    May i presume that your cluster is configured on a shared file system?.
              I have seen this problem only if you cluster is configured on different machines
              and if the directory structure is not identical.
              let us know..

  • How to map text from Request Offering to custom textbox

    Hi!
    I have new custom Tab in Incident form with new textbox. I need this textbox fill with text added by user on Portal, but I can't figure out how to map user input to this text box. I can't see it in Request Offering form. Also when I create binding from this
    form to extension of Incident Class, I can't change older Request Offering mapped to Incidents.
    What can I do to make this work correctly?
    Thanks

    User's answers from Request OFfering are stored in one field called UserInput. As result:
    You can't bind control to specified answer
    You can create your own control\converter to parse UserInout field (this is XML text)

  • Error opening pdf's from PC stored on Mac

    I have been experiencing an error when attempting to open pdf's stored in the public folder on our Mac.
    The message reads:
    "There was an error opening this document. The file is already open or in use by another application."
    It doesn't matter which PC we use to access the pdf's from and happens regardless of which version of Acrobat is being used, the same error occurs.
    The public folder on the Mac has no restrictions.
    Mac 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel
    OS 10.9.4
    Adobe Creative Suite 2014
    *Also discovered none of the InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator files can opened from PC's can be opened while they are stored on the Mac either.
    Thanks,
    Chuck

    Thanks for responding. We do not work using a Windows domain.
    I can open .txt and Microsoft Publisher files, but I get errors on nearly everything else including any Adobe product files and Word files.
    We used to keep files both the PC and Mac had to access on an external network drive, but exporting pdf's from the Mac (as well as opening and saving) took too long. So we moved everything to the Mac. If I have to work on a file I have to drag it to the PC desktop. We can't save directly to the Mac either. Files have to be copied onto the Mac.

    I have tried restarting EAS service but that didn't fix the issue. Also, i reckon this problem came up after I manually deployed 64 bit weblogic for EAS. On other environments where tomcat is being used there are no issues at all.
    Thanks in advance.

    I take it you have tried the standard process of :-
    Stop Planning,EAS, RMI services.
    Start RMI,EAS,Planning
    Log into the planning application through the web.
    Log into EAS, open your rule.
    Also can you create a new rule for the planning application after following the above process?
    Cheers

  • Error opening PDF downloaded from Interactive Report

    hi -- I'm getting an error opening a PDF file downloaded from an interactive report.
    I've seen on the forum that this could be related to the size of the file, but I've tried
    this out on 10-row results (1k files) and it's still an issue.
    I save the file to my file system. If I try to open it in Adobe Reader, I get:
    File does not begin with '%PDF-'
    and
    Adobe Reader could not open <filename>.pdf because it is either not a supported
    file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email
    attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
    If I try to open in Internet Explorer, I get:
    File does not begin with '%PDF-'
    Other users are having the same problem. Download to csv and open in Excel works fine.
    Do I need to have special print attributes for this? I didn't think so... I'm just using the defaults
    (response header = report settings, content disposition = attachment).
    Ideas?
    Thanks,
    Carol

    Hi,
    I'm having the same problem that was described above, and my site does have BI Publisher installed, and it does successfully produce readable pdfs for many reports.
    But there are other reports, even reports produced using the Apex Wizard and all defaults, that just keep producing the same Adobe Reader error reported above, ie
    "Adobe Reader could not open <filename>.pdf because it is either not a supported
    file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email
    attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."
    Any suggestions?
    Cheers,
    Peter

  • Error opening PDF files from search results webpart on anonymous SharePoint 2013SP1 site with IE

    Clicking search results, in the strict sense pdf files, using IE on an anonymous SharePint 2013SP1 site, I received the error: There was an error opening this document. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
    I would like to solve this problem on the server side.
    Starting position:
    SharePoint 2013 SP1
    Web Application:
    based on template 'Publishing Portal'
    Anonymous Access enabled
    Claims based authentication: Integrated Windows Authentication NTLM
    Client Integration disabled
    Site Collection:
    Anonymous Access enabled for 'Entire Web site' => group 'Anonymous Users' was created
    added permission to open items: $Web.AnonymousPermMask64 = "ViewListItems, ViewVersions, ViewFormPages, Open, ViewPages, UseClientIntegration, OpenItems"
    Client side solutions:
    c1) Open Link with “Open in new tab” or “Open in new window” => OK
    c2) Disable IE Add-on “Adobe Acrobat Sharepoint OpenDocuments Component” => OK
    c3) Set bDisableSharePointFeatures to 1 in regetit => OK
    Server side solutions:
    S1) Turn off Client Integration => didn't work, still same error
    S2) Modify DOCICON.XML => didn't work, still same error
    I gave these two options a chance:
    first: <Mapping Key="pdf" Value="icpdf.png" OpenControl="SharePoint.OpenDocuments"/>
    then: <Mapping Key="pdf" Value="icpdf.png" OpenControl="AdobeAcrobat.OpenDocuments"/>
    I modified DOCICON.XML on both hives 14 and 15.
    Remarks:
    - After changingparameters I allways did an IISreset.
    - As far as I understood I can only change bDisableSharePointFeatures on Client Side.
    Any help, suggestion, idea wellcome!
    Thanks!

    Hi folks, here's the reason for my problem. I used the oob search result web part. The result items (PDF items) are rendered by the template Item_PDF.html/Item_PDF.js. This template holds a code snippet that assigns a certain OpenControl to the PDF item - that's hard coded. So, no matter what you configure in DOCICON.XML, the PDF item will be opened with the control "PdfFile.OpenDocuments". Solution is e.g. just to leave the OpenControl blank.
    template:
    /_catalogs/masterpage/Display Templates/Search/Item_PDF.html
    /_catalogs/masterpage/Display Templates/Search/Item_PDF.js
    code before:
    ctx.CurrentItem.csr_OpenControl = "PdfFile.OpenDocuments";
    code after:
    ctx.CurrentItem.csr_OpenControl = "";
    Enjoy

  • Error opening PDF's from internet and from outlook 2010

    I am using Server 2012 R2 and receive an error when trying to open a PDF from Outlook 2010 or when I try to download a PDF and open it from the internet. However, if the PDF is one that opens inside the web browser, it works just fine. Using IE 11 The account does have access, i have also tried with a domain admin account. Lastly, i have tried to uninstall and re install with no luck. Any ideas?
    I receive:

    I have uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and installed Adobe Reader XI and everything works fine. This will be our current fix until a solution is found for the above error

  • Cannot launch application to open a file from jdev extension

    Hello:
    I use the following code to let my application to open a file:
    String[] cmd = new String[3];
    cmd[0] = "cmd.exe" ;
    cmd[1] = "/C" ;
    cmd[2] = "myfile.pdf;
    Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(cmd);
    p.waitFor();
    It worked fine if it was in a main method running in jdev. However, my application is a jdev client launched by clicking run/debug extension on project icon. When that part of code was executed, I didn't see the file got opened. No cmd.exe process got created either. I am wondering if I need to do something more to make it work. (I did enable "allow program input" in Tool Settings in Run/Debug/Profile of the project property).
    Anyone who knows this may offer some help/hint?
    Thanks.

    Hi there
    Perhaps this trick will help.
    Do the file browse thing where it appears to lock up.
    Press Alt+Spacebar and release both keys.
    Presss M. (selects the Move command)
    Press any arrow key.
    Wiggle the mouse around a little and see if the window pops into view.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Live offcie excel error-opening a report from server

    Hi,
    I am building live office excel objects from WEBI and objects are refreshing properly and if I open the documents later in the same day or next day, getting the following error repetedly. It is working fine for the first time ane next time it doesn't and the source for these reprots exist in WEBI Public folders.
    "An error occurred while opening the report. The report does not exist; you have insufficient rights to open the report; or you cannot make a connection to the BusinessObjects Web Service. (LO 02010)"
    If anybody knows please help me.
    Thank you,
    Best Regards,
    Satya

    Hi,
    Following solution might be helpful for resolving the issue.
    Could you please test the following and update us:
    1. Goto Folder then ALL FOLDER-> Click on Manage and then on Top Security Rights.
    2. Select the group and then click on Add/remove rights.
    3. Expand content
    4. Select Crystal Report -> Grant Export the report's data OR
    4. Assign the crystal report right to export the reports data to the user group for the desired folder.
    Even though it is a Webi document Live Office itself utilizes the Crystal Report servers thus needing to have the CR rights.

    Hi,
    I'm glad you found the VDD and VM helpful! :-)
    The brokerapp is really just a tool to demo TSAM, although it is certainly useful as a demonstration or sample in of itself. The brokerapp uses the bankapp services directly as ATMI services. If you look at the file /home/vmuser/application/brokerapp/BROKER.pc you'll see calls to the DEPOSIT and WITHDRAWAL services. Those services are imported from the 3 remote bankapp domains (SF, CHI, NY) by the domain gateway. In fact, if you start the TSAM demo/handson lab and navigate to the demo entry page and click on the demo title, you'll be taken to a diagram of the overall application which includes the 3 bankapp domains and the brokerapp domain.
    I'm not sure what you mean by converting something to SALT. SALT doesn't require any conversion of applications to make the application's services available as SOAP/HTTP web services. You simply configure SALT (specifically the Tuxedo service metadata repository and the deployment files for SALT) and the SALT gateway server (GWWS) will make your application's ATMI services available as SOAP/HTTP web services.
    On the other hand, if you are talking about migrating an ATMI application to use SCA, that's an entirely different thing. So if you can clarify which you are trying to do I can give more guidance.
