Connecting alarm server to Access DB

Hi there. I'm developing a very basic alarm system consisting of a client part and server part.
The user running the client on their computer should be able to send to the server a message asking to be reminded when the time comes for a certain event (for example, "it is time to go to the meeting"). When this time comes, the server should automatically send a message back to the client reminding about the event, and the client should show a reminder message to the user.
I've created it all no problem. I'm having difficulty with the server part in reagrds to adding my access database to the program. I want add new alarms and retreive them also deleting them once the alarm has been send back to the client.

Basically I've created a client server alarm program
where the client sends the time and message it wants
to to the server. At the correct time the server
will send the message back to the client alerting the
user.
What I'm having a problem with is linking the server
to an Access database and want to know if anybody can
help.
how is this an answer to any of the questions i put to you?
it isn't.
do you have the database built? i mean i dunno maybe you don't know what your tables should be.... is this the case?

are you getting a JDBC error? if so what is it? and post some code along with this.
if your answers to these questions is another variation on i have server i am having difficulty with than perhaps you would like to try calling a psychic hotline for help because without some real information i cannot help you as my mental superpowers (reserved for ESP) are not what they used to be.
Also I think my Timer is not working correctlythis is a totally other problem although i suspect you are right. maybe a description of what is happening coupled with a description of what you think should happen and a properly formatted code sample would be helpful for others to diagnose this issue.
