Connection and Read Timeouts when posting messages into XI

Hi,
We have about 25 interfaces configured on XI.
When running the tests by posting messages into these interfaces, we are getting Connection, Read or Socket Timeout exceptions. And from then XI is unable to accept further messages.
If the Complete Cache and Delta Cache are refreshed through SXI_CACHE, then the interfaces start working.
Several checks were carried and found nothing wrong with them.
Administration - Cache Overview
SM59 - INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI - test connection
Report - SAI_CACHE_REFRESH
RWB - ComponentMonitoring - Cache Connectivity Test
Is there any setting to continuously refresh the Cache in XI?
Any help on this is highly appreciated.

You can check all PI Service users are correct and no problem with them as locking etc

My photos from my most recent trip, when imported into Lightroom, have a heavy vignette very close to all 4 corners of the photo, and seem to have some small adjustments being done to them immediately when I import. The thumbnail looks great, and when i import --> then select it to open it as if I was going to view it full size in Lightroom, it looks great [no vignetting or tone/color adjustment] for about 1-2 seconds while a 'loading' footer is shown, following which the color is slightly altered and the vignetting is added (at this point then the thumbnail changes as well). This is a significant and noticable change to the photo. The pictures also do not have these issues if I view them through any other software. I have Can any one help me figure out what is causing this and remove it?

with a Sony Alpha6000
shoot in RAW (.ARW)
use the standard sony kit lens that comes with the camera bundle, lens SELP1650 (3.5-5.6/16mm-50mm)
edit on Windows 7 64bit with Lightroom5
and don't believe I've adjusted any camera settings since last taking pictures 1 week ago with the exact same lens. I looked at photos from my last trip (only one week ago), and none of them are having these or an alterations/changes upon import.
I took over 300 photos last weekend wthout any sign of these issues post import

Having trouble opening connections and reading from Bluetooth devices.

As the title states, I am having trouble opening connections and reading data from a Bluetooth device. We are using a PDA to communicate with LabVIEW. First, the Bluetooth Open Connection VI displays a timeout error half of the time. Second, when it does open, it does not read what the PDA is sending. Third, if it does allow an open connection, it will not do it a second time unless the devices are turned off.
I also have another related question. I am using a Linksys Bluetooth USB adapter, and the driver is proprietary. Labview requires the use of a Microsoft driver, and we are having problems going back and forth between the drivers. What Bluetooth receiver would you suggest using? The reason I ask is the fact that you have Bluetooth examples of client VI's. Therefore, you must use a similar device. Thank you for your time.

I'm not sure what Bluetooth receivers were used to verify the functionality of the VIs. However, I still want to help you solve your issue. Please make sure that you are running the shipping examples and let me know what version of LabVIEW, what PC OS and what PDA OS you are using. Does the Microsoft driver work for your Bluetooth receiver if you uninstall the Linksys driver?
With your answers I'll do my best to help you out.

Setting Connection and Read time outs for SOAPConnection

Below is the code I am using to connect to a web service. I need to set connection timeout and read timeout for the SOAP Connection. I have the solution with using system properties. But my project demands the solution without using system properties. I have gone through google and found the below page

I have the same problem for a few days now. Most sites open quickly but any new pages take ages to load. I usually give up if refresh wont help ?

The problem was solved by Apple Technical Help. The process is as flollows:
1. Open Safari
2. Menu item Safari-Reset Safari - remove all website data - reset
3. Now if you try to login on iTunes connect it will work.

My iphone 4s connects and disconnects (repeatedly) when connected to my computer

my iphone 4s connects and disconnects (repeatedly) when connected to my computer, it works perfectly fine when connected to regular chargers, everytime i connect it to my computer it shows the charging symbol and then disconnects and reconnects in less then a second, it will repeat this process forever unless disconnected, sometimes it works perfectly fine and most of the times it does the same thing, I know for a fact its not the wire because i recently bought an ipad mini with retina and its usb is new, it worked with the retina for a day or two and then it kept connecting and disconecting repeatedly, my computer is two months old and i have new hardware in that machine, is it a problem in the usb power fluctuation? i am currently using windows 8.1 and i need solutions, this is super annoying, all my other devices work perfectly fine with the usb ports, all my usbs (2.0 and 3.0) do the connecting and disconnecting sometimes it even works ,what is the problem?

WHen I open my iBooks all of my books are there I can open them and read, but when I try to go to the store nothing will come up, I can't do any searches it appears that there is no connection. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing works!

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

Setting connect timeout and read timeout on a Web service Client

How can I set timeout values for a SOAP Web service client?
I don't want to set timeout values for the complete JVM, but on a call-by-call basis. I was looking for something like:
SOAPConnection c = ....
c.setTimeout(...);Anyone?

Thanks again fsato4, but i still can not resolve my problem. I must use the java 1.2.2 and i think the package java.nio.charset is not supported. I have read documentation about the use of encodings but i can not understand clearly what is happening in my application. Let me explain what i am thinking and ask you some things.
I send a message from the client in VB using soap toolkit, obviously in UTF-8 format. When the message is received in my Java Web service, Do i need to do something in order to my Java string understands the message?.
What i am doing is to obtain the byte array with the following line:
byte[] utf8Bytes = strXmlFile.getBytes("UTF8");
And then i use the constructor of the string as follows:
String ostr = new String (utf8Bytes,"UTF8"); I think that in this point i have my string in a valid representation for my server (Sun solaris) Rigth?. And finally i use my new string to pass that value to my function which expects a java.lang.String, but the result is that all the special characters are replaced.
Just after of the new String line, i write my string to an Buffered Writer pointed to a FileOutputStream (just for Doublecheck) using the "ISO8859_1" encoding and for my surprise i can read very well that xml in my browser and the special characters are displayed in a correct way. Could you please explain me why?

Is there a problem with FaceTime, can not connect. When dial it connects and drops. When friends are calling me they have calling message and I have connecting but it does not connect. Need help, face time is my life line.

There is a barely acknowledged issue. For Mac users Apple has released an update to the app, but for iOS users the recommendation is for users to update their ipad to the most recent operating system.
There may be a fix coming for iOS6 users (which seem to be many of those having problems) or there may not be. If your ipad isn't up to date then you can update it and see if that helps, or if you don't want to update then you may want to wait and see if there is either a fix or if it fixes itself.

Unread Emails in Outlook 2010 Clients shows both UNREAD AND READ emails when connected to Exchange 2013 Server SP1

We recently upgraded to Exchange 2013 SP1 with a client user-base of Office 2010 Professional Plus / Outlook 2010 SP3.
All Unread Email favorites folders show both Unread and Read emails, just like the inbox. Removal of the folder and recreating yields the same results, as does creating a custom folder. However, in Outlook 2013 there is no problem.
Is there a patch or hot fix for this issue? Or does anyone know how to fix this issue so that the UNREAD EMAILS SHOW UP IN THE UNREAD FOLDER AND NOT INCLUDE THE READ EMAILS?

Go down to Search Folders
- Right click on Search Folders and create New Search Folder leave default "Unread Mail1" and click OK
- Right click on the new “Unread Mail1” folder and choose “Customize this search folder”
- Click on Browse
- Select the checkbox for “Search subfolders”
- Press OK and OK again.
- Right click on old "Unread Mail" Folder and delete.

J2iun Execution and Error in FI posting (Message no. 8I280)

Hi ,
At our end J2iun were never posted in SAP and all excise return are being handled manually.
Now we are trying to execute J2iun for each month of the last year ( April '08 to march '09) and trying to update our system till march'09 so that from this month onwards , excise returns can be handled thru SAP.
We started with April'08 and in order to get J2iun posted for the month of April'08 , we opened the desired FI periods (2008/1) thru OB52.BUT when we were trying to post J2iun for the month of April'08 , system is prompting an error
"Error in FI posting 20090408 Message no. 8I280"
We couldn't understand why this message is being appeared when required FI periods are already opened. ( In fact we tried with some JV enteries in that period and they are getting posted sucessfully )
Is it because MM april'08 period is already closed ??? (in OMSY , open periods are April'09 and March'08)
If yes , then is there any way to make April'08 MM period open ?
If back MM period opening is not possible then what could be the best method to get GLs and Registers Balances updated with correct value of MARCH'09 closing Balances.
So that j2iun of april'09 can be executed perfectly

How can I keep email to read later when off line please

I'm not sure how it works on your iPad, but once the email has been downloaded onto my iPad, I can read them even in Airplane mode with WiFi disabled. I don't see the images that are in the emails, but I can read the messages. I have one POP account and three IMAP accounts and it works for all four accounts.
