Editing session gets canceled

I am starting an editing session programmatically, so clicking outside of the cell being edited does not stop the session.
But even when I have resizableColumns="false" sortableColumns="false" if I move a mouse with a left button down over a column separator the session gets canceled.
How can I get rid of this effect?

Well, funny enough, but that's exactly what I want: clicking anywhere outside of the grid does not end the editing session.
Tell me then please, what would the proper way of achieving such effect be?

Report gets cancelled or terminated after eight hours

While doing load testing of reports, all of my reports got cancelled or terminated after eight hours. I bang the report server and database with 30 long running reports using RWCGI60. The rwcgi60/showmyjobs shows that all are running for 8 hours and after that boom... all gets cancelled one by one with in a five minute period. I still see the SQL session activity on database. The report server log says the server engines are crashed one after the other. I have Maxengine set to 15. When I submit 30 reports I see 15 running and 15 enqueued.
Is there any timeout parameter set on RWCGI60 where by it lost contact of database? RWCLI60 works fine and finished all reports.

The timeout is a seeting in http server on which you host Reports CGI. Once that time limit is reached and no output is written, the web server would time out for that request. Reports CGI does not have any timeout parameter property.

I tried to update and it keeps telling me to get the Application Manager. And this is what happens

LANDSCAPE FETCH job gets cancelled

The LANDSCAPE FETCH job gets cancelled on solution manager system due to the below mentioned error and in order to fix it
we have already applied the SAP note 1335225 but, the issue still persists.
Right now, we have come across the SAP note 1108071 which says the job will get cancelled "if you made adaptive computing
settings in SMSY and the SLD is not accessible".
can any one help me with how to check the adaptive computing settings in the header data of the system.
Also, the SLD check from system via tcode:sldcheck is sucessfull and we could access the SLD via browser. Please find the
details below.

Could you include the Landscape_fetch error you mentioned in your message?
I think the issue is still your SLD. At the bottom of SLDCHECK it tries to retreive business systems in SLD.
If it is successfull you will see something like:

When sales order get cancelled

Please explain the process when sales order is created for 10 QTY and production order released for 10 qty and all operations confirmed for 5 QTy & moved to FG remaining 5 no qty is in WIP, so then sales order get cancelled, and got another new sales order with different specifications with same qty.
now i want convert the cancelled sales order qty to new sales order qty

Anyway you were doing the Activity confirmation for the 5 quantities at the operation stage.
so the component only consumed for this production .when you check the material document for the particular confimation . you can see the component was consumbed. ( 261 movement)
So you do the reverse the confirmation at the operation stage CO13 . and you can reverse the components back to the production storage location back. (movement type 262)

Query works in Report but not during Edit session

I have a report based on an SQL query, and it works perfectly from the menu in Development. It's also in Test and Production, and it works there, too. I want to change the template it's on, so I went in through the Navigator to open up and change the report. The Edit session opens up to the query, but I cannot move to any of the other tags, because it says the query is "not valid".
It won't allow me to save the query 'as is', because it supposedly isn't valid. The report isn't locked, and prior versions (I went back to view five of them) have the same trouble. How can the query work off the menu, but not be 'valid'? We installed a patch recently, but even so, why would the query work in one spot and not another?
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

1)Are the bgd workprocess free in the system currently?Check if there are any long running jobs holding them.
Bgd Work process are free but with error code 373,223,007 etc for all 5 bg wp

Getting so may Tem se management errors.
Some TemSe objects are stored in files. To do this, a path name is set up from the TemSe object name. To be able to use this path, TemSe management requires a directory. It attempted to create it itself. However, this did not succeed.
3)Check if the filesystem is full as you suggest no logs are being written.
File system having free space
4)Check if the user who has scheduled the job is locked ?

Job SM:EXEC SERVICES gets cancelled with SYNTAX_ERROR

The job which refreshes Service sessions (for Early Watch Alerts) in SolMan 4. gets cancelled with the message:
Syntax error in program "RDSVASAEA_ROOT_____________050 ".
I performed a syntax check on the program in the ABAP Editor and it gives the following result :
Field "BDLDLTRHOSTS001030" is unknown. It is neither in one of the
specified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement.
Can you let me know, how to solve this problem.
My system is SolMan 4.0 SP 15 on Win 2003 with Oracle 10.2.
ST-SER and ST-ICO are with the latest support pkg level,

This offers an easy way to update the service definitions and to generate the logfunc Includes.
Step 0: Ensure that optimizer statistics exist for table D010INC.
Step 1-3 :You can use functionality in SDCCN to execute these steps.
Perform:
- Path: SDCCN -> Utilities -> Maintain Service Definitions
- Select 'Delete and Replace Service Definitions -> Confirm this selection
- Confirm that you want to delete the definitions
- Confirm that a new task 'Service Definition Refresh' was created
(Take a note of the task id -> Review the log for this task id when it is completed)
You should not not see any errors for either the update of a Service Definitions table or the generation of any re-import include.

Inactive Sessions Getting Automatically Generated in Database

I am facing a strange problem of getting huge number of inactive sessions getting generated th the database server which leads to it's connection closure.
The Error reads as "Failed to check out an Application due to connection failure of Application Module."
This happens each time I execute the following code:

I know there is a process of creating connection and View Object in Model part in JDeveloper, but I want to know why this problem happens.

ApplicationModule app1 = Configuration.createRootApplicationModule(amDefName,configName) ;is your problem as it causes at least one (sometimes more) connections to open. As you don't free the resource after using it the connection remains open even if you can't access it anymore.
You should call Configuration.releaseApplicationModule(...), with the application module you created before returning.
On the other side you shoulnd not even call createRootApplicationModule in the first place (as it causes trouble if you don't deeply know what the framework do with a root application module).
Can you tell us the use case which make you call createRootApplicationModule()? We might find a better solution.

Systemd/user: tmux sessions get killed when stopping systemd session

Following the wiki guide on systemd/user, I am now starting my X sessions using systemd unit files for my user.
My problem: when I quit X or exit the systemd session (for example through $ systemctl --user exit), my tmux sessions get killed along with it. Note, I do not start tmux with unit files, but simply through invoking “tmux” in a virtual terminal. I have also tried detaching the tmux session before quitting the systemd session, but to no avail.
How can I make my tmux sessions survive X closing?

That is beacuse tmux becomes a child process of the systemd --user session. So it gets caught up in the cgroup and everything. What I have done is I start a system service of tmux as my user (I have creatively come up with the name "[email protected]"). Here is what I've got, that has been working for me:
% cat /etc/systemd/system/[email protected]

Description=Start detached tmux session
After=multi-user.target
Before=shutdown.target
[Service]
Type=forking

Job E2E_HK_CONTROLLER getting canceled daily after EHP1 upgrade

Triggering a job when the first job gets cancelled...

From BMV0, we can trigger a job once the first job is completed using the 'After Job' option. Can u tell me if its also possible to start another job when the first job gets cancelled ?

Go to the database view V_OP and check for the column 'STATUS' which gives the background job status , based on value from this column (cancelled status ) , start the new job with FM : 'JOB_START' .

I've noticed that sometimes while running firefox (either with or without flash), I get a new feature like oldies windows and then the X goes 100% of one of the cpucores.
Just pressing alt+tab it stops... but the fluxbox banner remains there (wherever I have the mouse while I'm pressing alt+tab).
Is strange that We're using fluxbox...
I've seen this new feature on my laptop and on my desktop with Nvidia & intel cards (everything else on the Arch system is the same)....
I'll launch the xrestop and see if there's something there...
Also I've tryed to build&use fluxbox from sources and I get the same feature.

Premiere Pro CS5 - Peak files regenerating in the middle of edit session...

Peak files generate at the beginning of edit session as expected. Then unexpectedly get peak files generating during the edit session. I notice the file names for the peak files generating are the same files that were loaded upon opening the edit session.
What are the potential causes of this?
Intermittent drive failure?? Premiere Pro issue??

It happens somtimes for some people. I don't think a finite cause is known at this time. The general recommendation is to use only internal drives, no network storage and no externals.
