Content container not rendering properly in some browsers

Hi Guys,
I am near completion on a the first site i have coded for a while. When i was coding i checked the site on mac firefox, chrome, safari. Also on windows firefox chrome safari and all appeared fine. When i used another windows machine in ie and firefox(up to date version) the main content container is half size this problem also occurs on the iphone too.
im really stumped and cant find the issue i have gone through the css and checked the container sizes with padding etc and nothing seems to be breaking out unless im missing it. Ive thought about size issue but im using a 27" screen at high res and the other machine i tested was a large high res. Works fine on my windows 17" screen. Does anyone else see the issue on the browser that i am explaining?

Looks fine to me in FF 7.0.1. I suspect what you have experienced is different screen resolution settings between the various test computers you used. For example, my monitor is set at 1280x768. Content will appear smaller if the setting is 1280x1024. And screen settings are something you cannot control. I think the best methods to attempt a uniform look from monitor to monitor are to use percentages or ems when specifying size, but I'm sure Murray, Nancy, SnakeEyez, Paula, Hans, Gramps, and others may have better counsel to offer.

Add Content button not rendered inside Portlets on edit mode

Hi,
I have a requirement where administrators will add some external content(Add content) either from taskflow or portlet and that external content (along with taskflow output) will be shown to the users based on some logic performed inside the taskflow/portlet bean code.
This PanelCustomziable should render AddContent button inside the portlet when pressing ctrl shiftE, but its no doing so? Where as the same PanelCustomizable renders AddContent button inside the taskflow on edit page? Any settings or changes needs to be done to make it work in porlet when consumed in portal?
a)taskflow cannot be selected for this purpose, as there will be only a single instance of the taskflow across the portal and it cannot retain runtime MDS changes to a specific instance (Unless we design the ADF taskflow with MDS customization layer). By default, any runtime change in one taskflow instance will be propagated to all the other taskflow instances of the portal.
(For eg.. Admin drops this taskflow onto a page1 and adds a image(external content) using the button AddContent inside the taskflow because of PanelCustomizable and close the page. He drops the same taskflow from RC only to find that the changes he done on page1 is being retained here ..its not resuable because of no MDS per instance)
So we selected Portlet for this purpose, as it has the inbuilt personalization framework. Admin can personalize each portlet instance and drops on the the same page and diff page again. But with portlets, Add Content is not rendered.
Its not just external content, the taskflow / porltet has some logic to perform and displays some output based on the ruleId which is the input parameter.

CQ page is not rendering properly. It is not rendering HTML. It is showing HTML source code as is.

On some of the pages, I am getting this weird behavior wherein page is not rendering properly. It is showing HTML source code as is. Could you please help me out? What could be the issue? And how can we get rid of the same?

Check your component jsp page. it is possible that it is just plan file without directives <@ or you might have miss to close tag which is creating source as text to render

My Muse site is not loading properly on some users machines. Any ideas why?

My site: www.mdesignfreelance.com is reportedly not loading properly for some people. I can't replicate it; it performs just fine on all my browsers on Mac and Windows. Adobe support tested it on their end and it loaded just fine on all the browsers they tested. So now I'm here asking the community if anybody might be able to see the problem. Thank you for any help.

Do you have details of user machines on they are facing issue with site loading ?
If you can provide the details or OS, version of OS , browser details etc then we can try to investigate on our end.

Crystal report not rendering properly on Mozilla ?

Hi,
We are using VS2008,CR2008 on server 2012. In Chrome & IE CR working properly.
But when I am using Mozilla with updated version not rendering properly.

I added toolbar component to the toolbar Facet of panel collection component .
Under the tool bar I added two command link components with name create and delete,
the problem is at run time the buttons are not rendering properly,they are hiding,instead of links
this symbol(>>) is displaying.
On clicking the symbol,I am able to see the links,I used <af:spacer> after the links but not worked.

TaskMenu is not rendering properly using rendered attribute withSecurityCxt

I am trying to use this code rendered="#{!(securityContext.userInRole['ZPM_ENT_MARKETING_BUDGET_MANAGER_DUTY'])}" in the itemNode UI component of my Budget_taskmenu.xml. But UI is not rendering it properly.
I have checked the same code in the backing bean and it is returning true and false as per expectation but at UI level my menu is not coming properly (it is coming as #{null} in place of name in menu).
But same piece of code is working fine in my .jsff file where I am doing the same check in rendered attribute.

But I found the actual root cause of the issue.
There is nothing wrong in the expression rendered="#{!(securityContext.userInRole['ZPM_ENT_MARKETING_BUDGET_MANAGER_DUTY'])}".
The actual issue with my code was one label name was wrong bcoz of which menu was not rendering properly.

MyFaces schedule component is not rendering properly.

Hello everybody.
I am trying to use the Tomahawk schedule component with Jdeveloper 10.1.3.2. It is not rendering properly.
The schedule entries and the header line are mising for weeks.
I removed the default-render-kit-id element from the faces-config.xml. Nothing changed.
Used versions:
- Jdeveloper 10.1.3.2
- myFaces 1.5.1
- tomahawk 1.5.1

I also see a message in the preview pane when I view the .htm file in the project folder "This course requires JavaScript to be enabled in your browser. Please enable JavaScript, then relaunch the course." JavaScript is already enabled and I'm getting this in IE9 and Chrome 40....Has anyone else seen this?

The first part of your issue will be resolved if you load your course from an LMS. If you are not hosting your content on LMS, you can disable the reporting in your Quiz settings (Edit > Preferences > Quiz > Reporting).
Not sure about the Javascript related issues.

After years of intermittently having this problem, this solved the issue. I had just finished a fresh install of main sys hd (new hd) and first time opening bridge encountered this issue again after not having the problem for a few years.

The drop-down menu is not rendered properly with iframe where a pdf is embedded

I want to embed a pdf in a webpage, where the drop-down menu needs to be displayed on the top of the pdf. I am using iframe to embed the pdf.
The drop-down menu is not properly rendered (border-radius and box-shadow) in Firefox at http://mysite1.webege.com/test.html.

It is usually best to attach a minimal test case to the bug report.<br />
In that case the code doesn't get lost if the page is removed from the server.

PDFs not rendering properly with hpeprint or AirPrint

Both my iPhone 4 and my iPad 2 connect to my LaserJet Pro 400 color MFP M475dn (connected via ethernet cable to an Apple Airport Extreme) and print most things just fine. However, when I use either hpeprint or Apple AirPrint options to attempt to print, PDFs are NOT rendered properly... the graphic logos appear ok on a PDF document, but text is a complete, incomprehensible mess. I have the latest firmware and software. Any ideas? Despite all the latest firmware and software, could it be a driver issue?Thanks in advance.

Stylesheet not rendering properly on child site

I have a stylesheet in the Style Library of a parent publishing site. A Master Page in a child site is using the stylesheet, but the styles are not rendered properly. I copied the same stylesheet and used it in an ASP.NET web form Master Page
and the styles rendered properly. I then created a basic HTML page and used that stylesheet and it worked out fine. Why won't it work in SharePoint 2013? Is there a clash with the default styles and can I disable the default styles?

Fonts not rendering properly. Am I missing something?

I have PS Elements 10 for Mac. I've been trying to figure out why my text is not rendering properly. I type out a word and although caps lock is OFF, the text shows up in all caps. Also, the spacing between letters is wide. I've been trying to search through help and options, but can't find anything. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be wrong?

At the far left of the options bar is a tiny triangle. Click it and choose Reset Tool from the popout menu.
