Copy and paste album art in iTunes 12 for Mac

So I can copy and paste on my Windows version of iTunes 12. But I can't copy in paste album art from the web on iTunes for Yosemite. I have to save the image to my laptop and then click the add artwork button inside Get Info.
Anyone else have this annoying issue?
*edit* Tried moving this out of the iPhone section to iTunes for Mac but was unable to sorry.

With iTunes open , click command - i. Click on artwork in the open box and drag art into it, been doing all night...

Copy and pasting from PDF to Word for Mac

I have a Mac Book Pro and I am having difficulty in copying from PDF to Word documents. Specifically, I cannot highlight the text that I want to move to the Word document. I have followed the help suggestions, and found that the PDF has not encription barriers. The cursor does not go from the arrow head to the other symbol that would allow me to highlight that which I want to copy. I have the text tool, and under edit, the copy word is ready. I am at a loss, as I can copy from e-mail and other things. Thanks.

I'm glad you've got the problem licked now, or at least understand the limitations on some of your downloaded PDF documents. I suspect those limitations will apply to all documents that are downloaded from the same database or source, and will consistently not apply to documents downloaded from specific other databases, because of differences in the way documents are scanned by different database services.
By way of clarification, let me just point out that what you are calling Acrobat, which used to be called *Acrobat Reader,* is now officially called *Adobe Reader.* Adobe changed the name to distinguish more clearly between Acrobat — an expensive commercial application for +creating, modifying and manipulating+ PDF files — and the freeware Adobe Reader, which only enables you to view them. You'll avoid needless confusion by calling the Reader by its proper name in the future. No big deal, though: lots of people make the same mistake here. (I've explained this distinction to my wife any number of times, and have finally learned not to bother doing it again: she simply doesn't care.)

I have just tried this and it worked. I found the image via google, opened up get info on itunes then dragged image into artwork box.
As far as I can tell this works as it has always worked.

I don't think the list style transfers. Copy and paste the text in to Mail, select it and then choose "Insert Numbered List" as a work around.

Why can't i directly cut and paste album art

The older I-Tunes was able to cut directly and paste album art pictures, (when the find album album art auto feature failed) I now have to save album images to my hard drive,' Apart from the new coloured (I spell Colored with a "U" as I'm British) icon Red instead of blue the rest of it is just the same

The new iTunes 12 Get Info dialog lacks right-click context menus (at least for now) but it still accepts most standard keyboard shortcuts and drag & drop actions.
Delete Artwork
On the artwork tab of Get Into, tap the image in question, use Backspace or Ctrl+X. Delete doesn't work.
Or, tap the image at the top left of Get Info, this time use Backspace or Delete, it is Ctrl+X that doesn't work.
Add Artwork
Select artwork, press Ctrl+C to copy, tap the center of the Artwork tab, press Ctrl+V to paste.
Or, select artwork, press Ctrl+C to copy, tap the small image area at the top left, press Ctrl+V to paste.
Or, you can drag & drop to, or sometimes from, the same locations.
You can also copy artwork from the Get Info dialog to Windows Explorer with the keyboard shortcuts.
If the source image is on a web page right-click and use Copy Image rather than copy. (With Chrome I get a one pixel wraparound so tend to go for a temporary local copy anyway - not sure whose bug this is, but it isn't new.)
If you have multiple images embedded drag the one you want to be the primary artwork to the leftmost position.
Replace/Remove All Artwork
The top left image box can be used to add or delete art from multiple tracks. In either case all existing artwork in all tracks is replaced/removed.
Old Style Get Info Dialog
Select some items, right-click, hold down shift, then click Get Info from the context menu. (Use alt/option on a Mac)
The new icon is the least of the changes.

Cannot copy and paste album artwork v10.5.1

Used to be able to select an track, copy and paste from the album art window/frame and embed it into the tracks instead of relying on iTunes to fetch from the folder on the mac each time.
This does not seem to work anymore with this version. Right click on the window does not result in a copy/paste dialogue.

Select view source and copy/paste from there.

Try removing the com.apple.iCal.plist file from your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. To find that Library folder, if you are using Lion, use Finder>Go Menu>Depress the "Option" key>Library. Drag the .plist file to your desktop, and log out/in or restart.
Next, make sure that you are not connected to the internet. Then to to your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Calendars Folder and remove any files with "Cache" as a part of the file name. Use the same method as listed above to get to the correct Library Folder. Log out/in, or restart and check iCal for functionality.

When I copy and paste an image from Word for usage in a Framemaker document it becomes blurred.

I am saving graphics from Word for usage in a Framemaker document. When I copy and paste the file into photoshop it becomes blurred and unusable. How do I resolve this? I have tried saving the file in it's highest resolution but that doesn't work either.

The problem has to be the image itself, but then you give us zero information.
We don't even know what platform you are on, Macintosh or Windows, what exact version of the OS, of Photoshop, or Word you are using, how you are getting what kind of image from Word, etc.
It could be that you're just copying the low resolution thumbnail preview from MS Word, but we know nothing about its dimensions, resolution or format.

I have a mac computer with parallels software so as to use windows. When I highlight a sentence in windows I copy it but when I switch to firefox to paste it in a desired location, the paste

I have several albums in my library that do not show the album artwork. It states it is not available in the iTunes store. In the past I could copy and past album artwork.

I have several albums in my library that do not show the album artwork. iTunes states that it is not available, even though the album is available on iTunes. In the past, I could copy album artwork and then paste it on my albums in iTunes. In the lates version of iTunes, a past option does not seem to be available.

There are 3 ways to get custom art into the Artwork box:
copy/paste
drag-n-drop
Add from a file location.
In various iTunes releases, it is common that one of the the three is broken. Try one of the others.

Why can't I copy and paste album artwork with the new iTunes?

I updated to the new 10.5.1.(42) iTunes. Now I can't add album artwork like I always have. I open the artwork window in the lower left corner to access artwork. I used to be able to right click/copy and right click/paste. Now I can't. This is a backwards step. I'm getting fed up with Apple making changes for the worse.
I can add artwork with many more steps but the method I mentioned above is(was) the quickest and easiest.
Quit making changes just to make a change, Apple!
And, yes, I submotted feedback to Apple through the link in iTunes.

I went through updates on my three newest Macs this week. As I stated I'm talking about iTunes 10.5.1 (42). I am checking for updates now and I see 10.5.2 is now available. I'll know in about 15 minutes if this issue is fixed or not.
15 minutes later:
I must have updated this PPC G5 a day or two before iTunes 10.5.2 came out. I was able to update to 10.5.2 (11) and this copy/paste bug is fixed. I'm happy again.

How to copy and paste an image in iTunes 12

The old iTunes was very easy to use but the info box in iTunes 12 is a disaster. I can no longer copy and image and then paste it into the artwork box in the iTunes info box. It seems that I have to save the image somewhere and then point iTunes to it. What gives? Isn't there some easier way. Not every album includes artwork.
Better yet, how do I restore iTunes 12 back to iTunes 11. That version was so much easier to use.

Save the artwork in your pictures area on your computer. Then go on to itunes and right click on the song you want to add the artwork too and go to get info, then click on the box that says artwork, then click add artwork and it will open a box that will let you search your computer for the image.
I had the same problem as you and done this and it allowed me to allocate artwork to songs. Hope this helps.

Copy and Pasting album artwork

I'm trying to import/paste album artwork from the internet. How do I do that?

Short version: Get the artwork onto your computer. Then open iTunes, select the songs you are adding the artwork to. Do a Get Info on those songs and you will see an artwork box. Drag and drop the artwork from your computer onto that box. OK out of the Get Info screen.

OK, I have the most strangest event to report am really freaking out as Im not too sure of how it was possible but I am sure that there is someone out there who may! I will outline below exactly the circumstances in which this bizarre occurred:
1. Turned on Mac Book Pro (OS X 10.6.8)
2. Opened my VNC remote viewer to remote connect to my Windows 7 PC
3. Connected with my computer and opened an MS Word 2007 document
4. Selected and copied the text in this document
5. On my visible MAC tool bar I opened "Text Edit"
6. Then hit cmd+v to paste the text from this document from the Windows PC to the Mac text edit document
This is when I got a little disturbed - I will be as thorrough as possible:
The paste function worked as per normal in the fact that some text did appear in my text edit document but it was not the text sourced from the word document is was something completely different - In fact the text startlingly was originally from a text message I sent over 10 days ago on my iphone 5. I am more than baffled how this text has managed to mysteriously appear from my "Un-connected" Iphone 5 to a text document on my Mac Book!?!?!? It is beyond freaking me out until................I just happened to open my "notes" app on my Iphone and the first thing I saw was an old note i created that was infact this text that appeared on my Mac!
"A little background history on where the text came from: I had a text message exchange/conversation with someone I then wanted to send this complete exchange to someone else via text message but so it read all in one long complete unbroken message I individually copied each text exchange and pasted in sequentially into the note document until I had the whole conversation in there then copied the entire Note document and pasted it into messages and then text it to someone"
OK, so I think that this may now be something un-supernatural however, I need to determine exactly how this procedure occurred! I am still utterly baffled as:
1. I did not connect or even touch my notes app that day on my iphone and actually have not touched it since I created that note over 10 days ago
2. Checked my icloud settings on my Iphone and can see I have not got notes selected/activated
I hope I have not missed anything out but if anyone has any intelligent respones that may solve this mystery I was be extremely grateful.
