Copy cells from next filled row into specific cells
Hi guys,
I am trying to generate unique named forms based on a master list of names. What I need to do is to extract information from the master list into specific cells of the form, and save the file under unique file names, such that each name in the master list
have their own forms to look at.
I am unsure how I can run a macro to copy information from the master list, from the next filled row into the form. I find a lot of information on the reverse process instead, any advice?

I've extracted data from my system such that i have data in 4 columns, name, ID, Designation, and Date attending course. This is the master list.
After the course, I would like their direct supervisor to carry out a review with them. So I have done up a form.
I will like to customize each form such that the supervisor will receive the files with the above four fields filled up, and they can focus on working on the review.
I can choose to input them one by one, but i have a total of about 600 attendees, which makes it tedious and inefficient if I input them one file by one file. So I'm wondering if there is a macro to run to generate 600 different files, saved to the staff's
names with the necessary information being input before the review.
Please advise.

A: It can but not easily (in that you may take a hit in quality). Apps like MpegStream Clip or DVDXDV may help:

I have iphoto 08 version 7.1.5. I copied photos from recent - last import into albums. I then deleted the photos and emptied the trash. Today all the albums are empty and the photos are nowhere in the library. Have I lost them all?

KennethNo, there is no simple way of doing it directly. You need some clipboard manipulation which means you need to write some codes in excel as well. Importing the image through a file is much easier.

Unable to copy text from Word (for Mac) into Safari
I am unable to copy text from Word (for Mac) into Safari. It doesn't seem to be recognizing that I am copying a selection of text from a word document. As when I try to paste, nothing happens. Is there a way around this?
Disregard question, found it. Right click, or Ctrl+click to use submenu to Copy.

Import a CSV file into specific cells
Hello,
I have created a simple Numbers template and I want to import a csv file with its values entering specific cells in an automated way.
I think the best way to automate this process would be an AppleScript that does the following:
Selects the csv file;
Parses the values inserting them into the the Numbers template i.e. value1 to cell B2, value2 to cell B3 etc.
Unfortunately I know very little about AppleScript, does anyone have any experience in this area that they could pass on?
My idea would be to place the csv values in an array, and loop through the array entering the values in B2, B3 etc.

Copying simulation from one CP file into another...issues
Hi,
I am trying to copy slides from one simualtion into another, but when I do, all the objects et are covered with a background. For example, I copy some slides that are instructing to click on the Start menu, then selecting the program from the start menu that comes up, the start button and menu are covered with another image, like all objects have been placed behind the slide background....
.....seems really strange and a bit frustrating to say the least.

For simulation slides, make sure the boxes for Master Slide Objects On Top and Use Master Slide Backround are unchecked. -
Copying file from a local computer into mapped LAN share.
I tried to copy a file from a local computer into a Z: disc (a LAN share). I tried to use every method i found on the internet. Using io, nio.. nothing works. It works well on the local computer, but not through LAN. It says that there is not enough of system resources to go on (i'm talking about big files.. more than 200mb... small files are accepted).

stuff.
But why can't you call a php script? You could install
apache, PHP and
MYSQL on the computer running the Flash app and get it all
into the
database in one go.
Otherwise you either need to get going with AIR (Adobe
Integrated
Runtime), or use a wrapper application like Adobe Director
(which has
tons of ways to write to file through it's plethora of
Xtras.) Director
may be 'a bit' hard on your budget if you only use it for
this purpose
though.
The XMLSocket is for connections to some server, local or
remote, not to
a file.

How do I copy image from web and paste into Open Office Document
Whenever I choose Copy Image from Safari and then paste into open office, I only get the image url and not the image. I am sure that I am not selecting Copy Image Address.
When I copy images from my iTunes album artwork and paste into open office it works fine.
Any thoughts?I have done the same thing using Firefox and it works just fine. It seems to be an issue with Safari.

How can I select rows of cells and merge them vertically into one cell in each column?
I'm working in CS4 and need to be able to select 2 to 6 rows of cells (with many columns) in a table and then merge the selected cells vertically into one cell in each column. A few cells in the chart will not need to merge so I must select the ones that do. I have almost 100 pages of charts with cells that need merged this way by Tuesday. Please help!
Top chart example needs to change to the bottom example.

How to copy documents from SOLAR02 configuration structure into Solution
Hi,
in SOLOA02 we have stored our cross scenario configuration in the solution structure on top level node 'configuration' as described in the help 'Implementation and Upgrade Projects'->'projects'->'configuration'->'Edit cross scenario configuration'.
During hand-over from project to support I want to copy the information stored under configuration into our solution directory (TC SOLUTION_DIRECTORY). In the solution structure there is no top level node 'configuration'. Only 'Org Unkits, Master Dtaa, Business Scenarios, Interface Scenarios, Systems, Servers.
Can I customize the default solution structure and add the missing node? Is there another way to copy the documents?

the only way to relate the configuration structure from a project to a solution is via a maintenance project. You need to assign a maintenance project to your solution (on the solution settings tab). This will create a solution node in the maintenance project. You can now copy the configuration structure from your implementation project to the configuration structure underneath the solution node of the maintenance project.

Applescript to copy cells from excel and paste into numbers
Hi community! I find myself needing your assistance once again. I'm new to applescript and it's my first scripting language. I'm trying to create a script that will copy a block of cells in an excel spreadsheet with multiple sheets and paste that info (preferably with a keystroke) into a numbers template. I've written a successful script to activate Excel, go to the sheet with the info, copy it, then open a Numbers template from My Templates. The problem I can't solve on my own is how to select the right cell on the right table on the right sheet and Paste and Match Style.
Some helpful info:
-I've changed my [Command+V] keystroke in Numbers to "Paste and Match Style" because this is a very common action for me
-The Numbers template is pretty big, but does open on the correct sheet for the paste
Here's what I have so far: (sorry for the center justification, but it wasn't displaying correctly)

Copying data from a web page into Numbers
I frequently use a Keyword Density Analysis Tool on the web that displays three columns and perhaps 50 to 100 rows of data. There is no export or save to csv, so I just highlight the three columns, copy and paste into a blank Excel spreadsheet - and hey presto, I get three columns of data. that I can sort and analyse. When I do the same with Numbers I get three columns but all the data ends up in three rows - please see attached. Is there a simple way around this because I am trying to stop using Excel? It make two attempts to grab text items from the clipboard.
If both failed, it send an error message.

it have error box. when i copy many row sentences frow excel files(opensource progremme) and paste into illustrator CC
i don't know why cause other version can do itOk, it's quite absurd that there's no other workaround for now. I always used Adobe for webdesign, but I think it's time now to go and use some different applications, like Sketch and Macaw. I'm really curious about the last one.

I can't seem to find any instruction on how to open jpegs in Camera Raw. It says that it will do it, but I haven't found the way to do it. Command R is never highlighted when I'm in Bridge and click on a jpeg. Help! Thank you, Gregg

YouTube sounds stutter with headphones in iOS 7
In iOS 7 with my iPad 2, YouTube's sound is stuttering, sometimes completely missing. This only happens with headphones, the device speaker works fine. Also, most other web players work, so this only applies to YouTube. What can I do?
