sound system they all need to be on the main wireless system. You also have to plug them in to a wall outlet which may be an issue with your fire regulations with them inside the walls/ceiling. With airplay you have some limitation also. If she has an ios device and likes say pandora she can only do it to one set of speakers/APex. Only itunes from a computer can do multiple/house party sound. I have 2 APex in my house and love them all. If your main wifi is out of range for some of the new APex's you can run 1 cat5/6 (APex is 10/100)  and make a new network and bridge the rest to it. As long as your new wire is connected to your main network you will stay on the same network.
    So now you get sound and a roaming wifi through out the house. (that's what I did but not in the ceiling.)
    Sonus are good but $$$. by then rewire!

  • Error when addon runs on client workstation

    Hi,
    I have a problem with my addon running on a client wokstation. The addon is created using UIAPI and DIAPI.
    It works fine on the server, but gives the following error on a client workstation.
    "Activex cannot create object"
    What is suspect is that this error is comming when i try to do the following
    Set oDIComp = New SAPbobsCOM.Company
    although i am not sure at this point of time.
    Anyone ever got a similar problem.

    No i do not create any activex control.
    There is only one object i try to create inside the function which is SAPbobsCOM.Company.
    Set oDIComp = New SAPbobsCOM.Company
    Apart from that no other object.

  • Exception when sending mail to client on a different mail server

    Hi,
    When i try to send a mail to a client on a different mail server from mine I am getting the following exception.
    javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed;
    nested exception is:
         class javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;
    nested exception is:
         class javax.mail.SendFailedException: 550 not local host yahoo.com, not a gateway
    It works perfectly fine when i send a mail to a client on my mail server. I am stuck up at this point - PLEASE HELP, any help greatly appreciated.

    Most of these are, of course, anti-Spam measures implemented by the various SMTP hosts, to prevent spammers from using their servers to spread the stuff (what you're doing is exactly what Spammers do as well).
    In general, most properly configured SMTP servers will only accept messages if:
    (a) Your IP address (as seen by that SMTP server) maps back to a proper host name, AND
    (b) The recipient of the message is "local" as determined by that SMTP server, AND
    (c) In many cases, the SMTP server will also cross-check your HELO/EHLO address and the MAIL FROM: value.
    It may take a few attempts to get all this right.

    When I tried to follow through the most recent TopLink tutorial project, I got the following exception if I tried to create a new employee record, although I can view or/and update the salary value from an employee object without any problem.

    I did select the SALARY table as the associated table from the Employee descriptor’s Multitable Info tab and also the “Primary Keys Have the Same Name” option. I also mapped the Employee’s attribute “salary” to the field of SALARY.salary (direct to field mapping). What else did I miss to cause such an exception?

    We are always eager to improve the product. Do you have any suggestions as to how the exception could be clarified. This may be a case where those of us on the inside have been looking at the issue the same way for a long time and cannot see the problem.

  • Question on running multiple clients in production

    We have a question that hopefully someone might be able to clarify for us. We currently have a production SAP landscape consisting on 5 separate SAP clients running on five R/3 4.6c instances on RS6000/Informix and we are looking at alternatives around landscape optimization as part of a plan to upgrade to ECC6. One of the options we are weighing is to create a single SAP instance on 64 bit Windows 2003 Enterprise and SQL Server 2005, migrate the different clients onto the single system resulting in a single instance/multiclient configuration, and then to upgrade the consolidated server to ECC6. We have been researching the feasibility of this approach and it appears that it is a supported configuration (as per SAPNote 31557), however it is apparently not widely used and there are references to challenges with that approach. Wanted to see if anyone had experiences with this type of configuration and whether there are any specific showstopper issues that would make this unworkable as a solution.
    Below is a list of some of the questions we are looking to address:
    Can anyone cite a reference where a multi client single instance configuration was successful?
    Can anyone cite a reference where a multi client single instance configuration was unsuccessful and the reason why it did not work?
    Is there an upper boundary on the number of clients that can be supported in a productive multi-client instance?
    Are there any specific issues with the CTS system that need to be considered
    Are there any known issues with the ECC6 platform that need to be considered, especially with the potential deployment of a EP usage type and the J2EE stack?
    Any known issues with upgrades after moving to a multi-client environment?
    Were there any unexpected surprises (i.e. client independent objects that were not anticipated).
    How was the issue of overlapping number ranges in different clients addressed?
    Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

  • My macbook pro can see the network, gets full signal, but won't connect.  When I run diagnostics, it automatically connects, but only if I run the diagnostics.  Why won't it connect by itself?

    Macbook Pro won't auto connect to wifi, but when I start diagnostics, then it will connect.  It seems it requires diagnostics in order to get connected to wifi.

    SOLUTION! 
    I've been suffering from this problem for a few months.  I tried everything suggested by everyone, and then, today, I had a mad idea. 
    I used to work in a room in the house that's about 12 metres away from the router. It's on the next storey up and horizontally about 8 metres away.  The problem started when I began to work in the same room as the router. 
    Today I became so frustrated that for some reason I walked into a room about 8 metres away on the same level - Guess what?  I connected with no problem at all. Feeling full of joy I walked back to the room where the router is located - Dropped internet connection within a few minutes!  Walked back to the the room that's 8 metres away and, hey presto! I have a connection. I now realise that the problem was that I moved too close to the router.
    I can think of no logical explanation for my experience, but empirically it seems to work.  Does anyone have the faintest idea of why this should be the case?  In the absence of an answer I think I may have to start believing in fairies at the bottom of the garden - I'm just off to set a meal for them.
    By the way, I don't know if it has any significance, but the router is a BT Infinity router that has replaced the incredibly unreliable Virgin Media cable connection
