Contacts Key Function Inactive: C3-00 model

Hello:
I have just purchased a Nokia C3-00.   The left-hand side contacts key function is inactive, however, and I can't get this button to do anything.
When I press the left-hand side Contacts Function key, nothing happens at all.   When I go to Menus > Settings > My Shortcuts, I can find information on the "Contacts Key," and it says "Contacts Key Off."   When I click the "select" button at this menu to edit the contacts key, I see a menu for "Contacts Key" and the "off" radio button is clicked.  But there is no option for changing this radio button to "on."  If I try to click the menu button at this screen, I simply get a message confirming the fact that the "contacts key function is inactive."    I would like the turn on the contacts key.  How do I activate/turn on the contacts function key?  Thank you.

I already done those suggestions you gave but still the same.. huhuhu.. My nokia c3 phone is a gift of my Ninong in my birthday last March but I dunno what happened to my phone, before I charge my mobile phone it's working and around 2pm today (this afternon) I charge my mobile phone and earlier at 4pm or I think 5pm I removed it because the battery is already fully charge and then when I turn it on there the problem goes.. I dunno why this happened, never used my phone today because I dont have load.. Could someone please help me.. NOKIA Help us!!

  • MSI Wind U110 - Reverse/swap the keys functions of the "Fn" key with "Left Ctrl"

    Hi guys,
is there a bios-fix to reverse/swap the keys functions of the "Fn" key with "Left Ctrl" for the MSI Wind U110. I don't know why this keyboard is still that disfunctional. I think this is a well known issue, people complaining about for a long time. I am really hoping that you can help me.
    Thank you, CyberKlabauter.

Have you tried using the 'Search' function up there.
I did. But maybe I'm to stupid to do it right. I found this thread http://forum.msi.com.tw/index.php?topic=121066.0 but there is nothing about the U110. If I'm searching for U110 I get only three topics (one is this one). I guess I shouldn't use any bios hack from a other model.
May you're willing to help me a little bit more. Thank you.

    Hi,
Check in vendor master in FD02 > Company Code Data > Payment Transactions, whether the payment block is active there or not?
Also check in OBB8 transaction whether any payment block key is linked to the payment term which is being used in the vendor master.

  • Windows 7 Install and Thinkvantage Key Functionality

    Hello,
I plan to install Windows 7 Home, however, I don't want to loose the Thinkvantage key and related functionality.  If someone could provide an outline to maintain Thinkvntage key functionality with Windows 7 install I would greatly appreciate it.
    Current OS: Windows XP SP3
    Thinkvantage T60/Type 1953-D7U
    Thank you

I installed Windows 7 Enterprise x64 on a W500 and all keys are working fine. Some of the tools are discontinued for Windows 7. One of them is the productivity center which enable the blue Thinkvantage button. I installed the latest version of the productivity center for Vista and works fine for me even if not supported on Windows 7. I'm sure Lenovo will find another use for the Thinkvantage button under Windows 7 tho. Also the presentation director is discontinued so the Fn-F7 will start the built-in feature of Windows 7 which will basically do the same thing instead of starting the presentation director. If you used the advanced features of the presentation director you might find the Windows 7 features a bit limited, but Fn-F7 work properly.
To make all the special keys work properly for your computer using Windows 7 you would need the following:
    Lenovo System Interface Driver
    Hotkey Features
ThinkVantage Productivity Center (The Vista version)
As i said the productivity center is discontinued for Windows 7 so there will probably be no support from Lenovo in case of problems with the productivity center.
I'm not sure what you mean about related functionality so not sure about that one. If you could be a bit more specific it would be easier to say if it will work or not. The choices find in productivity center (when you press the Thinkvatange button) is mostly shortcuts to other applications/tools that have to be installed to work and don't know what you are currently using.
You can find the available drivers and tools for your system here:
    T60, 1953-D7U drivers
You could check if you find something missing there. Also you can use system update 4 for Windows 7 that will download and install most of the drivers/software for you.

  • How to use key() function in XSL Mapper file?

I would like to use the XSLT key() function in an XSL stylesheet in the XSL Mapper designer, but I can find no way to include the <xsl:key> element.
key() should be supported as it is available in the component palette, but I can't find a way to add <xsl:key> in the designer, and if I add it manually the designer tells me it is not supported.
This is with Jdeveloper JDEVADF_11.1.1.3.PS2_GENERIC_100408.2356.5660 on Linux.
    Any help appreciated, thanks.

The usual practice is to leave the XSLT as such. A person skilled in XSLT would know to open the XSLT in source mode if the design view is not supported. Almost most of AIA XSLTs are such and one has to only open them in source view.
You might want to document this into some document/guide which the person might refer before actually making the changes!

  • How call key Function in WEB Dynpro Java?

    Hi,
Somebody know how to call key Function(F1, F2, ... F12) in WEB Dynpro Java to launch and Event?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You can WDHotKey property to define the different keyboard shortcuts to enable the user to trigger events with key combinations.
When the user presses the key board shortcut defined as the hotkey then onAction event is triggered.
The keys F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7, F8 and F9 are not supported, they call predefined functions provided by the Web Dynpro Framework.
The complete list of supported shortcuts is here:

    Cheers!!!!!!

    Hi,
You can also define your own Z fucntion modules and use them.
Some more examples are converting letters from lower case to upper case, filtering data, transformations for languages, converting formats between systems, etc

  • LICENSE KEY FUNCTIONALITY

    Hi,
I'm stuck. I've written a piece of software in Java and because of the way java's classes can be reversed
engineered I want to embedd and run the application on-line via my website say as an applet.
I read that applets can be very restrictive for example the user of my program will not be able to save
his work or a file on his hard drive. Thus not too sure how to wrap up the application.
How can I wrap up my java application such in order to acheive the following.
    1) A license key is generated upon a valid purchase send out to the purchaser via his/her email address
    2) Download my application with the necessary tools as say an icon on the users desktop.
I outsourced the license key functionality and was told by the programmer that there is no way that the license
key functionality would stop the user copying it onto another machine or passing it onto a friend - Am I missing
the point here as I paid for an incomplete solution but surley this should be the case. What are the steps required
to have safe license key functionality working properly.

You can make it (slightly) harder by using a good obfuscator, but that only raises the clue barrier and doesn't produce an unbreakable barrier.
The only secure way is to never let the user have the code at all. That can be achieved by providing your software only as a web service/web application that you host yourself. This way the user can use the application but never have access to the code.
