Copy/Edit Sessions when a class is copied
Hi All,
My client has an Orientation Course, whose purpose is t provide a kind of an orientation of the organization to the new employees. This course has multiple (about 10 - 15) sessions as this requires trainers from different departments to provide an introduction of their respective departments to the new employees. This typical course is offered every month, so we should we be able to copy the class along with all the sessions every month and edit the required details. But OLM does not allow the sessions to be copied along with the class object.
I have checked it on Metalink and found that the following ER has already been raised for the same but I found its progress quite slow -

I have Video camera movies that are HD format.. I am doing editing work on them using Final Cut Pro, but using DV PAL format for the projects I am editing. When I then tried to copy my work done in FCP Project that's originally DV PAL , into a new FCP Project that is HD, and tried reconnect media with original HD movies (video), the sequence project got distorted for all the text, shapes used and all.. everything changed its orientation and scale.. Is there a way by which I can preserve my work done on DV PAL and switch it preserving its proportions, scale and orientation, but on a HD project sequence?? Appreciate your help and advice..
Yes. A couple of ways that might work.
First Way
What you need to do is load one of your hd clips in the viewer and edit into a new HD sequence. Does it display correctionly?
OK, select the clip in the hd timeline and copy (command-c). Now go to the HD sequence with the material that's distorted. Select all (command-a) and paste attributes (option-v) and choose basic motion and distort. That should maek things work. What won't work is anything that you've adjusted as far as basic motion or distort in your PAL sequence. That I'm pretty sure you'll have to redo.
Second Way.
Choose your original PAL sequence and do a Media Manage changing the sequence preset to the appropriate HD paramenters with the media offline. You then should be able to reconnect these clips with your original HD media. -
Photoshop 11 Editor will not open. Also I can edit in quick edit, but when I do copy of picture is sent to recycle bin. I am using Windows 7
I have solved the problem myself. I noticed when running Task Manager
that I was using a lot of resources (>60% CPU) when running Organizer. I
disabled Auto Analyzer and Face Recognition and all is fine now. I will add
one or the other a little at a time to see which is actually causing the
problem.

I have Photoshop CS6 Extended Students and Teachers Edition. when I go into the Filter/Oil paint and try to use Oil Paint a notice comes up "This feature requires graphics processor acceleration. Please Check Performance Preferences and verify that "Use Graphics Processor" is enabled. When I go into Performance Preferences I get a notice "No GPU available with Photoshop Standard. Is there any way I can add this feature to my Photoshop either by purchasing an addition or downloading something?
Does you display adapter have a supported GPU with at least 512MB of Vram? And do you have the latest device drivers install with Open GL support. Use CS6 menu Help>System Info... use its copy button and paste the information in here.

Invalidate session when user clicks back button
I want to invalidate the session when user clicks back button, so that user cannot refresh and reload a page.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

}The problem with even attempting to do this is that with today's browser capabilities, users can optionally choose to jump to a particular page in the browser history and this may not necessarily be the most recent page. In this case, you would also want to invalidate the user's session after already having been there (whatever page that may be). Then you have situations when the user may wish to jump back in history to external pages they were visiting before they reached your own site's pages. Then what happens when they start clicking forward, forward, etc... from there? This is why I prefer writing Swing Clients as alternatives to browser applications. There are soo many possible ways break web applications made for standard web browsers both maliciously and simply by accident or irregular user patterns. Regardless, this servlet would work based on the assumption that all the user(s) would "ever" do aside from moving logically forward is clicking on the browser's "back" button.

I downloaded 200 photos, an event folder was created, I could see all the photos and was in the process of editing them when I got a message that iPhoto unexpectedly quit. I cannot find the photos anywhere on my computer now. Is there anything to do?
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Dear Sir/Madam
I have installed standalone Oracle WebLogic Server 11g(10.3.6) with Sherman Update3,for I used JDeveloper 11g Release 2 (11.1.2.3.0).
I Sometimes got below message for several times and it can be repeatable when I have wanted to deploy my applications.
"[11:38:24 AM] [Deployer:149140]The task cannot be processed further until the current edit session is activated. When this occurs, task processing will continue. The user can exit the deployer tool without affecting the task."
Furthermore, I run weblogic console and I see to appear the two buttons "Activate Changes & Undo All Changes" in spite of the weblogic is in development mode, yet the state of my application is "deploy initialize". I Click "Activate Changes" button but it's not happened.
Finally, for dealing with this problem, I have to shutdown & start up the weblogic .Next, I can deploy my application.

That message is not an error. It means that you need to connect to the WebLogic Server Console and activate the changes.
Solution
Access the WebLogic Server Console and click on Activate Changes.
Confirm if your application shows in the WebLogic Server Console under "Deployments".

I am starting an editing session programmatically, so clicking outside of the cell being edited does not stop the session.
But even when I have resizableColumns="false" sortableColumns="false" if I move a mouse with a left button down over a column separator the session gets canceled.
How can I get rid of this effect?
ThanksWell, funny enough, but that's exactly what I want: clicking anywhere outside of the grid does not end the editing session.
Tell me then please, what would the proper way of achieving such effect be?

Looks like you imported events.Event but not events.MouseEvent (or some similar syntax) basically you must import MouseEvents separately from other Events.

Query works in Report but not during Edit session
I have a report based on an SQL query, and it works perfectly from the menu in Development. It's also in Test and Production, and it works there, too. I want to change the template it's on, so I went in through the Navigator to open up and change the report. The Edit session opens up to the query, but I cannot move to any of the other tags, because it says the query is "not valid".
It won't allow me to save the query 'as is', because it supposedly isn't valid. The report isn't locked, and prior versions (I went back to view five of them) have the same trouble. How can the query work off the menu, but not be 'valid'? We installed a patch recently, but even so, why would the query work in one spot and not another?
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

I have a 7 minute MP3 that I want to edit, however when I drag it into garageband it only pulls in the first 3:30. Any thoughts on why? At the 3:30 mark in the song there is a pause but then it starts back up but for some reason the program won't pull in the part of the song beyond the pause. Thanks!

Always Get Edit Link When Item Level Permissions Set
We've enabled item-level permissions in a folder, and all users receive the "edit folder" button, regardless of whether we've given them "manage" access. Turning off item-level permissions removes the edit link.
Is this a known issue? Any workaround/solution?That's just a "feature" of item level security, I don't think Oracle has any plans to fix it in 3.0.9X they probably have resolved the issuse in 9.0.2 ..... If you really need it gone you can click "Edit Defaults" when editing the page, right next to the portlet and uncheck the box that says show "Show Edit Link".. But then you just taken away the easy ability of editing the items through the portlet and you have to go back to the Content Area to update anything.
