Correct usage of select and option statements
Is it ok if I say this in my option statement?
<select name="XYZ" onchange="return valChange(this)">
<option <%=Selected%> value="100"><%=100%%></option>Or should the option tag just contani the variable names instead of values directly?
like this
<option <%=aTmpSelected%> value="<%=abc%>"><%=fslr%></option>where atmpselected contains selected,
abc contains 100,
and
fslr contains 100%,
as values?

The value attribute is the string that gets passed to the form when it's submitted. The text between the <option></option> tags is what gets displayed for that choice. You can use a conditional to decide if "selected" gets added to the html.

JDBC Sender - Different number of records selected and updated.

We have a JDBC -> Abap proxy scenario. The JDBC sender is pooling an Oracle database to retrieve data from a table X, each 30 minutes. The select and update statements in jdbc sender are below
SELECT FIELD1, FIELD2, FIELD3 FROM MY_TABLE WHERE STATUS = 1
UPDATE MY_TABLE SET STATUS = 2 WHERE STATUS = 1
Sometimes the message sent to Abap proxy has, for example, 400 records. Looking at runtime workbench, message monitoring, for the same message there is a log like this
Channel SENDER_JDBC_CHANNEL: Query executed successfully. Start update
Channel SENDER_JDBC_CHANNEL: 510 row(s) updated successfully
Someone has already experienced something like this? How can I handle this to guarantee to update only those read records?

Will this parameter serialization work in our case?
1. SELECT XBLNR, WERKS, MATNR, MDV01, BACKFLQUANT, STATUS, SAPTIMESTAMP, PITSTIMESTAMP, PMTIMESTAMP, BATCH FROM PMBPITS.PITS_UNITY WHERE STATUS = '01' and rownum<200 .
2. UPDATE PMBPITS.PITS_UNITY SET STATUS = '02' , SAPTIMESTAMP = sysdate WHERE STATUS = '01' and rownum<200 ( currently the value is rownum < 5 )

Within music Library can anyone please explain why after I select the option to sort 'Album by Artist' a number of tracks are being treated as separate albums? How can I fix this? I have tried to manually correct by 'drag and drop' individual tracks but that doesn't work. My music library includes a number of repeat album artwork images simply because not all tracks are being listed under the one album making my library more difficult to use than it should. Any advise would be appreciated.

Installed 5.0 now my memory usage is high and computer is slow. how do i correct this?
my cpu usage keeps popping up and saying firefox memory usa isge is at 73%. then my computer runs slow. i did not have this problem with my last version of firefox. also usage from plug in container is high. how do i correct this?

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data. See https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+Firefox
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use
your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of
installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

Single Select statement is certainly better.
But no need to do select * and using into corresponding fields. These will reduce the performance. Also the loop statment is not absolutely correct. Following could be a sample code.
TYPES: BEGIN OF gx_ekes, (maintaining same sequence of fields as in select statement, this way no need of into corresponding fields)
ebeln type ebeln,
ebelp type ebelp,
menge type bbmng,
dabmg type dabmg,
END OF gx_ekes.
DATA : lit_ekes TYPE TABLE OF gx_ekes,

I have a problem, that I think is not possible to solve the way I want to, but I just wanted to check before leaving the idea...
I am looking for a way to combine the select and the update statement into one single statement. This is what I wan't to achive: select some data, and update the data selected before returning them.

I need to have this as a single statement, and cannot use bind-variables. So I was hoping that something like this could be possible:

where c.HAS_CREDIT = '1'
But this doesn't compile, complaining of missing into (ORA-00925: missing INTO keyword). And even though I would like this to be possible because this would solve my current problem, I think it would be very confusing. For instance; would the where clause of the returning part be operating after the update or before?

The real problem is that the form of RETURNING clause with bind variables is only valid for single row update or insert statements.
To update (or insert) multiple rows and return the data, you will need to use
RETURNING BULK COLLECT INTO clause. See

Need a shortcut to "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above option preference" I know where it is and how to use it but I have to go through 7 mouse clicks to change it, then a few minutes later change it back. I also know the sequnce is alt t, alt o, alt c, alt a, then ok, ok. Got to be a way to make a one key short cut for this. I use a black background to reduce eye strain, but about 10% of the webpage I go to can't be send with black so I have to go into tools and hit 6 or 7 things to chnage it then after through with webpage have to do it all over at Not allow webpages to have own color. Very very cumbersome.

Ever since I bought my ipod touch 4th generation, IOS 4G, 8GB in January 2011, it would not sync selected playlists.
This is even when I have checked 3 things:
1. Under Summary/Options, I've checked "Manually manage music and videos" and "sync only checked songs and video."
2. When I go to the Music tab and attempt to sync, I have already chosen "selected playlists, artists, albums and genres"
3. When I click on "Sync" a window comes up and says "Are you sure you want to sync music? All existing content on the iPod will be removed and replaced with songs and playlists from your iTunes library."
Do I have a defective ipod?
5Red5Sync should be an automatic feature that can be triggered manually. Although, I have a two Shuffles, which are obviously not Touches, so they might be different.
If you have your iPod set to manually manage music, the option to sync only checked songs should not do anything. You have to drag songs manually to the iPod on the sidebar to add music (I've created playlists of only songs I want, then I shift-click the whole thing and drag all of the songs at once to update them, that way I don't have to remember what goes where), and you have to manually select and delete songs from the iPod's 'Music' library on the sidebar to remove them.
As for syncing the files, on my shuffles, they sync individual songs (for Get Info information changes ONLY) automatically every time I plug them into iTunes, and again if I make any changes to the Get Info stuff while they're plugged in. For example, if I added a song to my iPod playlist, it wouldn't sync it, but if I changed the genre of a song that's already on it, it will automatically sync.
