Coordinates from dxf map in java
Hi,
I have to do a project in java using maps (dxf autocad file) and draw
objects on this map according to some related lat/long coordinates. I
do not know how to map the world coordinates in lat/long to x/y
coordinates on the dxf file.
Hope somebody can help me...
Thx
Martin
You might be able to get Java source code from someone who did that [url http://www.escape.de/users/quincunx/dxfviewer/dxfviewer_intro.shtml]here or you can search through [url http://software.geocomm.com/scripts/cad/]this list for something. A few Google searches can provide many more links.

How do I use map coordinates in Apple Maps to set up my GPS?
I'm trying to use an address in Apple maps that is a rural route.The rural route is not precice enough to help me set up a route in the GPS. I have the lattitude and longitude coordinates. How do I use the coordinates in Apple Maps to set up my GPS?
I tried dropping a pin on the location I want to go to but Apple maps still directs me to a location about 30 miles away.I tried dropping a pin on the location I want to go to but Apple maps still directs me to a location about 30 miles away.
That "should" work. Drop the pin exactly where you want it, tap the arrow on the right and the select Directions to/from here. -
How can I delete ONLY the GPS coordinates from my Hi Res images WITHOUT "Save four Web" or Lightroom
Hello,
I take hi res pics of rare wildlife and plants with both my Camera's and iPhone's GPS deliberately ENABLED. Use the photos and their GPS coordinates to document and plot my sightings with dates on maps. CANNOT disclose those locations to others. I do want to keep the metadata in my pics to the very end.
Use Photohop Extended CS 6 MAC. Save files as hi res TIFF or PSD and sometimes e-mail/upload my pics to the web when I'm done.
I CANNOT use "Save for Web" to delete my metadata — I don't want the jpeg's lossy compression. Need to preserve color profiles.
Don't have Lightroom.
How do use Photoshop to remove ONLY the GPS coordinates from my hi res images EXIF data??? Want to keep other EXIF data.
Surely Adobe can provide this life-saving service?
ThanksYep, as others mentioned, just use Bridge and delete the entries there. You can select a whole batch of files and do them all at once.

How to read Group ID from Value Mapping Context in Cache Monitoring ?
Hi friends,
In RWB --> Cache Monitoring --> Integration Server (Java) -> (Search for Value Mapping Groups) in this each item is identified by Value Mapping Group (GroupID, Context, Identifier/Agency, Identifier/Scheme). Either we create Value Mapping Table in ID or replicate value mapping data directly from text file/SAP table etc., in run time cache, data will be identified in this manner.
Now, our requirement is to delete a record the Cache for a particular context. Two operations provided by XI one is 'Delete' and another one is 'DeleteGroup'. When we use either of this, we should know GroupID. Suppose, I replicated some large amount of data from my text file in Runtime Cache. Value Mapping Table is like that IN --> India, US --> USA, AU --> Australia, EG --> Egypt. Now, I am required to write a program to get the input country code from user which is going to delete in the value mapping table like IN/AU.... For this, what logic we should follow in the program is, First we scan the value mapping table and find the record (country code) which is match with the input. Then find the GUID value for this record. Now we use the DeleteGroup Operation and pass this GUID and then delete the record.
So, in essence, how to read the GUID from value mapping context.
Friends, Kindly help me to do this.
Thanks in advance.
Jegatheeswaran P.Did you get the way to read group id?

XSLT Mapping with Java Enhancement
Hi All
I am working on XSLT Mapping with Java Enhancement.
To do this scenario i have followed the following link.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/55/7ef3003fc411d6b1f700508b5d5211/frameset.htm
As per the above link I have created Source and Target Data Types , Message Types , Mesage Interfaces, XSLT Mapping (using the transaction XSLT_TOOL) and Interface Mapping part and configred a simple file to file scenario in the ID part.
Apart from this I have wirte the java code, compile the java code, create the jar file using .java and .class file and after creating the jar file import the .jar file in the imported archive of the IR..
when I am trying to execute the scenario I am getting the successful message in SXMB_MONI but the target file is having the payload as given below.
<?xml version ="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<name xmlns:javamap="java:com.company.group.MappingClass"/>
And as per the XSLT mapping the payload should be as below
<?xml version ="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<person>
<name>Rinku Gangwani</name>
</person>
I have also followed the following blog link but still i am getting the same issue
/people/pooja.pandey/blog/2005/06/27/xslt-mapping-with-java-enhancement-for-beginners
could you please tell me what can be the reason that i am getting the blank targt field values in the payload.
Thanks
Rinku GangwaniHi,
The Transaction code XSLT_TOOL for ABAP xslt mapping.But the Java Enhancement is used for normal xslt mapping which we created using Stylus Studio.You can not access the Java Enhancement in ABAP xslt mapping.
If you want to use Java Enhancement in xslt mapping then create a xslt mapping using Stylus Studio and save the file as .xsl and zip the .xsl and import to import archive.

XSLT mapping calls Java class, with hardcoded values-problem at Transport
Hi All,
I know the subject may be misguiding, but i need some suggestions how to handle the following scenario.
From my XSLT mapping, i am calling a java function which performs a data connection to an oracle database and then returns some values, whcih i have mapped in the mapping.
The problem is, i have hardcoded the Connection parameters....
and now that we transport these objects to production, the connection parameters will change.
I thought of two solutions
1) i create a new java class for Production system
2) i define the parameters as input arguemnts to my method, whcih is called from XSLT mapping
But in both cases, if theres any chg in future, there will a dependancy on one of the objects to be changed and sent again.
What is the suggested way? is there nothing like a property file(like in EP), where you define dependant parameters...and the file is only changed.
XI Gurus, please suggest me the correct way to handle.....
Thanks a lot.
MonaMona,
This is what i do..
1) Parametrize ur current calling class,
2) define a separate class called dbConnect.java there, you have all your parameters that way when there is a change your main program is untouched, and you just need to change the dbconnect.
The call from your current class will be just like
dbConnect.Runsql("sql as a string");
the runSql can then internally call
dbConnect().connect(); //that should do the connection opening.
then create a prepared statement from your string input and call the db.......
this is the implementation that would be best suited for your scenario, you can further parametrize the method to where you can add the database params from the calling xml..so all that needs to be done when the machine is changed or any param is changed is ..modify the xml........not too bad was that.....

Java Error in RFC Lookup in XSLT Mapping usinf Java helper class
Hi All,
I am doing RFC Lookup in XSLT Mapping using Java Helper class.
The Lookup works fine when called one RFC at a time However my requirement is I want to do 2 Lookups.
Both Lookups works when done individually however when I call both lookups in one mapping I get following error "javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: DOMSource whose Node is null."
Following is the code I have written in XSLT for the lookup:
<xsl:template name="Lookup_1">
<xsl:param name="STDPN"/>
<rfc:RFC_READ_TABLE>
<QUERY_TABLE>KNA1</QUERY_TABLE>
<OPTIONS><item><TEXT>
<xsl:value-of select="$STDPN"/>
</TEXT></item>
</OPTIONS>
<FIELDS>
<item>
<FIELDNAME>KUNNR</FIELDNAME>
</item>
</FIELDS>
</rfc:RFC_READ_TABLE>
</xsl:variable>
<xsl:variable name="response" xmlns:lookup="java:urn.mt.pi" select="lookup:execute($request, 'BS_D, 'cc_RfcLookup', $inputparam)"/>
<xsl:element name="STDPN">
<xsl:value-of select="$response//DATA/item/WA"/>
</xsl:element>
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template name="Lookup_2">
<xsl:param name="BELNR"/>
<xsl:variable name="Query">AGMNT = '<xsl:value-of select="$BELNR"/>'</xsl:variable>
<xsl:variable name="request1">
<rfc:RFC_READ_TABLE>
<QUERY_TABLE>ZTABLE</QUERY_TABLE>
<OPTIONS><item><TEXT>
<xsl:value-of select="$Query"/>
</TEXT></item>
</OPTIONS>
<FIELDS>
<item>
<FIELDNAME>KUNAG</FIELDNAME>
</item>
</FIELDS>
</rfc:RFC_READ_TABLE>
</xsl:variable>
<xsl:variable name="response1" xmlns:lookup="java:urn.mt.pi" select="lookup:execute($request1, 'BS_D','cc_RfcLookup', $inputparam)"/>
<xsl:element name="BELNR">
<xsl:value-of select="$response1//DATA/item/WA"/>
</xsl:element>
</xsl:template>
My Question: Am I doing anything wrong? Or Is it possible to call multiple lookups in one XSLT?
Thanks and Regards,
AtulHi Atul,
I had the same problem like you had.
The main Problem is that with the example code the request variable is created as NodeList object. In XSLT a variable is somekind of a constant and can't be changed. As the request object is empty after the first request the programm fails at the following line:
Source source = new DOMSource(request.item(0));
So I've created a workaround for this problem.
In the call of the template I've put the request as a parameter object at the template call:
<xsl:with-param name="req">
<rfc:PLM_EXPLORE_BILL_OF_MATERIAL xmlns:rfc="urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions">
<APPLICATION>Z001</APPLICATION>
<FLAG_NEW_EXPLOSION>X</FLAG_NEW_EXPLOSION>
<MATERIALNUMBER><xsl:value-of select="value"/></MATERIALNUMBER>
<PLANT>FSD0</PLANT>
<VALIDFROM><xsl:value-of select="//Recordset/Row[name='DTM-031']/value"/></VALIDFROM>
<BOMITEM_DATA/>
</rfc:PLM_EXPLORE_BILL_OF_MATERIAL>
</xsl:with-param>
With this change the request will be provided as a String object and not as a NodeList object.
Afterwards the RfcLookup.java has to be changed to the following:
package com.franke.mappings;
import java.io.ByteArrayInputStream;
import java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream;
import java.io.IOException;
import java.io.InputStream;

Data lookup in R/3 database from message mapping
Hi,
I am trying to lookup R/3 database from Message mapping.
Instead of creating Java class outside XI and then importing into Integration Repository, I have defined an advanced function in message mapping and trying to connect to R/3 using JCo API. But System is giving syntax errors as listed below:
Check Result for Object CustomerDetailsMap Source code has syntax error:

Hi, I'm begginer on Java.
I'm trying to paint a grid map on Java application. I build this map on a C++ library. This map is a bi-dimensional array of int.
I tried to get the array from C++ with JNI but not work fine.
Another problem is the paint method. I re-wrote a paint method of a Panel class that display this array, but I think it take much time.
Can anyone give ideas about this!

Accessing ECC tables from XSLT mapping
Hi All,
I have requirement where I need to access a SAP table from PI XSLT mapping.
Pls provide inputs on how to achieve it.
Thanks,
Navneeth K.Hello,
You can refer to this document found in SAP Help
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/55/7ef3003fc411d6b1f700508b5d5211/frameset.htm
And a sample blog
/people/pooja.pandey/blog/2005/06/27/xslt-mapping-with-java-enhancement-for-beginners
In your case, the idea is to call a java class inside the xslt mapping. So to access the ECC table, you can use a Java Mapping Class so that it would be easier to implement an RFC lookup.
Hope this helps,

How to set EXPORT parameter from message mapping
Again, ask the question of export parameter.
I wrote a java version transformation and it worked good with export parameter.
However I can not work it out in graphical message mapping. I refered http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/43/c3e1fa6c31599ee10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm.
In PI7.1, I add an export parameter "EXPORT_PARA" in the "Signature" tab. Are there any special step to assign this parameter to an UDF? I did not find a way to do it.
And then I define an UDF,
public String SetExportPara(String sss, Container container) throws StreamTransformationException{
String str = "GOOD";
GlobalContainer gc = container.getGlobalContainer();
OutputParameters paras= gc.getOutputParameters();
if(paras.exists("EXPORT_PARA ") == true) {
paras.setString("EXPORT_PARA ", str);
}else {
str = "NOT FOUND EXPORT_PARA";
return str;
And I assign this UDF to one element of my output XML, I tried to run it in IE, it always output "NOT FOUND EXPORT_PARA.
why?????
I know there is a blog : https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/8654. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
But it did not talk how to set export parameters.Hi,
i read thread
How to export parameters from Message Mapping
and blog
/people/jin.shin/blog/2008/02/14/sap-pi-71-mapping-enhancements-series-parameterized-message-mappings
but not found issue
in this topic
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/43/c3e1fa6c31599ee10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm.
if i writting this code in UDF, i getting an error.
If use this code:
GlobalContainer gc = container.getGlobalContainer();
OutputParameters paras= gc.getOutputParameters();
paras.setString("EXPORT_PARA ", str);
the export parameter is defined locally (in transformation step area). In integration process area parameter is equal to NULL.
How send export parameter to Integration Process? For exapmple, i wanna send parameter to other transformation step in my integration process.

Lat & longitude coordinates in flash map?
Currently, I have a map of the united states, where each
state is a button that jumps to another page when you click on it.
I also have a list of customers and the (town, STATE) where
they are located.
I would really like to be able to have flash coordinate with
a list, be it XML or otherwise, that contains the locations of the
customers, then have it ask google maps, yahoo, or some other
online program where those locations are, then have it plot those
locations on a large map of the state that was clicked on. This
way, a customer will be able to come to the large map of the United
States, click on his state, and see the locations of my company's
other customers in that state.
I have heard seen other sites grab the coordinates from a
location, but I have no idea how to do something like that. ANY
suggestions are welcome, even if it is to say that I am doing
something wrong.
To see the map I have so far, go here:
http://www.geocities.com/tjs1212/MyMap.html
Again, the goal is to go to a state, explode the state to a
larger iew, and be able to see existing customers in that state
with dots where they are located. (can make the max number of
locations per state as low as 10 to make it streamlined).You've got several issues here, but let's stick to the
geocoding one first... Try the explanation in the Google API (I'm
sure Yahoo Maps has similar documentation):
http://www.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/#Geocoding_Examples
Also, there are free services that aren't attached to Google
or Yahoo. In the version 1 of the Google API, you HAD to use one.
They used to recommend and I have used Geocoder.us <
http://rpc.geocoder.us/>
in the past and its worked fine.
Hope that gets you started!
