looking to set up a email newsletter system....can "send email to recipients from recordset" be used to send a php page? or only html/htm files?

Email clients can read in HTML but I don't know any that can read php pages. You are able to make an HTML page that can have values carried over from your forms and placed into the final HTML page, giving you dynamic values within your email.

It's not a good idea to use a network disk for both Time Machine backups and other things. By design Time Machine will eventually consume all the space on its output disk, which will then cause problem for your other files. I'd store those other files on an external disk connected to the Time Capsule. The problem with that is that Time Machine will only back up files that are local to your Mac. That means that you'll only have one copy of the files on or attached to your Time Capsule.
By the way, you've been misled by poor field labeling on this forum into typing a large part of your message into the field intended for the subject. In the future just type a short summary of your post into that field and type the whole message into the field below that.

I could send emails but now I can not send emails

HAd iPad 2 for about two months when first had it I could send emails now with out changing any settings I can not send emails

I'm having the same problem. I've had my iPad2 for about 9 months and it has worked perfectly well up uniptil the other days. I can still receive emails but I cannot send any. Each time I try, they simply sit in the outbox with an exclamation mark icon next totem which, when interrogated states "cannot send mail - SMTP: the user name or password for (email address)@smtp.live.com is incorrect". I've check over and over again, and neither the username nor the password is incorrect. Can anyone help?

Send emails from a csv file (grouping records with the same email addresses)

Writing a script to send emails from a csv which contains record details and email addresses using the Send-Mailmessage cmdlet.
That part is no trouble, however, the csv file contain records that can have the same email address.
Is there a way/method I could send the records with the same email address once instead of sending individual email messages?

Once you master the pipeline these things will become second nature. In PowerShell it is not necessary to write lots of code most of the time.

Using LoadVars in SSAS to send data to a php file

I am using FMS 4.5 and have a simple application which I want to use to send two strings to a php file. But I get a compilation error whenever I try to assign any value to these objects:

I can't compile with the second line. FMS just says: Sending error message: Compilation error
How do I send variables to a HTTP URL?

Try keeping url and and POST method within "quotes". Also, method [POST/GET] is third parameter, second is target where results must be loaded (if any)..

Send email with 1 excel file and multiple sheet

Hi,
I need to send an email with attachment file in excel format. The problem is now the requirement requires 2 worksheets/tabs in 1 excel file.
For example: I need to put details data in sheet1 and summary data in sheet2 and this program should be working also if it is run in background mode.
Currently, Im using cl_document_bcs to create document, but could not find a way to create 2 tabs in the excel file.
Has anyone got an ideas on how it should done?

Does anybody explain to me if ...
Is there a function in ABAP to send an external email with more than one files that exist already?
Something like : a function with parameters
    - a table for the directory\name(attachments).
    - a table for the text lines for the email.
    - a table for the internet addres.

Open a Write Window
Do you have a Menu Bar with File-Edit-View etc?
If not press the alt key or F10 to make it appear.
From the Menu Bar select View-Toolbars and turn the missing tool bar back on.
Send is on the Composition Toolbar.

Send email with existing excel-file as attachment

Is there a function to send an e-mail with an attachment which is an existing excel-file on my C:\-drive.
I found lots of possibilities to send mail with internal tables as attachment but in my case the attachment is an existing excel-file (c:\test.xls)...

ODI send email with latest error file attachment

We have kick-out/error file with the format *err.txt. Whenever error occurs the same gets overwritten by the latest file. We are attaching this error file on the completion of the job. If error file generates, everything is fine. But, on the successful run, I mean when there are no error file generation, it attaches the previous run error file.
Anyone of you help me how to handle this situation. Is there any way to validate the file generation date before attaching the file.

As of now we are following that as a workaround. However our client wants to avoid the manual work of delete/move/renaming the error file.
Is it possible to check the file generated date with sysdate for attaching the error file by odisendmail.

I just upgraded Thunderbird and now I can't send emails: error message reads "file size too large" which is not the case

We bought the iPhones and Ipad so that we could send emails while we are out of the Office, but we are not able to do this unless we can find a WiFi connection. Incoming emails are fine. We use IMAP, for Business emails just incase this is relevant and I know that Hotmail is POP3.
Our technical IT knowledge is not great, so we look forward to your suggestions as to how to resolve this.

Contact whomever supports the email account and get the correct Outgoing email server settings from them.
