Connection Nokia 7250i with pc

I want some information’s
How to I can transfer, my data from the phone (7250i) to PC, with out to use the data port (Nokia CA-42 USB, DKU-5 USB Data Cable), because it's have brooked, and it can not repaired.
Thanks

7250i also has infrared, but obviously you need a PC that has infrared too. YOu can buy a infrared USB dongle to your PC if it has not an imbedded infrared.
And then you need Nokia PC Suite to be installed

  • Connect nokia phone with pc using irda

    Hi everybody,
I want to write a java program that will communicate with my nokia 7250i using the ir port. I have already achieved that using nokia pc suite, But i want to create my own application. Firts of all I have to find out how a java program can send data through the ir potr. I guess that java can use ir port as a normal com port but this may be wrong. In order to check this I open hyperterminal and I plug my usb infrared adapter.Hyperterminal cannot see any extra port (it can see only my modem and com3 which is not used by infrared - may be someone know a way to see what is using this port?(1))When I put my phone close to the inrared adapter hyperterminal fids to extra ports com4 and Nokia irda modem. It can not use com4 and when I ask to connect to Nokia irda modem it asks me for a phne number.
Given all the above can somebody suggest me a way for my java program to send data through the infrared adpter?(2)
If you think this is not the thread I should post such topic please propose me onether(3)
Does anybody have a link for similar applications or problems (programs to communicate with phones)(4)
    Thanks in advance

2630 Bluetooth. Can anyone suggest a step by step instruction "How to" to connect my Nokia 2630 to my PC through Bluetooth. I believe this is the only way to download my Nokia 2630 information.
Have to confess - as you can tell already - I'm a bit of luddite and very new to this. I don't know how Bluetooth technology works. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Colin.

  • Connecting Nokia N8 with Sennheiser VMX100

    Hello!
I am trying to connect my Nokia N8 with my Sennheiser VMX100 Bluetooth headset - without any luck. Pairing works fine, although I am not asked for the 0000-PIN. Headset and N8 are paired for approx. 5 seconds, then they are disconnected. They see each other and connect, just to be disconnected after 5 seconds. It is an endless on-off-on-off-... relationship.
I have reset my headset more than once, deleted all pairings, rebooted the N8... Nothing. The problem still remains. What can I do?
I need the Bluetooth headset in my car - so this is no question about a gimmick...
Thanks a lot for your support!
Oh yes, I tried another Bluetooth headset, a much simpler and less expensive noname set - same problem...
    Best regards

    Hello Everbody,
hope you had a great Christmas time...
A little update to my Bluetooth problem(s): more or less, the problem is solved. More, because I can use my Sennheiser headset for phone calls. Less, because I do not know how I did it...
I tried to pair my Sennheiser headset for a couple of days, when ever I was in the mood for Bluetooth - no success. Then I had the occaison to work with some Apple computers with Bluetooth keyboards and Bluetooth mice (mouses...?). So I tried to pair my headset with one of these Apples. Of course, it worked... After that I told a colleague about my N8 problem and we tried to pair my N8 and the headset. After several screens and menues, my N8 asked for the 0000-code! First time ever... Seconds later, I had a stable connection. And I still have.
Don't ask me how we did it - maybe it is just: don't give up... Anyway, it is not a very deterministic communication channel. But after all, I won...
So, now I have to learn voice commands etc. - at least for the rest of the year...
Thanks for listening to my problem(s)...
    Seasonal greetings
    CC5

  • Unable to connect Nokia 5130 with Nokia Music - Ca...

I've never had this much trouble with a Nokia before
I can't connect the mobile phone with Nokia Ovi music software, however the phone can be connected
through USB and Bluetooth to the PC and files can be transferred between...
So I can legally download the music with Nokia Ovi but I can't use them. this whole program seems like a huge glitch to me. <Yes I have the 1 free year of music download service that came with the cell phone>
I can transfer the music to the phone though Nokia Ovi Suite using Bluetooth, but not with Nokia Ovi player, however they do not work because they are protected files!?!
Someone please tell me how to proceed ?! Nokia Ovi player only says the mobile phone has been connected in an inappropriate way... very confusing... whats the problem ??
I have reinstalled all the software and drivers several times. I'm running Windows Vista SP2.

I think the issue here has to do with the drivers... everytime I reinstall everything and connect the phone through USB the windows starts installing some drivers... why? shouldn't it all be there once I install using the CD I got with my phone?
Wouldn't be the first time Windows messes up drivers.. what can I do?

  • Would't be able to connect nokia mobile with ipad2 via bluetooth

    Dear Freinds,
I just bought an Ipad2 32 GB but unfortunately wouldn't be able to operate it properly.
Problem 1 - Trying to tranfer some data from my Nokia C7 to Ipad2 via bluetooth but every time it shows error "UNABLE TO CONNECT"
Problem 2 - When i tried to download free apps from apple store through my Ipad it always ask me for my credit card detail.
Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

1, bluetooth on the iPad is aimed at devices such as keyboards and headphones and isn't for transferring files. The bluetooth profiles that are supported by the iPad (and iOS devices in general) are listed on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647
2, there are instructions on this page for setting up an iTunes account without giving a credit card : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 . If you want to use an iTunes account that you've already created then you won't be charged for free apps even if you enter a credit card - you may get a temporary holding charge (to validate that the card is current and active) but that should be refunded within a few days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3702

  • USB cable CA-53 is not working for nokia 7250i to ...

I am trying to connect nokia 7250i with CA-53 cable to take back up
but it displaying error msg with exclamentory mark like
    USB devive not recognized
one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfuntioned , and windows does not recognize it ,
Please help me to resolve this so that I can take back up

I have exactly the same problem trying to connect my N73 phone to my PC with a CA-53 cable supplied with the phone.
I have uninstalled and re-installed the current version of PC Suite complete with drivers from the Nokia support site, rebooted the PC and the phone, returned to the original pghone settings - all to no avail, still getting the same mesage about a USB device malfucntioning, Windows does not recognise. Nopkia support suggested disabling firewalls (Windows, Nortons antivirus) - again no difference. So now they think it is the cable. I have purchased a new CA-53 cable on ebay for $A5.65. It should arrive tomorrow. I hope that fixes the problem.

Unfortunately CA-42 will not be suitable for this purpose as a different cable and software is needed from third party supplier.

  • Tutorial - Connecting an Nokia Phone with an iPaq ...

This Tutorial is as a result of a post by qvodude on 13th January 2008.
Tutorial – Connecting an Nokia Mobile Phone to an HP iPaq Pocket PC
This tutorial has been done using a Nokia 6260 (S60 series 2) and an iPaq 5965 travel companion (windows mobile 5).
Turn on the phone and then go to menu>connections>Bluetooth. When you open Bluetooth you are asked to give your phone a name. (I named mine Nokia 6260). Hit ok. Then highlight Bluetooth and select options>change and switch Bluetooth on. Then scroll down to My phones visibility >options > change > shown to all >ok. Your phone is now set up.
Switch on the iPaq. Start > settings > iPaq Wireless and turn Bluetooth on. Then tap done. On the settings page tap on Bluetooth Manager. When you open Bluetooth Manager it gives you a welcome screen. Just follow the instructions. Luckily my phone is in the list so it was fairly simple. If your phone is not in the list then select Generic Dialer or generic generic. The ipaq will then search for devices in range. In my case it picked up my phone and my laptop. I then selected my phone and was asked if I wanted to pair the devices. I said yes accepted the code that was on the screen and then pressed next. A message then appeared on my phone asking if I wanted to pair with my iPaq. I entered the same code that was used on the iPaq and pressed ok. The ipaq then asked if I wanted to connect to the internet and I said no as I did not want to connect at this time.
On my phone if I highlight Bluetooth and scroll right it shows Paired devices > Pocket PC 5965.
I then tested the setup by tapping tools > connect on the iPaq. My phone then asked if I wanted to Accept connection request from pocket PC. I then selected yes and my Pocket PC showed that I was connected to my network (Optus).
I trust that this helps you. If you have any further problems let me know. I will be going away next Thursday 22nd and will not be back until Wednesday 28th. Whilst I am away I will not be in a position to access these forums so if you could get back to me before then I would appreciate it.
    Regards
    Barry

  • Nokia 7250i phone unable to receive picture multi-...

    Anything I need to do?

alias_name, I looked at your old threads. Did you face this issue with your Nokia 6303 classic as well? A Nokia 6303 classic was a rather new model and should have configured itself for MMS correctly. Therefore, ask your network operator (Orange UK) whether MMS is activated for your SIM at all.
Before you ask Orange UK, check you Nokia is setup up correctly:
Nokia Series 40, like your Nokia 7250i » Menu » Messages » Settings » Multimedia » Connection » Active multimedia settings » check whether there is one for Orange UK. If not activate an empty one » Edit active multimedia settings:
    Name: Orange UK
    Homepage: mms.orange.co.uk
    Proxies: Enable
    Primary proxy: 192.168.224.10:8080
    Data bearer: GPRS
    Bearer settings
    Packet access point: orangemms
    Authentication type: Normal
    User name: Orange
    Password: Multimedia
Do not ignore the case, because these values are case-sensitive. Now, you are able to hit the red-key. Try to send an MMS: Menu » Messages » Multimedia. If that fails, do you get a G in the top of the display? Does that G get a frame after two seconds? If not, your Orange UK has not activated MMS for you and you have to call them. At least you can be sure now, you have set-up your Nokia correctly. Did that help? If not, which step causes problems and what error message do you get?

  • It´s possible to use the "Remote" app with Itunes and a Nokia E72 with Joikuspot installed only? Or I´ll need to buy a modem Wifi?

It´s possible to use the "Remote" app with Itunes and a Nokia E72 with Joikuspot installed only? Or I´ll need to buy a modem Wifi?
I was using "remote" with a D-link modem, that works fine at my iPad. But now I´m using only the cell phone as modem 3G, and don´t want to intall a router to put new cables at my notebook.

    What?
You want to control iTunes on your computer using the Remote app on your iPad?
And you want to connect the iPad and computer through your Nokia?
    No, this will not work.
Just create a network with your notebook.

  • Problem connecting Nokia N95 to Audi MMI via Audi ...

    Hello again!
My dad has recently upgraded his phone from his old-ish Motorola RAZR to the N95 and now can't connect properly to the car. He bought the handsfree set when he still had the Nokia 6310, so it's designed for that, but his next phone, the Motorola had no problem synching with the car and everything worked fine. But now, with the new one, it only works as a headset of sorts. The phonebook is inaccessible, and the ringing is only heard when you make the initial connection, and even that the standard ring ring, not the mp3 he has as his ringtone. And from the second auto-connect afterwards, the MMI only mutes the radio, and makes no other sound.
I've paired my Nokia 6280 with it and it works as it should, addressbook, ringtone and all.
Is this the problem of the N95 not supporting the old version of Bluetooth, like i've been reading on the forum and can't be resoloved by any other means than getting another phone or can it be solved by a simple firmware upgrade?
Also, i've tried googling for UHV 1733 and haven't had a single hit. I am confused. :?

I don't know personally but it has been discusse before somewhere else. Try this link:

    Hope that helps

  • Connecting Nokia Cellphone to iMac

I have a Nokia cellphone with a data enhancement cable. I have connected this to my pc before to synchronize my contacts and calendars as well as charge the phone. I have connected the phone to my iMac and it only charges the phone. Is there software I can use to synch my phone to my iMac?

You may need to purchase a third-party syncing product, such as DataPilot. I am not sure whether this product works under Rosetta. There likely are other third-party products out there. Perhaps Nokia has something, as well.
