Content Server wsdl soap checkin returns Content ID '0'

Hi,
I'm using soap web service (based on Checkin wsdl) to check in a file. There is no exception/error on both server and client sides, but the document is nowhere on the server (can't find it through browsing). The response says the content ID is '0' (which I think it's not right).
Anybody had same issue?

Probably, only support for Adobe's Content Server will be able to help you with this. It should be free since it's an upgrade installation issue. Do you have a contact in ACS sales or support that can forward your problem to the right person?

I am curious where you got the tutorial, and which version of InDesign Server you are using. Also, can you show the contents of the businesscards.jsx script?
In the meantime, it seems like the connection from Flex to InDesign is working since your script is running and producing output. The next step is to check the arguments being passed to the script, and how the script is accessing and using the arguments.
You can add this to your jsx script to test the values of the arguments:

To see the values, watch the InDesign Server console window. If you are not getting the values you expect, check your mxml code to make sure the variable names are valid, etc. If you are getting the values you expect, examine your businesscards.jsx to make sure you are using the values as required to populate the InDesign document.

Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16
I need to make wsdl web service call in my weblogic app server. The web service is provided by a 3rd party vendor. I keep getting error
Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found
Certificate chain received from ws-eq.demo.xxx.com - xx.xxx.xxx.156 was not trusted causing SSL handshake failure
Validation error = 16
From the SSL debug log, I can see 3 verisign hierarchy certs are correctly loaded (see 3 lines in the log message starting with “adding as trusted cert”). But somehow after first handshake, I got error “Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found”.
Here is how I load trustStore and keyStore in my java program:

Because my program is a weblogic app server, when I start the program, I have java command line options set as:
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore=SSLTrust.jks
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification=true
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.enforceConstraints=strong
That SSLTrust.jks is the trust certificate from our web server which sits on a different box. In our config.xml file, we also refer to the SSLTrust.jks file when we bring up the weblogic app server.
In addition, we have working logic to use some other wsdl web services from the same vendor on the same SOAP server. In the working web service call flows, we use clientgen to create client stub, and use SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter to load trustStore and keyStore, and then bind the SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the webSerive client object and make the webservie call. For the new wsdl file, I am told to use wsimport to create client stub. In the client code created, I don’t see any way that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the client object, so I have to load certs by settting system pramaters. Here I attached the the wsdl file.
I have read many articles. It seems as long as I can install the verisign certs correctly to web logic server, I should have fixed the problem. Now the questions are:
1. Do I create “cacerts” the correct order with right keeltool options?
2. Since command line option “-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore” is used for web server jks certificate, will that cause any problem for me?
3. Is it possible to use wsimport to generate client stub that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to it?
4. Do I need to put the “cacerts” to some specific weblogic directory?

I received a workaround by an internal message.
The how to guide is :
-Download the wsdl file (with bindings, not the one from ESR)
-Correct it in order that the schema corresponds to the answer (remove minOccurs or other things like this)
-Deploy the wsdl file on you a server (java web project for exemple). you can deploy on your local
-Create a new logicial destination that point to the wsdl file modified
-Change the metadata destination in your web dynpro project for the corresponding model and keep the execution desitnation as before.
Then the received data is check by the metadata logical destination but the data is retrieved from the correct server.

Error while connecting to external server through SOAP/HTTP adapter

we are trying to connect to the external server through SOAP adapter. The scenario is proxy to SOAP asynchronous scenario.
We are getting following error in Communication channel monitoring:
*Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: SOAP: response message contains an error Application/UNKNOWN/APPLICATION_ERROR - application fault*
We also tried HTTP adapter in the receiver side. But it is giving red flag in SXMB_MONI with following error:

Make sure that the receiver webservice is up and running and in a state to receive the external calls. Confirm if the data you send is as per the requirement of the webservice and they haven't changed anything at their end.

we are able to load data into staging area, but while processing stored procedures system face bellow error message :

Based on my research, this issue can be occurred in the following scenarios:
You are running a DBCC command on a large database. For example, you are running the DBCC CHECKDB statement on the database. At the same time, you run many DML statements on the database.
You create a database snapshot for a large database. At the same time, you are running many DML statements on the database.
In these scenarios, the SQL Server service stops responding. The DBCC CHECK statement is never completed, and you receive the error message repeatedly.
This issue occurs because the sparse file for a database snapshot file has exceeded the file size limitation in NTFS file system. When the operating system error 1450 occurs, SQL Server enters an infinite retry loop.
To fix this issue, please download and install Cumulative update package 1 for SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1. Besides, because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous
SQL Server 2008 fix release. We recommend that you consider applying the most recent fix release that contains this hotfix.

The oracle report server (rep60_ machine service returned service specific error 186

dear fellows i have installed 9i 1.2.0 on nt 4 sp5 machine
form is running ok but for report it say
Error: The requested URL was not found,
or cannot be served at this time.
Oracle Reports Server CGI - Unable to communicate with the Reports Server.
when i go to services and try to start service for report
it gives me error

i have created a service throu start program isuite net8easyconfig
and tested that service come with success
and then copied that tnsname to 806 net80 folder
but in no vain any help

I believe you'll need to edit your tnsnames.ora file located in \ORACLE\806\NET80\ADMIN. The last line of this file should read something like
Rep60_SYSNAME, Rep60_SYSNAME.world = (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp) (HOST=SYSNAME) (PORT=1949))
where SYSNAME is the name of the PC Reports is installed on.
I had this same error, and once I modified this file, everything seemd to work fine.

I've a problem when I tray to get a wsdl file from Internet.
In Aqualogic I've configured a wsdl file with the next content:

Wsdl - soap response...

I am working on java ,using Eclipse wit wtp and Apache Axis. The soap request is sent, an xml file is parsed and I want to generate soap responses from the xml file.
Now i can send a soap request, parse the xml, but the response am getting is not of soap format, its jus a simple data...
For eg.. if the request is add no.s ( 5+ 7) i get the sum(12) or if i request for author of a book from i just get author's name..
Instead i want it as a soap response... some thing like this for requesting the stock price...

Hi,
All that you want to do is trying to call a web service and get the response from it, you can use the WSDLs from any weather or lets say google. From XI you can call it and you would get response in SOAP format.
If you want to create a web service, create a SOAP to RFC scenario in XI where RFC returns you some thing that you wanted in sync fashion. Now use the WSDL genrated from this scenario and import in XI for another scenario.. where it could be a HTTP to SOAP. Now you would get the response of RFC in SOAP format it self..

Value type and 500 Internal Server Error (SOAP)

Hi,
I'm try to generate, by jdeveloper10g, an Oracle J2EE WebService, on an Oracle Application Server 10g.
One method that i want to publish as web service should return a class, DBVarWS, created by me. This class has a public default constructor, every private fields has its get and set methods, and so on. Jdeveloper creates and deploys the WS without problem. The other methods of the ws work, but this one generate an Error 500:

Ok the problem is solved, it was about webutil, I had a problem of path and concerning jacob.jar in the configuration files default.env of midtier

WSDL soap:address location

Having developed/tested my soap services they are almost ready for shipping as a product.
However, in the WSDL the <soap:address location=""> tag is set to my server - as used in development.
So when I deploy this EAR file from JDev (9.0.5.2) this value is fixed, and will not work for customers.
Is there anyway to make this value dynamic on deployment by customers or am I stuck with having to find out in advance customers server/port settings and then creating individual release per customer?
I have tried using a relative url but this doesnt always work for clients trying to connect, e.g.:
<soap:address location="/webservices/booking"/>
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

For now I have written a program, that is run after deployment. This program edits the web.xml and allows customers to specify the server name and port they are using.
Anyone else have any solutions to this?

ABAP Server is SOAP-client to WS with Kerberosauthentication

We have created an SOAP-Proxy client within an ABAP WAS 7.00
We tried to connect to the Webservice, but it needs Kerberos
authentication. Could an SAP ABAP-Server authenticate via Kerberos to
an SOAP-WebService ?
