Coresuite - has any one used this ? if so what do you think
has anyone used the Coresuite from
http://www.coresuite.ch/
if so what do yu think of it?
We had a closer look at the "coresuite framework" as we had a similar approach to connect small add-ons to B1 via an interface component which held a single connection to B1.
But most of their other components seem to run outside B1 client (??) which is why we didn't try it out...
Have you tried it out? If so what do you think?

Has any one used Safari with TreasuryDirect?
TreasuryDirect is asking for "A Web Browser That Supports 128-Bit Encryption". I cannot find any information about Safari's encryption capabilities. Has any one used Safari at TreasuryDirect?
Thanks gameManHi,
Safari does support 128-bit encryption, as mentioned on this page:
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/safari/
"Safari also uses strong 128-bit encryption when accessing secure sites such as your bank or an online store, so you can transmit account and payment information with confidence."
I can't comment on TreasuryDirect however - hopefully someone else can answer that part -
Since I updated my pages to 5.01, I can't open documents created on my iPad today. It says you need a new version of pages to open document. (My computer says it is installed). Has any one encountered this?
Well, here's what I found out that works for me...
I had a Pages icon on my dock, and launching it brought up version 4.3. But I went to my Apps folder and found the new updated icon there and when I launced that it brought up version 5.01. So apparently the Apple update process left two versions launchable on my iMac. Weird...

I have an iphone 4 and the screen is jumpy and after a liitle while the colors change, has anyone else had this happen and what did you do (if anything) to fix it?
Read: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4436
It is pretty short so here is the entire text:
Symptoms
A purplish or other colored flare, haze, or spot is imaged from out-of-scene bright light sources during still image or video capture.
Resolution
Most small cameras, including those in every generation of iPhone, may exhibit some form of flare at the edge of the frame when capturing an image with out-of-scene light sources. This can happen when a light source is positioned at an angle (usually just outside the field of view) so that it causes a reflection off the surfaces inside the camera module and onto the camera sensor. Moving the camera slightly to change the position at which the bright light is entering the lens, or shielding the lens with your hand, should minimize or eliminate the effect.
Which is exactly what eelw wrote.

Has any one had trouble with pages? I have updated but when I try to use it a screen says that I need to update. What do I do?
Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there.

When I try to import an excell file to numbers on my ipad i get an error message that says it cannot import the file or open the file because it contains cells outside the boundry of numbers. Any one have this problem. it is only one file that i have this problem with and it is an important one. I have no problem working on it with my mac and my excell for mac.
Number is limited to about 65000 cells so if your Excell spreadsheet is too large Numbers will choke. This is definitely one of the weaknesses. If you don't have Excel you can use LibreOffice which is free.

1way.dll Has any one used the following
I want to use a Copy right/evaluation program or dll, to give a limited trial period for an application written in Labview 6.1. Has any body used or has any good ideas for controlling such functions. I was going to try 1way.dll software but don't know how labview will cope with calling this dll. I would like to offer the client the ability to obtain a serial number for continued use.
I can think of a couple of ways to do this. For small volume applications you could hard code the expiration date into the application prior to the build. At startup you could then check for a valid reistration code (this could be coded into an ini file) and then, if not registered, perform the appropriate task depending on whether the period has expired. You may also want to check during operation (say, for instance, every hour) to prevent continued use of the program by leaving it running. You could put a button on the front panel which is active an visible only if the program is not registered to allow for writing the registration code.
The second way is to include the start data in the ini file and have the evaluation period hard coded. This method is l
ess secure, although you could invent an encryption style for the date. Otherwise implementation would be similar.
I'm not familiar with the 1way.dll software so I can't give you any guidance on how well that approach would work. -

Subject: Apple Store - Your Recent iPhone Order
Dear Apple Store Customer,
When preparing your iPhone for shipment, we encountered an issue completing the AT&T account set up and have placed your order on hold. This could be for a number of reasons:
- You may have already purchased a phone or placed multiple orders for the same phone number.
- Your order may be on hold due to an issue with your AT&T account.
You can confirm your current AT&T eligibility status by entering your existing AT&T account information here. Please contact AT&T at 800-331-0500 or visit www.att.com/wireless to resolve your issue.
Once your issue is resolved, you should expect to receive a Shipment Notification email within 24 hours.
We'll continue to retry shipping your order for up to seven days. After seven days, your order will be canceled.
We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused.
For the most up-to-date information on your order, please visit Apple Order Status.
Sincerely,
The Apple Store TeamI found this on iphonefaq.org:
We received that email on the evening of the 24th. The problem was that when we ordered on 6/15 @ 1am PDT the online Apple Store crashed 16 times. We had only one order with Apple but they had routed to AT&T for credit approval 16 times and there were 16 orders (AT&T called them accounts created) at AT&T. When AT&T removed 15 of them everything was OK. New ship date is this week. Don't blame the Customers for bad coordination between Apple and AT&T.

Chroma key with LiteRing - any one used this system...
Is it any good. Pitfalls, stregths, ease of use...
See: http://www.reflecmedia.com/content.aspx?Content=litering.htm
Thanks for your time.I kinda like this system (even with dv). It is not a too good to be true system. One big problem With it is you have to have your camera at a good distance because it does cause problems with the spill. You also get a horrible ring reflection in your subjects eyes. but for the portability, the ease of setup, and I think it actually keys pretty good, I like it and actually use it regularly.
