COPA Report Layout with Object List (ALV)

Hi,
I have question about the COPA report layout with object list (ALV). Everytime I executed the report with ALV format, the amount for quantity column always shows with 3 decimal number, menwhile for amount column always follow by 2 decimal number.
Can anyone help me regarding this matter? I do not know how to turn off the decimal number to be 0 in this type of layout, although in the form itself I already put 0 decimal number.

For information, there is different way to do that.
For my point of view Excel is better tha SAP to help controler. So I recommend to create an Excel file with the data.
After to load it into COPA use the standard way,
Transaction KEFA => base on a structure standard like CE0<ID COPA> or to create your own. In this step you define the structure of your input file
Transaction KEFB => define the mapping between your file (transacion KEFA) and the COPA structure, also you can adjust constant, fix value, mapping, ....
Transaction KEFC => upload the data.
you have to know if you load many time the budget SAP will determine the gaps between the old value and the new valeu. So you file has to be the new value and not the old value.

Print copies of layout

hello!
i have a layout that must be printed in 4 copies by laserjet printer.
I need that all the copies will be printed in one job, what is happening that the 4 copies are printed in 4 different jobs.
Is there a way to do it through the print program?
and in the open_form function in options ( structure itcpo ) the is a field TDNEWID - NEW SPOOL REQUEST what is it used for?

Make sure while setting the ITCPO-TDIMMED, ITCPO-TDNEWID is set to space (ITCPO-TDNEWID = ' ').
Or do one thing mail me the code at my email address with form, I will try this at my end....

Help reqd on copies of layout(smartform)

Hi experts....
my requirement is....the records in the table of my smartform will be displayed more than once as per the user request from the selection screen....i'e,its like a copies of same set of records in different pages...where we give usually like in print pages option such as no. of copies1,2 3 etc....
but i want this,it should be done in smartform way....when the user gives 3 in the selection screen my form print should give 3 copies of same set of records as in the main window of the 1st page/layout...
if u have answer...pls post ur replies...will be rewarded imm based on the correct solution....

based on selection of copies u can use DO..ENDDO...for that copies...
and inside that DO...ENDDO u can call ur smartform...

How to set up Print Specs and Profiles in CS5 Suite

I am no color management expert but I do want to get my printer to print the same colors as my monitor displays in PSD, AI and InD applications.
My Intel iMac and Cinema Display running OS10.5.8 are both color calibrated with Spyder 3 Elite to achieve correct color reproduction.
After days of searching and testing, this is my solution which I offer to help those new to CS5.
1. Start: PHOTOSHOP:
     Set colour settings (Edit>Color Settings) as follows:
          RGB - Adobe RGB 1998
          CMYK - US Web Coated (SWOP) v2 (This setting does not effect printer).
          Leave Grey and Spot as default 20%
     Color Management Policys:
          RGB, CMYK, Gray; all set to Preserve embedded Profiles
     Conversions Options:
          Engine - Adobe ACE
          Intent - Relative colourimetric ( my choice for AI artwork. Choose Perceptual for photos in PSD).
     Go to Save, give profile a name, and note the Conversion intent so you can create another profile for Perceptual and PSD.
     (I called mine Epson R2400 and noted the Relative Colorimetric intent).
     Finally, Go to Settings at the top of the Color Settings dialogue and select the color profile you have just named and saved. Click OK
2. Go to Bridge>Edit>Creative Suite Color Settings. Find your saved profile and select it and click Apply.
     Now AI and ID have the same colour preferences.
     Users without Bridge will have to set these items in Color Settings for each Adobe application.
3.   Photoshop>File>Print: Color Management
          Color Handling - Photoshop Manages Color
          Printer Profile - Choose the ICC Profile to suite your printer and paper stock. I used Epson canned ICC SPR2400 Premium Glossy with great results.
          Rendering Intent - Relative Colorimetric for artwork or Perceptual for photos.
4. At top of Print dialogue box, select Printer (Epson Stylus Photo 2400 in my case).
     Below, Click and open Print Settings;
     Layout - select Paper Size and number of pages (copies). Layout is one of several items in a drop down menu.
     Open the next drop down item, Color Matching. Check that he two options, Color Sync and Epson should be grayed out.
     Move to Print Settings.
          Media Type - depends on your paper. (mine is Photo Quality InkJet).
          Color - select Color or Black
          Color Settings - OFF, This turns off color management in Epson Driver leaving Photoshop in charge!
          Mode - I chose Advanced to get fine quality print. Automatic OK for general use.
      Click Save. Click Print and you should get a print matching your Monitor.
ILLUSTRATOR CS5
Bridge will ensure that Color Settings match Photoshop as 1. above. If you don’t have Bridge Go to Edit>Color Settings and specify the same as      Photoshop. Note Settings, at top of Color settings dialogue box requires the profile you created in Photoshop.
     Go to File >Print. There are 3 steps to check.
     In the window at left are headings General, Marks and Bleed, Output, Graphics, Color Management, Advanced and Summary.
     These are self explanatory. If you do not use Bridge, check Color Management as below:
1. Printer: your printer. Color Handling: Let Illustrator determine colors. Printer Profile: select your monitor RGB icc profile.
   Unlike Photoshop, do NOT use printer/paper ICC. Rendering intent: to suit your image.
2. Bottom left of Print dialogue box is Page Setup. Set your size etc.
3. Bottom Left is Printer. MOST IMPORTANT. Here are the similar setting options as PSD 4 above which require different handling.
     Select Layout, go down to Color Matching>select COLORSYNC not Epson. This ensures Apple ColorSync does color conversion.
     Profile - Automatic should appear with name of your preferred Printer/paper ICC below. ( be careful here as I have found AI sometimes finds the wrong      paper icc. Close Print and start again).
     Move down list to Print Settings - Basic:
          Page Set up - Standard; Media type - Your choice, (Photo Quality InkJet for me).
          Color - Color
          Color Settings OFF to ensure Epson printer driver does not try to manage color.
          Mode - Advanced if you want fine quality print. Automatic is OK for general use.
4. Click Print to close Printer dialogue box. Click Print to close the Print dialogue box and you should get a print to match your on screen image.
INDESIGN and General Comments.
Always select your Printer first as settings vary according to printer type.
InDesign Print set up is very similar to AI. Select Color Management at left and the Printer, Printer Profile and Rendering Intent require identical settings.
Go to bottom left, Page Setup. Specify Printer and paper size. Select Printer and the settings required are the same as AI.
If you switch between these apps there is considerable danger that the different Profile choices will trip you up. Photoshop color management requires the Printer/paper ICC, AI and InDesign require Monitor ICC. My primary error was to select my professionally scanned printer/paper ICC profile which resulted in weird colours on AI and ID. The clue that led me to choose my Monitor ICC profile instead was the ColorSync option in Color matching in AI. I hope you will find printing runs a lot smoother for you and I heartily invite better informed users than I, can add to, or qualify this post.

Regarding print brightness at output. The Settings of monitor calibration determine white point and black point. At the time you run Spyder 3 or whatever your monitor calibrator is, the software sets a white point of your choosing. current iMacs are far too bright and prints resulting from unmodified Mac monitors will appear too dark because of the excessive screen brightness. My iMac at lowest reading is 139 candelas. To get prints which match the screen I specify 80 candelas. The Spyder software also reads ambient light in the room and makes a calculation which effects the white and black points registered for both viewing and printing. Since paper reflects a light level according to lighting conditions, we each view prints in different conditions according to illumination source. This effects also effects screen viewing so conditions determine what we see.
In simple terms, ambient light reading also modifies the software calculations for colour output. If it is too high, prints are pale, too low and prints are too dark. If the Monitor calibration has been done properly there should be no problem. The point here is to make certain your calibration process is accurate. Personally I have calibrated in a dark room at night-time and I have calibrated In a shaded room at midday. Hugely different conditions. Under both circumstances I have found the calibration has resulted in good prints. So I suspect it is user white point settings or calibration error which results in prints being too dark or too light. I understand the data used by the calibration software applies to the ambient light reading to the monitor for reading conditions and uses other color gamut data for the printing process. So printing error must surely originate with the user.

There is two ways, you can either copy it over......but sometimes all the alignment goes off.
Or you can use the query SAP have given in a note. I do not remember the note number. But here is an extract of the note. I use this query often and have kept this extract one side. It only copies the layouts that do not exist in the destination company. Here is the extract.
An SQL query can be used to copy documents from one database to another, however the following conditions must be met:
1. Only edited documents with a doccode (the template primery key), which does not exist in the destination database, will be copied.
2. It is necessary to backup source and destination databases before running the query!!!
3. Both databases must share the same localization and the same version!!!
4. Select "Start" -> "Programs" -> "Microsoft SQL Server" -> "Query Analyzer" and run the following query:
Replace SOURCE with the source database name.
Replace DEST with the destination database name.

Officejet Pro 8600 plus: trouble with double sided printing

I have just installed Officejet Pro 8600 plus. My iMac is running on OS X 10.9.2
I want to print a double sided brochure. And I have succeeded. However, the printing on one side of the paper is upside down.
To achieve this:
Print <Copies & Pages <Layout - turn on two-sided - long edge binding
Layout direction is greyed out
How can I fix this please

Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that the flip on long edge option is greyed out for you when you try to print double sided. I will try to help you with this.
Usually if an option is greyed out, it indicates that the software wasn't installed completely or correctly. That or the printer isn't capable of the task. Knowing that this printer is able to duplex, it could be a problem with the software/drivers.
Try the following.
Uninstall the software.
Reset the print system.
Verify/Repair disk permissions
Re-install the software - software download
Test to see if you're now able to choose the options.

Looking for ways to change the appearence of the Print Dialog Box.
Hope this makes sense.
In the Print Dialog Box the drop down menu that list: "Copies & Pages", "Layout", "Output Options", ..... "Printer Features".......
I want it to list "Printer Features" first in the drop down menu! How do I change this so this gets listed first?

How do you change the print zoom of a webpage for printing?

I would like to know how to change the print zoom (the zoom of a page on the paper when it is printed) of a webpage for printing. I used to always do this when I had Mozilla Firefox on a Windows XP computer but ever since I got Mozilla Firefox on a Windows 7 computer, I could not do it. When I go to "File", there is no "Page setup" or "Print preview"; it just shows you the print preview and only allows you to alter the print, number of pages and copies, the layout, the colour and the zoom of the page (physical size of the whole page on the screen). I would be very grateful if anyone could solve this problem. Many thanks.

Epson NX400 sharing problem

I have an Epson NX400 connected to a Mac Mini, and have it shared to my Macbook Air. It connects just fine, and will scan from the MBA. But when I do print, the document is at 50% normal size. It doesn't matter what kind of doc, it does it with all of them. I've checked all the setting i can find, both on the printer and in the individal apps, but everything is set correctly.
Everything prints correctly off of the Mini.
Both are running OS X 10.8.2

Unfortunately it's not giving me all I need to use the R800 as a photo printer, as I'm still not getting all the options I should get in the Driver dialogue. If I pick the driver for the non-shared R800 from the Printers drop-down, I get the following list in the 3rd drop-down (after the Printer and Presets menus):

Default Printer Settings

Am just setting up my first Mac. Have connected a Brother 5150D printer which works fine both on Mac and on wireless network but..... as most of my printing is duplex (to save paper) I want to set this as the default and get two-sided printing each time I click the print icon in Office Mac or any other application. I have set up the printer and gone to http//:127.0.0.1.631/printers and set the parameters to duplex - no tumble and set the duplex option in printer preferences/layout. Despite these default settings when I click the print icon it always prints single sided. The only way I can get duplex printing is to click file/print/copies & pages/layout/2 sided/long edge binding and hit print. I have restarted the Mac after changes, recycled the printer, deleted and reinstalled the printer but the icon default seems to remain insistent on printing single sided

Depending on which printer that you have, the software interface to change the default print settings could vary. You can click the link below to view steps to change the settings on the Photosmart 7510 series printer, which is a recently released printer.

CS5 shared epson printer scaling problem

I'm experiencing a baffling problem with my trusty Epson 2400 and CS5. I have for years used this printer on my wireless network as a shared printer for my various apple devices. I have Macs running CS4 and CS5, but right about the time I added CS5 to the mix, any prints from any of the four Macs that are sent over the network from any Adobe app print at about 50%. It only happens in Adobe apps. The same PDF for instance printed out of Preview prints just fine, but at 50% from Acrobat. Same story with all the other Adobe apps. The problem doesn't occur when printing directly from the station plugged into the printer.
I'm running OSX 10.6.8. I've downloaded the most recent Epson drivers, and the Epson Print Driver's Installer 2.7. I've uninstalled the printer on all stations and re-added. Even trashed the Epson print folders in the Library on all stations and run the Epson installers again.
Anyone have any common experiences or any ideas?

Can't get correct Print Dialog options when installing Epson 3800

I am certainly not an expert at Mac OS. I have exhausted all my options on getting the Epson 3800 driver installed correctly. I am very thankful for any help since I have been working on this issue for 4 days.
I connected my Epson 3800 to my PowerPC via USB. The proper driver shows up on the "About this Mac" window under printers. I added the printer through the "Print & Fax" option. I select to use the 3800 printer option for the Selected Printer for the Print Dialog. However, when I use print in any application (Text Edit, Photoshop CS3) I only have the following options available in the pulldown below the Presets box:
Copies & Pages
Layout
Scheduler
Paper Handling
Color Sync
Cover Page
Summary
I have no PDF button available on the panel. I should have about 3-4 more items on the list (e.g. Print Settings). Also the driver being used doesn't show up on Print Dialog.
I can get different settings with my cheap HP Officejet 4300 All-in-one printer.
I've reinstalled the OS a couple times. I've reinstalled the driver many times. Sometimes there is a Epson USB option available from the More Printers button in Add Printers and sometimes not. I've also tried installing with Ethernet and got the same result - shorter Print Dialog options.
I have printed to the printer without using any advanced options. However, this greatly limits the capabilities. The printer appears to be talking to the computer - I can get ink levels displayed on the screen.
I've been walked through the setup process by Epson technical support twice but they were stumped. Looking for any suggestions or areas to investigate. I'm really baffled and I've spent hours on it.

The PPD File version is listed as 1.0
I tried the safe boot option. You weren't kidding about taking a while. I thought my Mac was trying to take off with all the fan noise. :o) However, it still didn't work - no PDF button.
I did the printer utility reset but that didn't seem to work either.
I tried the shareware you recommened. However I got the same result. Perhaps I should restart? This is the output from it:

Epson Printer Sharing Problem

I have two printers connected to my MacPro - a cheap Canon iP2600 and an Epson Stylus Photo R800. I have Printer Sharing switched on on both the MacPro and my iMac G4 800, and they are linked through a wireless router via AirPort card in the iMac, and Ethernet from the MacPro.
Here's the problem: for some time I've had the setup described above, but always printed to the Epson from the MacPro (usually from Photoshop or Lightroom). From the iMac, I've always printed to the Canon (and or to the Samsung which the Canon replaced recently), usually from things like MS Word or Excel.
Tonight I've been trying to set up the iMac so my wife can print to the Epson from Lightroom, but I find that it is not possible to do so - I get a Communication Error, and it's clear that the iMac is not able to communicate with the Epson unless I actually connect them directly by FireWire. Also I don't get the full range of options in the driver - two key items (Print Settings & Color Management) are not present in the "Copies & Pages" drop-down menu - when I try to connect to the Shared Printer.
I know that the PowerPC and Intel Macs use different drivers, and suspect this may be the problem.
Can anyone suggest a way forward for this? Or Have I hit the buffers on printer sharing here?
