Copa Report selection screen in display mode

Dear Friends:
In COPA Report, we have sales group,Fiscal year and Currency type in our selection screen,sales group should be in display mode i.e. the user
must not be able to change the sales group.
How to reslove the problem.Please advise.

Hello
Create some authourization checks for the user. Try to check with BASIS team.
Also check if you can default entries for a particular user.

Opening a selection screen in display mode

I have an ALV grid created in OOPS. Each line of this ALV has name of a report and its variant name. Here I have created a button on toolbar. When a user selects a line and clicks this button, selection screen of the selected report is to be opened in display mode with selection screen filled as per its variant. Both the report name and varaint name will be same as the selected line. I am able to open the selection with varaint filled, but it comes in editable mode. How do I make it non-editable mode?

For making your selection screen non editable you will have to disable them for input.
For this you will have to modify the screen structure.
try this:
loop at screen
if screen-fieldname = 'XYZ'.
screen-input = '0'.
endif.
modify screen.
endloop.
You can write this code at selection screen of the program which calls this selection screen.
Call this code under a condition, so that it get triggeres only when you call this screen form the ALV.

Selection screen in display mode

Hi all,
I have a selection screen with 2 radio buttons & 2 text boxes. If I click the first radio button, the 2nd text box shud be in display mode & if I click the 2nd radio button, the 1st text box shud be in display mode.
How to do it?

In copa reports, i selected a report, i get the following report selections
from period/year
To period/year
plan/act.indicator
version
I want to include sales group to this selection screen of the copa report.please advise.

Dear Friends:
In T.code KEA5, Characteristics fields KMKDGR (customer group) is already present. I want to remove the Characteristics fields which are not necessary for my report.
In field Catalog (menu path-Characteristics-change selection), I selected authorization group, sales group.
I get the following warning messages
Field KMVKGR has the same name as field VKGRP
I saved the Characteristics fields for sales group and authorization group despite the warnings and activated them.
But when i go to t.code KEA5 again (Change Characteristic overview), the fields of authorization group, sales group are not saved.
The sales group (ex:Z01) has to be defaulted when the user login.Is it possible?
How to overcome the problem?Please advise.

Default value in selection screen in display mode

Hai Friends,
In my selection screen i have a parameter PA_LEVEL, this should have a default value as 10 but it should not be in the change mode. i want that to be in the display mode as in FAGLL03 ( Ledger value ).
how can i do this.

Use LOOP AT SCREEN...ENDLOOP. in the AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUPTUT event to disable the input field.
LOOP AT SCREEN.
IF screen-name CS 'FIELDNAME'.
screen-input = 0.
MODIFY SCREEN.
ENDIF.

First initialize your select option with some values then use following code

Object text not coming in report selection screen

Hi,
i have an object task type for which text has been loaded.this is included in one reports selection screen.But in F4 only kee is displayed and not text.If check button is pressed text is displayed besides key.Also text doesnt come after report is executed.

Hi Prasanna,
In the Query Designer goto the properties of the required object that you want to display key and text for it, Select the Key and Text Display option. Then you can see in report key and text for that object.

If you generating the LIST using the classical approch you cah use the SCROLL LIST keyword for this purpose.
Like:
DATA: L_PAGENO TYPE I.
L_PAGENO = 3.
START-OF-SELECTION.
DO 100 TIMES.
WRITE: / SY-ABCDE.
ENDDO.
SCROLL LIST INDEX 0 TO: PAGE L_PAGENO.
TOP-OF-PAGE.
WRITE: 'Top-of-page'.

In my requirement, I want Number of Entries icon on my report selection screen.
Means when i insert the required selection parameter's, then i want to see the total number of entries, which is come after the execution of my report.

I have extract the part from the above link.
if u want to display the no of line items, as shown in SE16, u create a SET STATUS with a push button with name No of Entries on the report screen.For that status, u write the code as to display no of lines in ur table by using either
DESCRIBE TABLE itab LINES lin.
lin gives the no of line items.
or
select count(*) from vbap.
write sy-dbcnt.
U got require output, when ur pressing No of entries button, then this will display on the output screen.

Regarding Selection-Screen Field Display

I have issues with Selection-Screen field display.
The Actual issue is i had declared a selection screen field as: s_exgen FOR embk-exgen.
EMBK-EXGEN is actually 20 Char length field.
But in output display it is being shown as 18 Char field though i can type in all 20 characters.
But display restricted to 18 Characters only.
Can anybody give me the solution for the same!

Hi,
You can decrease the visible length of the field but you can not increase more than database field length. check SAP help on this :
select-options: s_exgen FOR embk-exgen VISIBLE LENGTH 5.
... VISIBLE LENGTH vlen

This addition allows you to shorten the visible length of the corresponding screen field on the selection screen to vlen.
Variant 2
SELECT-OPTIONS sel FOR (f).
Additions as in variant 1.
Effect
In this variant, (f) must be a field containing the name of the actual reference field at runtime. The system creates the LOW and HIGH fields as character fields with length 45. However, their appearance on the selection screen is inherited from the reference field whose name is contained in field f at runtime.

Hiding Screen fields in a Report selection screen

I have a requirement to hide/disable screen fields in a report selection screen when the user clicks on some radio buttons .
Here is the scenario,
1) There are 4 radio buttons four radiobuttons in one group on the selection screen:--
Block no:1
PARAMETER: r_not TYPE c RADIOBUTTON GROUP a1 DEFAULT 'X'.
PARAMETER: r_prgs TYPE c RADIOBUTTON GROUP a1.
PARAMETER: r_remv TYPE c RADIOBUTTON GROUP a1.
PARAMETER: r_noresp TYPE c RADIOBUTTON GROUP a1.
2) Based on the user clicking/selecting the radio buttons no.2,3 nad 4 i need to hide some fields in the other selection block
in the selection screen.The parameters are as follows:

ECCS : custom characteristics into standard report selection screen

Hello guys,
I have added a custom characteristic which is also a subasignment to the EC-CS module.
This field now appears into the standard report selection screen as expected.
I want to define this field as a mandatory selection field, do you know if this is possible? (exemple of standard report CX34A)
